Upon arriving, you realise that the hotel is no-frills and fairly basic. The best way to describe it is it reminded me of my old student halls - rooms were decent size with basic facilities and in need of some TLC
My only real issue with the place is the lack of soundproofing & the heavy doors. Whenever a door nearby is closed you hear it pretty audibly
Best part is the shower - water pressure was brilliant
Checked in on Monday and the receptionist was very nice & welcoming with a good sense of humour
Wouldn’t rush back, wouldn’t avoid it either.

Surprisingly good experience - better than many Travelodge stays (I've been to so many!) Very clean, spacious room, nice shower, really nice staff, and actually quite decent breakfast. Nice work!

Nice place.
As we all know packing to go away is hard and always a nightmare if you forget something.
Here is where travelodge should have a think about how to improve.
Little packs that cost £3 would be affordable to most.
*sanitary products
*grooming kits
*first aid kits

I have stayed here Atleast 10-15 times and nothing to complain about. Good rooms but be careful with you car as you can’t rely onthe safety in this car park Inspite paying .
But- I must admit. You pay the car park and your car is your responsibility. My brand new car was damaged by some vandalisers. Who knows their motive. But the staffs were friendly enough to say what’s the next step but as I said. It’s our responsibility and the loss is ours.So it was easy for them to wash their hands off.
But very disappointed and actually scared to leave my car in their car park and sleep peacefully.

You get what you pay for at Travelodge so it does the job.
The London City Airport branch is quite old and rundown compared to some other branches I've stayed at.
We had issues with our key card not working on multiple occasions so it was quite annoying to go all the way back down in the dirty lifts to reception to get it sorted.
They were understaffed at night during my stay so it does take a while to get any service but staff were friendly.
They don't restock the vending machines often so be prepared during the day with water and food/snacks if needed. (There's a Nisa local shop that opens until 11pm about 5-10mins walk away)
The room was very spacious (double room) although not super clean, there was a huge spider web in the corner of the room and loads of stains in the carpet.
No cleaning service during our 4 night stay, so bin was overfilled. Pillows were very flat and lumpy and mattress was very squeaky. The bathroom was spacious and relatively clean although you end up fighting the shower curtain when it flaps around constantly when the shower is on and a current of air blows through.
Transport connections are good with frequent buses to DLR stations like Canning Town to get into town and London city airport.
Overall, it's very budget friendly but there are better quality branches than the London City Airport one.

The staff here were amazing especially Tu & Simona however the food was rather overpriced and the dining room always looks closed maybe put more effort into the restaurant as there is not enough facilities in the area. Also the stench of weed was not nice either very off putting. Definitely more considering into the restaurant and the matress needs changing in 215 as it’s over 10 years old.
Apart from this the Stay was great and hats off to TU & Simona you both show lots of enthusiasm and should be credited for your work.

Great place to stay is you have an early morning flight from London City, the upgrade to a SuperRoom is worth it, and normally only £10 extra, but you get two kitkats in the rooms along with luxury tea and coffee making facilities and dimmable lights. A much nicer room than the standard affair.
D. B.
Very good reception, can be a little noisy. Breakfast excellent. Good for travel connections.
ن. ا.
The most beautiful thing is the Reception team ( Aisha, Waleed, Moya, Tu, Jiwana) they gave you a warm ambient and they are humble, very helpful.
The property is clean and they are really working on to improve the guest experience.
I highly recommend staying at Travelodge London City Airport
1) convenient price
2) clean and cosy
3)very welcoming staff
4) close to DLR ( 9 min walk)
5)Bus stop is be front of the hotel
I. M.
Well worn but clean and comfortable. Very freindly and helpful staff. A lovely 10 min walk to Excel, next to airport and 5 min walk to Fox Conought pub.
D. T.
Typical Travelodge staff very accommodating parking is charged £8.20 / night by app or mobile

I arrived half hour early and the receptionist (Tu I think his name is) was very helpful and let me check in rather than send me away. He was there again the next morning, polite and helpful.
Booked myself in for breakfast. Was adequate and filled the hole in my belly so can't complain.
The lady who served me (Carol) was a delight. Helpful, chatty and seemed to enjoy her job. Made for a nicer morning as I was staying there for work.
Room was standard. Bed was comfy enough and the bathroom was modest. Had a good night's sleep which is what counts.
D. D.
Jasna and Sharon were amazing! Really polite and nice service from them both, honestly fab attitude from them both, also the rooms were amazing and they really made me and my girlfriend feel at home.
R.
Supervisor who checked me in was very polite and I remembered her from a previous stay where she was equally polite. There was a confusion with my booking which she quickly resolved.
Hotel was clean and pet friendly, my dog loved his stay, our room was spacious so he could move around and well ventilated so he didn't get to hot.
All staff we had interaction with were really polite.
Served by a lovely young lady in the restaurant who went all out despite a tricky order.
My family and I have stayed twice in this hotel now and will definitely be back.
G. P.
Easy to access, clearly signposted, clean rooms and helpful staff exactly the Travelodge experience you expect, might be a bit noisy but it's next to an airport so it's not exactly a secret there's going to be noise during the night.
a. m.
Although old and need some renovation but staff are helpful and the hotel is close to many important venues. Parking is 8 pounds a day which is convenient.
P. J. A.
Staffs and Room space are good but carpets looks dirty and old.
k. b.
Staff here are fantastic really welcoming and friendly especially Tu .. A lovely clean comfortable hotel would definitely recommend.
P. H.
Visited Friday to Sunday Mid August, and The staff were fantastic, Extremely helpful and friendly. Most notable were Alysha and Jay, It was quite busy, but to be expected as a nearby travelodge was closed. Location is ideal for visiting London with 2 DLR stations nearby and a bus stop right outside. This is the second time we've stayed there and we will happily stay there again.
P. F.
Maisha gave good service. And i like how friendly she was and she is the best receptionist i have seen. She was friendly and helpful.
I. S.
Booked a room as had a flight from City Airport early the next morning room was ok bed comfy but was at the rear and you could hear the DLR trains at the end of the day it`s not the ritz you get what you pay for, the staff were friendly and helpful. I did have a problem with the Car Park payment machine as it would not accept my card very frustrating but staff helped me out . I cannot comment on the food as I didn`t eat there.
S. J.
Nice Travelodge. Friendly staff, quick check in and room spotless. Bus 373 and 374 stop right outside the hotel to Stratford, Canning Town, City Airport and to the Woolwich free ferry.
A. T.
For the price paid, 155 pounds for 5 nights, I think this is the best hotel that you can get.
You get to have a nice room, for 9.50£ you get breakfast as well. I’ve chosen to not have the breakfast as the hotel is very close to many restaurants. The only downside is that for the WiFi you need to pay 3£ for each 24 hours.
Easy commute to central London.
London City Airport is like just next door.
Within 5 minutes walk, each way, there are 2 DLR stops, Pontoon Dock and City Airport stations, both that can take you to central London in 25 minutes top or to the closest underground station, Canning Town, in 5 minutes.
J. D.
Great rooms, lovely staff really nice place to stay
M. P.
Please don't follow the postcode they send. And in Google it's wrong too. And Ayesha is amazing.after a couple of hours driving around realize it's the wrong postcode no number for the hotel.Well I guess that's administration
was search able
C. L.
Great hotel stayed here for a few weeks and never had a problem, staff was always happy to help especially Ayse on the front desk her customer service was always 10/10 your a credit to the hotel, thanks again.

Location
They lost my day 2 test! The room was large but very dated and with a patchy and faded carpet.
D. M.
Currently on a two night stay at this hotel. It is what you have come to expect from a Travelodge, simple accommodation with all the basic amenities. However my room is clean and presentable, the staff team are polite and have a good knowledge of the local area & various transport links. I can't justify giving 5*'s in this review, my room is opposite the DLR railway line and I hear a train pass every five minutes or so. It is quite loud and somewhat annoying.
s. j.
Nice Travelodge. Friendly staff and quick check in. 473 stops right outside the hotel to Stratford, City Airport and North Woolwich for free ferry to Woolwich.
J. T.
V good value, good bed shower room, ok breakfast. Noisy with planes from City Airport but didn't stop us sleeping.
j. p.
Nice hotel. Very comfortable and good value
N. P.
Great night's stay, before morning flight out from London City Airport.
So close, I could see the runway from my room.
S. H.
The staff were fantastic. Breakfast was excellent.
t. c.
The hotel was already good value for money, but we got upgraded to super for free which was a nice bonus. The food is really cheap a main or side/desert for £12, unlimited breakfast is either 9 or 6 depending on what you eat. All the food is delicious. The rooms are clean and provided with hair dryers and ironing equipment. Staff are very friendly. Loved my stay ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
K. A.
the place is nice and clean.but we have to pay £8 for the parking .want go again .
D. H.
Not bad for the price. Booked a double room, plenty of space to move around. Basic amentities provided, but better to bring your own soap (theirs smells bit unpleasant).
Walls don't seem to be sound-proof as you could clearly hear footsteps in the halls and the night activities in the airport's jet center.
Unlimited breakfast can be bought separately, but don't expect much quality.
d. j.
Usual travelodge but the lady on reception is an asset , very friendly and helpful
D. W.
The staff here went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The place is clean, the breakfast was hearty and the beds are probably the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel.
L. L.
Sharon made my short stay amazing. She was so incredibly friendly and full of life. She helped me out with no hesitation and gave me plenty of information regarding bus times. Genuinely a wonderful person
S. D.
Great hotel when you are due to fly out early morning the following morning.
Beds are comfy and rooms usually have a TV.
Most rooms have a bath tub.
Only thing is some carpets stains need to be removed or carpets replaced. Makes it look tacky to be honest.
Parking is £1 hour and company charges p. 20p fee
A. B.
Based on a one night stay, I don't understand why parking is not free, not overly expensive for 24 hours, but as the parking seems to be purely for the hotel, I can't justify the means, personally that is.
Everything was generally okay, not good, or great, but not bad either. Nothing stood out, in a good or bad sense, and it won't put me of staying again, given the choice.
At check in, the receptionist was nice, and friendly, but his shirt was not ironed. Coming from a customer service background, this is not a very professional look, but that didn't take away from the service received, which was ok.
The rooms were a good size, with spare pillows available. A decent heater, and a fan if required, which was a nice touch. Everything looked clean, so no complaints, but for whatever reason trying to sleep was a big problem, I just couldn't get comfortable, I'm not blaming the hotel, because maybe it's what I'm use to in terms of my own sleeping arrangements. Walls are pretty thin, but that wouldn't stop me from getting sleep.
Food was ok, not sure how it's cooked but had a strange taste to it. Its edible, but nothing to shout about. This is based on eating the burger and chips.
J. C.
Okay hotel near City Airport, needs a good lick of paint, it's a bit run down. OK rooms with good beds that's about it. Rooms could be cleaned better also. The general area is very light on restaurants and shops. Noise from the DLR and planes coming and going, did not worry me, but it will some light sleepers
J. T.
Lovely and very helpful staff (especially Vee). The rooms are also well presented and clean!
G. H.
Robel the Manager was extremely professional and friendly this immediately creates a great impression. Rooms are quiet considering it's directly opposite the airport runway. We were upgraded and loved the room. Well done Travelodge!
N. A.
We had a nice experience at travelogue London City Airport. It accessible nice and simple. There was a lady receptionist who was rough (not rude but far from being gentle and kind). The room was not cleaned after the first night. And there was an empty can of a fizzy drink under the bed left over from a previous customer.
A. B.
So close to the airport. It's a very handy spot to stay in. Very helpful staff were on hand to help when I had a vending machine issue, which is not something you would expect. I would return to this hotel on my next trip. The only issue I had was the coffee machines were not working at breakfast, apart from that it was a good stay
S. P.
Adequate hotel, as expected for its budget nature. Room cleaning was light to nonexistent on the night I stayed - the bed was made but that really seemed to be all. Perhaps more would have been done had it been a longer stay. The room was very warm with no option to control temperature other than upwards by turning on a radiator or downwards by opening a window. So I opened the window. Which is fine if your hotel doesn't happen to be at the threshold of the runway of an international airport and located between two railway lines. I'm not really bothered about noise like that so it was no problem, but others would be. All in all a tolerable hotel for the price, generally clean, staff friendly and helpful and comfortable enough. Just a couple of niggles.
C. L.
Just an average business hotel but good value for money. My view was out the back over the DLR, cranes and urban mess (the first plane out of London City Airport woke me at 7 as well) - what was I expecting for £65!? The staff on the flip side were friendly and professional.
L. S.
The hotel is within a 10min walk of City Airport. Rooms are basic, but clean, with a kinaize bed and coffee making facilities, a TV and a fan. We arrived on a cold day, and the storage heater took. Some time to warm up the room. The bathroom was basic, but again clean. The fixtures of the restaurant were a little tired, but staff were attentive, and helpful and sorted a dietary requirement very quickly over breakfast.
A. B.
The room was clean and had everything required for our stay. It took a while for our travel cot to arrive but was fine once we had it. Most staff were very friendly. For a budget hotel I found the experience satisfactory. The bed was comfortable and I found the bathroom was of a good size. The hotel was nice and quiet at night. We had breakfast in the morning and I enjoyed this. Overall I thought our experience was good, though I did notice one member of staff was rude to customers and sometimes I felt the staff that were there, particularly reception staff seemed to have too many responsibilities so they could not always handle customers quickly.
B. S.
Room was good, hotel really nice, staff friendly. Issue with food first people to order on Friday night, placed order fine. Young lady came out and said sorry we have run out of rice for the curry would you like chips. 1 min later came back no gravy for the pie. Had mains then no crumble pie. So a bit of a let down with food.
W. M.
Good hotel for the airport or excel. Probably a bit to far from the o2 if you wanted to walk it. The bus stop outside takes you to canning station and you can get the jubilee line one stop from there to the o2. Room 111 was spacious and didn’t hear and noise. Can hear planes taking off but the finishes at 10pm. Carpets could do with changing as there’s stains everywhere on floor one.
A. r. A.
Food was ok rooms were still ok but they didn't really tell us how big the rooms were but over all it was ok
B. H.
Cheap airport hotel. But the basics were there and the bed was fine. Left too early for breakfast so can't comment on that. It's about a 10 minute walk to LCY airport. No hassles on check-in and no one was manning the desk when I left the key card.
A. W.
Simple but clean room. A lot of space and everything what you need is there. This is not Hilton but its safe and clean.
Food is great! I had vegetable pizza thinking that this will be a defrosted stuff but no, fresh ingredients & very tasty.
As an overall, i enjoyed stay there. Staff is great BTW :)
O. O.
Short of staff but my family enjoyed there stay

Me and my girlfriend booked an accommodation at Travellodge London City Airport. First impression was amazing. The personnel was very welcoming. We were able to leave our luggage behind before check-in time, giving us time to discover London without struggling with luggage. After coming back from our day in the city center, we were welcomed again with a big smile by mr. Lee, who made us laugh and helped us having an incredible stay! As for the rooms, they were spacious, clean and modern. Though it is a bit far from the center, I would say it is worth it, considering that the price is cheaper than many other accommodations! Would definitely recommend this hotel with an 5 star customer service! You will see us again!
P. B.
I stayed here quite sometime ago now. I must say by far one of the best Travelodge to stay in! Lovely view of the planes taking off from London City Airport. Was very clean and tidy! No noise whatsoever only the planes coming & going which is not bad and no noise from other people. Also had the best Chinese Takeaway from a nearby restaurant, bloody lovely! Would 100% recommend it!
R. P.
It was a great stay at this hotel over a weekend with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently placed opposite the city airport with a large car park (does not belong to the hotel) and a bus stop right outside the gates for buses to central London and railway stations. The room was clean and spacious with great TV channels in HD quality. The bathroom was slightly old fashioned, but was functional with sufficient amount of bath and hand towels. The breakfast was brilliant and delicious and was almost as good as the breakfast you get in Holiday Inn Express (since they are direct competitors). But all of this for a bargain price, I would definitely recommend this to anyone having a short stay in London.
R. C.
Bed not comfortable and only 30 minutes free WiFi. Very nice breakfast and good customer service.
T. B.
I stayed whilst I exhibited at Excel because it's only a short walk.
The room was comfortable. Nice mattress and firm pillows. It's also quiet. I was worried I would hear the planes from city airport but it's well sound proofed.
Staff were helpful and friendly and the food is good.
Will stay again!
D. J.
Great location as it was only a 10 minute walk to the exhibition centre. Comfy beds, spacious rooms. WiFi was INCREDIBLY slow as the hotel was fully booked and everyone was trying to get online. Vending machine ran out of drinks and wouldn't get restocked over the weekend and soft drinks from the bar were overpriced. Suffers the same problem as most hotels in that it doesn't have plug sockets near the bed for charging phones
C.
A good place to stay depending on individual requirements. It is very close to the London City Airport, overhead rail tracks, and busy roads, so noise might be an issue. There are stains on the carpets both in the room and corridor (depending on room/floor) which might not be pleasant to all. Also, the shower curtain wasn't that clean especially at the lower part of it. However, the room is large and ensuite. Their staff are friendly and has a good customer service attitude. Overall, it boils down to individual needs and budget.
S. S.
Have just returned home from a night's stay at this hotel. My friend and I were so pleasantly surprised by how great it was. Nice clean room, comfortable bed and great breakfast. What made the stay very special was how amazing, friendly and helpful all the staff were - I have not had such consistent great customer service for a long time. Thank you for making our stay really pleasurable.
R. W.
Stayed at the Travelodge as I had an early flight from London City.
The Hotel is the closest to the Airport. It is only one stop on the bus.
The room I had was nice and spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. As well as that you could actually open the window so you can get a PROPER night's sleep.
I had a meal in the evening and the food was delicious.
I will think of staying there again.
J. M.
The staff at this particular Travelodfe are super friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate people. We had a five star stay mainly due to the super friendly staff. If you need to stay overnight to catch a flight, this is the place to stay. No request is too big or too small to fulfill. I commend the management for training their staff in excellent customer services skills. A lot of companies can learn from Travelodfe at London City Airport.
J. C.
Excellent hotel. I have stayed in numerous Travelodge's over the 25 years of my work and Carol who was a breakfast waitress is by far the most friendly and professional member of staff that I have ever come across. All credit to her who is an excellent ambassador for Travelodge.
A. S.
Very convenient location for Excel and City Airport. We had a comfortable night's stay and have no complaints. I'd say the place needs a little bit of a spruce up and it's not very attractive seeing all the ironing boards behind the reception area. Staff were friendly and help for the most part and there is a good selection of food for breakfast and dinner. :)
J. B.
We came here for a weekend break and the service was great when we check in they told us where everything around us was. In the morning we went for the breakfast and the food was fresh and nice. The rooms were very clean. I would recommend this to others, but be aware that it is quite a long walk to the airport, especially if you have a lot of luggage.
D. P.
Friendly welcome from receptionist who even offered travel advice to the event we were attending. 24 hour food and drink was a brilliant service for returning to the Travelodge after a late finish event. Twin bed could have been more comfortable but double looked good. Clean and tidy room. A very practical (DLR 10 min walk away) and value for money lodge for a short stay in London.
S. B.
The room was huge and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Always a merry vibe. Very close to both the bus and the tube. My only complaint was that the soap smelled really, really bad, so I had to buy my own.
B. B.
Clean decent hotel. Has own bar and food. plenty No plugs near bed to charge phone. Can't leave Windows open over night if you want to sleep past 7 in morning as right on end of runway.
Having stayed a few times, ive discovered rooms on the top floor have baths with shower where as lower rooms only have shower.
G. m.
Definitely worth going for the room upgrade
D. N.
Room clean but basic. Tea, kettle and coffee making facilities. Good quality beds. Pot luck on neighbours as the hallways can be noisy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking extra but reasonable at eight pounds for 24 hrs.
P. P.
A great stay as normal but I was a little concerned after returning to my room after a day out and it was left open after the housekeeping team had cleaned. Valuables were on display as well. Thankfully everything was still there but there was no one on the desk to speak to when we went out again, or when we checked out so couldn't tell the relevant people.
P. N.
Very basic hotel that lives from airport and events. Breakfast is very simple and not many options to choose. Be aware that if you want your room to be tidied you need to let the hotel know when you leave your room.
W. m.
Considering location reasonably quiet.
staff friendly, all good.
S. S.
Super rooms are well worth the extra tenner! Very convenient for the Excel, right next to London City Airport. Good bus service right outside the main car park entrance. Decent parking charges. Kerry the manager is so supportive of her staff and together they provide a very welcoming atmosphere! The bar and restaurant areas are popular with guests and everyone is made to feel welcome ❣️ One of the best Travelodges I’ve ever been too! Definitely staying there again when in London 😁🏨
R. D.
Location is great u have bus and tube stops in walking distance.
Hotel staff where very friendly and approachable. Our room was clean and ready for us with 3 tired children was much appriachated.
Breakfast was great in the morning filling us up for a busy day.
We couldn't find any faults with the hotel
V. P.
The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was facing the rear if the hotel that attracted noise from the DLR line and planes.
The parking is pay and display that costs £8 for 24 hours. The payment machine is in reception and accepts card/contactless.
The nearest station is the DLR Plontoon Dock that's a 10min walk.
G. W.
So there was nothing wrong with check in and the room, you'll be able to sleep however:
When leaving the hotel and trying to re enter your card key can be temperamental which can be very annoying.
Bed is squeaky.
You can often hear doors slamming as and when people are leaving the floor.
There was only one lift working which meant we went on every floor that required the lift (up and down) prior to getting out.
No ceiling fan or air con unit. They do provide you with a standard fan which you can plug in and use.
This all being said, for £54 it was the cheapest available and we only required for 9 hours. If you want somewhere cheap and cheerful. This is okay. If you want to relax, go somewhere else.
K. G.
Stayed here because Travelodge ExCeL had overbooked so we ended up being moved here. This was very frustrating. However, our stay was very pleasant and the reception staff were helpful and apologetic. The room was as expected and clean and tidy. We stayed for breakfast in the morning and the full breakfast was good. Staff could have paid more attention to the availability of mugs/teaspoons at the breakfast counter, but this was just a minor issue. Paid £3 for wifi service, which worked very well. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience here, despite the fact that I never intended to stay here!
D. C.
The rooms are large and comfortable, the whole place is clean and tidy and the staff are helpful. It can be easily reached by the DLR and there is a bus stop just off the car park. It is practically in the airport but there is NO, I repeat NO plane noise. I would have had a hard time believing it but I have stayed here several times in different rooms and it is true.
L. Q.
Comfortable rooms, god service and nice staff! The only issue I had was that after using the hotel WIFI that we paid for, we noticed weird log-in locations on both our instagram and facebook accounts and after returning to our homecountry one of us even lost access to their instagram account for a while. The only new WIFI we connected to through the whole trip was the hotel WIFI, so that's a bit unsetteling.

First time in a Travelodge.
Staying in a "Super Room" but it still feels kind of spartan.
Clean and comfortable with a fair amount of space but pretty basic. Only toiletries are a combined shower gel and shampoo. There should be hand wash but the dispenser is empty. Toilet paper cheap and nasty. Sound proofing not very good. Mugs but no glasses or plastic cups for water for soft drinks. The towels contain RFD chips to stop you stealing them! Lol.
Other guests are quiet and considerate luckily, but a lot of noise from the airport.
No staff at check in when I arrived at 3.30 pm. Had to ring a bell and wait a few minutes for someone to check me in.
A couple of nice touches, a decent coffee machine and a couple of small kit kats. Four USB charging points, two each side of the bed.
Very poor mobile signal on both EE and 3 resulting in very very slow internet on my phone. Hotel incudes only 30 minutes of free Internet or £3 for 24 hours.
Nearest hotel to LCY currently, and would use it again, but only if it was substantially cheaper than The Moxy. There are much better hotels nearer the Excel centre, but prices depend on whether or not there is an event on there.
If staying here, use DLR London City and not Pontoon Dock. Either is a 10 minute walk away, but Pontoon Dock involves crossing a couple of really busy roads with no Ped Xings.
B. F.
Typical Travelodge, don’t expect anything else! Place is perfectly clean, but in need of some investment and an update to room amenities which it probably won’t get due to the popularity.
Shocked to find that Travelodge are still charging for WiFi in hotels where it’s more than £130 a night... Only 30 minutes free and poor mobile reception.
M. F.
Great location for City Airport and the Super Rooms are excellent!!
L. D.
Good room, noisy but expected that being near airport so bought ear plugs, non movable shower head, poor water pressure, like showering under a drip, no plug sockets by bed to charge phone, what's with that? Breakfast toaster would only give warm bread, plus side, comfy bed and helpful staff, this place would benefit from a refurbishment.
R. C.
We have just had a fab little weekend break here! Rooms were clean, staff very helpful and friendly and lovely little touch in the luxury rooms were the kitkats the children thought they’d won the lottery :) Will definitely be booking here again!
H. G.
Not a bad travelogue, the super rooms aren’t really that special so just stick with the ordinary ones.
The hotels about 8mins from the nearest DLR station which is at the airport.
Just make sure you don’t open the window it’s very close to the end of the runway so you hear the planes taking off and landing early in the morning.
T. A.
An ok place to stay if you have to stay in this area.
I have stayed twice in two weeks the first time in a premium room which was very nice and once in a standard room.
My standard room was clean but smelled of drains and the bathroom could do with a deep clean to get grime out of the cracks.
Staff are friendly and there is a restaurant that serves ok food.
T. S.
I think this is a very decent Travelodge. Staff are really nice, coffee for guests as much as you like, clean rooms and walking distance to City Airport.
Would reccomended to anyone who needs a comfortable bed without any frills.
r. N.
We had the super family room. The kids loved it. It was spacious. It had the right number of pillows. It was very welcoming n relaxing. Tge catering staffs were really good as well.
G. D.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfy. The room was warm and a good size. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou to all that made our stay so welcoming.
p. m.
Room was clean and tidy, and quite a good size. Breakfast was adequate. We had a problem one evening of having no water on the 5th floor, staff were apologetic and water was restored after a couple of hours.
M. l.
Rooms were awesome, but v. Noise next to airport - needs Earplugs. disabled alarm/fire alarm mistake cost me half a nights sleep, and no options for dinner except terrible pizza. Would stay again anyway
s. m.
Great hotel and the staff were brilliant especially Thomas!

Standard Travel Lodge. Customer service was good, although there was only one woman on who wouldn't leave the desk to serve people at the bar even when empty. Room was fine, except the bathroom was very grubby on shelf/around edge of bath.
D. K.
Decent hotel although parking cost's £8.50 and restaurant closes at 8pm
B. M.
Lovely hotel, not my first time here, would suggest to anyone going to an event nearby or visiting someone. Breakfast is usually very good, dinner is so so but it's hotel not a restaurant so it's acceptable. Rooms are very spacious, beds comfy and staff are lovely. Very nice hotel all round.
k. h.
It was okay. As a housekeeper I know what to look for. The cleaning was okay. They forgot to give us a bathmat. The bed was made the wrong way (the duvet was sideways) and the second day they gave us a bathmat but forgot to give us a second towel. Other than that. It was okay. Could be better
T. L.
Room clean and front of house staff happy and helpful. Restaurant, other than the mediocre breakfast, the evening food options were 'warm-up' type food and the quarter pound burger was equal to Iceland/Birdseye quality. Certainly wouldn't eat here again but overall ok.
D. W.
Very very pleased the staff could not do enough for me i have trouble walking and they made sure i had a room next to the lift
The breakfast was the best i have ever had in a hotel. Although the hotel is next to the airport this was not a problem as there is double and secondarily glazing so i could not hear the planes and slept like a log
M. L. (.
Nice hotel and really friendly staff. The bed was super comfy. The only problem was the room temperature. Don´t stay here during the summer period. The room was boiling hot and no airco. And... as the room is next to a train line and an airport you get the picture. So, when back during the cool period of the year, I will gladly stay here again.
S. H.
7 minutes walk to London City Airport, so nice and close. Rooms are standard size and comfortable. Bar is ok with basic food and drink at fair prices. My biggest grumble is the TV's are configured to not allow sleep timer.
L. K.
Hi. I stayed at this place for the Maiden concert at the O2 place up the road and round the corner etc. It was a laugh because there were people dressed up as monsters for some sort of shindig at the excel place (building, not spreadsheet). I'm not a big fan of travel lodge but this one was pretty decent. 24 hour bar was good and George seemed to know a little bit about what he was going on about, but don't ask him where the ice comes from as he's not 100 percent on that. The bed was nice and comfy. This place would be handy if you're flying from city airport next door. Or flying to it for that matter.
F. L. F.
It does the job but that's about it. My room was clean but the hotel felt pretty old. Also, the hotel didn't have AC meaning that I had to keep the window open... which.. is pretty loud when you are next to an airport.
On a plus side, the staff was very friendly.
L. M.
What a lovely inn or should I say hotel. It is clean, the beds are comfortable. Good value for money. Staff are super friendly. 5 stars for you. Next time I shall try their breakfast. Oh I forgot the city centre of London is only 50 minutes away from this inn
L. F.
Charmaine is absolutely brilliant, welcoming, helpful and efficient and deserves to be recognised. The Travelodge is very convenient, to be honest we got Ubers into the West End which were cheaper than buying travelcards for 4 of us. The hotel is clean, breakfast was tasty and good value and rooms are bright. Happy campers, thanks
A. L.
Very convenient location, within 10 min walk to the terminal and the DLR station.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, and breakfast is good. The windows provide good sound insulation, at least in the rooms on the side of the car park - don’t know how it will s for the rooms on the side of the DLR tracks.
Great value for money. Will use again if require an overnight stay near LCY
L. O.
We had a lovely time here.we enjoyed our 5days stay. My family loved the place, clean n comfortable environment. Tasty food, wifi is free for 30mins then you pay to have more. Very close to London city airport and bus station is nearby to access the city. Lovly friendly staff to attend to you even as we checked in late 2am in the morning. Worth every bit of it. Not expensive. Family friendly. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
M. A.
Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and upgraded our room for free. Our stay was soo good in fact that we book the next two nights too.
S. M.
Hot and stuffy, uncomfortable sleeping despite the provision of a fan. Bed was comfy but just the temp of the room. Unable to open the window as the noise from aircraft and train as shown make it impossible to sleep . Not the best Travelodge hotel or room I stayed at. Breakfast was a little disappointing as not the usual vegetarian option.
M. B.
The location for the airport, buses and DLR train is excellent. A 20 minute DLR ride into London and easy links into London underground services. Family room was clean on arrival and the room was quiet despite being next to the airport. Service and breakfast was good. Parking is available at a cost of £8 per 24 hours.
V. M.
Free breakfast and the staff was awesome rooms where tidy and ready for relaxation, got to take one star off because of location.
Next to airports runway, if it's hot inside and you want to get some fresh air in better get use to friendly jet engine sounds.
K. E.
Great location for london city airport and excel, not far from O2 and central London, staff very helpful breakfast fab and parking on site.
Shower was very powerful room was clean and valve for money enjoyed my stay.
I. O.
Family friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to rest of London.
DLR is close by. Don't miss a visit to the Woolwich Ferry and the Thames Barrier park both of which are a decent walk away from this hotel. Only downside was that food could sometimes take a long time to come out when we ordered. Having said that the staff were really great and made the stay really good. Would definitely come back.
M. W. A.
Nice and cosy place, planes do trouble you a bit with their sounds in the afternoon.
m. t.
The location is very near to the excel london conference centre, excellent for business trips. The room is cosy and clean. Like the fully cushioned chairs and big flat screen tv that can swivel. The staff are friendly and provide good service and tips. The cafe is great with free flow drinks. The breakfast buffet spread is a lovely way to start a cold winter morning. Check out is swift.
N. R.
Room was much quieter than expected overnight, given the location. Very comfortable and everything as expected from a Travelodge. Breakfast was great and the staff were all very friendly. Would happily stress you there again.
S. J.
Very nice room, slightly delayed as there was no room ready at my early check in time but very welcoming at reception by Tu which made up for it completely, fantastic stay and fantastic staff!
K. A.
This was our first stay with travelogue and we have stayed and travelled many countries stayed in expensive hotels but we were very surprised how clean secure and well located to London city Airport and how convenient it was to go in and out of the city centre and attractions. Staff very welcoming and friendly service was excellent 👍
E. S.
Just a short bus ride to the DLR, from there you can get to the underground and anywhere in London. A nice, quiet hotel with friendly staff, good breakfasts, and nice rooms. Plenty of on site parking, good proximity to the airport. There are no late night flights, so sleep is undisturbed.
A. M.
Not a bad hotel as far as Travelodge goes. Doesn't seem to be subject to surge pricing when there's something on at the ExCeL like the other nearby hotels are, and is only a ~10 minute walk away.
While the hotel is pretty much right on the airport, flights don't leave or arrive overnight so you're not kept awake by aircraft noise.
S. S.
Quite an experience. 10 mins walk (along very uneven pavements, ok in daylight?? in the dark!excellent staff, so pleasant and welcoming, hotel itself very tired and carpets quite stained in corridors, super rooms amazing. Disabled bathroom superb. Food poor but overall excellent
D.
Travelodge have long been overdue an overhaul, of not just their rooms but their company as a whole, and they seem to be slowly making changes. VERY slowly.
This particular Travelodge is one of the hotels that have seen the introduction of their attempt at competing with Premier Inn - SuperRooms. If ever you are offered the opportunity to stay in a Travelodge SuperRoom, take it! You won't be disappointed. It's a shame they haven't chosen to make this change in all of their rooms.
The SuperRoom I stayed in is modern, new, and comfortable, but as you would expect of a Travelodge, things are far from perfect, and this hotel is no exception. The problems I encountered seemed to be endless, however, the management team were always pleasant, quick to rectify the matter, and offered a satisfactory solution. I'd have rather not have the problems in the first place.
The public areas are tired (which is of no surprise), but once you're in your SuperRoom you can pretend that none of that exists - that's if you actually manage to get in your room due to the faulty keyless entry.
The location is ideal for anybody requiring a hotel close to the Excel or London City Airport. The downside to this means that the hotel can get very busy, and ordering food or drinks in the evening is a nightmare - do yourself a favour and order a takeaway.
A 3 out of 5 experience.
I. G.
A no frills hotel, within walking distance of London City Airport. Room was okay, although train did pass by regularly.
The food in the restaurant was okay. It tasted fine and was a good portion size, but it was nothing special.
Biggest disappointment was that there was no free Wi-Fi. Surely today free Wi-Fi is a basic requirement for a customer.
Good location and ideal for a short stopover
j. b.
Clean hotel, food good, staff helpful and friendly - nothing too much trouble. Within walking distance to Airport and DLR either airport station or Pontoon Dock. Thames barrier park within walking distance as is the Excel and Emirates Skyline. Great to watch planes come and go and triple glazing so it's not at all noisey.
K. B.
Clean, comfortable, quiet. Friendly staff.
The food however - dreadful!! Don't even think about ordering the vegan burger.
K. V.
very good place to stay, only problem we experienced was that there was no drinks in the vending machine so my friend had to spend almost £3 on a small Pepsi at the bar.
S. J.
Comfortable bed, quiet room, and helpful staff. Very impressed for the price, and really nice to have vegan breakfast options. Perfect location for London City Airport too.
D. M.
Ok price, next to airport. Nothing elese on walkibg distance. Bus stop just next to hotel. Stayed 13 days. Bed sheets changed 0 times. No air condition, just simple fan. Was on 5th floor, it was too bot all the time. Just across the street from the airport, so you can see and hear planes. On posotive side, sound isolation is good so you hear nothing when you close the windows. But, you get no fresh air either.
N. T.
Great value on a Sunday night. Rooms are a bit sparse and there is no air-conditioning. Didn't realise that you have to pay for parking until i'd arrived so factor that in of you plan to arrive by car.
G. W.
Cheap and tidy. It does what it says on the tin. The bed was very comfy for me and my partner. The bathroom needs an update. The breakfast was nice and the access to transport is perfect.
M. D.
I am happy to stay in this hotel, it is a clean, quiet and very pleasant hotel, the staff is very nice and kind, I want to thank to Mrs Vii from at the reception who helped me with my check in!!!! 😇🤗
A. P.
Had a fab stay here, upgraded to the new style room and it was well worth it, the decor is beautiful and the extra little touches are worth the extra money.
The reception staff where friendly and really helpful, especially giving directions
P. T.
One of the best sited hotels for local and international business and travel of the Travelodge group as it has easy access between north and south london via the woolwich ferry, reach the motorway network quickly and within 10 minutes walking you can be on the docklands light railway at three separate stations or entering London City airport to fly off to the rest of the world, usually well priced and very well placed for access to the Excel centre for shows and exhibitions.
R. G.
Location is good for the airport, not as close as it looks but under 10mins walk. Usual travelodge, basic but does the job very well for the price.
S. G.
Convenient location, bedrooms clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant service slow and staff not aware of special deals advertised in hotel leaflets. Cab service failed to arrive as booked, nobody around to help.
L. C.
Excellent rooms, very clean and a good size. Despite being very close to airport and train line was very quiet. Staff were amazing, very friendly
s. G.
I was really happy with the service I got whilst I stayed here.
I met some really nice people here including a really well mannered manager as I believe he's name was Mohammed.
I will definitely be staying here again.
Thank you for an amazing stay !!
M. K.
Comfy and clean. Parking was expensive but atlast they had it.
R. M.
Adequate, breakfast was good. Rooms were clean. Service was appalling as only one girl looking after reception and bar.
N. R.
Clean ,and good staff ,very close to the airport so was a bit noisy, just need to change the curtains was bright in the morning.
S. W.
Difficult to find but decent place to stay
M. H.
Great location, friendly staff. George was a laugh as was the assistant manager who had to look after the other travel lodge. Don't like the showers to be honest but other than that all is well. See you there maybe one time.
J. S.
Food was good but took a while to come. Staff were polite and place was clean. Friends stayed here and had a leaking toilet, they were moved straight away so good on that being to be done when the place was packed for a event weekend.
A. S.
Convenient when going 02. Not much around but does have shops 5 min walk away.
Hotel isn't anything special. Has coffee and tea with free reloads of teen sachets at reception.
W. K.
Couldn't have found a better location for the ExCel centre Discover Dogs event, with a hotel that takes dogs too! Usual Travelodge perfectly adequate and value. Restaurant/front of house, a bit disorganised but rectified mistakes so passable at the value level.
J. H. (.
Overbooked so didn't get 2 proper seperate beds. One of us on the aweful camp beds. The irons are also rubbish. However can't argue with the value for money. Staff are very friendly.
E. B.
Stayed in a family room. Room was quite hot but otherwise very average. No shower gel in the bathroom and the shower was a bit limp. Eveththing else does what it says on the tin. Nothing to shout about, but no real complaints either.
S. K.
I was really surprised by the coziness of the hotel.
The employees were very nice and helpful.
I was only there for a day, but I'd easily pick this hotel again. A very enjoyable stay.
M. L.
Staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough for you, first time to London and the lady on the front desk showed us how to save money on the tube by using the Pay as you go system and which busses and trains to get to get into the city centre and the hotel itself
E. P.
Staff were fantastic. Really friendly and extremely helpful. Amazing customer service. Food was over priced but not terrible. Good value for money all round.
O. I.
Hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were standard of what is expected from a Travelodge. Location of the hotel is slightly far out from the nearest DLR stations (London City Airport and Pontoon Dock)
C. T.
Fantastic staff - unfortunately pizza ordered in the evening was like a piece of rubber! Just don't bother ordering anything after hot meals finish. If arriving late at night, grab something on the way before arrival. #thankmelater 😏
B.
It's decent. Have to pay for parking which can be expensive if your car is parked here over multiple night. They have a 24hour bar, food wasn't the best.
J. W.
Get what you pay for its got everything ever other tlodge has...
A.
Not bad food but you have to pay £8 a day to park!. No aircon but watching the planes land is a bonus (if you get a room facing the airport)
B. B.
Does what it says, cheap, friendly, clean and comfy. Close to DLR and airport (4 min walk). Bus to Stratford stops just outside the hotel
P.
I love it and had fun their with my love. It was memorable. The room is on point, dope bed and very clean toilet😁
D. J.
Comfortable clean rooms for really affordable price.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Only downfalls is you have to pay for Wi-Fi and carpark.
p. h.
I've stayed there a few times. Five minutes walk from the docklands light railway, taking you into the heart of London. Easy to get to in a car and a few minutes from London city airport.
R. R.
i been here once in October 2017 for rtx london the staff are nice and polite. i be coming back in 12 days same event haha *if i arrive to the hotel early then 3 can i able to put my bag some where in the hotel or pay for a early booking?*
R. M.
hotel is good . Even though you are stones throw from the air port and can watch the plains come in from the bar. You can't hear any noise from the rooms.
K. F.
Rooms are a good size, clean, well stocked. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. 24hr bar which is nice.
D. J.
Nice hotel good staff and petty decent restaurant
D. J.
Its a nice clean hotel with pretty friendly staff
K.
It's okay but I would like it to be more creative, bigger and a bit more sanitised as when going into the bathroom I saw a stain on the curtains. If you could possibly resolve on of these points that I made it would not only do me good but for your business.Thank you for reading these and I hope you enjoy making your hotel a big success!
M. A.
Couldnt have asked for better customer service. The service we received from Thomas was impeccable who went out of his way to deliver. I'll never forget it. Thank you so much!! The couple who travelled up from Kent..
S. B.
Very nice hotel, right next to the airport for easy connections, nearby city airport and pontoon dock DLR stops. Planes can be loud although they stop flying by the time people are going bed
D. C.
Very nice room, comfy bed, staff were friendly and helpful when we needed it. Location was very close to DLR station so only needed to walk a little bit to get to it.
K. J.
Got a family room 4 one person last minute. £120. Clean room very powerful shower,no time 4 a breakfast.
S. L.
Very average. Rooms are small but comparison to premier inn and generally not so nice. Breakfast is good for got food but continental is lacking
D. A.
Comfortable Travelodge, no frills accommodation. No flights from LCY until midday on Sundays so Saturday evening through Sunday morning is unaffected by the noise
C. O.
Room excellent as always. Great for Èxcel not many eating places so you'll have to drive unless you eat in the hotel but I think the bar is 24 hr😁
A. A.
Great location. Nice staff. Take your own water though.
I. O.
Evriting good, but they not change bed. We stay for 2 days. Kids split golden syrup on bed and we sleep in sticky bed becose Rome service was not done
m. p.
A good place to stay a night
W. C.
Good service. Clean rooms. Very reasonably priced. Easy access to City airport. Some rooms are noisy because of the DLR.
T. A.
You know what to expect from a Travelodge. The rooms are the same the staff are always friendly.
This is no exception, although the front of house lady was extremely helpful.
J. D.
Stayed here as a group of us were attending the drake bmwt at the o2. The hotels what you would expect from a travelodge, however it does have a large car park for a change but its pay and display. We had to get an uber to the o2 which cost around £14. There's not a lot in terms of nearby shops or restaurants. For the purpose of visiting the o2 its ideal and at the time it was the cheapest out of the 3 travelodges nearby
j. c.
Have stayed many times but this hotel is looking a bit tired now... staff are friendly meals good and breakfast lovely
M. D.
Lovely clean hotel staff very warm and friendly and very helpful excellent location 10 min walkers city airport tube
Would definitely stay here again next tim I come to London
G. C.
Room fine nice and clean. Food was the only let down. Not the best for the price. Needs to be addressed.
G. H.
Next to airport which is useful. Rooms are clean. Can be noisy with the window open with airport at one side and DLR on other, although you only really hear then with the windows open.
A. H.
Stayed up there for London comic con, had a bit of an incident whilst drunk on the Sunday and the night receptionist Jasper I think his name was, was absolutely amazing, 10/10 would stay again, rooms were great, staff were wonderful c:
S. H.
Stayed here for 4 nights while at a conference in the Excel, great location and good comfy beds. Staff were great and the breakfast was good too!
J. H.
Comfortable rooms.great location .friendly staff.big breakfast good value.would recommend to everyone.bus stop outside front door to canning town and tube to all of london handy
K. B.
The hotel is a short walk from the airport and DLR so making it a great place to stay for a weekend in London or using the airport, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was very hot at night, although a fan is provided as opening the window can be rather loud
K. B.
Perfect for what we needed as had a triathlon at the excel center which is walking distance. Noisy at night and really close to the dlr railway who can see directly onto the room!
A. W.
Clean and tidy place to stay for a bargain price. If you need to get on the underground make sure you keep walking down the road until the front entrance is obvious. There's a turning beforehand which leads to nowhere!
G. A.
Nice and cheap stay. Decent and clean rooms. The food is not great so will suggest finding alternate options for lunch and dinner.
s. k.
Functional accommodation right by the airport. Staff were efficient and helpful, room was basic clean but comfortable, good value for money.
S. V.
Everything was completely perfect. Since we went in, we get help by Vee (Hotel assistant Manager) and Tu( Receptionist). ❤️ Very friendly stuff
M. H.
Quite noisy even with extra glazing
Unfortunately this means almost impossible to have windows open if you do you can’t hear yourself think bar drinks quite expensive around £5 for a flat pint of lager rising to £4 a bottle if you want it to taste as it should
Typical Travelodge menu burger or pizza salads are nothing special ok for overnight stays if it saves on travel time
C. K.
Service was very friendly. Walking distance to the airport. Rooms have no AC which was not so comfortable in high summer.
A. D.
Stayed in a lovely super room here, with the extra few pounds. Really enjoyed it, great location for walks. Highly recommended.
A. M. B.
Handy place to stay for LCY. Staff excellent, pleasant and helpful. Although sandwiched between DLR and the airport the soundproofing is great and I slept with the window open.
M. D.
It's comfortable for a night sleep. Only problem is that it is a walk from the airport along a road that isn't really designed for pedestrians.
M. S.
Nice enough place to stay. Rooms are not huge but ok for a short stay. All day free drinks from the lounge area. Small bar available.
K. Y.
I had a lovely stay and the staff were so friendly. They were dealing with a sensitive booking and exercised brilliant profesionalism
A.
Beds nice staff are nice apart from one who looked like she wanted to kill me every time but she still lovely good room cleaning the food tho awful for your money don't buy bathrooms ok aswell if food was a bit better would of given 4 star all that's holding it back
K. J.
Not got a bad word to say about this Hotel, nice rooms, staff very helpful but one thing I would like to see room's that has a fridge in.
R. B.
We had a really nice stay in the “new” super room, clean and big rooms. Staff was super friendly.
C. N.
Whilst the room itself was fine and comfortable, the service from the restaurant was the worst I've experienced for a hotel, with meals either being exceedingly late, or courses being served simultaneously
S. R.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Overall a very pleasant experience. Good value for money.
L. L.
An alternative and much cheaper place to park your car when you visit London city airport. But you need pay by phone if you only wanna stay for several hours.
M. C.
Quite a pleasent experience. Clean rooms, very professional staff, in particular JASPER, who moved tooth and nail to resolve a problem pertaining to parking.
B. D.
Clean rooms, very helpful staff. Choice of food available. City airport just 10 min walk away.
A. M.
The rooms are nice and come with a fan (which is needed in the hot weather). The food is denecnt for the price. And the staff is always nice and polite.
R. Q.
Fantastic bargain break basic but clean and tidy and very close to City Airport
S. R.
Friedly staff.
Amazing place and huge bed.
Clean and tidy room
Some choclate on table for extra nuce touch.
Enjoyed the night and will return
K. B.
Perfect for what we needed as had a triathlon at the excel center which is walking distance. Noisy at night and really close to the dlr railway who can see directly onto the room!
K. J.
Not got a bad word to say about this Hotel, nice rooms, staff very helpful but one thing I would like to see room's that has a fridge in.
L. L.
Good service, clean rooms, food and alcohol onsite. 10 min walk to airport and near public transportation.
p. m.
Clean & Tidy, comfortable bed, value for money.
Polite and helpful staff.
G. H.
Next to airport which is useful. Rooms are clean. Can be noisy with the window open with airport at one side and DLR on other, although you only really hear then with the windows open.
O. F.
The room was pretty dated, but plenty of breakfast.
J. H.
It is a Travelodge so you can guarantee that it will be clean and comfortable. Airport noise and train noise non-existent. It was fine...
P. R.
Great stay this time staff are realy nice very helpful. I am a regular stayer at this hotel and am very pleased with the service that why I keep coming back thank you Paul Ridden
S. B.
Very helpful staff, didn't have the breakfast but it did look nice, clean rooms, comfy bed.
J. H.
Good location if visiting airport or ExCel, just a basic travel lodge, not super clean but as clean as can be considering the volume of people going through.
S. I.
Great service, very friendly and helpful. Makes us feel very welcome.
W. M.
Room was comfortable and staff were nice. Usual amounts of noise from airport traffic but Dlr train noise was noticable at times
J. D.
Helpful staff, cafe and bar area where you can get cold water, ice, coffee etc. Bit noisy with all the planes but only during the day. Would stay again
P. M.
Usual travelodge, rooms and public areas not as clean as others. Location good. Price excellent.
V. L.
Quite a trek to the aiport/DLR, but otherwise it is a standard travelodge hotel. Clean, sizeable room. Nothing fancy. Overall good.
C. F.
Just an amazing room for a great price. Staff were fantastic at keeping me and my friends happy the whole time
F. B.
Very good hotel, helpful and friendly staff
S. M.
Stayed at this hotel with a friend on a business trip. Found it ideal. Clean rooms, with nice staff.
m. c.
Excellent travelodge. Best service ever experienced at this hotel chain. All staff very friendly and helpful.
n. m.
Excellent facilities excellent staff. Was surprised bring so close to airport that we the noise levels were low
A. H.
Smaller bathroom compared to most travelodges I've stayed in but staff are super helpful and are available all the time.
F.
Had to pay £15 for parking which I don't remember been advertised during booking but was expected. Staff amazingly friendly would definitely go again
S. D.
Must make sure that I don't get a room at the back of the hotel, Dockland light railway got a bit noisy, had to keep the window shut all the time, OK otherwise.
S. N.
Good location, very basic and tired room, basic food just about adequate, friendly staff, ok for an early flight.
R. F.
Really clean and staff were very friendly. If we go back to the Excel I would stay there again.
C. B.
Basic, clean accommodation near city airport. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
A. C.
Good value for the business. You can walk to London city Airport in 8 minutes if you fly or, for example, in the morning.
S. E.
Nice hotel with good beds and enough space , well situated to EXCEL, VERY nice and curteos staff !!
Good price for business trips.
A.
No AC, charged car park
t. P.
I have just stayed at the London city airport travel lodge at the weekend and can only say the air was great clean and lovely room great food and also great staff a little out the way but worth the travel across London to get there , for me will definitely go back again
L. L.
Good service, clean rooms, food and alcohol onsite. 10 min walk to airport and near public transportation.
M. K.
Nice place .. staff are nice ...parking is £8.00 a day .. but hard to find oarking space ..better stay on 5th floor ..much nicer.
M.
great hotel to live, clean and close to Heathrow airport. It was coparatively cheap from other hotels.
P. S.
Easy on site parking, friendly check in. Room was very clean.
G. B.
Basic, as expected. But friendly staff and comfy bed for the night. WiFi signal was terrible however and no phone signal at all!
R. J.
Lots of airport noise and trains. Meals are not great for the money. Accommodation, staff etc upto Travelodge standard.
B. H.
Stopped at London City Airport Travelodge, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating for our family, the family room was really nice as well!
J. R.
Rooms were clean and well furnished. Would much rather stay across the dock at Excel travel lodge.
A. M.
Convenient clean comfy beds, parking in front of travelodge £8 for the night , 5mins by car to airport
C.
Loved my stay here. The staff was nice and welcoming and the room was nice.
z. P.
Good room,it was a super room ,well worth the extra money.excellent shower super clean
V. T.
Handy location for the airport although not that easy to find and the walk is unappealing in the dark. Room was perfectly fine.
D. B.
Nice place to stay for a few days when you find some cheap offer around 50€/night.
C. K.
Wasn't as clean as I had expected. Human hair on bathroom sink and no free Wi-Fi just 30mins
k. F.
Easy to book, was unexpected stay, friendly staff, very clean, comfy bed and refreshing powerful shower
s. l.
Very comfy. Had evening meal which was nice but my burger was slightly overcooked. Would still recommend.
B. B.
Fantastic value for money, room was spacious and despite being next to DLR and the airport, noise was not an issue.
C. h.
Knocked a star off because of the paid parking, its London I know. But otherwise this hotel is totally adequate for a good nights stay.
A. /. A. G.
Convenient hotel within walking distance of London City Airport. A tired hotel in great need of refurbishment.
S. W.
Great place, good value for money, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and excellent Buffett breakfast
L. F.
Decent food, good prices, a nice restaurant nearby the airport. Would recommend it if you stay nearby :)
S. M.
Nice staff, quiet place, plenty parking. Clean and great for what I paid
M. F.

Confusing with the Travelodge Excel. Basic rooms. You get what you pay. Next to the DLR and motorway, closed windows recommended.

Not bad, room was a little warm but I had a portable fan in my room which was very welcome.
