There’s instant and capsules of coffee and tea everyday. Also the hotel is pet friendly so we could stay with our kitten. Unfortunately the cleaning staff doesn’t change the bedsheets. They can give you a new ones but won’t change it and except that you ask for it they don’t clean the room.
Roxy (from the cleaning staff) is absolutely wonderful. She is kind and helpful

room was warm, comfy and clean. staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. the breakfast and evening meal were lovely and a great price. a big shout to fatme, she went all out to make our dining fab.

Rooms were very comfy and warm (BE CAREFUL WITH THE SHOWER THO (i nearly burn my scalp and i couldn’t find a way to get the water to a lukewarm temperature) however if you’re coming after a long cold day, very much needed the hot water!). The staff was lovely and very helpful. The location is fairly good (you can take a bus or walk to a near underground station- however that’s at least a 20 mins walk), but the prices were good.
Would recommend to a fellow traveler :)

A great hotel close to public transport, and within walking distance of kings cross station and st Pancras station. A 5 min walk to the British museum and a 20 min walk to the Thames river. Great rooms and amenities. The bar and restaurant downstairs is reasonably priced and great quality and healthy foods. Behind the hotel is a lovely quiet and secluded park, great for some time away from the huddle and bustle. The hotel is quiet at night so you will get a great nights sleep. Worth checking in to this hotel.

You have to give this central London hotel five stars for value for money and location. On our dates a hostel would have been more expensive! With Travelodge most locations are fairly uniform so you know what to expect when you get there if you have stayed before. Clean, safe, functional no frills rooms.
Farringdon Travelodge is really central for sightseeing, restaurants and near stations and bus stops. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

With a straightforward booking system and several location to choose from around central london . It became an convinient solution for a sleep over whenever in town for working duties ( specially over the wwkends) , when the train service are reduced. Room are clean , with modern decor and amenities that facilitates the modern commuter either on business or leisure. So TV , wifi and USB plugs helps us to set ourselves comfortabley, a little kettle and coffee machine handy to that hot drink to unwind or wake us up ready to get on with our day. WIFI are complimentary for the first 30minuts which is
not enough; specially when try to do some work on PC/mobile or entertaining; we can not rely on its speed , privacy & security and annoying parental control to spoil the fun .

Accommodation/room was nice, staff were friendly, unfortunately spoilt by lack of plates/food at breakfast- and no-one around to speak to about it (made worse by the fact that we had pre-paid!) Would recommend for overnight stays, but would eat breakfast elsewhere

Delicious food in the bar cafe! This burger and onion rings was delicious. The stay in the hotel was fantastic as well. Exquisite, high quality yet excellent value hotel in central London - a stone's throw from St Pancras for the Eurostar. Totally recommend!

Not all staff trained, but, seriously attentive, smiling, friendly, very clean, and nothing too much to do to give great experience, that said we were short on tea, coffee, etc, not topped up during the day. But a very small price, a little like the rooms. And bathrooms need a little more attention to detail cleaning. Only sleeping in room so ok .....

Travelodge can often be a bit of a lottery as to whether it's a average, or great hotel. Luckily, this one was the latter; tidy room with air conditioning. Staff were friendly, and the bar was a nice bonus. One star removed for the awful shower head; I could only imagine it was some sort of water saving device, as it only delivered a fine mist (much as I tried to make it do something else). Was fine for me, though my wife couldn't wash her hair with it.

Best Travelodge i have stayed in. Joseph and Nathaniel provided exceptional customer service. Over and beyond. I needed to prayer just after checkout, Joseph said it was ok to prayer in a quiet area, i was extremely touched by this kind gesture, another example of inclusion.. Thank you joseph and Nathaniel for making my stay at your travel lodge lovely.

Good value. A little tired but more than does the job for work stays. Some rooms can hear the tub beneath. Always friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Extremely helpful polite and friendly staff. Clean rooms and corridors etc. Very busy hotel.

Staff were great, just not enough of them.
Room was adequate, bed was comfortable

Very quiet and clean, staff super friendly too. Would recommend.

Great stay. Had some issues with towels and bedding but Shezan at the front desk cleared it up very quickly. Lovely stay, Thank you!
J. P.
Lovely staff, great places to stay and the breakfast also amazing. Only little point is the rooms aren't soundproof so could hear quite a bit and not be too loud

Great atmosphere for the cost, only down side was if you book for breakfast don't go too early as hot food wasn't out at the beginning had to wait about 10 mins. Evening meals from the bar were good sized portions and staff were friendly. We would definitely go again next time we are in London.

Extremely helpful polite and friendly staff. Clean rooms and corridors etc. Very busy hotel.

Great stay clean comfortable beds great breakfast value for money will be staying again

Lovely staff but hotel is very tired, rooms could do with an upgrade.
J. I.
Lovely place, staff are fantastic and always happy to help. Will stay here every time. Thanks Shezan, Anton, Michael, Carlos, Fatima and Rosie for making our stay very good.

Staff were great, just not enough of them.
Room was adequate, bed was comfortable

Room was spotless, heard trains going under the hotel but soon nodded off to sleep 💤. As stated,a good 10 to15 minute walk from King's Cross .

Stayed in betterTravelodges even though I stayed in a "Superoom" the shower still was very mouldy , but cheap and handliy placed for me, so good all in all
D. L.
We had a super room and it was really nice, although it was a bit of a walk to get to. We had to go up in the lift, along a corridor and then down a flight of stairs and back along another corridor. It wasn't an issue for us but could be for someone with mobility issues although all the staff were really pleasant and happy to help on the couple of occasions we went to the reception. The breakfast was really good and definitely worth the money. Overall, one of the better Travelodges I've stayed in. Was far superior to the one in Chertsey we stayed in the night before where the cleaners didn't know how to clean a toilet properly and there were dirty marks left in the u bend and dirt all over the hallway carpets.
M. T.
Great location to access areas we were planning to visit. Close to St Pancras train station. Nice cafe and bar in the hotel.
Pillows contents very bobbly so made for an uncomfortable 3 nights stay with poor sleep.
No voiles/privacy film on windows which looked out onto busy main road - had to keep night-time curtains closed at all times for privacy in the room!
D. C.
OK for the price. We paid for an early check in at noon although room wasn't ready till half twelve. Also paid for the SuperRoom, which came with dirty stained carpet. Bathroom was tiny, and drinks table (with swanky coffee maker) had loads of coffee/hot chocolate powder over it left over uncleaned from previous guests.
But it's a crash pad for staying over in London basically, so in that context, it's not bad.
c. b.
Clean, quiet. Good price Great location in walking distance of West End Theatres.
K. M.
Very clean, tidy, quiet rooms. Good breakfast, though no fresh eggs
H. K.
Efficient cheap acomodation in London close to Kings Cross. Good standards. Adequate space rooms. Eficient staf. Good parking
s. c.
Room's are a bit small but very clean and have ice cold air conditioning food in the restaurant was 1st class a d staff are helpful
M. S.
It's much closer to central London. It's quite cheap if booked in advance. Access to all modes of transport and the rooms were clean. I will go back there again.
P. S.
I got a single room. There isn't much space, but the furnishing is pretty good. There's a TV and Air-conditioning, no minifridge though. Not a fan of the paid-for WiFi though, which also limits you to just 2 authorised devices, it's not even 2 devices simultaneously connected.
A. B.
You get what you pay for. Bed is comfy and that's all I need when working away from home. If you want more comforts pay more money. Simple really. It does have aircon! Not all Travelodge hotels in London do
R. C.
Clean and does what it says on the tin. Staff excellent friendly and helpful
D. C.
Brilliant staff, miles and miles difference between Farringdon and Royal Scot up the road. It's like a different hotel chain. Farringdon brilliant, well done
C. B.
Very quiet and clean, staff super friendly too. Would recommend.
D. M.
Travelodge is Travelodge. Only thing is we went to get a drink and pizza after checking in, to be told by staff member that she would be back in 15...
S. V.
The Super room is clean and modern, very quiet. Bed very comfortable. The coffee machine makes half-decent coffee. When we arrived on Valentine's day the towels were sculpted into a swan shape on the bed and scattered with rose petals which was a nice touch. Overall a very pleasant experience, especially for the price.
B. B.
Very friendly staff room is clean and tidy nice and cool with the Aircon on would stay again.
A. R.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast. Room and toilet was clean but there was not enough toilet rolls and the batteries in remote control didn't work🤷♀️ good location. There is everything you need to spend good timenin London!
I. C. K.
carlos was great. the rooms were not ready when we arrived, yet he offered us complementary beers whilst we waited. 10/10 service
C. Y.
Very nice location. A budget friendly hotel with extremely friendly staff. They help with everything you need promptly. It is in close proximity to Kings Cross station. Rooms are very spacious. There is a nice bar in the ground floor. You can have your drinks in the evenings and breakfast in the mornings since it is 24/7. I highly recommend this place
S. J.
Really good upgrade to the travel lodge brand. Room was spacious, clean and fresh. Mattress in our room was nice and firm, the bathroom was sparkling clean. TV, iron, iron board, coffee making facilities, Aircon, 4 pillows, desk/chair, small arm chair, 2 big mirrors in the room, hair dryer... Pretty much what you'd get in one of the bigger brands. It was very hot so we could have done with a little fridge in the room for cold water but the Bar down stairs provided free glasses of ice so can't complain. We did get an awkward room, 255 with was on second floor via a lift.. but then had to go down a flight of stairs ( kind of 1 floor down) no access to lift. Again both my wife and I are fit so did not have an issue, but could be inconvenient. Overall happy with this property, would definitely go back
A. L.
Staff is extremely helpful and polite. This place goes above and beyond customer service. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was just enough to get you going in the morning. Great location. We loved it so much we stayed here on 2 separate occasions. I highly recommend this hotel to the traveler looking to stay somewhere for a long period of time or just a short stay. Great location and the neighborhood had everything we needed..
M. D.
Great service, great breakfast, perfect for a cheap stopover.
m.
Clean and tidy. Not cheap, but location is good so premium prices are to expected. Bed was comfortable and despite being a very small room, it served its purpose well.
Breakfast as alright. I ate at around 8am and the food was warm and tasted reasonable. Coffee was decent. No more, but crucially no less.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
To achieve a higher rating I would have liked a fresher breakfast, cleaner towels in the bathroom or a cheaper price to make it a higher value proposition.
It would also have been helpful to have TVs that are screen mirroring enabled, so I can use my own streaming service account on my phone to watch content.
I would stay again if I needed a reasonable priced overnight stop close to king's cross station
H. S.
Very comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money 😀
E. B.
It's fine. I had a 1st floor room so the noise of the street kept me awake. I told reception after the first night that my TV remote was out of battery, but it wasn't fixed in time for my second night. The room is comfortable enough and not cramped, enough room for a quick hotel room workout in the morning. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but decent quality. I feel that free WiFi should be standard in hotels these days, especially if you're paying >£100 per night.
b. b.
Clean rooms. Staff very helpful, pleasant place to stay
R. B.
I had an excellent stay at a reasonable price. My room was spacious, with a desk and USB outlets. My bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The buffet breakfast was satisfying. Although my room directly faced the road, it was double glazed and I was pleasantly surprised that I was not disturbed by traffic noise at any time.

I stayed here for one night in July 2019. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and our room was clean and a fairly good size. Travelodge prices are always very reasonable and consistently good. They have quite a varied menu in the restaurant, with vegan options too which is great. The receptionists let us have Deliveroo in our room though, which was really kind.
My only complaint is that it took me a while to fall asleep because of people entering and exiting their rooms in the rooms around ours. The doors had quite a loud 'thud' as they closed and the people in these rooms kept coming in and out. Despite this, I will definitely choose to stay here again if I'm in the area.
J.
The 'Super Rooms' are great, but with the usual Travelodge caveats. Room itself is great, much higher standard than normal and with a double socket and full light controls on each side of the bed (amazing how many hotels still don't have a socket to charge your phone overnight) and the room comes with ironing/ ironing board and coffee machine. Bathroom was very odd though, ludicrously long shower base ment the toilet was tucked in next to the sink and very cramped despite there being plenty of space overall. Toiletries and breakfast options are standard Travelodge fare, best to use/get your own but the room itself was well worth the upgrade.
A. F.
Good location, however the room was really small. The curtains were thin so I could see street lights all night and the bathroom was also tiny, could hardly even turn round in it. Hotel needs a refit as looking dated. Good staff though.
c. v.
Great breakfast and friendly staff. We stayed 5 nights and slept okay for 2. 1 night the hotel was awoken due to the fire alarm and the other nights the opening of doors in our hall kept us awake.
Rooms cleaned after 2 days but the toilet paper was not refilled. Besides this and that it is far from the tourist attractions, an okayvhotel to stay at
G. F.
We had a great stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean room, comfy beds. Excellent value for money. Location is good too .
B. B.
Very comfy and large bed. View wasn't ideal but I had no intentions of sitting in the room looking out on the world. Staff very friendly. Also health and safety conscious as the nightshift member of staff was ill and as such no night time food was available. I appreciated the concern for hygiene. Would have been nice to get a pizza though 😂
z. d.
Stayed twice. First time, the room we checked into hadn't been cleaned but staff responded quickly and effectively. Second time no issues. Car park is expensive (£20 for 24hr)
P. R.
Not as good as most other Travelodges. It was clean in the rooms but musty in the corridors.
P. H.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast, definitely would use again
S.
Stayed here with my 4 year old on her first trip to London, staff here really are lovely, rooms were ideal, just somewhere to sleep and shower was all we needed as we were out all day everyday exploring. Breakfast was good, good location and great value, will definitely be looking to stay again on our next trip.
L. P. (.
Fantastic stay, this is our 2nd time staying here. We chose this location because of the advertised "New style hotel" it is very tidy and the staff are friendly and will help with any problems to the best of their abilities.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Included in our room was two chairs, a desk and an open hanging area by the door for coats. The bathroom is big enough for one person with a double shower, we found the shower curtain was bit too short.
They will provide an iron/board and hair dryer if needed just ask at reception. There is also extra tea, coffee, milk and sugar located at reception. You can just pick up whatever you need.
We paid for WiFi and breakfast to be included with our room.
The WiFi was tolerable, not super fast but worked well enough for some basic video streaming and browsing.
The breakfast was located next to the bar, there was plenty of choice the only thing I thought would have made it better was fried eggs!
The bar wasn't the cheapest but if you want a quiet night in you're paying for the convenience.
The location is fantastic, there are plenty of places to eat and drink around and hundreds to order takeaway from. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (63 Gwynne Place) that took us almost everywhere we needed to go!
B. V.
Good hotel in a quiet location. A bit of a walk from any underground station so great for quietness and resting. Located near good eateries and further down there are corner shops, Vietnamese restaurant etc, all amazing places. The hotel itself is a travel lodge, I'm not sure I can expand much, basically you get what you pay for? My key card stopped working twice in one day but staff were quick to rectify it.
P.
Stayed for three nights, overall it was pretty good. Had a problem with the cards deactivating but that was easily fixed. Food was a little naff though.
P. A.
I used to stop at the Royal Scott Travelodge two minutes down the road, but not all of the rooms have air con, which is a must in London in the summer, so I "upgraded" to this branch. Lovely clean and modern hotel with all of the required amenities. The bat/restaurant area is spacious and clean and nicely decorated. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. Breakfasts are standard Travelodge fayre, but they're better presented and cooked than in some of their hotels. The evening meals - although standard - are also good and value for money (particularly in London). The only thing this doesn't have which it's competitor down the road has is that it doesn't start serving breakfast until 7AM (the Royal Scot Travelodge serves from 6AM), but given the nice surroundings and the comfortable stay I always have when I'm there, then I can more than live with that
D. B.
Nice large and quiet rooms. As with all travelodges, they have comfy beds, rooms are always clean and staff are helpful. There’s a few shops within a couple minutes walk from the hotel which is convenient if you want to buy some drinks or snacks. Kings cross is also a short walk away so transport links are great
H.
Standard Travelodge room, bathtub with shower is nice. Not sure what the cleaning process is here, cleaners would come but wouldn't empty bins. Some days we would go out at 11am hoping to come back to a clean room at 8pm and it wasn't touched. Not impressed.
H. L.
Polite and friendly staff. Clean and well maintained rooms. Perfect nights sleep. Not too expensive and food is good too. It's in the perfect location to get to any part of London you wish to visit as busses run directly outside and in walking distance of train stations, even if you prefer to walk it's not that far way from everything. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone not wanting to be right in the centre of London.
D. C.
The rooms are nice enough, they are small but are adequate, and the breakfasts are buffet and whilst you can fill your boots are not the best. They are a bit cold and whilst I think the staff do their best, they don't have the best tools to work with. Nice hotel though, the staff are very nice and very friendly
P. D.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are small, with en suite. The air conditioning worked well. We had booked a twin room months earlier because we really wanted two beds. We were given a double which the staff could not change on our first night. The second night they moved our things to a twin room.
J. D.
Just stayed at this hotel May 14. I had read all the bad reviews about it but didn't find it too bad at all. The rooms are smallish but have stayed in a lot smaller in London for more money. The furniture was a bit dated but more importantly it was very clean and comfortable especially the bed. The TV remote didn't work but was replaced without me even mentioning it so well done for that. The bar area has been refurbished and is now very clean and colourful. I didn't have any food there so can't comment about that but would be happy to stay there again.
D. N.
Not bad for a night reasonable price for London, location not too far away from bars. Bus stop right outside tubes not too far away either, taxi service arrived in mins. Cheap and cheerful for what it is. Clean in room and communal areas. Plugs are few n far between but really can't moan for the price and it was one night. staff really friendly, room attendant was lovely.
T. F. (.
All the rooms have been refurbished and it's now a great place to stay, with brand new bathrooms, loads of sockets (near the bed, unusually!) and USB charging points in each socket. The rooms are small, but a good option for a single traveller or for a couple. When I stayed there the restaurant was being refurbished, so I can't comment on that.
J. B.
I've always had a good experience of any Travelodges I've stayed in - you get what you pay for, but the rooms are really big by London standards, the staff are usually fine and it's always been clean. This time we were pleasantly surprised by a very warm welcome - the receptionist was friendly and chatty, asking us about our day and our plans for our visit. When we told her we were there for our anniversary, she offered us drinks on the house to celebrate. We were told the room would probably be hot, as could be expected in July, but they'd done everything they could to keep the room a bit cool, and even offered us a second fan in addition to the one already in the room if we needed it. All in all a very positive experience!
A. H.
Gave away a room that was paid for and the rest of the hotel was booked too. Took them about 30 minutes to find an empty room at another branch. Why that can't be looked up within seconds on the PC in this day and age is a mystery to me.
It's great when you get less sleep before a business meeting because of such a delay.
They did pay for the taxi and upgrade me to a "super" room but... maybe it's because I'm used to non-London standards but the "super" room was just a "mediocre" room in my perception.
M. D.
City centre 5 min to everything that's very good not been in tube at all. Rooms are very small bed and TV desk, small wardrobe. Bathroom is nice clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast is very good. No air conditioning got really hot in night going back to small room gets hot easy. Location location location beats everything.
M. C.
Had a short one night stay with them, check in was very efficient, staff was very helpful even we had a problem with the hotel booking agent and they also stored our luggages for us when we have arrived earlier than check in time. The rooms looks great and spacious for London. USB ports are scattered around the room, no problems for charging at all. Overall a tip top experience.
R. S.
Had a three night stay, venue chosen due to location of music festival. Staff were really helpful throughout and changed the coffee machine in the room which was faulty on first night. Room was immaculate, surprisingly quiet area, with some great food and drink options in the nearby Exmouth Market, would recommend staying here. Transport links also good, less than 10 minutes from King's Cross
S. W.
We were let down by a hotel we had booked with so had to book the Travelodge last minute and we are glad we did. The lady in the desk could not have been nicer, full of smiles and when she heard of of problems she upgraded us. The room was great and The rest of the staff could not have been better. Will definitely book again.
B. B.
Work : you're booked into a travelodge.
Me : oh, marvelous!
Me checking out : Best. Travelodge. Ever.
Lovely staff, good food, nice room. You almost lost a star for not giving me a piggy back ride to work, but I'm feeling generous after a good sleep and great breakfast.

Me and my sister came down to London for a show. The hotel was clean and tidy and breakfast was lovely. The staff where really kind. As it was my sister birthday I organised with them to bring a cake out at breakfast. They then surprised me with by giving her a present too. It was lovely really enjoyed my stay will stay again. Rooms and lighting where great and price with breakfast included for 2 night 2 people where fantastic value. Will recommend.
S. T.
Cheap for London, comfortable and convenient. I booked this hotel for a last minute visit to London. This is not the only location that Travelodge have in the area with one nearer to King's Cross Station but costing a little more.
The room was not huge, but suited me fine.
As part of my booking, I paid for WiFi access, I was able to connect my phone, but not my laptop which was a little disappointing.
I also paid for breakfast at the time of booking which made for a nice start to the day. I also had my evening meal there, a pizza. Not the best pizza, but it was still a pleasant meal.
I must admit that as someone who enjoys walking around a city, I was not sure where the nearest tube station was to the hotel. There were bus stops nearby.
The British Museum was in easy walking distance of the hotel.
J. J.
This Travelodge is a bit old and tired. My room was also exceptionally hot (August UK) the fan provided helped but as there is no air conditioning I had to open a window onto a busy London Street.
That being said the staff were polite and the place was clean. The bar / restaurant had been updated and it looks like the rest of the hotel is being done this year too.
Breakfast was a standard hot buffet type affair. The bar servers food in the evenings too.
P. B.
Lovely hotel, a bit of a walk from Kings cross but ok for price. Typical room size, very clean, nice air conditioning and lovely breakfast. Bathroom tiny, limited storage and would love a closer tube but overall very nice and would use again.
S. C.
Nice room I have stayed before, this time however, both coffee pod machine and kettle didn't work, was give a comp breakfast for my trouble though which was nice. However I forgot to mention that there air conditioning wasn't working properly, switched it on as they had left the window open and was showered with water as I was standing underneath at the time. The carpet was soden.
M. M.
Decent nights sleep on one of the top floors away from the busy road below. 25 minutes walk from Covent Garden and a reasonable price. What’s not to like. Staff were polite, Room was clean and well appointed. Close to Kings Cross. Would recommend for travellers without vehicles.
S. C.
Really helpful and friendly staff and good quality food in restaurant
K. P.
Amazing comfortable room. Room size just right. Lighting was amazing. Coffee machine nice touch. Breakfast had a good variety of foods. Would suggest providing bottles of sauces rather than sachets
P. P. (.
Stayed 14/4/18 for 1 night. The staff on reception were really helpful and exceptionally pleasant for London! The hotel was really clean and breakfast were as spot on.
Location is ideal as only 10 min fast pace walk to kings cross underground.
Would stay there again.
G. M.
Affordable clean and quiet rooms. It's annoying the reception don't stock toothbrushes and toothpaste to buy. The breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold breakfast foods. The location isn't great as its a 15 minute walk from St Pancras International and there are no tube stations closer either. I would recommend it though, as an inexpensive place to stay the night!
S. S.
Staff were lovely but the hotel tan out of coke cola at the bar, the room was cold and the food took ages to turn up, we had to order twice. But clean smart looking and surprisingly a 24 hour bar.
O.
Well, not a luxorious stay by any means. It is a place to sleep and walking distance from the British Museum and other fun spots for shopping in London. The rooms smelled a bit but they were clean. It wasn't my room with bed bugs but the morning afterwards my friends reported of bed bugs in their room.
R. A.
A nice budget hotel. My room is clean and bigger than expected, the bathroom is big and also clean. The English breakfast is decent, staff are friendly and helpful. You can also store your baggage if you come early or leave late.
A. S.
Room next to me were having a party - a member of staff named Kai moved me straight away to the furthest away room he could. Brilliant customer service, top bloke
A. V.
I’m glad this visit was paid for by my company. As I’d be rather upset having paid that much to stay here. Whoever built the place decided that it’s best to put the window rooms out to the front noisy road which kept noisy until 23 and restarted at 5am. While the back of the building is quiet and yet thats where the hallway is... don’t eat in the restaurant in the evening. I ordered garlic mushrooms for starter and receive two pieces of garlic bread topped with mushrooms in cream. Burger was frozen and dry, chips were Oven cooked together with onion rings. Breakfast was half decent but lack of food was an issue and I didn’t get everything I wanted (wait for bacon...). Coffee is terrible. Premier inn price for what is nowhere near as Good sadly. At least the bed was comfortable
y. b.
Location was for me quite interesting, a bit oldish but still as comfortable and usual as all the other travelodge hotels in London, breakfast was sufficient for me. The price is often fair and cheaper for this one.
Apart from sleeping there or working , do not expect much from this district.
B.
It's a Travelodge, you know it's ok, it's clean, it's reasonably priced. Is it the Ritz? no. Are there supermodels checking in? No. It's full of normal people who just want a place to lay their head. With the savings you make you can have a lovely breakfast in a local cafe, gouge yourself, you've earned it by staying in a frugal hotel that has nice beds and a reasonable TV
s. s.
Neat, clean, and eating options around the corner. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is close to the main road so it's a bit noisy during the night but it is also dependent on the room you get.
All in all, a real nice and comfortable stay.
J. C.
The bed was comfy and the room was clean. It's quite basic but that was all we needed. The staff were quite difficult to find - the problem with running a hotel on minimal staff but there was also a tendency for them to disappear "round the back".
The shower was functional but there was no separate towel to stand on when getting out of the shower - or is this just me?
We took advantage of the bar/restaurant which had happy hour 2 drinks for 8 pounds (but our drinks weren't included) and two courses for 12 pounds. My suet pudding, mash potato, peas and gravy was lovely as was my Sticky toffee pudding, but my wife's Half roast chicken was VERY dry. So drywe sent it back, and I'm so English I hate sending things back. They did replace it for free and my wife chose the Beef Bourgingon which was edible but not much better and would have benefitted from a portion of peas - although by this point I don't think my wife was going to be impressed by anything. Hence her dessert (triple chocolate sundae) wasn't very nice either - the chocolate muffin making the pudding very dry despite the ice-cream.

It's a nice place, very comfortable beds, clean rooms, polite staff, reasonable prices. But I was surprised there are no phones in the rooms, there's no other way to communicate with front desk than to go... So if you have a question or something isn't working, gotta get decent to go all the way to the reception area.
R. H.
Nice place to stay. Clean, tidy and good temperature. Helpful staff. I arrived at midnight and there was still someone at reception, answering quickly.
J. M.
Did not stay as was with family but used the bar and drinks were reasonably priced. Only downside was ladies toilets which smelt of drains and had a dirty manhole cover. But family said they had a good 4 night stay and that it was also reasonably priced.
C. M.
Excellent location and price . A short walk from kings cross/st pancras and a bit further the other way Farringdon/Clerkenwell. Very spacious and well equipped rooms. Super clean and tidy. Nice bathroom with everything you would need .
P. D.
Quite basic, slightly dated Travelodge Hotel, just five or so minutes walk from London Kings Cross. However despite being rather basic the room was still splendid for the money charged. Clean and comfortable... A good find, would stay again.
K. W.
Tricky to review as it had its ups and downs. Entrance was secured at night and everything was well signposted. The room was absolutely boiling hot even with the window open as far as it would go. No working extractor fan in the bathroom so that also wasn't pleasant. Really noisy street but not the hotel's fault really. Tiny bed but it must have been comfy enough once asleep for me to stay asleep. Not as good as the other chain but it'll do.
J. H.
Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Check in was easy and quick.
Unfortunately the furniture was a bit tired looking and the television reception was appalling. Main road position made it quite noisy too.
Great for crashing down at night, but simple things would have made it better.
L. D.
Great travelodge. Easy to find and really helpful staff etc. I had a super room which was a lot better than the standard rooms. Air conditioned, better lighting, more drinks choices etc. Recommend going for one of these if you can, although the walk to the room from reception was quite long..
K. H.
Very good value for central London. Comfortable room. Large shower. Tea and coffee in room. Hair dryer and iron all in room. Breakfast £8.95 is good value and they do 2 course evening meal for £12.00. Very cheap for London.
d. h.
Really good, food great 👍 best breakfast 😋
S. E.
Travelodge in central London is always a bit hit and miss, but this was the best Travelodge that I gave stayed in in the capital. 3 out of 5 doesn't sound many srsrs, but this is a budget hotel and I would say that this is nearer to a 3 and a half. The room was very clean, there was a bath in the room, as well as USB charging points. The dining area was very tidy, but table clearing was a little slow. On the downside, the location isn't great, it is quite a walk from the nearest tube, and the rooms are a little noisy from traffic. They had also run out of orange juice for breakfast (how??? - this is the 21st century, Travelodge). The staff were very helpful and friendly.
L. C.
Decent size room, small bathroom, stopped on the 4th floor, cleaner couldn't speak a word of English so had to explain what milk was. think the managers also need to buy the cleaners a door wedge each because i must have been made jump about 40 times with the doors slamming shut every 20 seconds.
Z. F.
Great hotel with wonderful staff - very helpful and knowledgable of local area and transport links.
Paid for early check in which was great as we arrived at 1130 so we could then head straight into London - they also held our luggage til turned 6pm on our departure day giving us the freedom to sightsee easily
Great food with super breakfast choice.
Highly recommended
C. H. S.
Quiet area, 15 minutes walk from King's Cross so it's some distance to the Tube. The room's walls are rather thin though, as I can hear people talking in the corridors as well as door slamming. Stayed in a single room, very spacious with plenty of mirrors and ensuite bathroom with shower. Very clean and bed was comfy. Have to pay for breakfast and WiFi but wasn't too much. Overall good value hotel to stay in London if you don't mind walking to the Tube.
D. C.
Genuinely friendly reception staff. Building as old (formerly a Thistle Hotel), and looks retro from the outside. However, refurbishment has removed all the Artex and wood paneling, and the rooms are to modern Travelodge standards, with wide-screen TVs, powerful showers, and comfy beds.
Refurb rooms have air conditioning, and double glazing - fixing previous problems of temperature and noise.
Super Rooms, broadly the same standard is Premier Inn. Worth the money!
G. C.
Good location and well priced. Stayed in late October 2016 and it's undergoing a makeover . Beds are great for a quality sleep. Bit noisy from Street traffic. If your not used to city noise bring some ear plugs.
P. W.
It almost seems pointless rating a Travelodge as you can largely expect the same the country over. The Farringdon branch was exactly as you'd expect room wise (I'm yet to try one of the new "Super Rooms") and they were clean, spacious enough and the beds comfortable.
The bar area and reception have also had a recent overhaul so were much nicer spaces to sit in than some other branches I've stayed at. The only real downside for me was the location, about 15 minutes walk either way to King's Cross or Russel Square tube stations. Not a huge problem, but the walk itself isnt a particularly interesting one and gets pretty tiresome once you've done it 4 or 5 times!
Overall though I'd still probably opt to stay here over the two other Travelodges in the area, which despite being a tad closer seem to be less well maintained and in need of an update!
L. H.
The hotel is located not far from the station king cross, the staff is kind.
The rooms are small, Very clean,
there is not one shelf in the room to put clothing, All on the floor😒
The hotel does not provide internet,It costs 3 pounds per day, they have an external provider, Excellent English breakfast a cozy dining room 💞
A. G.
I stayed here for a weekend trip. The hotel is clean and the well kept. Good news, they have USB plugs in the walls for phones. The breakfast offering is decent, not great. I would stay here again
A. C.
Amazing customer service from Carlos, he really made my stay great. I will definitely be booking again!!!
J. F.
Not great tbh. Room wasn't changed despute my requesting it to be done, breakfast wasn't a good experience. Had to wait around for approx 10 mins for the staff to restock the food. However, staff were polite and curtious as always.
R. G.
Average Room was cleans and despite being very busy it was quiet at night. My mattress was too big for the bed so I always felt like I was going to fall out!! Customer service was hit n miss...often having to wait for someone to man the bar. Breakfast was yummy
D. T.
For a travel lodge i was very impressed with the lady behind the bar Oxma sorry if I have spelt it wrong great customer service and nothing was to much trouble. The other person I want to mention who went way and beyond his role is Chris the morning manager. Great customer service went out of his way to get us a taxi and helpped lift our bags in. Food not to bad.the rooms very clean and fresh towels daily. Would recommend this travel lodge.
J. B.
Stayed with my wife for a weekend in London. Quite expensive but nice hotel. Got a “super room” which gave us a fantastic shower, very comfy big bed and a proper lavazza coffee machine in the room. Friendly staff too.
S. A.
Is okay but carpet could use replacing
F. J.
We stayed here last year and was a good value place to stay but was very tired furnishing and decoration . However this time was all updated and refurbished ! Spotless but basic! Excellent position and value for money. Will be staying there again!
L. W.
Probably one of the best travelodge hotels in the UK. I'd put this one on par with the average premier inn but would recommend paying the extra for a superior room if possible. The majority of guests staying here are on business so isn't as noisy at night as other London hotels in this price bracket. Its also only around a 15-20 minute walk from kings cross which is also the nearest station.
A. C.
A very well equipped room had coffee machine, hairdryer and ironing equipment. Relatively well located for tube link if you don't mind a little walk staying here is a cheaper option as not as central.
D.
Neathen was the best host ever very accommodating 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!!
N. B.
Delicious breakfast and newly refurbished bar area. However we didn't sleep very well, doors kept slamming and you could hear people walking and talking in the corridor throughout the night and into the early morning.
A. B.
Stayed in a standard room for a two night break. Clean and comfortable hotel, with pleasant staff. Great location for everything we wanted to do and plenty of good places to eat nearby.
J. I.
Pretty good for a budget hotel. The rooms are much as you would expect in a Travelodge. The dining facilities are pretty good with plenty of seats. But it is the location that makes this a good hotel with the city only 30mins walk straight down the road. Well worth it for a budget stay in the capital!
G. J.
Clean, comfortable and friendly. We booked the super room.
S. H.
Room was okay and clean.
No go to pay extra for WiFi, unless you are okay with a 30 min connection.
Dinner was awful. Had Indian food with pretty, pretty bad meat quality. But breakfast was very good.
H. P.
Clean, reasonably quiet Travelodge. Bit of a walk from the two nearest tube stations, but the 63 bus to and from King's Cross stops right outside. They are also happy for you to leave suitcases there after checkout while you explore. Very friendly staff.
P. B.
This travelodge is clean and modern with air conditioning in each room. Its a ten minute walk from Kings cross and really well located for pubs and restaurants. My tip avoid the restaurant in the hotel and instead just use it as a base to explore the local eateries. Cheap clean accomodation centrally located
S. R.
The hotel is in the midst of a much needed refresh at the moment. The facilities are looking and feeling tired. The bed was one of yje hardest beds ive slept in. The juice from the machine tasted like a weak squash. The food at breakfast was good and plenytful. I'd leave it a few months before staying here again!
J. J.
Lovely staff, a little out of the way for what I needed but had good transport links nearby. Room was fantastic, had the best sleep and the shower is brilliant! Would stay again
K. R.
Nice rooms, excellent choice for breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff. Very quiet for a city centre hotel, only 10-15 mins walk from Kings Cross, and we had the window open all the time.
R. T. K.
If you've been to a Travelodge before the rooms are the same except this one has a breakfast bar which is self service.
the food is not the greatest but if you just looking to get something in your stomach then it's ok.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
K. L.
Well. Not much to say. I was there. Not a bad place. It did the job.
It is not luxury, fancy hotel and don't expect posh people around.
Around 15 min walk to King's cross station.
In summary: it is a budget hotel and if you find it at a budget price - get it.
T. W. W.
Hotel has excellent value for money. Basic but clean and good location. 10 minute walk from the station.
Many thanks to the Portuguese ladies and Joana at the front desk for nearby restaurant recommendations and support.
B. B.
Nice newly refurbished room (just the basic room, not the upgrade) and despite being on Kings Cross Road it was surprisingly quiet.also the price was pretty reasonable at £89 for the night. It's a 15-20 minute walk back to Kings Cross. We will stay again.
W. G.
Clean (except a couple of hairs in the shower), and functional, but had the feel of a student bedsit. Tiny rooms, and even smaller bathrooms. Can't get out of the shower (no bath!) without hitting either the toilet, or the door. Served its purpose, but I wouldn't rush back.
D. T.
Everything you'd expect from a Travelodge. Great location and clean. Only markdown was the size of bathroom - very small and you had to negotiate closing the door, while stepping over the toilet into the shower.
L. M.
We have stayed in this Travel Lodge on four occasions and would now never stay anywhere else in London. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. The travel lodge is clean and the food is great.
J. P.
Great place to get around London, although bit of a walk as it's between Kings Cross & Farringdon stations. Staff on bar & food were very helpful, some reception staff were fine.
Sitting area was bright, pleasant & clean
T. L.
Fifteen minute walk from Russell Square or Kings Cross tube stations. Very quiet so easy to walk to both stations. Rooms could be better but as it's a budget hotel it is expected to be less luxurious. Would stay again for convenience.
S. W.
Great location, room is small but comfy. Excellent meals in the evening with stellar cocktails, but the breakfast service was poor and breakfast itself is a bit too trendy for its own good...
n. r.
Very enjoyable 2 night stay .
The room was clean and spacious .
Could of done with a fridge .
Staff was very polite and helpful.
Overall very happy .
J. P.
Stayed in a standard twin room it was very clean, easy check in and out. Great location. Short walk to nearest underground station.
P. H.
It's relatively clean, beds are comfortable and it's cheap.
Downsides are that it's a bit shabby and a bit of a walk from any tube stations. Also it can take a while for breakfast items to be replaced when they run out.
s. l.
Fantastic place. Great rooms and wonderful staff. After a complete mess of royal scot hotel giving our rooms we booked to someone else. We was well looked after by management in this hotel. Would highly recommend it. But skip royal scot
F. F.
Clean, cool and newly refurbished hotel with great staff close to lively cafes, bars and restaurants.
If your looking for a place close an area to switch off, relax and unwind with a glass of gin or wine and a plate of good food look no further.
R. J.
Further out than i anticipated but that was ok. Terrible, ignorant reception when we arrived, customer service course is a must especially when one of the members of staff was management. Room was typical travelodge. Breakfast was good.
C. B.
We were in London to see a show this hotel was only 5min taxi ride to the theatre ( Aldwych ). The staff very friendly the reception, rooms and bar/ restaurant were immaculate reasonably priced room and the food too good choice at breakfast
S. 1.
Very good in terms of services, I was greeted by the front desk as well as being offered to for assistance of my bags. Very kind staffs who led me up to my room, which was very cosy and perfect in size. Overall good experience.
S. T.
I stayed for several days in a super room... I'm not sure if recommend the upgrade (although I haven't stayed in a standard room here)... The only differences that I can see are that the super rooms provide KitKats (2 x 2 finger instead of biscuits, but they don't get replaced after your first night - there's a small shop right next to the hotel that's very well stocked with drinks and snacks should you feel peckish), coffee machines with caps provided, upgraded plug sockets (they include USB ports), a heated bathroom mirror, and strange light switch pads that light up when they sense movement (mine and a colleague's both lit up at random when we were in bed and nowhere near them).
The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the air conditioning worked well and the hotel was relatively quiet. Be warned that if you're on the front of the building though the road is busy most of the time... It only goes quiet for about 2 hours during the night.
Breakfast is a fairly standard affair - hot buffet, cereal, croissants, fruit juice and coffee machines, toast, a disappointing fruit salad (which is mainly just granny smith apples) and yogurt. I was there with several colleagues, so found it frustrating that most of the seating is set up as tables of 2, but this will just be a reflection of the hotel's typical business customers.
If you have the time and the inclination I'd recommend a short walk to grab breakfast further up into Farringdon, where there are plenty of places to eat.
After the experience of breakfast I never had an evening meal in the hotel's restaurant. Again though, there are lots of places to eat nearby. I found several on and around Exmouth Market. I'd also recommend trying out the Union Tavern, a couple of minutes down the road. I was very impressed with the meal I had there. They also do a 2 course meal deal before 7pm. I'd recommend pre-booking though, as it's limited on space and can get busy.
The hotel's location is very convenient with lots of things within a reasonably short walk or bus ride.
A. S.
Great stay! Service was amazing, better than some of the 4* plus hotels i've stayed in. Martin on reception was so helpful and chatty. Lovely beds and a 24hour bar! :-)
B. M.
Room was very stuffy, there was a fan in there though which was good. A colleague's room had the heating on fill, and smelt very musty because of this. Bed was OK, decor in corridors was very dated, and my room V could only be reached by going up to the second floor, and then back down a set of stairs, which was a little strange!
L. W.
Room very clean and bed comfy, shower great! Staff really friendly with a 24hr bar. No complaints. Great for a cheap night in London.
S. M.
The venue is recently refurbished. It's true Travelodge standard; clean, comfortable and value, without being outstanding. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I'd happily return.
J. C.
Decent reasonable priced and comfortable. Felt secure. No parking though. Usual high priced on street parking or extortionate ncp. Next time will be using the train. Too much traffic driving sat in traffic. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you
D. B.
Room lovely if a bit warm. Location very handy, right by bus stops to rest of London. Food lovely- scrambled eggs to die for. Service friendly.
S. G.
I arrived tonight in the hotel for my check-in really in late and they didn't have a room for me, but Benedict at the reception was amazing, he found me a solution immediatly, always with a smile, my room is amazing. He did a great job!!!
C. M.
Location very good. Very pleasant indeed. Nice comfy bed with good quality tea tray. Good choice of menu for evening meal and breakfast options.
I. H.
The room was as expected. Clean and tidy. The bed is really comfortable. The restaurant service was quick and meal I had (pie and mash) hit the spot.
m. y.
the location is convenient and the room is neat, unpleasant checkout though. I asked front desk to send the receipt to my email address, the man said he couldn't do that. Then I said a hard copy is fine as well. Then he asked me to log onto website and download it by myself. Excuse me??!!
J. P.
Brilliant. Friendly staff. Great room. Excellent location. Excellent breakfast. Lovely bar and seating area. Couldnt fault it in anyway.
L. E.
Excellent location. Very clean & staff friendly. Only complaints are the rooms are too warm & maids need to replenish tea & coffee etc. Also no phone for reception.
M. P.
Lovely accommodation, my 2nd time there. Just one little niggle, food in restaurant wasn't good. Fries were hard, coleslaw not nice at all BUT apart from that nice friendly staff.
K. R.
It's a Travelodge. It was clean, comfortable, quiet enough and close enough to the rail and tube stations. No frills. If you just need a place to sleep and stash your things while you're out most of the day, this will do.
p. b.
Cheap but clean with modern air-conditioned rooms. Avoid the food as much better available within easy walking distance.
Highly recommended for the traveler on a budget.
J. B.
Nice hotel, currently being renovated. Good size room, nice bed and such. Bathroom a touch small, but nothing bad. Bit of a walk from King's Cross, but nothing extreme.
D. v. D.
The rooms are clean, neat and perfect for a short stay! It is also conveniently close to Kings Cross Station. The breakfast was very good value for money and tasty!
D. T.
Not the best, tiny room, could barely open door to bathroom...so small, hot water only warm, only good thing is about 10 minutes walk to Kings Cross station.
f. k.
I once work in traveloge but need more imorovement work on site
R. T.
Nice as these rooms have aircon. Not too noisy but no hairdryer that I could locate... It is a basic amenity :)
D. C.
It nice and cosy easy to follow the route from kingscross station as there is a 14 / 10 min walk from the station to the hotel. The staff were nice and understanding really loved my stay here in the travel lodge :D
K. L.
I use this hotel regularly. Itis ideally situated for anyone visiting the capitol. The No. 63 bus to Honour Oak picks up outside Kings Cross station and drops of outside the hotel, approx. 100 metres from hotel door. Buses from the hotel take you back to Kings Cross or down to corner of St. Pauls or over the Thames.
The hotel is comfortable, the staff always friendly, helpful and polite. It is quiet, despite having a bus route outside, has good value food, an on my recent visit [1st - 3rd October 2016] they were part way through replacing or renevating the bathrooms in each room.
I am already booked into the hotel again for the near future.
A. M.
Friendly reception staff, room clean and tidy but very small indeed. Good breakfast. Close enough to walk everywhere from here.
C. J.
Decent hotel. Standard Travelodge fare. 15 mins walk to St Pancreas. Rooms fairly new in contrast to outside appearance. Not bad - what you expect from a decent Travelodge
T. K.
Nice, clean room. Very pleasant staff. Good bar with late night food. On a main bus route. As good as it gets for a Travelodge.
d. m.
Everything you expect of a Travelodge, clean room, not spacious but adequate. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff not so much.
L.
Standard Travelodge affair. Shower wasn't working for someone else in a room, cracked tiling and a broken cupboard in mine. The room itself was clean, but there are definitely better (but more expensive) chains out there.
C. D.
Perfectly serviceable, if optimistically named...it's closer to King's Cross than Farringdon. It's adjacent to a decent pub and the Crowne Plaza across the street has more upscale hotel dining options available. Short walk from a lot of good food in Clerkenwell and fast food towards King's Cross.
J. B.
Clean refurbished Travelodge, staff were friendly food well priced for London and appeared to be cooked with care. Had shower over bath which can be a challenge for some people.
C. P.
Comfy hotel at good price. Not a amazing by all accounts but good location, rooms were clean and I stayed on upper floor and it was reasonably quiet too
A.
It's okay. Exactly what you would expect
K. Y. F.
Well executed budget hotel. I did enjoy the breakfast. Wish they would replace the carpets with hardwood floors.
N. m.
Very enjoyable stay, staff is very helpful and rooms confortable. Not the nicest location though, a 15-20min walk to major tourist attractions
T.
Clean tidy rooms good Aircon and shower. Rooms quite small.
Fair walk from Farringdon station so check map. If coming into Kings cross I'd walk there rather than take Tube to Farringdon.
E. L.
Was a real good place to stay, pretty central n ting, breakfast was a myth me no know what happened there, but apart from that it was a great place kick back and relax after a hard day of being a middle class man.
f. l.
Was nice ,friendly staff, also very cline
S. B.
Basic, but has a comfortable bed and good shower. So the location and price, I'm happy. Have stayed before, would stay again.
B. D.
Location was good, nice access to King's cross (about 10 minute walk). The room was nice, the bathroom was small but not unusable, staff were polite and friendly.
F. G.
Newly refurbished. Better than average Travelodge, conveniently situated 10-15 walk from Kings Cross. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast.
D. G.
Stayed one night Very helpful staff
D. A.
Amazing customer service, friend accidently booked double room and we was upgraded to two single rooms without asking, very helpful staff and friendly. Good breakfast
V. G.
Good value for money, clean, with nice staff an fast check-in. The single room is small but clean and reasonably comfortable.
M. T.
Really pleased. At the top end of what you can expect from Travelodge style accommodation. Room was new and well equipped and the bed comfortable.
F. P. C.
Reasonable travelodge for the price in central london. A little further from the nearest tube than others but not too far. Rooms are a little dated but beds are comfy and showers powerful.
M. C.
Nice hotel and very well located. Everything I needed to go to was walking distance. Hotel room was well equipped only knocking a star off as WiFi is not free.
J. C.
Pretty decent for a travel lodge, as long as you accept it's a budget hotel its perfectly acceptable.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
S. G.
I was actually pleasantly surprised. Air conditioning in the room that worked well, comfy beds and nice breakfast that didn't break the bank in London. Well done TL - a nice improvement.
I. B.
Great staff. Helpful and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Clean room. Good evening meal and breakfast.👍
A. K.
My home from home. I've learned to love its varied room layouts and the quirks I find in each. Hot in the summer. Cold in the winter. But I've grown to like it. The staff are both efficient and competent.
m.
Rooms were fine, good aircon, food was ok,breakfast could have been hotter, had an issue with tea on the 1st night but waitress apologised and gave us free drink
J. T.
The staff were all friendly and helpful had one problem and it was sorted immediately
S. B.
This is our second stay staff are fantastic Thomas on reception when we arrived was very poite and helpfull will deffo be going back again later in the year.
J. W.
Beds and pillows are not very comfy but suits basic needs, cleaners were quite noisy in the day and there is no room service and food is only served at the bar at certian times of the day, not 24h but everything else was fine, room was clean, I booked a extra night yet the cleaners still kept coming into my room when I was not due to check out which invaded my privacy when I was trying to sleep
P. T.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful, room was clean, breakfast was lovely and fresh even at 8:30 a.m. , would certainly stay again.
J. B.
Fantastic place to stay. The only things against it are that it had some construction going on during the day and we didn't have a bath despite there being plenty of room for it
S. T.
Good value hotel, not too far away from Kings Cross (10 minutes walk)... Friendly staff, comfortable beds, though the rooms do look like they need a little tlc to bring them in line with other travel lodge hotels I've stayed in.....
J. C.
Pros - great location, friendly staff, very comfortable bed. Cons - in desperate need of a face-lift, no air-con, room is really small.
n.
Staff were helpful, chatty and friendly. Spotlessly clean. Only dropped a star as not much in the immediate vicinity. However bar is open 24 hours so not bad!
W. S.
Great stay, and well placed for our trip. We missed out on paid breakfast due to early start but would certainly use again!
N.
Good location, friendly staff but room wasn't cleaned 2 days after leaving the card on the door and eventually had to find one of the staff cleaning the rooms who sorted it for me
A. P.
Disappointed really.Good reception workers and clean rooms and hotel but that’s it,not the best location for sightseeing, quite a long walk to the tube when you can locate one.Taxis cost £15-£20 just for a short ride to Covent Garden. So advise booking nearer to the areas of attractions.
I. E.
The standard room and bathroom are microscopically tiny. Other than that, the experience is pretty good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
S. J.
Good room, clean. staff were helpful, only downside is that the nearest tube is a good 15min walk
A. H.
Rooms clean and tidy. Plenty big enough. Staff friendly. Check-in/out smooth and efficient. 10 minute walk from St Pancras/King's Cross
J. P.
Friendly staff. Could do with some updating, rooms a bit tired. Well located a 10 min walk from King's Cross. Breakfast average.
A. G.
The room was clean and spacious but the bathroom had tiles which were broken and there was no towels in the room. Very good location to do anything in and around London.
S. A.
For central london this is slightly better decor and spacious. The room clean and comfortable bed, very basic amenities.
S. S.
For central London this hotel is excellent value, clean, fresh and well designed. The staff are efficient, friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.
J. J.
The hotel was comfortable enough, if a bit tired, but they are currently undergoing refurbishment, which I imagine will improve the experience. For the price we paid it was perfect!
A. R.
Recommend to anyone to stay here nice rooms. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. 10 minutes from kingscross station.
J. P.
Not the best needs a good clean
J. G. (.
Perfect rooms. Great value. Sightly cheaper than the Travelodge further down the road, but practically identical distance to the train station
A. R.
Clean and quiet, friendly staff, decent breakfast, I had a very good sleep here and a nice hot powerful shower. I shall be happy to stay again
C. C.
Really decent budget hotel. No frills but none expected and the staff were lovely. We stayed for breakfast and it was great although a little overpriced.
C. C.
Very pleasant staff. Lovely interior. Rooms are as you’d expect, simple and yet containing all you need.
M. F.
After being moved from kings X due to health and safety problems very late at night, we were kindly upgraded. The rooms were well furnished and well stocked.
C. B.
Disappointing that rooms dont have a hairdryer. You have to ask at reception but they only have a couple so its first come first serve. 2 days there and couldn't get one.
L. D.
Room nice. Beware of ANY 2 drinks sign for happy hour. Its NOT ANY 2! There are restrictions. Its only on CERTAIN drinks.
A.
Rooms extremely clean and freshly renovated but no wifi and no complimentary shampoo or lotion etc.
Breakfast was disappointing. Bar and 24/7 restaurant quite OK for a drink.
I. B.
Good location about 15 minute walk from Kings Cross station, Sandler's Wells is about 10 minute walk, Mount Pleasant is about 5 minutes away. Perfect for a short stay.
J. A.
Good location. Hotel is much better since it was refurbished.
Could have been cleaner in the room...
s. c.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room need up dating. The mushrooms were day and burns. Sausages tasted cheap.
H. W.
Really good location for tubes. Staff were nice and the rooms were clean. The hotel was also really quiet
F. M.
Ok the fire alarm going off because of drinks is not their fault, but the member of staff walking our floor at the time who said "I have no idea what's going on" was not exactly informative or reassuring! Otherwise, did exactly what t says on the tin
A. C.
Seen better days. Price was excellent though
S. B.
The bed was too soft. Not the cleanest. Sheets did not seem fresh. Clean bathroom though

Good overall experience! I hate the fact that the room did not have a mini fridge, they should work on improving their restaurant.

Solo 30 minutos de wifi por día, only 30 minutes of wifi every 24 hs. For the price they could give free wifi. The rest ok
A. A.
Veryyyy cheap! So bonus! But nothing around to do for miles. I stayed for a business trip one night so did the job. But as a tourist definitely don't recommend it
J. P.
Hotel was comfy...breakfast is repetitive and mostly is included in the stay charges...no wifi...you can avail it for £3 per 24 hrs
S. T.
Not modern designed. No hairdryers in rooms. TVs are outdated. Service was nice though.

There're other places that offer better services and rooms at better locations in similar price range... This may sound vague, but this is how I feel...

It was adequate for the event and does not stick out from other hotels in the city that I have been to. In other words nothing special.
