Really great location and front desk staff, I think her name was Dee outstanding. She was really attentive and she asked about things we had planned. Room was really clean and comfy. Extra milk and coffee was available too

I had a great night sleep in this hotel. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The room was well insulated as I didn't hear a single noise even from the road. My only complaint is that the room was way too hot even in December!

The best thing about this travel lodge is the staff, really friendly and attentive. However the rooms are very average / a bit below average. We paid for a premium room and the only difference we could see was the fact it had a coffee machine . Very basic still . Unfortunately dosent compare to competitors like premier Inn. But it is very cheap.
Window was totally frosted meaning it didn't feel like you had a window at all and couldn't see out of your small box room. Most things need updating , carpets old and not very clean. Asked for extra pillow and it never arrived.

4 for the staff. They were great, really helpful and friendly.
However, it's a travel lodge. Rough around the edges, the area is not the greatest (though in this instance, don't let that put you off), and a 10 minute walk from the closest train station.
If the local council could put some well needed money in to the area, it would most certainly help!

Clean room, helpful staff. Great place to stay with easy access into London. Only problem nowhere to park the car.

This is a similar quality to other travelodges, maybe a bit worn in places but great facilities in the room including an iron, coffee machine and usb outlets, and loads of plugs in convenient places. The staff were just so nice. When I popped in to drop my bag off the person on the front desk, Dee, was super helpful and let me check in early, and there was a day manager whose name I didn't catch who I bumped into a couple of times who was very friendly and helpful.

Staff are very friendly.
Hotel is very basic but that's not a criticism. You get what you pay for.

Very good. Comfortable rooms, decent food and polite, friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for more on a short stay over.

Had a fabulous week in this hotel. Staff are attentive and make you feel extremely welcome. Breakfast was excellent and offered lots of variety. Dinner was an eye opener as a meal for one would have fed a family of four.

Bar supervisor was rude because we got locked out our room so we was told by the reception supervisor to sit in the bar and they would sort it food was not great frozen beef burgers and chips beer was okish my misses orderd the fish gousions chips and peas was frozen from everything not the best hotel but it is okay

Staff were super friendly.
I'd paid for a super room on the 10th floor which had good facilities however other guests were very noisy in the night which disturbed me. When mentioned to the staff, there were no further issues.
Unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable (way too hard for me) and the room was very hot so I couldn't sleep very well. They did provide a fan which helped a little
I don't think I'd stay again in summer but since it was such good value, I would stay again if the weather was less hot!

Found this place bit like prison.
Claustrophobic room.
You can hear travel all night with window open.
So ask for a room with out traffic outside.
WiFi never worked which I payed for.
So had to use free half hour one.
Just not very appealing.
Guess they trying to cramp So many rooms in building.
May try again.
Not on my favourite list.
Sorry guys.

Stayed 3 nights, very friendly staff, super comfy beds and very clean. Special mention to Sayfur on restaurant duty Friday night, an asset to his employer.

big hotel , rooms were clean and adequate, lots of blues and twos activity on road outside but, hey, it's London innit! staff were all excellent especially restaurant front of house team .
J. W.
Accommodation spot on, dinner ok, but OMG, the full English needed some work! Only egg available was scrambled, and it looked the scrambling was done a few days ago!!!
Nearest parking is, as it says on their Web page, Westfield shopping centre!!!

Great service at reception, room was very nice and tidy. All essentials were provided including TV, fan and complimentary tea/coffee with milk and sugar/sweetener. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The lights flickered regularly, some switch buttons were fidgety and a socket was damaged in the sense that you could not insert the pin all the way in. That could have led to sparking, which was a fire hazard.
Otherwise the experience was very nice. Good place to stay and well connected to nearby locations via buses.

Lovely place to visit definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area big thanks to the manager were we had a lovely breakfast she was so friendly and helpful.

Very good value for money, got exactly what you'd expect for the price.
Only thing stopping 5 stars is the vending machine was not working.

It's a travel lodge if you want better go somewhere else its cheap what more do u want.

Clean and tidy hotel. Only a few minutes walk from Westfield and Stratford Station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

A good, one night, stay. Very hot room but nice to have a fan in the room. The hair and body dispenser in the shower wasn't working which was a pain while in the shower. Otherwise a well priced hotel.

In a very good location and very clean comfortable, staff are amazing and helpful.
It's 10 min walk from Westfield Shopping Centre and very near the Stratford International Station.
Breakfast was delicious...and not to forget Anour ( I hope I have spelt his name correctly) one of your staff at the breakfast time was very pleasant and helpful very well experienced and attentive.
R. B.
Room whist small was clean and had everything you would expect. Good breakfast. Big thanks to the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Other sites could learn from the staff here.

Reception staff were brilliant, really helpful throughout our stay.
Only problem with this hotel is that they need air conditioning units in every room.
S. C.
Very pleasant reception staff
Lovely bar staff, very helpful.
Clean comfortable room.
No problems whatsoever, would highly recommend, also very close to amazing shopping centre Westfield.
M. B.
Great hotel, lovely helpful and pleasant staff.
Spotlessly clean and constantly being cleaned.
S. P.
Clean, good value for money and friendly staff members. No complaints.
Good location as its 10 mins from Stratford Westfield but the downside is there is no local parking, you will need to park in the shopping centre.

I stayed here for work as its only a short walk to Stratford Station with a number of links to central london (National Rail/DLR/Central line etc) The room was basic but very clean. Was made aware that cleaners were not able to enter during my 4 day stay due to Covid. I didn't use the bar or restaurant due to my working hours but theres a wide variety of shops and takeaways next to the station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately stay again.

Clean room close to amenities parked at Westfield 10 min walk

No water available after 11pm.. had to walk for half an hour, there and back, to find a bottle of water.
The food is not that great either -first night we ordered loaded chips (chips with cheese and bacon bits) and BBQ chicken wings -we recieved the wings but with plain chips, due to staff error -we were then approached by said staff member who asked that we pay the £1 extra to have the correct chips delivered.
The second night was pizza and onion rings.
The pizza was ok but the onion rings nearly broke my tooth. They were rock hard and the onion inside was overcooked to a crisp!
The only good thing is you can take your food and drinks to the room.
They also have tvs downstairs in the bar and are currently showing the football.

This delivered what I needed, a cheap room near London Stadium where I was late last night and concerned I wouldn't be able to use public transport to get home safely. It was fine, bedding and towels were clean but there was a long dark hair in the shower that wasn't mine and the plug in the sink could do with descaling. The paintwork in the corridors near the lifts is looking tired and the orange paint underneath the sky blue is showing through. The staff at check in were really friendly so fair play to them at midnight on a Sunday! You get what you pay for and for £29.99 it did the job!

My stay at Stratford Travel lLodge was excellent for period of time I stayed for work and other official engagements.
The rooms very clean and other parts of
the premises. Customer service excellent and staff ready to help at all times especially Dee and Leslie; great team work.
I would recommend visitors to Travel lodge for business or leisure in due season. Rating will be 8 ,5 out of 10.
Free Wifi could be inclusive .

Very nice hotel for what we paid. It’s just a few little pieces that have to be improved (your reception staff was fine but could be better and then your breakfast staff had an unhappy mood). Overall a nice place.
M. B.
Great hospitality , very welcoming, thank you very much to Andrei & Nish !

I stayed at this travel lodge for two days a week for four weeks, through the latter half of September and the beginning of October whilst working in London. I ate at the attached restaurant every day, and the food was always as ordered, and to a good standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful, Dee, Michelle and Fayaz in particular were always very positive. If you're working in Stratford I would definitely recommend this as a pleasant spot to stay.
J. C.
Bar closes at 10:30 PM! BREAKFAST starts at 7 am to late for me, have be at work at 7 am....

Great value for your stay. The pricing of the rooms are moderate, and you get good value too. Rooms are minimalist, but with great service. Location is very good, as it's very close to Stratford Train Station and the Westfield Shopping mall. The bus stop is also very close to the hotel. Overall, it's a good stay and highly recommended.

The room was very clean, but I would have liked to have had a hair dryer in the room. You can request one but is more convenient if left at the room. Only hand soap and shower gel included. It would be nice to include some shampoo .
Need to put some hooks to hang towels , there is no where to hang them to dry.
Breakfast quality very average . Sausages very cheap more bread than meat. Tasty hash browns though. Plenty of bacon.
They had fruit salad too.
S. B.
Hotel was perfectly adequate for the price, and reception staff were friendly. Location wasn't perfect but if it's what you can get them it's certainly not bad.
A. G.
Stayed for work, staff were so friendly and helpful which is so rare for a budget hotel in london!
No complaints with the room, really well soundproofed against the main road.
Happy hour is worth a look in the bar and really good breakfast buffet too.

We enjoyed our stay
Coming back again

Clean , cheap and good for a little time out. Quiet ,

Decent enough for a one night stay after a gig. Bus stop right outside of hotel and walking distance from Westfield.

Excellent clean and tidy meal Sunday evening was niceb

I have stayed here a few times and it's always been ideal for my needs. It's easy to find, staff are lovely and it's comfortable. Despite being on the main road, there is very little noise. I was therefore surprised to be awoken this morning by a horrid, screaming noise. We quickly realised that the window had been blown open and the wind was howling through into the bathroom, causing the extractor fan to whistle. The window was locked but the lock was obviously faulty. I reported it to reception as we left and the young lady was very apologetic and reported it to maintenance straightaway. Apart from that, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. There is a Bar Cafe but we didn't use it on this occasion.

Staff where friendly was cheap with 4 nights for 5 deal. Good clean standard. Not the Ritz but a fine standard
J. H.
The rooms are very cheap and so you shouldn't really be expecting luxury. The staff are really friendly here and actually seem happy to help. The rooms are clean, comfy beds with additional pillows if required. Bathroom has shower over bath, good water pressure and hot water. Location is great for the Westfield Centre and transport links. It's basic, but at the price you cannot complain.

Amazing for a budget hotel. The "super rooms" are truly super. Lovely bed, choice of pillows , fan, kettle, coffee machine. Met the delightful manager and other really dedicated staff. My disabled mother stayed there alone to be near us and they made her feel very safe, even offering to bring anything she needed to her room.

If you want to spend a short time visiting London and you don’t want to spend a fortune on doing so, then this is a hotel you should really consider staying at.
The rooms are clean, the beds are perfectly comfortable and I found that the room actually had a lot of spare space. I found it quite hard to see the tv however as it is really small but my vision isn’t the greatest so this may bother you at all.
The breakfast buffet is fine. They have the standard English breakfast stuff, a small variety of tea and coffee, juice, toast, fruit and cereal. Good stuff!
This hotel is placed in a brilliant place for public transport: there is a bus stop right outside the entrance, Stratford station is 5-10 minutes walk away (depending on how quickly you walk) but there is also Stratford high street station which is even closer to the hotel than Stratford (I would only recommend using this station if you’re going to West Ham or Stratford international station).
So in conclusion : this hotel is great value for money and is in a really accessible location.
H. F.
The staff are lovely, couldn't be more helpful. The bar service was good too. Breakfast was good for the price/offering - it's a buffet so don't expect a fresh fry up. My only criticism is that I was placed on the 9th floor, it was the hottest day in 2019 and although there were two fans it was uncomfortably hot. In the morning when it was cooler outside it was still roasting up there so getting ready to leave was a task. I would stay here again and hope that it is cooler next time!

Spent 4 days at travel lodge Stratford and we loved it. The kids loved to hotel and did not want to come home lol 😆

Reception staff very friendly and welcoming and happy to be accommodating.
Room clean tidy with a fantastic bed and tv mounted on the wall.

Great stay at Stratford London, Clean and fresh ,staff very helpful and friendly.
M. G.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. The only downside was the room was very warm (stayed early September '16), a desk fan was was provided in the room that eased the situation.
Late bar service food was good, especially the pizza and chips. Breakfast was good, plenty available on the buffet.
I would stay here again when it's cooler.

Great experience, will book it again!!

Typical hotel with long corridors and square rooms - all very basic in my opinion. Rooms with cold clinical decor made me feel like I was in student halls or a hospital. Wardrobe in the room was just a small open rail in the corner with a shelf above it. Small dressing table/ desk, 2 uncomfortable plastic chairs. Cheap kettle and tea bags / coffee. No water.
No nice touches in room and certainly no luxury, just very basic essentials.
Lady that works on nights in the bar area was very helpful and friendly. I felt comfortable and relaxed.
Very efficient on the front desk when checking in and out - in fact probably the fastest and easiest I've ever experienced for a hotel. No complains on the hotel it was clean and functional and it served a purpose. However, I would not choose to stay here again.

Generally you know what you are getting when you book, and that is the kind of standard that you expect. Check in process, good, efficient and friendly. Room - ok, clean and well presented, however a bit of a.funny smell (not unpleasant, but a little over-powering). We booked a family room and the additional beds were really old and not comfy, a bit more care needed there. Food and staff, all as expected, reasonable quality food for the price and staff who are friendly. Overall a nice stay 7/10

This is a reasonably good standard of budget hotel. Room was bright, airy and most importantly clean. My room had a nice view down towards Canary wharf. The facilities are reasonably good: good shower etc. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful with a good selection to satisfy all tastes.
There is very little contact with staff other than at reception, but these were very friendly and welcoming.
The location is very handy for Stratford and the Olympic park with easy access to Straford High Street tube station and the main Stratford main rail station.
C. L. H.
Now, to be fair I was staying there, just meeting a friend. I will say it was very easy to find as it on the main road. The receptionist was kinda neutral... once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor. The room was tiny but you had what you needed for an overnight stay. Downside for me was instead of a wardrobe toy had a shelf/hanger installation that I managed to hit my head with on more that one occasion. The tv was also intruding more than it should into the space. And the desk lamp didn’t work? Again, I was just a temporary guest and my friend was more than happy being an overnight guest. Not me though. Maybe if your smaller than 6ft it might be a little more suited. Clean and tidy though.

Loud location and hot rooms even with the heating off. Window had to be open and that was the noise issue along with the people in the room above. Bathroom was very small and had to get inside to close the door fully. Shower curtain just hugged you whenever you tried to shower and was a real pain.
Comfy beds and great breakfast.

The hotel staff that we met were all polite and the managerial staff were very very helpful Darren and Kate and the young man Joe on reception. Although the cleanliness was poor. We had a twin room with fleecy type bottom sheets which had hair attached the bedding. Therefore we were moved rooms and offered two separate double rooms. One of which had a slight stain and underwear the mattress protector was covered in urine and period stains. The room was changed again at 2am. The 'wardrobe space- in the 1st room was dusty and the clean towel for the bathroom was kept on top. The key card wouldnt let us in at one point and had to go and get it reset. No phone in the rooms to call reception. Other than this the hotel was fine and easy and quick and breakfast was very standard, the sausages were just about average and the only egg offered was scrambled and the croissant wasn't fresh.
M. G.
The room was a good size and I appreciated the effort taken to swap the duvet for a sheet due to the recent heat, that takes thought and clearly shows the hotel puts guests first. I also had breakfast which was plentiful and of a good standard. The staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. I would recommend a stay.
T. P.
Typical Travelodge standard. Reasonable quality room and nice facilities. Reason for my low review is the noise. We were in a super room which was on one of the higher floors (12th) and it was incredibly noisy from outside. Lower down rooms would even worse but there was a note at reception advising they offer free ear plugs!
A. A.
My experience for the most part was very good, the staff were polite and friendly and the night staff should excellent customer service. The rooms were beautiful clean and tidy. You could really see that it was a top notch hotel. However there was one occasion on my last night when the guest next door where been very intimate which each other which kept me up most of the night. I am not the sort of person that likes to cause trouble so I tried to ignore it but it was especially annoying since I had work at 6am. I wish the night staff could have sorted it out.
R. B.
Obviously not the pinnacle of luxury but very good value for money in what's not a bad location at all, 5-10 mins walk to Westfield, the tube stations and the West Ham ground... West haaaaim!
H. C.
Very basic Hotel. 4 stars because it is really clean. Rooms and bathrooms are small and you should ask for a backside room. Service friendly. Reasonably priced with excellent connection through nearby Stratford Station. No airconditioning. Breakfast is ok with a good coffee machine.
G. T.
This located about 10 minute walk from the station on a Main road, prices where cheap on £29. I stayed for two days during a work stay so needed something convenient and quick.
I was placed on the 6th floor which in comparison to other reviews I hardly heard any nosie and slept very well. The room was clean, plenty of space, bathroom large enough. Shower was clean. There is additional fan and a heater so if you are feeling hot or cold you will be fine. I asked for an iron and they were accommodating. I only had Dinner a chicken burger with an apple pie for £12. The hotel front desk was friendly and gave information on the area.
S.
It's a Lodge so same as any. Staff very friendly and it's very quiet. Rooms very small and my window was jammed shut. Very expensive for location, for no reason. Needs to be much cheaper to use it again

Room was clean and breakfast was good would stay there again
A. E.
The hotel was very clean and tidy, rooms had tea/coffee facilities. The restaurant was clean, and the breakfast we had was good value for money. We had a good night's sleep and weren't woken by any noise from the road. The only issue was a lack of hot water in the saturday night /Sunday morning.
