D. M.On arrival there was a small problem with the room allocated for me. This was quickly resolved. There was another issue regarding towels and refreshing my tea, milk station in my room. I was told the cleaners were very busy, therefore I wasn't given clean towels. I find this unacceptable as someone should have checked regardless. The rest of my time there was great. Breakfast was good.

A. F.Perfectly acceptable Travelodge. Not many parking spaces available but easy to find free on-street parking in this location. Room was a little dark but clean and well maintained. Did not have any meals here so cannot comment on catering. Rooms facing on to car park are fairly free from traffic noise.
C. “. F.Room small but functional. Had coffee making stuff but we never used them. We were accommodated 2 floors above the entrance which was noisy with other guests coming and going. Take your own toilet paper as the one provided is very very poor standard.

The other gripe, beautiful hotel, then you have staff smoking as you either enter or leave the hotel.
R. G.Nice low key spot. Good restaurants close by within a 5min drive. Hotel room was clean the WiFi is TERRIBLE!! Your own personal WiFi won't work here forcing you to purchase their WiFi and even then it still lags. Was unable to complete important work due to the unstability of the WiFi. Standard room has bed and bathroom, not even a mini fridge.

1. Very reasonably priced (we paid £29/night) for clean room and bed (beds never quite as nice as Premier Inn's though). [local branches]
2. Suitably sized TV for the room; sometimes found to be a little small in others. [this branch]
3. Bathroom, though on the small side, had a bath with shower as opposed only a shower cubicle as many do. [this branch]
4. Although rarely needed, staff pleasant whenever they were. [this branch]
5. Quiet and no discernible noise from other guests. [this branch]
*6. Ability to reserve room for arrival/payment after midnight, as well as pay cash without incurring an absurd premium to do so, massive plus and a huge advantage over their rival Premier Inns. [local branches]
Only frustrations were:
1. Is located 10 minute walk from the only local ATM (Post Office, Whetstone High Road) if one requires cash. [this branch]
2. Check-in not until 3pm yet check-out still 12pm; feel could easily amend to either earlier check-in/same check-out 2pm/12pm or same check-in/later check-out 3pm/1pm. [local branches]
3. Free WiFi only available for half an hour per day; affects ability to use streaming services, SMART TV sticks etc. [local branches]
*4. No plugs next to beds, plugs which are available are too few nowadays and located in inconvenient positions around the hotel room (found this to be the case with the majority of Travelodges we have visited, possibly deliberate?). [local branches]
As stated already, for our needs in particular, the ability to reserve over the telephone, arrive after 12am, and to be able to pay cash (rather than always being forced to book and pay online, regardless of one's circumstances) are huge selling points ahead of Travelodge's competitors.
As with the other branches we have stayed at, given the price and those rates being per room as opposed to per person, one cannot reasonably expect more.
J. C.Clean comfortable and a good location. Only gripe was disabled blue badge bays all taken by cars with no badges,had to park outside which was difficult.

Brilliant: Mobin S (Manager) definitely went above and beyond (the combination lock on my laptop security cable broke and I couldn't unattach my laptop from a Travelodge chair - Mobin went home and got some cable cutters and then spent 15 minutes to get through the security cable) - huge thanks from me, really appreciate the help you gave
Not good: since Virgin Wi-Fi did an upgrade on the Wi-Fi/network at the Travelodge about 4-6 weeks ago - can't access Microsoft Office 365 and other important business online services. Please fix asap!!

More appointments in London so back to the same Travelodge.
Staff (day and night) were again incrediby friendly and helpful.... so, this time, I actually wrote down their names!

Travelodge management: please give these people an official gold star (or whatever it is you chaps do for recognition).
I'm a Marriott Gold Member for life (very nearly Life Platinum), so I've stayed in hotels for a lot of nights (it's a work thing), and my biggest judgement on a hotel is the attitude of the staff (NOT whether or not a hotel has the swankiest swimming pool or restaurant, those are extras, but not the most important things). I've stayed in other Travelodges (outside London) where the staff have made Ryanair seem like a 5 star experience - this Travelodge (and London Finchley Central too) is completely different as the staff are so friendly and so ready to help.
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
And... a huge apology to Ibrahim (night security chap) because whilst trying to find the bedside light in the dark, I accidentally triggered the disabled alarm (I was in an accessible room). Thanks for responding so quickly, and thanks for being so relaxed about my mistake.
BTW - I expect I'll be back in a month or so...

Staff (all of them!) were incredibly helpful and I am very grateful for this (I am disabled, have problems carrying luggage, walking very far, etc).
Parking is very limited, but the staff showed me where I could just squeeze my car in...
Stayed two nights, unfortunately on the second night had my sleep disturbed for hours, because:
The accessible room is near the lifts, and idiots seem to like having shouting matches outside the lift (up to 2.30am in the morning).
Also one of the other rooms (could have been next door, could have been immediately underneath) decided to have a karaoke party which went on (and off and on...) even later than that.
And before that, there was a bit of a party at the outside smoking area (which unfortunately for me was immediately below my window).
Other:
its a non-smoking hotel (most are nowadays) but the smell of weed was persistently strong... so people might not be smoking tobacco, but they were certainly smoking something. I don't mind so much about the weed, it's just that the rest of us have to schlep down to the ground floor and go outside if we want a cigarette, so its really annoying when other people are smoking inside and the rest of us can't.
Other2:
The internet failed on my last day (I had pre-paid for the whole stay) which was incredibly annoying when you are trying to finish an important business document (which is the reason why you paid for the internet in the first place).
The internet failure was for the whole Travelodge, as the manager lady couldn't get her computer to work either.
Note: even when it was working, the internet was c. 5Mbps download and 0.6Mbps Upload (so the Upload was too slow for a video-call).

S. S.This could be such a nice hotel as very clean and very helpful staff. It needs air con though, or heavier curtains to keep the heat out on hot summer days. The fan provided should be larger as well. I would stay here again in the winter months when it would be cosy. The TV placed on the wall is a good idea and works well. The breakfast area should also be made more comfy and welcoming but for few nights stay this is a good convenient hotel.
N. H.Was very clean, room is exactly what you expect in a travelodge. Breakfast was nice and hot. My 5* review is mostly based on the fact that my husband accidentally left an item of Jewellery in the room which was his late fathers and very precious, I rang back when we realised the day after and thankfully one of the lovely (and honest) cleaning team handed it in. The travel lodge reception team then kindly posted it back in a padded envelope. We are extremely grateful! Thank you!

M. M.This is a no frills hotel, but I really liked it. We were in a family room, which is just big enough to accommodate the 3 beds for my wife and I and our two kids (with our luggage you can barely walk through the room). The room and bathroom are clean. There is a kettle, instant coffee, tea, and mugs in the room. The hotel is a little bit off the main road, so it is quiet. The breakfast is pretty good, but there are also a few places nearby to get something. Parking in the hotel lot is difficult, but it's easy to park nearby. It's about a ten minute walk to the tube into central London. I would definitely stay here again!
D. M.Reception were polite and informative. Room was clean if slightly Petit. Went to the bar for a look around and might of had a pint but there were no staff. Hotel was quiet and we got a good night's sleeps. Only issue was the the bathroom sink drained slowly. Other than that 5 out of 5.
B. R.I spent one night in this hotel, which is near the end of the Northern line, or about an hour from central London by bus. The room was clean and quiet, with no faults. The staff were friendly, and the bar was open late (into the early hours). We didn't have breakfast, but all you can eat cooked breakfast was available for £8.25, which seemed reasonable. There were several cafés and shops nearby too, for an alternative option. There was a busy road outside our room, but the soundproofing was excellent, so not an issue. There was heating, but no air conditioning, so it might have been too hot in the middle of summer, although there was a fan in the room.
D. C.Hotel is well positioned, with a small amout of parking to the rear. The addition of a bar and food is a bonus, although the prices may make your eyes water. £4.85 for a small bottle of beer, guess that's London. The cafe and bar are roomy, breakfast was buffet style and reasonable selection.
A. R.Ideal location as work was close by. Room was decent though the bed was uncomfortable. The service was 50/50 depending on the staff. Upon arrival the lady was very helpful with information and with the room. The next day, however, another staff member was extremely unhelpful when inquiring about the menu and the gluten free options. Which she said there were none.
M. O. B.Great place to stay in Totteridge. Comfortable beds and clean room's. You can get food and beers at the bar 24/7. Highly recommend. Sybel was on for two of our three night's stay and she was fantastic.

Q. S.Not my first visit. Best used as a business stop. Car parking is very limited. Only thing I noticed on this visit is the bathroom light. It seems to have a built in 10 second delay. Small dim ones come on immediately, useful in the dark but not when it's daytime
M. O.Warm, quiet, comfortable. A solid 3 star hotel. About 10 parking bays, first come first served, nothing to display. Capacity doubles between 20:00 and 08:00 because you can use the Halford's bays. Don't expect any frills. Breakfast is edible but M&S foodhall next door is cheaper and better and cafes just two minutes further down the road serve real coffee.
M. H.Van robbed overnight, and apparently this is not uncommon at this Travelodge, besides that the hotel is as expected for the price, also can be hard to get a parking space, not that id want to park there again anyway.
p. 1.We stayed here for a week. All members of staff very accommodating. We were able to store food in the fridge and warm up. That was greatly appreciated! Limited parking however plenty off street.
w.For a budget hotel this is really good. Staff are friendly and the fact evening meals and a bar is available makes it a very comfortable stop. My only very minor issue is parking which is limited (free) but try most London hotels and there's no parking at all.

S. A.Good clean rooms. However the windows are thin and therefore the road noise outside the hotel is an annoyance throughout the night if you are a light sleeper. Also people chatting outside the entrance to the hotel can be clearly heard (even on the 3rd floor)

J. H.I stayed at this hotel recently and really enjoyed it (best hotel experience I’ve ever had), the staff were exceptionally great because they helped me with every I needed help with. For instance they gave me a number of restaurants to visit and also some things to do in the local area. Overall a very nice experience and will definitely recommend to family and friends. I’ve stayed in other travelodges accross the country before and have never had better customer service than this specific travelodge location.

Her words!!! What a lovely experience it was when we arrived at this well ecquiped lodge. The staff were super friendly and very professional.
Bianca Brits the manager was also a SouthAfrican, so you can imagine how lovely that was.We felt so welcome and at home.
Bianca and her staff really went out of their way to accommodate us.
I can highly recommend this establishment for a lovely stay .
If ever in that area again we will certainly stay with them again.

R. T.Great easy to get to base to visit London from. 8-10 min walk to tube station and you you will be in central London in about an hour. Rooms are clean and tidy, and fab breakfast.

F.i will try and give an informed review for the benefit of anyone visiting london for the first time,and looking for somewhere to stay firstly this hotel is about 11 miles frm victoria coach station,and be aware normal check in as from 3pm,but be aware if you are using either a bus or car to get to the hotel as traffic is a total nightmare,as this was our first time in london we got an uber taxi for the 10.1 mile journey which took us almost 2 and a half hours to get there and beware if you are going to be using uber to get there we were given an estimate of £27 before we booked the car but it cost us £51 with uber you pay for the time you are stuck in the traffic,so i reccomend heading to your hotel between 10am and 1pm or after 5.30pm,the hotel itself was very nice lifts to the rooms ,the staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean, the showers are superb and the food is great too with the full english breakfast setting you up for the day ahead the beds are very comfortable ,my only complaint was i could not get any wifi connection on my mobile phone but if you use the wifi from the hotel its ok,public trransport in the area is superb with the underground and buses etc so i would reccomend this hotel to stay in but if you are planning to go to any shows etc please leave yourself plenty of travel time

s. c.On arrival management at reception was dressing down her staff was very uncomfortable for us. Later same manageress was dressing down bar staff really good conduct infrount of clients of the hotel. I even mentioned to one of the staff that it was uncomfortable he apologised and responded she always does it.. i was enjoying a nice breafast great selection full English and cerals until asked if I had paid for it from the other side of the resturant for all to hear which I had then continued with all the other guest 1 was even ask to pay mid meal.
Other than that staff and hotel was good.

Eg window could not be opened, so I could not ventilate. 🤒The shower head is small, narrow, and the shower curtain adheres to the wet body on the shower curtain. If I do not plug it in, the water will run out of chlorine, but there will be no drainage on the outside, so all the bathroom is under water. I didn't find anything that could turn up the water. 😡 Breakfast is delicious and delicious. There is a vegan food option. SzobaThe room and the brain are comfortable, clean. The staff is kind and attentive. Otherwise it is in a quiet and good location. There are shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. Bus, metro, parking all in one place.
