O. G. N.Female Customer reviewing Travelodge Wood Green. Stayed 8 weeks straight with 2 sons. My sons had a very spacious family room with very clean ensuite toilet and bathroom. The large window over looking the mall and three gorgeous restaurants, had burst of light streaming into the room every morning to create a beautiful ambiance and energy in the room. My boys (16 and 20) loved spreading the curtains wide open every morning. You can't help not feeling energised every time you work into the room. The hallways are clean and quiet. I had a double room with ensuite toilet and bathroom which was also very clean, spacious and really quiet. So I had excellent night sleeps on the very comfortable wide bed throughout my 8 weeks stay.
The hotel has easy access to buses and underground trains going into central London and other parts of it. There's no mini fridge or microwave, but right outside the entrance on the high road are a string of restaurants and fast food shops (Mcdonald, KFC, Burger king, Kebab shops, Chicken and chip shops, Chinese restaurant, Turkish restaurants, Wetherspoon, Pubs, Starbucks etc). It is located near a very good shopping mall, a really long high street nicknamed "the next Oxford street" which has 4 fruit markets, 3 big supermarkets (Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Lidl), lots of cloth and shoe shops, 2 big perfume shops, superstores (like Wilko, Boots, Superdrugs Argos, JD, primark, Matalan, H&M, TK Maxx etc), 2 big cinemas (Vue, Cineworld), hair and beauty salons, dry cleaner and shoe repair shop, library, banks (Barclays, Halifax, Natwest, Santander etc) and much more all within working distance.
The hotel offers breakfast, Internet access and validated parking for guests and visitors. The rooms have television, open shelf with hangers for cloth, day and night lights, a sizeable desk and 2 love comfortable arm chairs that match the hotel brand. My room has 5 sockets (enough for charging my phones, using hair dryer etc). There are 2 sockets for shaving in the bath. The reception is staffed 24 ×7 and the staff are so friendly, polite, very accommodating, patient, always willing to help to the best of their abilities. Nothing was too much for them to offer. From the cleaners (e.g. Paquerette) to the Manager to the rest of the staff (e.g. Teresa and Jawaid). Teresa and Jawaid made my stay super from day one - checking-in. Very kind and friendly. Their level of competence and professionalism is equal to any staff in a very expensive luxury 5-star hotel. Very good price for what you get...I definitely give it 5-stars. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Ask for Teresa and Jawaid, and tell them I said "Hi".

M. M. p.It’s the second time we are using this hotel and we are so glad we met JAWAID. He made our first stayed amazing despite we had to come because we had a gas problem at home. Tonight we are using them again and he did remember us, I’ve been in many places in the world but I never encountered such a professional person, he is super kind and seriously... he should be promoted!!! A. T.Stayed here on several visits to London and it's our go to hotel to stay at. Ideally located for a tube station while also offering free parking for guests at the Travelodge. Plenty of places to eat nearby and within a shopping centre. Staff are friendly and helpful, room was clean and quietly situated.

R. B.The accommodation is good. There is free parking adjacent to the hotel. With a good size shopping mall also adjacent as well as good local restaurants and pubs this is great. Also Wood Green tube station is 3 minutes walk from the hotel, and you can get into central London without changing trains in about 20 minutes. Ideal place to stay.

A. R.Good value for money. Expect a clean basic room with comfortable bed, a desk, few hangers and a small but clean bathroom. There's no wardrobe so be aware that you'll need to keep more clothes in the suitcase. Each room has a kettle, tea and coffee. You can get iron and hairdryer from the reception. The hotel is located a short walk from Wood Green station, from where you can get to the centre in 20 minutes (depending where you're going).
B. B.The room was small, clean and had everything you'd expect to find in a budget hotel. On request you could get an iron and a hairdryer from reception. Free parking is a bonus.
Lots of shops and places to eat around. If you're going to eat out once only go to the Turkish restaurant across the street Capital! Delicious, freshly prepared food and a very generous portions. Did I mentioned the service? - excellent! and the low prices for the high quality of the meals they offer! Definitely recommend!
U. M.You get what you pay for, I have no real complaints. The only things I'd hope for are some bottled waters and a stronger pressure shower head, but ultimately, I was very content with the service provided.

The power was amazing and made my back feel like it was receiving a massage. The bed was super comfy and the amenities adequate. Loved the baby kettle! Extra tea and coffee provisions were available on the reception desk.
J. M.Great location easy walk from tube station. 24hr reception, there was a group of four of us (3 rooms) 2/3 of us checked in late at night and it wasn't an issue. We forewarned reception that we would be late and my friend didn't so they rang to make sure she was still checking in. Woman at reception who checked us in was super friendly and the rooms were clean! No bar or restaurant but not an issue as we didn't need them and the staff were happy to recommend somewhere local.

What an amazing accommodating professional Team
I stay in some real high end hotels across the world but this team at the Travel Lodge Wood Green are awesome.

S. P.Stayed on a weekend visiting London. Lovely clean rooms. Even though it's on a busy road we didn't hear any noise that could keep you awake at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and if you have kids they have parking spaces reserved right outside the entrance to help make life that little bit easier. Couple of minutes walk to the tube station. Doesn't have a café or restaurant attached, but that isn't a problem as there are loads of places to eat close by. Cannot think of a single negative for the price, which can be really cheap if you book at the right time (early).
G. D.Really handy for Wood Green tube station - just a 5minute walk. It's also in the centre of Wood green so there are lots of shops and restaurants around. Teresa, who checked us in, was the loveliest and made us feel very welcome. Clean, tidy bedroom with plenty of space and kettle with tea/coffee. Good value for money, especially in London.

M. H.Always a bit wary of booking a hotel in the London area but this was absolutely fine. Parking is joined onto the hotel and free to guests. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th floor and the views were great. There is a huge selection of places to eat right outside the door along with lots of shops and even a cinema. Wood Green tube station is 5 minutes walk away. It isn't quiet outside as the traffic goes past all night and I think there is a night club open till late Friday and Saturday nights but coming from a quiet village we found it fascinating to watch the hustle and bustle of London life. I suspect that the rooms at the back of the building will be quiet but as I said we weren't bothered at all. In fact we have booked to stay again next weekend.
Just an update. We stayed for our second weekend and had a room at the back and it was incredibly quiet, not a sound to be heard. So if you book ask for a room at the back unless you like to be nosey and watch the world go by.

Short walk from the tube which is 25 mins to London and jot far from alexandra Palace.
Be warned parking is jot sign posted or easy to find so make sure you look at the website for directions prior to arrival

J. T.Stayed the night after going to a concert at Ally Pally. Perfect location. 2 minutes walk from tube station and shuttle bus. Hotel was really comfortable and considering its location very quiet. What made the hotel though were the staff. They were very welcoming and seemed to genuinely be happy in their jobs and wanting to make sure your stay was the best it could be.

S. O.You have to bring everything like washcloth the outlet is different from ours so you have to bring an adapter otherwise you have to buy . This is if you have to curl your hair you need this adapter in order to do so and they don't provide it. also they don't have a phone in the room so if your phone does not work over there you have to go downstairs for everything. You also have to be out of the room by 1 p. M. For them to clean it otherwise you'll have to stand outside and let them clean the room then you can go back in are you have to clean the room yourself before you leave. The good thing about this hotel is that the mall , bank and restaurants they are across the street from the hotel. They do not take credit cards or debit cards you must have their currency.
E. A.For the price, it's really good! It's round the back of the shopping centre (you have to get the lift up to the second floor for reception) but it's quiet, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I would definitely go again if I needed to be in Wood Green.
P.Have stayed here twice now and was v happy to see Allesia again! She is absolutely lovely - a ray of sunshine at any time of day, always friendly, cheerful and knowledgable and really went out of her way to help me and make me feel welcome on both occasions. All the staff here have been wonderful to me but Allesia particularly stands out. A nice, quiet place to stay amidst the chaos of Wood Green - I hope to return soon!

However this time my stay was marred by the car park! All the signs point to it saying it’s secure. But it’s not!! The Catalytic Converter on my car was stolen whilst parked up. That’s £1200 quid out of pocket!
Security came to look. Admitted that I was the ‘first that day’ and it’s well known that it happens. Even to pointing out that they’ve seen people in hi vis jackets doing the job! Whilst I was with the guard another car park user told us his had been stolen two weeks previously. And that the security was a joke.
So. If you want to stay at the Travelodge don’t use the carpark. If I’d have done that they’d have had a higher star rating.
The car park lights weren’t on at 8am when I went to my car so if you’re going to your car early morning. Take a torch.
According to the Mall at Wood Greens website. They have an award winning secure and safe car park. Misinformation at its best. CCTV and Patrols. Yes only to get people who try to leave without paying or losing their tickets. By all means use the Travelodge. That’s okay. But don’t use the Car Park. I got 4 days free parking which ended up costing me an insurance claim and a massive hike on my premium!!.
Plus. They don’t bother checking the CCTV to check wether they have anything on camera.

S. H.Just outside the central belt and a fairly new hotel. Absolutely spotless and very quiet . This was my 2nd visit to Wood Green- slightly out of my way but worth it just for the cleanliness. Staff I met were very friendly and helpful too.
J. H.Very nice budget hotel with convenient underground station nearby, free parking right at the reception that is on the second floor of the parking of the mall. Piccadilly underground line goes through London all the way to Heathrow.
No cafe or restaurant in the hotel but outside in the street have everything that your heart desires 🤪.
Room was very good for our family of 4 with a smart tv and a normal shower (premier inn has not ) really had a great time and will be 1st choice for us afer being a premier inn customer for a long time.

C. D.I give 3*** because as much as it was good space and clean, I don't think they offered enough in the Family room considering I had my misses and 2 daughters ages 3yrs and 3mnths old. They only had one small shelf with few hangers underneath and one table top which can hardly fit much on. All clothing had to be on the floor, so cleaners clean around them I believe as they may not be allowed to tamper with personal stuff. No fridge for anything requiring cold storage for the baby although they offered an option to use fridge on the 3rd floor, we was on the 5th floor. All in all we still made the best of our time but more can be done for family with Babies etc.

USB Chargers in the wall next to the bed, silent ventilation for fresh air and separate A/C, showers with good pressure and hot water, comfortable beds.
The underground station with Picadilly line (goes straight to the airport) is just a few minutes away. The area feels quite safe and lively, there's a big mall right next to the hotel.
The breakfast is basically convencience food, so I had breakfast at the turkish place on the other side of the road instead (Kervan Sofrasi).

Also from neighbors here you nothing. Breakfast is not available in the 80-room hotel. It's just too small for that. But opposite there is a Morrison with very good breakfast, a Wetherspoon pub and some cafes, where from eight o'clock for 5-6 pounds get something on the plate.

Das neue travelodge ist wirklich gut gemacht. Die Schallisolierung sperrt die belebte Einkaufsstraße und den Verkehrslärm sehr gründlich aus den kleinen und sauberen Zimmer. Auch von Nachbarn hier man nichts. Frühstück gibt es in dem rund 80 Zimmer großen Hotel nicht. Dazu ist es einfach zu klein. Aber gegenüber gibt es ein Morrison mit sehr gutem Frühstücksangebot, ein Wetherspoon Pub und einige Cafés, in denen man bereits ab acht Uhr für 5-6 Pfund ordentlich etwas auf den Teller bekommt.
