This all (well, most of it): good room, tiny but all that is really needed for a quick trip to London; superb location; attractive, quirky building; highly competitive price; pleasant, efficient staff. No breakfast but why compete in one of the best breakfasted areas in London: why be in Bloomsbury without getting out there?

Very small single room (I could barely open my suitcase) and the night staff wasn’t really all that nice plus my card didn’t work at first. (Neither did the reading lamp over the bed.) When I arrived at 2am that was very annoying. The hotel itself is quite confusing and the corridors and stairs quite narrow. But: the room was clean, as was the bathroom. Morning stuff was friendly and even though I’d normally say it was overpriced, I did book sort of last minute and you pay for the excellent location near Kings Cross.

The room is clean functional and simple. Just what you need for a quick stop over before a journey. There are alot of stairs and no lift, and it's very narrow so not suitable if you like the extra room. The rooms also got very warm but it was a warm day and cold down with a fully open window. Just right for our needs

Small but (almost) perfectly formed ... this has to be the tiniest hotel room I've ever slept in - I booked a single - but it was adequate for my needs. I spent two nights here. Everything worked: lights, tv, kettle, shower, etc. The window opened and the curtains drew. There was plenty of coffee and power points. However it was really small and up 3 flights of narrow steps so, frankly, if you're fat or unfit you're probably not going to enjoy the experience. Cheap for London and it did for me.

Clean rooms and very conveniently located for the price. The rooms are pretty tiny, but that's to be expected for a budget hotel in London. It was pretty noisy, both through the walls and the windows, and the staff could be a bit more friendly/helpful, but otherwise a solid choice.

Needed a place to sleep that was near to St. Pancras/ Kings Cross, so this was the best option available at the time for the price. I booked a stay for two nights as I was travelling out of London. The location came in very handy for me to walk to the station on the morning as it's only a two minute walk, so no complaints there. The staff were friendly and gave a fast check in alongside any needed extra information. Upon arrival I was informed my room was now a triple as opposed to a double, so that was nice for extra space. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean, the maids came in to clean in the afternoon but not moving any personal things around, which was respected. My only complaints would be the bathroom size being very small so there was not much space to move after I'd showered. The sink was also very small so could not fit the kettle under the taps to make a coffee, but these are all minor things. In the night and early morning there would be a knock which continued repeatedly every few minutes, it sounded as though it had come from our door, but must have been another door, or a door banging round in the wind or something, which was a small annoyance when trying to sleep. Aside from that, there was no noise from outdoors, which you might expect in busy areas.The room did get very hot on a night, there seemed to be no air conditioning, and the window didn't open enough to let enough air in, but if you can look past these minor factors, the stay was as expected and good enough for the price. Check out was fast and easy. I would look into staying here again, especially handy if you are wanting a great location with only a short walk from the main railway stations and shops/ eating outlets.

I don't know what to say. Perfect location for an early morning train, only a block away. This place was so odd it will give us laughs forever. We stayed here 2 nights, in two different rooms. It was mostly clean with bug spray left in the room, just in case. No bugs found. The first room we stayed in was in the basement and the view was of some kind of shed. I called in the Jack the Ripper special. I will try to post a picture. The second night we stayed on the first floor and our view was also a shed/parking lot with a window that would not lock. We were too tired to complain since we were leaving at 6 am anyway. Would I stay here again? Yes! The location trumps everything else.

The room's small but cosy, clean as well. It's located really close to St Pancras station, once inside your most likely have to climb a few stairs just check your room ensure you go up the correct ones. The 24 hour reception is convenient but a little awkward for stay longer than a few days, wish they had another entrance.

Good, simple and cheap hotel to stay in London. It is in agreat location, just 3 minutes by foot from the King's Cross station. The double room is pretty small with enough space to walk around the bed, a tiny table and a chair. The bathroom is also small but with a great space for shower. There is no elevator and the wifi is a bit slow. In the room there is a small heater to prepare coffee or tea. In our case the spoon was very dirty si we didn't make use of the cups. Nevertheless, in general i am very pleased with the hotel. That was the secomd time that i booked there and i would stay again at a future opportunity. The combination of good price, friendly staff and great location make it to worth it.

We had a "cool basement room and this needed air-conditioning. The room was small to say the least. Sink not really big enough to wash your hands in but shower worked well. Ideally located for St. Pancras and acceptable for 1 night but no longer.

It was fine, but we had a basement room and the smell of cigarettes from the street was constant and you can hear people upstairs stomping loudly. Also the light in our bathroom went out one night and no one was around to fix it until tomorrow. I also found old takeput boxes under the bed.

Thr hotel's location was great, one minute walk from King's cross St. Pancras station. Our room was very tiny, as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfy. The room contained a kettle, coffee and tea and a Tv. The wifi signal wasn't good enough. In the room there was a big window with a view. The staff was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there was no option for breakfast. Around the hotel there were a lot of restaurants and stores.

Very comfortable beds, which is all you really need from a hotel when you're a london tourist. Rooms aren't too small for the price. Rather old, rusty and somewhat worn down bathroom but fine for a traveler who just sleeps and freshens up in his hotel room. Shower was still comfortable. It's an old-ish building, this means floors creek and squeak when people walk around so if you're someone who would be bothered by this, you'll need to increase your budget and get a newly built hotel! After a long day walking around london, this didn't keep me awake one single bit though! ;) Very close to kings cross st pancrass station/underground, which makes it super easy to get anywhere in London. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff was kind, room was small, bathroom very small, but it was comfortable. The TV was in a great place and the location was pretty close to perfect. However. It was so hot when we visited in September and despite having AC in place, they refused to turn it on. So with our only option being to open the window that's what we were stuck with. Four bees welcomed themselves into the room which created mayhem, albeit a funny story. I had to sleep with a wet towel on me... seriously it was that got and I'm from Texas, I know heat. The corridors are tiny, really tiny. We're not large people at all. Basically you felt like you were suffocating, but the location really helps.

Nice, friendly and clean hotel. Stayed the second time their. Floors, rooms and bathrooms are quite small´, but this is normal in London. Rooms were cleaned daily. Towels were changed daily too. Just 2 - 5 minutes walk to King´s Cross Station, St Pancras Station and King's Cross St Pancras Tube Station. Even if it´s so close to the main road Euston road, it´s rather quite, because it´s at the end of Argyle Street. Hotel doens´t offer breakfast and has no restaurant, but you can eat it next to in McGlynn's Free House pub. Alternative their are many Restaurants in and around the stations. WiFi is free too.

Very rarely I have a bad experience with hotels, but unfortunately this was one of them... Staff was great not a problem, every so polite and helpful with everything through check in, room allocation, check out and let us leave our bags... Room it self, was average, very clean up beat and modern not a problem there it self, just small, just enough room to open the door to the bathroom and walk round to the over side of the double bed... Bed very comfy, the problems arose half way through the night, the extractor fan in the bathroom decided to kick in and not turn off, they was extremely loud and kept us both up most of the night untill I found the mains for it and turned it off... Getting back to sleep we got another wake up call with the builders starting there power tools early on unfortunately... Other than the wake up calls (might just be our room we had) great hotel just a little pricey for what we got :/

Unfortunately very badly soundproofed, but you have to say that the guests can be very rude if they talk loudly until two o'clock at night. The stairs are so narrow and narrow that I couldn't carry my heavy suitcase to the second floor. Unfortunately there is no elevator either. But there is a room behind the reception to store luggage. Die Treppen sind so eng und schmal das ich meinen schweren Koffer nicht in den zweiten Stock tragen konnte. Leider gibt es auch keinen Aufzug. Dafür gibt es aber hinter der Rezeption ein Raum um das Gepäck unterzubringen. Wertsachen natürlich rausnehmen, da nicht überwacht. Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten.

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist nochmal besonders hervorzuheben, da gibt es wirklich nichts zu meckern. Wer ein günstiges Hotel mit dieser Lage und Anbindung sucht ist hier genau richtig!
