You have to write a review with the price paid fairly reflected. For being in London I felt I paid a budget price. The staff were very friendly, and professional. The room was not big, but perfectly adequate. More importantly - it was clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable and I slept well. There was a small problem I raised with Reception and it was rectified immediately and with a positive attitude. The best way to judge an establishment is the way it puts its mistakes right - and they were spot on. I would definitely stay again.

Reception was friendly and great. Customer service was excellent. We were given a choice of two rooms and we chose the bigger one but the rooms were still a bit small. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms was decently sized but the shower was a bit small as well. However, the bathroom was cleaned everyday and it was spotless when we first arrived. We were also given fresh towels everyday. The reasons I did not give 5 stars is that although they have free WiFi the connection was not that good, the size of the rooms can be an issue, and finally for some reason the heating was turned off during two of the nights we stayed there. We were given no notice and my bed was by the window so I did catch a cold while on the trip.

Great location, close to shops, restaurants, underground and supermarkets. Service by staff is friendly and informative. Rooms are rather small, but have good natural light and quite clean. Noise is generally acceptable , but can be noisy from the street. There are no fans or air-conditioning, leading to stuffy rooms. Overall an acceptable stay for the price.

Pro:The location allows an easy access to most of the tourist attractions by having 2 tube stations near by. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. Cons: The room is really tiny! almost impossible for 2 people with a single big briefcase to stay there. The bed ins't a real double bed, more like a large single bed.. The shower is tiny as well, even for a 1.60 skinny girl it would be uncomfortable to take a shower

My wife and I spent one night here recently en route from York to Stockholm for a short trip. It is a nice little hotel and the perfect place for a quick stop. Our room was small -- a full-sized bed took up 2/3 of the room -- but everything was very neat and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is terrific; it's a block from the Earl's Court stop on the Underground. From there, you can take the Piccadilly line straight to Heathrow. The hotel is about a mile from the Victoria and Albert Museum and a mile and a quarter from one the main entrances to the magnificent Hyde Park. Good value.

Great placement, close to earls court underground. Very nice surroundings. Maybe it's not the best hotel considering quality, because walls are thin, and shower place was tiny. And room was small. I come here after a very bad experience in other hotel nearby. Lucky I reserved last minute and got a room for 4 people just for me for 80e a night which in London is OK price. The rrom. Even though was for 4 people it was small, they put beds everywhere they can and the beds weren't comfortable. The bathroom was OK, smaal but that's the size in London. The TV didn't work and the WiFi wasn't good. I liked the chocolate cookies that were in the room and the coffee and tea. The room was clean and the polish receptionist was very nice. Excellence location as well if you are a tourist. In conclusion I was lucky to get big room just for myself and if you find it fir a good price is OK. Unfortunately hotels in London are not good.

This was a great stay. The lady at reception was so friendly and lovely to my very jetlagged self. I was upgraded to a two bedroom room - the room was spacious and the bathroom tiny. Rooms and elevator were quite out of date, but more than what you'd expect for the price. The breakfast served was quite a variety of food and the room was never full. The location was perfect - very close to public transport, sightseeing and food.

We stayed in a room equipped with 3 beds. There was not much space left in the room, but enough to reach the different beds easily. The bathroom was small but sufficient. The shower was very small. The room itself was located on the second floor, accessible via elevator or stairs. The hotel is located nearby a supermarket and two metro stations.

Not bad hotel for practical people without big comfort demand Pros + The location is very good: it is next to Earl's Court underground station with several metro lines serving it, so it is easy to get to any part of London center. It is also in 15 minutes walking from Natural History and Science museums. + Very friendly and helpful personnel + Not bad choice for the breakfast: musli, eggs, some vegetables, cheese, etc. At the same time the quality of these products is not certain. + Quiet district + Safe box Cons - very little room: we had a triple room, 70% of the space was occupied by beds leaving just a narrow corridor to the bathroom. Luckily our bags were fitting under the beds, otherwise it would be quite difficult to move in the room. - very little shower cabin with fixed shower only: not very practical - everything proposed for breakfast looks like the cheapest products bought in the nearest supermarket - quite expensive for what it offers (but maybe it is a general problem in London)

I have found the hotel perfect for the price paid!! They offer a pretty nice breakfast and at the same time, the staff is really nice and welcoming. The only thing that may be better is the bathroom that is really small. Despite that, in my opinion, the hotel is perfect for its location in the city and the price paid.

Room very small, but the location is great. Pleasant staff. Some TLC would help, for instance hooks for hanging coats, towels. Floor boards squeak, also in the neighbouring rooms. Bring ample socks etc., there is little space to hang a pair of socks to dry. Three and a half stars, but the system does not show this option.

Very nice reception.! There is a variety of food in the mornings, but the rooms are very small to the standard of a normal person, also the shower is very small and you may not have a place to bathe in. So take it into account.

This hotel is in the perfect spot for access to the tube. The hotel was clean. The rooms are small but it is perfect for two. Wi-Fi was weak. Staff was wonderful, polite and helpful. Catherine at the front desk was welcoming and fantastic to chat with.

This is a reasonably priced hotel that's close too the Tube. It's not anything special, it's just a bed for the night. The room we stayed in was very small (two single beds and a double bed were too many for the size of the room), and we had a hard time manoeuvring around each other. The shower wasn't draining on our first night, so they let us use another room. They had fixed it by our second night (which was a really good thing, because London was about 900° these two days. Downside was that there's no air conditioning in the hotel (out at least in our room). There is a TV in the room, so that's good; there is also free Wi-Fi. All in all I wouldn't recommend The Westbury Hotel unless you're single or a young couple and the weather isn't too hot. UPDATE: I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone but the least-discerning, heaviest-sleeping traveller. There's so much noise at night...
