I have stayed at this youth hostel a number of times and I must say that it is definitely one of my favourites. Firstly, the location is excellent. Very close to the tube and therefore the whole of London is at your fingertips. Secondly it is a very large hostel and as such has plenty of variety with sleeping arrangements. I have had rooms on my own or shared dormitories. I have always had a good night's sleep. Finally, the staff here are incredibility friendly and helpful. A must stay!

Very nice place to stay if you want to visit London on a tight budget. The location is great! I travelled with 2 friends and we had a room just for ourselves, right next to a toilet and a shower that we shared with the other guests (but we were lucky to never had any problems trying to use it). The shared kitchen is awesome and equiped with all the tools you need to cook a meal and prepare a fast one for the next day. The only bad aspect is that the rooms had no wifi connection, so if you need it you have to use a common area.

Great hostel in amazing location, located just 4 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station (District, Picadilly) and 5 mins Court from West Brompton Overground Station. The room was very hot, which was a downside, but three rooms back out onto a garden, which is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and the hostel has been recently renovated. It was also very cheap, with other hotels being over £100 and this just being £40. Highly recommend!

I have not stayed in the hotel due to the new covid restrictions. But I'm giving the place 5-stars due to the extraordinary greeting and help I got from 3 different reception staff who were understanding of my situation and the new covid regulation in the country, they went above and beyond to bring me solutions for my alternative stay, required covid test and full-refund (although my booking was non-refundable). I will definitely stay at the hostel in any city I find it in future.

Very clean and friendly. The self serving kitchen also saves you a lot of money on extra food since you can make your own there. Its a very open hostel with decently comfortable beds. There are multiple spaces to get some privacy or just pull back for a second. They have a nice garden for bikes.

By far, this was the greatest Hostel I have ever been in. It was a complete contrast to my past experience. The staff were friendly and helpful form the beginning; the were a. true example of British charm and hospitality. Loved that I could put my luggage that I didn't need in a CC TV room. What a difference to my experience at Barkston Rooms (please avoid that place!). The pace is really well kept and trendy; backpacker friendly. The bed was great. The electrical plugs beside the bed worked well. The shower was amazing! It was such a good pressured shower unlike previous experiences. The shared kitchen is super well equipped. I was so happy to be able to make my own breakfast everyday and enjoy it there with no one using up my stuff. Really liked their lounge areas for grabbing a bite or just bringing your beers. Even the cleaning staff was super helpful and friendly; unfortunately don't remember their names. I absolutely recommend this place to everybody!! This place is more hotel quality than anything. Thank you for making my time there such a great experience. And to the girl with glasses at the front desk in the afternoon of Oct 19th, (sorry don't know your name): you're awesome and a life saver.

Nice, large rooms but very small showers. Due to the showers being so small, breathing was hard sometimes. The Wifi is only available in the common room and only after a long regestration process.

For the price, it is a really great experience. All facilities are really well kept and really clean. Bed is comfy although it is a little small. (Again, for the price paid, it is really good still.) The receptionist was very welcoming and we had a great chat for 15 minutes as it was late at night and generally empty. Very warmth feeling all around in my opinion. Highly recommend this place for those looking for cheap place to stay for a night (particularly solo traveller). Central London is only 10-15 minutes away by tube and buses.

Staff was AMAZING, So helpful and caring which is hard to find at many hostels. I checked in at 3am one night and was greeted by a friendly, enthusiastic man at reception. All of my roommates were very friendly and considerate. The facilities were all clean and looked after. I don't like the tube so I found things were all a little bit of a walk away, but if you're not scared of the tube, the station is very close! The neighbourhood feels very safe and is beautiful to walk around in day or night.

This is a really nice and clean hostel. The location is in a nice neighborhood that's very close to Earl's Court tube station (bonus: there's elevator at the station). Bus stops are also close by. You can easily find Tesco, Co-Op, Marks&Spencer, Sainsbury, Boots, and nice little cafe restaurants just down the street. I arrived in very early morning and the reception is 24 hours so I was able to drop off my luggage first. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My dormitory room was spacious and very clean. We have a sink, mirrors and a big locker in the room. There's headlights and individual electrical sockets (including USB charger) at each bed. It was in winter and our room and blankets were warm enough. The bathroom are very clean and there's plenty space to hang your belongings. It's also only for individual use so you won't be sharing with others (although this creates a waiting line during peak usage hours). There's a functioning kitchen that's very well maintained by the cleaning lady. The only problem is the stoves seem to have some problems and it took >30min just to boil water :( Wifi is a bit weak in room sometimes. If I visit London again this will still be the first place I'll pick to stay :)

You'll be very lucky if you find a decent and cheap hostel in London. I was lucky to spend some nights at YHA Earl's Court. This youth hostel is situated in Earl's Court (Kensington Area). The tube stop can be reached in approximately 5 minutes on foot. There are also buses. The hostel was clean, the beds were comfortable and it seemed quiet during the nights I stayed with them. The receptionists were very friendly, extraordinarily helpful and immensely polite. They knew their area and London in general very well. The breakfast is worth its money and you can be sure it lasts for a long time. The only minus is that there wasn't a lift which was not a problem at all for me, but for older people it must be exhausting climbing all the stairs. I'll definitely recommend this youth hostel to my friends, family and acquaintances - it was a real pleasure staying there!

Nice hostel, quite cheap and well managed. Private rooms are ok, they have private luggage holders, good beds and power outlets. Private rooms are very good! The shared area is quite big, there are about 5-6 tables where you can do your things and meet other people. The staff was kind and professional

Very good, clean, well managed Budget Hostel Accomodation in very. good quiet location as long as you are happy living very basically out of a small case or backpack in rather cramped bunk bed rooms with shared WCs and showers. We are, so our private room for 2 people was good for us. Communal areas very pleasant with a good atmosphere. Food and teas good and also very good value albiet with limited choice out of understandable necessity. There is a good self catering kitchen as well if you want something else or are on an even tighter budget. Very helpful freindly staff at all times. 24 hour access. Free Luggage storage before and after check in a massive benefit effectively freeing two days to explore unhindered by baggage for us.

Having a bad night, and needed a place to stay. Found this hostel in the internet randomly and said "why not?". I have No complaints at all, toilets and shower were clean. Clean beds, sheets, duvets. Their staff was amazing, approachable and helpful . Shared the room with awesome people aswell.. would recommend it to friends and family and specially for those who travel..

We stayed with our three year old, a room with three beds. Rooms are very basic, but clean and tidy and well maintained. Location is a 6 minute walk from Earls Court underground station which has District and Piccadilly lines. Reception staff are very friendly and efficient. This YHA sells pizza, for the price I expected a microwave pizza but it was freshly cooked. There is a kitchen downstairs that is well equipped and spacious. There is an outdoor area with picnic tables but we didn't see that as it rained.

Always a pleasure to come here. Can't beat the central London location. Tight comfortable bunks and clean tight bathrooms and showers. Hostel culture has been lost to a great degree because of these devices. No fault of the hostel.

Four stars because of the location, it's too far from the city centre if you're visiting london for a citytrip. The room is very basic, we stayed in a private twin room. The hostel is kept very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is large and has 3 cooking units, no problems there. The lounges have benches instead of chairs, there is one sofa in the front lounge and a few ikea/modern type lounge chairs in the back lounge. Maybe a few more sofas would be more inviting to relax in the lounges. It's not a youth hostel, more a family hostel. Lots of families with children and older travellers. Everyone was friendly and quiet but if your looking to meet up with people aged 18-30 this is not the place. Except for the location, it was a perfect hostel for us. It had all the necessary facilities, extremely friendly staff and very clean.

Great hostel in a super convenient location. A straight shot from the airport via underground and close enough to the station that you can get bulky luggage there (I rolled a bag the whole way.) Just know, it's an older building so no elevator. Everything was clean. Showers are tiny, makes it a hassle to dry and change. Wifi is strong and cheap and there's plenty of tables, garden, kitchen, etc to fit everyone.

The location is great there are plenty of buses and it is a short walk from Earls court tube station. The rooms were basic but comfortable plenty of plug sockets and the WiFi although advertised as public spaces was accessible in our room. We were able to arrive at 10am to leave our luggage until check in time and we're able to leave it until 4pm after checking out. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and one of them was from my home town and we went to the same secondary school

I had a lengthy trip with a few weeks spent here. The staff were wonderfully helpful, kind and good humoured. I genuinely liked them. They were professional, quick to respond to guest's inquiries and solve issues. I have to give an exceptional thank you to Tom. He cares, not just about the job but being the best he can be. He's very resourceful and was able to provide me with solutions. Big ups to: Joffrey, Amedeu, Daniel, Alf, Philip and Niall. The hostel is welcoming and for the amount of foot traffic it receives, it's in pretty good shape with modern upgrades. For small costs, they provide toiletries, towels, drinks, pastries, a continental breakfast, lockers. They also have a locker room at no cost. There's a kitchen with four refrigerators, an area to store your non-perishables, plenty of utensils, a courtyard. The hostel is also in a very lovely, clean area with a Tube stop accessible to many locations. My only gripe: get rid of pigeons as much as possible.

Rooms do the job though the duvets could be slightly larger. Showers and toilet facilities work fine though the toilets on the third floor aren't great for the slightly taller or wider person. Beyond this, everything is to a good standard and will provide what you need. The staff are helpful.

We checked in quickly and were given the keys to our room. We unfortunately didn't have curtains in our room, but once we alerted the front desk these were installed. Our stay was comfortable and the shower we had access to was tidy and had high water pressure. We saved a lot of money by staying here and slept well.

Great value, great location. First visit, 2 nights in room for two; second visit, 2 weeks. Wonderful showers across the hall from room. We have a lot of food allergies, so we need the self catering kitchen. Favorite restaurants near the underground station: Orjawan (Lebanese), 6-8 Kenway Rd; Siam Secret (Thai), 5A Hogarth.

The staff is very nice. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and there's even a little kitchen that you can use. The nearest tube station is a five minute walk away and there are shops, pubs, and restaurants in the area that you can explore. Would definitely go there again.

Very nice hostel. Each bed has it's own nightlight and an electric outlet which is super handy. There are many washrooms and all were clean. It's not far from the tube station either.

Smart hostel. Nice rooms, enough showers and toilets, individual light and plugs for electricity for every bed, big kitchen with several hobs and oven, everything clean and newly renovated. Nice and roomy places to just sit and chill with friends, two inside and a garden at the rear where you can also place your bikes. There's a house cat too!

The hostel was good, the employees where really friendly and helpful. We booked a trip to YHA Earl's Court and upfront the communication was fine. Unfortunately, there was a problem on arrival, the packed lunches I ordered at the headquarters, weren't at the hostel. Somehow there was a miscommunication. The crew from Earl's Court did everything they could to get us lunches. They made calls to severally places where we went the next day. So, thumbs up for the crew of Earl's Court! The hostel itself is fine. Lots of rooms on several floors (Wich made it harder for us teachers to keep an eye at our student). It is situated in a nice area with some shops and a Subway station nearby, like 350 meters (1000 foot).

Having 5 nights here whilst re-visiting time spent in London as a student 50+ years ago. Very clean and comfy with well appointed self catering kitchen and a continental breakfast on offer. Helpful staff. Well placed near to Earls Court tube station. There is 1 bus which goes to Victoria bus, coach and train stations passing the V&A, Natural History Museum and Harrods.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in the UK so far. Stayed in a female-only, 4-bed shared bathroom. Each bed is allocated with its own USB plug. They have 4 wooden cabinets, suitable to put a cabin size luggage. They also have a sink inside their toilet, so no need to wake the others when using the sink in your room. 8-minutes walk from the nearest Tube station Earl's Court, with shops and restaurants along the way. Bonus: walk in the morning to appreciate London houses in the area.

It seems small from the outside but it is actually quite big, the multiple doors make it confusing to move around, but the signs help, except to the Kitchen, which is hard to find but very spacious and well equiped. Good service and nice backyard (access through the Kitchen). The fire alarm went on at 6 AM on my last day due to a fail, causing a lot of confusion and giving me an enourmous fright, but other than that, I had a good time. It is located near to a Subway station and an Italian restaurant (good food, good price)

We stayed five days at this hostel and I have to say the Staff was rly friendly!! They let us stay in the kitchen and in the living room even after we had to check out and they were always friendly and tried to help us, if help was needed. We were 3 guys and stayed in a 6 man bedroom at the TOP of the TOP of the hostel, when it was hot outside it was very hot in the room too! it is like for every floor you are going up in the hostel it is getting a few degrease warmer and the oxygen is getting less... so be happy that it isn't that often hot in London ;) all floors below are probably much better when it is getting hot in London so make shut to tell them that you would like to stay a floor downstairs if there are coming a few hot days in London ;) !!! otherwise the hostel was clean and comfortable. Only one thing was annoying, the stove had no numbers to see where you can cook with full power or not, this takes a couple of minutes to find out ;) but as you can see, if I have to write about something like this, there wasn't much to complain about :) (We had a "snorer" in our room, thats no business of the hostel ;) ) It was great to have a garden in the hostel, but the garden is not very green, maybe the hostel manager reads this and puts some flowers or weed in the garden too! We enjoyed our stay and I would book the hostel every time again!! Greets from Germany!

The Earl's Court Youth Hostel has been upgraded over the years and now has real bedding instead of the traditional YHA "sheet sleeping bag". The beds are new, and each includes a light and charging stand with power outlet. We paid for breakfasts, which we thought were good value. Breakfast included cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, croissant, ham and cheese, tea and coffee. The garden area is just outside the self-catering kitchen and is a pleasant spot (it closes at 9pm). There is also a lounge indoors. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. All in all a very good stay, with just two minor negatives. The check-in process was awkward as they would not accept our YHA Membership Cards as ID. How crazy is that? And on the ceiling of our room was a small green light that stayed lit all night - probably something to do with the fire alarm system but it was annoying. We would stay here again when next in the area.

YHA Earls Court was a good experience on the whole - great people, great utilities for the kitchen and comfy (if not comfier) duvets. Free wifi doesn't go amiss either. The only reason this is a three star rating is because of a difficulty I had with the members of staff at the reception last night. The Thursday previous I booked a four day stay from Sunday-Thursday (with the assumption that I would leave Friday morning, as verified by the staff at reception last week; otherwise I would have bought another night). This wasn't the case, however, when the same member of staff saying that I was meant to check out yesterday (Thursday 23rd) morning. This was immensely frustrating as she said I could check out Friday, and I had to verify this last week before I booked the nights. I thought I was in for a cheaper price, but alas. A life lesson, maybe, but the PR of 'you can't stay here' and acting indifferent to what has been discussed with a customer - not a hitchhiker - is in need of improvement. No compensation either. I had to move to another YHA at Oxford Circus. The bust card reader didn't help at Earls Court either, so I didn't know if I could sleep anywhere until I got to Oxford Circus and after a transaction was made. It's a shame - tainted the experience of what has been a great couple of weeks in London.

Stayed in a family room. It was very clean and updated. The hostel seems to have been refurbished quite recently and is very tidy and clean. Only drawback was the rooms do not have air conditioning and it was a bit warm.

Clean and tidy, as you'd expect from YHA who don't really seem to do grimy or run-down. Location in West London isn't especially central if you're planning to see the major sights (there is also a YHA right next to St Paul's Cathedral for that). But this YHA is only a 5 minute walk and 10 minute tube journey from Buckingham Palace for example, so not too bad at all.

I had great stay in YHA Earl’s court for 10 nights.Great location,5mins walk from underground station.Receptionist was very warm,gave necessary general information.Rooms and washrooms were really clean.Common kitchen with all utensils and appliances.Nice garden in the backyard.Washer machine and dryer available to do laundry.Common areas with TV and nice eating options available.Don’t forget to collect earplugs from reception while checking in since it is old Vicotrian house converted into hostel,can get bit noisy.Overall a great stay,would surely go back if in London!!
