Great hotel and excellent staff, especially Isabel who is a great ambassador for the business. We were upgraded to the club hotel, there are a few Z hotel properties in this row, which meant we got free breakfast and snacks/drinks. I have stayed a number of Z hotels in London and have never been disappointed, they are really aimed at business users who want well priced rooms with great beds and en-suite but are also good for couples. Less than 10 minutes from Marylebone station.

Great size just for me- lovely bed and great bathroom / room facilities. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Only issue was that my room was down in the ‘basement’ so I had no natural light coming into my room but apart from that would definitely go back and stay again.

Room was absolutely filthy. Not at all what we were expecting for the price and the alleged star level of the hotel. There was hair in the corners of the bathroom floor, room was covered in dust, walls grimy with handprints, just filthy.

EXTREMELY SMALL ROOM, WAS NOT FULLY CLEAN! This is not remotely close to a 4 star hotel, this is a 1 or 3 star. While the space was fine for me, the price was far too high for the quality of the room and the facilities. My room was not fully clean when I checked in. Someone had been smoking and left ash all over the window sill. bathroom door was so loud to close it made me jump every time. Very informal front desk. All and all, nothing special.

Very poor experience at this hotel. There is no real front desk, had to wait over 20 minutes just to check in. The staff were abrupt and several times quite rude. They made it clear that you were a nuisance by making any request . The rooms are strange, no carpets and no sound proofing, if someone is moving around in a room above you it is very loud. No fridge, no iron, no housekeeping or fresh towels unless you specially request which is difficult to do. They don't even provide a number to call the front desk or housekeeping. The bathrooms are a strange glass box in your room so you had better know your partner very well if you share because they can see everything you do in there. Definitely don't recommend this place

We arrived in London full of energy and ready to drop our luggage off at the reception of the hotel due to check-in being a few hours away. The hotel was easy to locate and had a nice aesthetic in a busy area of Marylebone. Once arriving at reception we were greeted in a really nice and friendly manner; our luggage was labelled and taken away for us while we were welcomed and told we could arrive back around check-in time and our room (Junior Suite) will be ready. The hotel also has a café that you can go to by going through the reception building where you can sit down and get food and drinks, there was a good amount of space in the café and it was very nice. After adventuring around the area and making time fly by, it was time to go back to the hotel and get to our room - we arrived slightly earlier than the check-in time of 3PM however to our surprise we were told that our room was ready for us and our luggage was already there, a really nice touch which was much appreciated. The receptionist told us that our room was located a 30 second walk down the road in another part of the building and gave us the direction, and this building was easy to locate. As we scanned into our room, we were so happy to see that the room was exactly like the pictures! We received a lovely room three floors up which was very clean and so modern; it's fair to say that the room exceeded the high expectations we already had having looked at the hotel online. Our luggage was perfectly left for us, we had a long look around the space which was spacious and inviting. The bed was more than big enough and was very comfy, the covers were clean and nicely made for when we arrived, the bedside tables were organised in a really nice manner and provided water and you could also make tea or coffee. We sat on the comfy bed and turned the TV on - the TV was big and provided us with instructions on how to connect to FreeView, but had all of the Sky channels. Sleeping at night was very easy, there was also AC in our room which allowed us to change the temperature which was heavenly during the heat wave on the week of the stay, at no point were we ever too hot in the room and it just added to the feel good stay and made us ever more so consistently comfortable. The bathroom was next to the bed and was slightly see-through, this was not an issue for us as we are a couple however it may be worth looking into for a friend/family/business stay if that could potentially bother you, the bathroom was so nice and modern with a spacy shower, with great water pressure, there really was no dirt anywhere in this room which was really great especially under current circumstances, there was also a wardrobe for you to put your clothes which was fairly spacious and provided more than enough space for our 3 night stay - next to this wardrobes were two chairs for you to lounge and relax in, with a table for you to just chill out and relax, watching TV or even eat there. Overall - we couldn't be any happier with our stay at the Z hotel and are definitely looking forward to coming back again!

Run. The room is way, way smaller than advertised, dirty (we found long hairs on the bed), and the staff is awful. Only reason we're staying is that they refused to give us a refund, saying we could leave but they would check us in anyways. Worst experience in London so far, we feel scammed.

Not a bad hotel really. The staff were really nice and the room was really nice too but it was the cosiest hotel room I've ever been in, cosiest meaning tight spaced. You can't fault it for location though, top location for our visit to Madame Tussauds

There is quite simply no better room in central london for your money. I’ve stayed in countless places and I honestly think this is cheap at double the price, even outside of lockdown prices. The place is totally spotless and incredibly quiet for a central hotel. I love the minimal unfussy interior and the beds are very, very comfortable. The staff are fantastic - attentive but unobtrusive, efficient but charming, and are always willing to help with requests or give advice. The manager and front of house team deserve a huge amount of praise and recognition for keeping such high standards and flawless customer service during these most difficult of times. Would 100% recommend.

A great location for central London. Walking distance to Hyde park & Oxford street. The day we arrived, complimentary cheese & wine was being served in the dining area. A great start to our weekend. The staff were polite & very helpful in showing us to our rooms, which were in different buildings. Our room was huge & the bathroom had all the little toiletries and a mirror. However there was no mirror in the bedroom to do my makeup or dry my hair. Can’t use a dryer in the bathroom, there’s no socket!!!! Would definitely visit again, if you could put mirrors in the bedrooms , it would be really appreciated

The hotel was very clean, and I really enjoyed my stay there. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern. The hair dryer provided worked very well as well. There was a Tesco close by, so the location was convenient. The bed was comfortable and there was complimentary coffee and tea in the room. A couple of things that I did not like - The room was very very small. I have stayed at hotels, paid much less for a bigger room! There were not plugs in the bathroom, and no lamps in the room itself. All the lights were very bright, and I generally like sleeping with the lamp switched on.

I love this hotel. It's my first choice for London and Liverpool. Rooms are not big but they are very well equipped, very clean and modern. the beds are comfortable and the pillows quite nice. Only thing missing for me is a couple of hangers outside the closet. I wanted to hang my raincoat the other day as it was wet and there was no hook to hang it on, I had to put it in the closet with the dry clothes. Oh and one or two more euro plugs or USB charging ports would be nice.

Stayed here for 3 nights in mid February, thoroughly enjoyed it! Very nice room, I liked that the bathroom had underfloor heating (I used it to dry my jacket at night after being out in the rain!) Great location, easy to walk around. It has a very nice cafe/restaurant in the main building, lots of yummy food to eat for a good price, most of it is buffet. Only downside was that the WiFi did not reach to the lower levels, same with mobile data, other than that I had a lovely time. Will definitely be back next time i'm in London!

This hotel is located quite close to a national rail station and a few underground stations viz. Marylebone station, Baker Street station and Marble Arch station. There are a lot of restaurants and cafés to eat at nearby, in addition to the shops at Baker Street and Edgware Road. Check-in, is painless and the staff are friendly and professional. Lien, at the front desk was genuinely pleasant and was always happy to help with a smile! The rooms are absolutely clean and the some toiletries are provided (I had to ask Lien for some toiletries, and they were in my room by the time I stepped out and got back; carefully placed in a clean and new zip-lock bag). The WiFi, though I was staying in a basement room, was good (there is very little or no phone reception, in the basement!). A basic menu is available for you to order from and then eat in your room, due to health restrictions.

(it is a good hotel, clean and well located ....However...) The basic rooms are extremely smalls. Bathrooms are separated by a glass door that does not block neither the noice or the privacy expected when going to the toilet (yes, you can see a person sitted inside hearing absolutely everything). The size of the room does not help neither. Overall the cleaning was good, the bed is confortable and the tv works perfect. The wi-fi connection does not work that well but at least it serve its purpose. For the price I would say is a very nice hotel, however whoever who though having a glass toilet was a good idea should be fired.

Came in a bit earlier than check in- and instead of turning me away they upgraded me to the king room. The view from it was quite special. The room was clean, had a large tv, and some tea/coffee. The bathroom was also very clean. I liked how safe it was, considering you need a room key to access the hotel front door. The rooms are small- but I prefer that so you don’t hangout in the hotel all day- because this is one you could! Would 100% stay again!

Lovely hotel, very newly decorated, very clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent, they really care about their job. Complimentary cheese and wine every day - a really nice idea. Breakfast was excellent too, very good continental selection. There is a cafe in the hotel open all day and evening. Really appreciated the upgraded room as we were on our honeymoon. Good location, 10 minutes walk to several tube stations. We were in a basement room and it was a little bit noisy with people walking around above.

Beautiful hotel in a very nice area of London. Spacious room, with comfortable bed (We chose king size), nice bathroom, and big closet. Also there is a kettle next to bed with coffee and tea bags, and a bottle of water, complimentary by the house. Breakfast is good and price is reasonable (9£ per person). From 5 to 8 in the evening, there is complimentary wine and cheese at the main building, on a nice buffet where you can enjoy a variety of wines accompanied by a variety of bread, crackers, cheese, chutney, jam, olives. At the corridors of the buildings, we found umbrellas to be very useful during our stay. There are many places close by the hotel that one can visit with the help of the City Mapping app. Very kind and helpful people at the reception of the hotel answered to many of our questions. We'll be back!

A little difficult to find as the hotel is spread over several buildings in the one street. We stayed at 87, renovated in a very modern style. There is no reception, you talk to one of the staff in the kitchen and they check you in. The rooms are small like all hotel rooms in London. Newly renovated bathroom and bedroom. Strangely there were no bedside lamps, only the ceiling lights or bathroom lighting. They have cheese and wine complimentary for the guests every night, with a very good selection of wines and cheeses. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Z Hotel in Gloucester Place was something beyond any expectation I had. Well done to the management. A place where there is customer respect and where you finally get what you pay for in the expensive London. We booked early a suite. The room was newly renovated with a modern style. It was very spacious and comfortable. Huge double bed with a very comfortable mattress. Big comfortable bathroom with a big shower and a bathtub as well, all brand new and modern. There was a cleaning service everyday. Εquipped with a Kettle, tea coffee, hot chocolate. A large glass bottle of water filled everyday. A hairdryer and soaps cotton wool cotton buds. The location was perfect. Prime. Very central, between Baker Street Station and Marble Arch. A very nice neighborhood with a lot of cafes and restaurants. Even though it was central the room was very quiet. Iam definitely going back to stay in a Z Hotel.

We booked a double room without breakfast. Therefore no comment on the food, I did not even visit the area. Our room was plenty big enough for the two of us for our one night stay. It was a basement room, so don't be surprised if you get one given the location - and it sounded like they have multiple buildings on that street, so don't be surprised if you are asked to head out as soon as you head in! The room was basically a bed, a closet, tea / coffee station and a bathroom. Very tight space but sufficient given our length of stay and good enough to just sleep in. Very clean! Just to note, given the pictures you can see some body shapes of folks when they are in the bathroom, so if you're not comfortable I'd recommend an alternative option to this. The location we stayed at was about 7 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Marble Arch station on the central line.

I stayed at number 87 and it was very, very good. You can argue whether the complimentary drinks & light bites are worth the extra in terms of the costs of staying, but I just loved the, 'home from home' feel. In the summer, when the large doors to the courtyard could be left open, I imagine this would feel even better. The quality of the room, food & drink were all excellent. Highly recommended.

Our room was a good size. The bathroom is separated by a glass wall. It's a rather intimate experience (and a terrible building decision). Similar to other reviews, you hear a lot of noise. Management should put stoppers or something on the doors to prevent them from slamming shut (including front door). There were some oddities, like no face cloth but q tips. Id rather have a face cloth than q tips. The cleaning staff also left a face wash in our room, which was not ours. Kinda gross, and a little disappointed management didn't do anything to compensate for the mistake.

The staff were friendly and accommodating right from the date of our booking, and took the effort to make out trip a memorable one. We appreciate that they were responsive to emails. Reception was also open 24/7. Location wise, it's an easy 5-10 minute walk from Oxford Street, and another 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station at Baker Street. Many buses also stop at the bus stop right outside the hotel and it made travelling very convenient. Rooms are spacious enough and kept very clean. Enjoyed our stay here and it felt like a home away from home. We stayed on the basement floor, right below the dining hall. At times it did get noisy when patrons were moving/dragging chairs etc, but otherwise it didnt bother us.

The place was quite quaint. our room was exceptional. the only thing keeping this hotel fstom getting 5 stars is our bed. the bed was comfortable, but impossible to get out of without disturbing my partner. our room was 5102 and got a lot of noise from reception desk. may want to see if other rooms have better access to bed. if single, no issue.

**Avoid this hotel, much better places available in the area** The staff is nonchalant and unhelpful, rooms are dirty with no basic amenities: no napkins or Kleenex in the room, one body gel to share, tiny washroom, dirty towels (literally yellow patches), extremely noisy a baby was crying all night and we could not sleep, no availabilities to change your room location, We arrived to our room and saw a basket of dirty towels lingering in the middle of the hallway with smelly towels ... I could keep on going because at this rate its not just bad luck but just a bad hotel. Look at my uploaded pictures for a proof that the bed eats up literally the whole room. I would never stay there again, it was a rip-off.

The first time I stayed my experience was great; a normal sized room (for London) away from the road, with a wardrobe, etc. This time my room is tiny (the queen bed touches three walls) and the wardrobe consists of four coat hooks on the wall. On top of that it is very noisy, way more so than any previous road-side hotel room I’ve ever had in London. And to top it off, the wi-fi doesn’t work. Such a shame because I was so impressed when I stayed the first time but I won’t run the risk of staying in a room like this again.

The hotel is made up of several town houses, every lot internally connected to each other. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel I advise you to look elsewhere: this hotel is more like a boutique self serving hotel. Noise from the communal area above our Club King room meant we barely slept. It seems that which room you're actually allocated is a bit of a lottery - if you value sleep (or a window with some kind of view, as opposed to the wall 1m opposite) speak directly with the hotel beforehand and request a specific room.
