D. S.Quiet location, clean rooms. Good value. Easy access to the Barbican with or without the footbridge. Very friendly and efficient reception staff. Have stayed more than once, and will definitely stay again.

Need to pay £6 for parking though. Only a four as the outside could do with with a tidy and spruce up, quite substantially. Don't get confused with the other Premier Inn immediately door (Sutton Harbour), check your booking details!
R. S.Standard premier Inn, comfy bed etc. I love plug sockets near the bed, we all have phones and use them as alarms so they need to be near the bed but charging for the next day. Good night's sleep even if not your bed at home, what more could you ask.
d. s.Comfortable room and bed as expected not the best location if you want to sleep though as the hotel seems to be on the flightpath for the local knob heads who like to have a dom jolly style conversation at 0300 in the morning. Not the hotels fault.

M. C.Staff were great, food at the TT was lovely, room had a weird constant feel of Damp almost like constant morning dew, gave to bed AND room a constant cold feel. Apart from that everything was great. They were having severe issues with the WiFi and we were informed about it on arrival and given ultimate internet access as a bonus so they REALLY sis so everything they could. Very happy
C. Q.Fantastic as usual with most Premier inns. For the price you pay it’s fab and comfortable. We were in what appeared to be the “newer” bit and the more modern premier inn look is good. Service from staff was very good and location to Plymouth town perfect
T. D.Hotel clean staff helpfull, typical premier Inn you know what your going to get.
On arrival I asked for a room on upper floor facing car park and that is what we got.
Car parking is bot free £6 per day.
Shower is oved the bath and the bath tubs are a little high so not good for some one with disability.
No lifts but this did not bother us.
Checkin was quick and the lad that checked us in very helpful.
Only problem we experienced was a guest with children who thought it OK for them to run down the corridor regardless of time but not the hotels fault.
All round good stay within walking distance to everything you would need

I have to say we were a bit worried about how safe we would feel in our rooms regarding Covid but as soon as we got in the rooms we did a thorough check and realised it was absolutely spotless. The staff were very friendly and kept a good distance.
Location is very convenient and central. Definitely recommend it.
R. S.Although the bar and restaurant was closed due to the pandemic I still enjoyed my stay. I just stocked up with snacks. I had some lovely walks around the harbour and it isn't too far from town. The value for money was excellent. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
I did report a couple of issues shoddy workmanship and I struggled to get toilet roll as the holder was hanging off the wall.

R. T.Another fantastic stay away on business. Staff were friendly and room immaculate. Masks are asked to be worn in public areas and there are screens on reception and hand gel for covid. Pub next door also very good for covid with a one way system and table service at breakfast instead of the normal buffet self serve system.
J. G.Lovely hotel, rooms clean and tidy and very quiet there! Housekeeping finish at 12 noon on a Sunday so room wont be done if do not disturb on door but everything u need is available at reception! Parking is £5 per night payable in machine at reception
S. N.The atmosphere was good, friendly. Service was very good considering the size our party but the quality and quantity of food was lacking in many areas. Fatty meat. Small rice portions compared to curry dish. Warm desserts as opposed to got. But the service was excellent.

z. e.Close enough to the Barbican but far enough away from the noise. Rooms are what they are for Premier Inn. Reception team very polite. Had an evening meal at the Cookhouse Pub but was not impressed with the rib eye steak. Asked for it medium rare but it came out more medium to well done and was thin and flat. Not worth 16.99!! Had to wait for an hour and a quarter for the main meal, was not advised of the wait when ordering. Breakfast was ok, they take your order rather than buffet style which is much better.

I had just arrived after a long drive and my partner was in the room anxious because we booked a table in a restaurant. Because we were not on time after walking over they let our table go. Well it was Saturday night.

I would refund and leave if my company wasn't paying. They need air con! It's just to crowded and too warm to not have air con. Surely the fans they provide cost more to run and create more unhappy customers.
J. C.Went here because the Mrs had a voucher. And was very pleasantly surprised. I opted for the chicken wings and double steak burger. The Mrs had mushrooms and then a rib eye steak. And neither of us could find fault in anything. It all tasted great. The service was also great. Attentive but not in your face. Would definitely recommend and will go again.

Suggest that you book a table for breakfast as it was chaotic in the restaurant. and the head waiter wasnt really in control of the situation however when the food arrived it was excellent

Sorted us out with a table booking at another restaurant and milk for our youngest as we couldn't get to a shop. All together excellent and breakfast was great.

There was a fan setup to cool the room down on the hot summer day. And the double glazing cut out the noise of motorcyclists racing up and down the street outside pulling wheelies!
The unlimited breakfast was excellent with a great selection of pastries drink and hot food.
J.Friendly welcome when we arrived. Room clean and quiet. Love the location but the bridge over to Plymouth is shut. However, there is a water taxi which is only £1.50. Breakfast in the pub is fine. However, they have started charging £5 a day for parking. This used to be free.

D. L.The food was delivered quickly and was pretty nice. We've been quite a few times before and it's normally a pleasant dining experience with some nice views over the harbour from one side of the building. My only real complaints would be that it can be very hard to get seated and served, even if there are free tables. Also, on this visit, the restaurant was full of flies and the windows are covered in live and squashed flies which was a bit unpleasant. However, overall Lockyers Quay is normally a reliable dining experience at a reasonable price, they could just do with some organisational improvements when they get busy.

My Sister and Brother in law have stayed there quite a few times and I will say it like they would. You Can Not Fault Premier Hotels.

We've stayed here several times and have always had very clean and comfortable rooms.

R. Y.It's a typical Premier Inn, but with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is across the car park, which sounds negative, but it's location is overlooking the quay, is very pleasant. Unfortunately, despite the accomodation being ideal, our room was at the back of the site and overlooking the road, which seemed to be a point for people to congregate in the early hours, when clubs empty. Not quietly! So specifying a front facing room when booking is advised.
D. C.A great place to stay and although the bridge to the Barbican is closed it is just as easy to walk around the harbour to get there. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, who looked after us really well. Also close to City Centre. Would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Plymouth.
S. &. A. D.We have stayed in this Premier Inn, in August 2014. Like all other Premier Inns it has not disappointed us. It is a great place to stay with excellent service and excellent location for an excellent value. It has a lovely restaurant with such great food, great menu and at the great location. Staff could not be any more helpful. The location for this price is a bargain. We have recommended this Hotel and restaurant to everyone we know.
M. W.A few negatives we noted: They Charge In advance for parking but can't guarantee a space.
Breakfast on Sunday morning was nice, but Mondays was awful, so much so I declined it on our final morning on the Tuesday.
We could hear people walking (sounded like stamping around)above us at all hours.
Beds were comfortable and the room clean as expected.
Brucie bonus: do ask for the 20% discount voucher to visit the aquarium which is 5 minutes walk away.

M. F.I stayed in the new extension and the room was great. Much preferred the walk in shower as opposed to the standard bath with shower you get with the majority of premier inns.

Location wasn't great though. Slightly run down area and nothing much near by, ie pubs, restaurants etc.
Having said that, it was only a 10 min walk to the Barbican, but that walk was through a fairly industrial area with patches of wasteland.
B. W.what you'd expect from a premier inn: clean with the standard room and shower. the toilet fan timer setting was annoying. brilliant location except the footbridge to the restaurant area has been out of action for months and months meaning a 15-20min walk around the harbour.
M.Worked here in Plymouth off and on over the last 6 years so like a second home for me fantastic staff and good location. Nice pub over looking the Barbican especially in the summer.

L. J.Not the best Premier Inn. Room is okay but with no air con and a noisy road outside I wouldn't stay here in summer as you won't be able to have window open at night if you're room is by the road (back of hotel). Fortunately it was November when I stayed so okay.
d. l.Good location. Friendly service. Easy parking. Room was not that clean. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Mirror in bathroom had writing on it from previous people once it was seemed up. Bed was hard.
P. S.Brilliant place, only negative was the tv, we were in a family room and tv was small and too low. This meant the kids struggled to see the tv from their beds. Food was good and the meal deal was a great value.

The staff are friendly. The road outside can be a bit noisy, and you now have to pay for overnight parking.
