G. T.Exactly what you would expect from quite a cheap place to stay in the centre of Preston. Comfort without frills. Clean, good breakfast. Tea & coffee aplenty in the room. Shower was hot and staff were friendly. I'd definitely go again. Very handy for the train station, a very good covered market at the other end of Fishergate. And Paul's Pies is the shop opposite.....definitely recommended.
C.My stay in this hotel has been nothing short of perfect. I was greeted by a homely and welcoming atmosphere after a long day of work. The comfortable night sleep I had left me feeling uplifted. I look forward to my next stay and I genuinely have no real complaints.

M. G.Nice Land lady, made us welcome. Helped us to find a secure place to store bikes over night. Toilet seat broken in our room. Beds were a tad hard to sleep on !! Difficult to park car safely especially when you have a bike rack on a tow ball fitting.

W. T.A fabulous little find. We were attending a graduation ceremony in Preston, a 5+ hour train journey for us, so we wanted somewhere close to both the railway station and the graduation venue. Ashwood Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the station, exceptionally well priced and included a fabulous breakfast. We both went for traditional full English with fruit juice, coffee and toast. We had a family room with an ensuite shower, although small it was perfect for our stay as most of the time we were out and about. Some minor repairs were required and bits did look a little tired, but this did not affect the quality of our stay. The owner was fully aware and awaiting her very busy handyman to attend. The room was a lovely size, with a comfortable bed, kettle tea and coffee and small TV to lull yourself to sleep. There is a small shop a few doors down for any basics, snacks and liquid refreshments. The staff were all polite and friendly, service was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was spotless with a very comfy bed, and had a generous provision of tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent, and freshly cooked on ordering. I would definitely stay here again.
B. M.The owners were really welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was really good. Only issue was the mattress we had was too soft to the point that my partner would slowly roll into the middle which made for not the greatest sleep. In saying that the cost and the owners would make me stay there again just with a different mattress.

a. b.I and my husband stayed here for 4 days we wanted somewhere close to the town centre which it is only a few minutes walk away when arriving we were given a warm welcome our room was situated on the first floor our room had plenty of space and storage it was a fresh and clean our bed was comfortable. The hotel is on a main street you can hear the traffic outside however this did not stop us from having a good nights sleep we had tea and coffee also hot chocolate whch was well enjoyed our breakfast was lovely good service.The only thing I would say is the hairdryer I was kindly loaned however it kept over heating and cutting out till it cooled down all staff were friendly felt like a home from home well done to you all keep up the good work we would stay here again 😁😁😁

F. H.The Ashwood Hotel is a city centre Preston hotel, a five to ten minute walk from the train station and close to the beautiful Avenham park. There are a variety of rooms, single, double, family, and each time I've stayed here they have been clean, spacious and comfortable. The facilities include TV, WiFi, and a kettle in each room. Hairdryers and clocks can be borrowed from reception. Many rooms have en-suite facilities. The staff here are friendly and helpful, without exception. When staying in Preston, this excellent value hotel is the first hotel I would choose.
B. D.Nothing fancy but a great B&B. Room and shower facilities were clean and tidy. Breakfast (which was included in the price) was nice. The staff were friendly. Couldn't have asked for more.
M. U.Basic and presentable but not one for light sleepers. I was kept up all night by noisy plumbing and the sound of traffic rumbling up the hill outsider. I was on the first floor do I imagine there's quieter rooms.
