P. A.Generally pretty good, we were seated quickly and the waitress was helpful and attentive. I was a bit surprised that she was wearing jeans though rather than a uniform but that was only a minor issue. Food arrived at about the right time and was plentiful and all in my party agreed that it was enjoyable. The usual questions by staff to ascertain ongoing feelings was minimal and not intrusive.
N. H.We dined and stayed at Fallow Field this weekend, a large family group of 12. The hotel staff were welcoming, the rooms clean and spacious (even for a family of 4) and the dining and bar staff couldn't have been any more obliging. They were friendly, efficient and hospitable and went out of their way to make our evening a success. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning inside the restaurant (and the weather this weekend was baking), so they worked in difficult conditions, but nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the outdoor space after our meal and sat in a secluded 'pergola' area where we could chat freely and continue our gathering. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful and again, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely visit again (it's centrally located for our various groups) and offered excellent service and value for money. Would recommend.

The staff were really friendly and prompt. We did not have to wait long to order drinks or food! The food was 10/10 presentation, portion size and taste. We will definitely be back again and recommend to others ⭐️

Booked a table earlier in the day for a party of adults and children and on arrival we were shown to our table. The pub was busy at this point but the waiting staff were quick to tend to our table with drinks order then the food order. Drinks and food were served quicker than expected and the staff periodically returned to check everything was ok.
The staff are a credit to this venue and we highly recommend a visit.

E. J.The meals were pretty good although my chicken was very dry (I had hunter's chicken). We weren't very happy that our granddaughter, who's 3, was served her meal a good 5 minutes before ours were brought out nor that we were charged £1.00 for one small scoop of ice cream when we had a chocolate brownie, ice-cream and 2 wafer biscuits for £1.50. In all we were charged £2.50 for a child's portion of fruit salad and ice cream, we dud query it but were told it was correct. A lot of things on the menu were not available, including garlic bread and salmon, no explanation was given for this
O. D.Excellent place to stay. The breakfast staff are out of this world. Couldn't do enough for you. We would get a box to take away some things from the continental breakfast for later on our travels. The Smashed avocado on toast with bacon was the best in my opinion. So good i forgot to take pictures which i usually do.
The rooms were very comfy and clean, and had a large T.V. inside with access to the side hdmi if you want to plug in your own device. They provided everything for you with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. But they didn't have shampoo just a 2 in 1 which most women won't use.

Both experiences have been faultless, highest praise to the staff who are excellent at their job, particularly Lauren who was charming, polite and dealt with us superbly, food arrived quickly on both visits. Nice hot food with good presentation and excellent taste. Could not recommend this place enough.
