Great company I have worked for NIC group as an in store cleaning manager for nearly 3 years and love my job. I work with a great team who support me day and night and a great management team who are always there no matter the time. During the last year with the pandemic I have always felt safe to go to work with the correct PPE and have enjoyed being part of the essential key worker workforce.

I have worked for this company for 4 months now during the Covid 19 pandemic and absolutely love my job. The main reason I love my job is the team here at Dronfield, Sainsburys. My manager Gary Round is a hidden gem in this company. He has been so helpful when organising shifts with me, arranging overtime or helping with any problems that I have came across. He works extremely hard and is always so enthusiastic in his job. He leads a brilliant team, who all work extremely well together, especially Gillian Empson who has also been incredibly helpful working with me and for me, showing me the ropes and supporting me in my new job. The NiC team at Dronfield Sainsburys are amazing, I am very grateful to work with such a solid, hard working, lovely little team!! 🤩👌

I have worked for NIC now for 2.5yrs. I have had my ups and downs over this time but overall I have enjoyed my time here. I have found that my line manager is always there at the end of the phone if I need him. Thank you Mark for all the support and understanding over the last 18mths or so. Also thank you for the support all my staff have shown me. Here's to the next 2.5yrs. I would like to add to this previous comment. The company have been so supportive during the period just after my mother passed. They sent me flowers and well wish messages which has ment a lot and made me feel a valued member of the NIC team. I absolutely loved my cleaning job at NIC! My supervisor "Mandy is a real credit to the team. However, she does not always get the credit she deserves! All my fellow cleaners, you will be missed. Due to Covid, my personal circumstances changed and it meant that I could no longer work. I want to personally give a massive FAT thank you to the area manager Kerry! What a star you are. You were always there when I needed anything. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Down to earth, straight to the point and honest. Ashame there isn't more like you.

NIC have been cleaning my company premises for several years now, and have always given an exemplary service. The standards are excellent, and they have always been quick to follow up with any requests - but especially during these times. We had a case of COVID-19 within the staff, and NIC were able to come in immediately and perform an Electrostatic clean, which meant that it was safe for the staff that had not been in contact with the COVID positive employee to come in to the office the next day. This saved me and my company so much money by not having to shut the entire company down for two weeks! Thank you NIC!

I have worked for NIC for around 18 months now and have never experianced any issue's with management, pay or day to day work life. I have been promoted twice; starting as a Cleaner, then a Cleaning Manager and now an Area Supervisor. There are many progression oppertunities for those interested and who out the work in. Training oppertunites are available also to help you move up or to help you work better. The management style of this company is that everyone is viewed as an individual, you arent just a number like many other companies ive worked for. I have always felt very supported, not just by my immediate manager but also management from the Ops level also, previous and current. This is a brilliant company to work for, and I would highly reccomend to anyone.

Since becoming a cleaning manager with nic ( lydney branch) a few months ago I can honestly say they are a brilliant company to work for . Always on the end of the phone / email when I need them and nothing is too much trouble for them . My staff at lydney are all lovely , polite and work hard , Sharon is however my right hand woman and goes above and behind her duties to make the store lovely and clean , often staying over her shift to do this even though she is never expected too, but simply because she wants too, I would be lost without her , she’s an asset to nic , and to the store alike . Taking the job with nic was the best career move I have made and my home and work life balance is great 😊

Originally I placed a bad review about nic, Because of our manageress who was a bully lazy and a liar. I had repeatedly complained to our operations manager and regional manager, who ignored what was going on. But now they are no longer with the company and we have new management who listen to what you have to say. So things are on the up. Yes we're still short staffed and over worked as with all places these days. If a customer wont pay for extra hours and staff theres nothing nic or anyone can do about it. So really what it boils down to is, if you're feeling overworked underpaid and not appreciated, then congratulations you've joined the rest of humanity.

I have worked for nic for 3 year and i love my job. I love the team we have and i have just made superviser and i like morrison staff as well. Only think i can say bad is we need new buckets every couple of months. We need Mop heads and cleaning stuff at hand when needed. Not having the right stuff makes our jobs harder and makes our jobs take longer. The time we waist on looking for stuff could be used cleaning. As for the company it self ive had no problems. When i have ive phoned with a problem they have sorted it stright away. I enjoy going to work as i enjoy the team we have. ive been able to work hard and get my self promoted to superviser. Other then the equipment problem every think else is good. Ive had a good manager for the last couple years and been able to get support when needed and help.

It was a good company to work for. I left in August as I had a few family problems but all sorted now and wish I never left ☹️ There is pros and cons about working here just like the other company’s the only difference is you can actually phone and speak to the director of this company and he will try and sort any issues out. The pay is great.... and you are left to work your own area out like it’s your own business... I wish I could turn back the clock as I would of grunted and bared the family problems and still been working for a great company..... Regards Darren

The company is OK to work for. But working in supermarkets is horrible especially in morrisons staff have no respect treat you like dirt and so on. And as for there security they need to consatrate on there own job! Trouble makers. But I do think nic need to look into more in why there staff are hated so much. Morrisons would not get away with this kind of discrimination with there own!! Staff, This is why nic are going frew so much staff not cause of nic its cause of morrisons!! I hope NIC do look at this and ask why this is? But overal nic are OK to work for not had any problems with them 😉 If it wasn't for morrisons I would of gave 5 star🤔

Been asking for a P46 form becuase im on emergancy tax but the women on the phone wont help me. Also payslips are very vauge and does not show hours worked, tax deductions or NI deductions. Company has 0845 number which is exspensive to call.
