Domestique is an excellent cleaning company. Caroline is excellent with communication. The cleaners were extremely professional and clean my home with top notch standard. Can’t ask more. Will highly recommend to anyone who is looking for professional and great quality house cleaning 🥰

My sister gifted me this deep cleaning service for my birthday. Barbara and team did a great job in doing it. Our house smelled good and looked like new after the 8 hours cleaning session, especially the wash rooms and kitchen. I will definitely book them again.

From the moment I met with Caroline to discuss my requirements, I knew this was the cleaning company for me. Caroline was very professional and passionate about her business. Caroline did not try and hard sell any service but walked through the options available from one off spring cleans to regular cleaning. It was not about hard selling but about making sure that the services offered suited my needs. I booked with no hesitation and have never been disappointed. I have been using Domestique for around 6 months now and the cleaning is to a very high standard. It is the best thing I did and working full time enabled me to have more spare time without having to spend weekends catching up with the chores. I have recommended Domestique to all my friends and had no hesitation in doing so. So if you want a regular cleaner each week or one of cleans Caroline and Domestique certainly fit the bill. Caroline and the team are hardworking, professional and trustworthy and the results are fabulous and excellent value for money too!

I cannot now manage to clean my house so easily and approached Domestique. Caroline took time to ensure what my exact needs were and provided me with an excellent cleaner who is punctual and thorough on every visit. When cleaner was ill Caroline contacted me and promptly arranged a replacement cleaner who was equally good. Cannot recommend enough.

Domestique has been very good at supplying and managing cleaners for regular and one off cleaning for us. Very pleased with the quality of work Barbara's cleaning team did on a house, that was left in a very poor condition after tenants moved out and for regular cleaning done by Lisa and Jess, all of which are very thorough and friendly. We had been using Domestique for 5 months. We have two large bulldogs and to get a cleaner who is OK with the dogs on there own can be challenging. To Domestique's credit they found us a pair of cleaners who were good with the dogs. We were asked to increase our time from 3 to 4 hours and at the beginning the pair were very good however 6-8 weeks in the quality fell and we were being asked to add another hour to the clean. After feeding back to Domestique the clean improved for a week and then was back to being below standard again. We then had cleaners switch for another pair. They were very good and actually did a better clean in 3 hours than the last did in 4. I was very happy. Then one week they just didn't show up! Upon contacting Domestique I was told the cleaner had moved away from MK. The way Domestique work, like may cleaning companies, is you pay them a monthly fee and then pay the cleaners direct. The fee is for insurance, management of the cleaners and admin etc. I thought the fee was quite high and I expected Domestique to at least have some proactivity. But it was always down to me to tell them when the cleaners were late, didn't show or even when the original team had spit. We terminated our contract with Domestique and there was no attempt to retain us a customer. And upon returning our key we were given someone else key! I will add they were always polite and quick to respond to calls and emails. But I just couldn't keep taking days off work, or working from home to show new cleaners and be there with them for the first few cleans with our dogs. I would be hesitant to recommend Domestique as I think there are better companies out there where the fees are less and the management of the cleaners is better.

Domestique have been looking after our weekly cleaning requirements for three years. Comms are good and the management overlay ensures good continuity, in the round. The lack of fifth star represents some inconsistencies with staffing - and some variability of quality of staff - but this is probably an industry-wide issue. I would heartily recommend Caroline and Martin to anyone who wants to try Domestique out! Give them a go...

Hello Ellie, I read your damning review on the Domestique website and felt that I needed to reply. To set the record straight I was asked to do a one off clean at your cottage. I arrived to find a skip on the front lawn and two builder's emptying a wheelbarrow full of concrete in to it. You came out to meet me holding your baby. You introduced yourself and then the builder's. They then disappeared in to the house and you proceeded to show me around. There was a fine film of brick dust over everything and not only that but there was a kango drill going full blast, which was absolutely deafening. I was shocked. No mention had been made to Caroline about builder's working on site. Under normal circumstances, a builders clean would mean a team of cleaners would go in after the builder's had finished and not whilst they are still working! You then proceeded to tell me that you had only just moved in, and that all of your furniture was coming tomorrow, as were your parents. Throughout this the kango drill was digging up your concrete floor with only a sheet suspended across the door to, separate us. Strangely you seemed to not think that I would have a problem with this?!? As you neglected to mention this to Caroline I can only assume that you were trying to get a clean done on the cheap, and that you think all cleaner's are stupid. If I had known what I was walking in to I would never have agreed to come in the first place.

These guys have been amazing. Even when a new cleaner has been needed, there was no disruption to our service and every cleaner we’ve had has been incredibly good - they clean the weird plastic bit at the bottom of the shower screen, inside the microwave and everything! Highly recommend
