I use Andy every year. He is polite, arrives when he says he will and is very conscientious and ensures everything is left clean and tidy. Andy comes in July and end of September I have my Aga serviced and turned on by a qualified engineer. He does a smoke test in the flu to ensure all is clear and because Andy does a good job, the chimney passes the test every year. Very happy to recommend Andy.

A professional and very friendly island based family business. Initially we used the guys for the chimney sweep service for which we were thoroughly satisfied. We later decided we would like to install a wood burner, but were unsure of the best and most suitable option based on our budgets and needs. Both Andrew and Lewis couldn’t have made more effort to assist us by offering a cost effective and highly efficient solution that has far exceeded our expectations. We absolutely could not recommend the gents more highly, and will definitely be requesting their services for future sweeps and fireplace maintenance, as well as passing their business cards in to our island friends.

Amazing service, absolutely recommend. Having received a call from renters saying there as an animal trapped behind the boarded up fireplace, I called WightSweep for advice. Not only were they helpful, but arranged to come the same day. Despite having to cut through plasterboard, this was managed neatly, quickly to help both house and bird. Tenants couldn’t have been more complimentary about how polite and professional they were. Exceptional service.

Fantastic from beginning to end! We use Wight Sweep every year for our biomass boiler. They are very quick and flexible with their appointments, and always arrive on time. They are extremely clean and tidy and are very professional. Priced very fairly too. We could not ask for a better service.

I was very happy with the service I received from WightSweep. They responded promptly to my initial query, gave a reasonable quote, turned up on the time and day agreed and were friendly and professional. I had my chimney swept and a large rooks nest removed. The job was done very tidily and efficiently and everything left clean. They provided further advice and information and are hopefully returning to line my chimney, install a stove and put cowls on my chimney stacks to prevent further nest building. I recommend this service.

Lewis, came to sweep my chimney on the 18/5/21. He was very professional, removed a dead pigeon that had unfortunately fallen down, cleaned the base of the chimney, where bird droppings had accumulated and did all other necessary inspections. The previous owners had kindly left both chimneys unswept prior to moving out - we guessed this when soot started falling into the dining room where they took out a wood burner and left the hole open. Andy - WightSweep took 4 large bags of soot out of the chimney's stating they hadn't been swept for years. He is also arranging to get and fit a plate to blank off the dining room chimney, so we are looking forward to seeing him soon.
