Adam has now swept and cleaned our woodburner & chimney for a second year running and once again it is spotless and ready to go for the winter. When he did the first sweep last year he identified that the previous house owners hadn’t registered the installation correctly with building control, which allowed us to chase down the installers and get this rectified. Without this, our insurance could have been invalidated. Adam provides a truly holistic service – with a range of equipment that wouldn’t look out of place in Saddam Hussein’s back office, what this man doesn’t know about rodding, suction and combustion airflow isn’t worth knowing. With wit as sharp as his tools, a visit from Adam is guaranteed not only to leave your flue sparkling but will also brighten up even the dullest day that Plymouth has to offer. Perfect Service! I couldn't have asked for a better service. I called Adam on Monday morning and he was able to come out the following day to clean my chimney, which has not been cleaned in at least two decades! I know you aren't meant to write reviews after wine, but here goes... Adam has swept the chimney(s) in our house twice now. Year one we had just moved in and taken a hammer and bolster chisel to the covered up fireplace in the lounge. He smoke tested it, swept, offered advice, and left me confident about installing the fireplace. Year two (today) he swept the lounge chimney, complimented me on my work, and checked it over. He then swept the chimney we had opened up and fitted with a new fireplace over the summer in the front bedroom (not to blow my own trumpet, but I'd done a good job upstairs too). Adam will be coming back next year to sweep again and you never know, there might be a gaping hole in the kitchen/dining room that needs checking over too. Honestly, can't recommend highly enough. Adam has a wicked sense of humour and probably spent far too long drawing inappropriate pictures on the chalk board where we hang the front door keys.... But that's part of what makes him great

He was on time, in fact a little early, which I like as it shows good preparation. I have used RAW for the last few years and am always thoroughly impressed. The service is impeccable. It's the kind of thing that I could easily forget to organise, but they are brilliant at sending me an annual reminder and really good at being able to offer appointment times that work for me. As a military wife, I am often home alone with a baby, and it can be a bit disconcerting having people in the house. However the professionalism, politeness and friendliness shown by RAW, really puts me at ease. Also, they are super tidy! There is never any mess left behind, which may perhaps be something one should be able to expect, but according to friends of mine that have used other sweeps, its apparently not!
