As we got sick from Covid and end up in hospital (me and my husband) and our house was big mess and needed to be deep clean and disinfect all over, I contacted the company. They did the impossible to organise couple to come in the day after and to do the job.We have discussed over the phone what exactly needs to be done in details and how long it will take. The couple turn up on time and they did marvellous job. They were hard working and cleaned up thoroughly everywhere. Nice, polite and respectful as well. Once we moved in I noticed that the windows and the carpet ,the extractor hood and other things were cleaned properly but I can’t say the same about the whole flat.
It was not cleaned thoroughly as I would expect it to be cleaned. There was some dirt at the bottom of our kitchen furniture. It seems like the cleaners didn’t bother to clean hard -to-reach parts like the bottoms of furniture, around the kitchen cabinet knobs etc
We paid 218£ for the whole flat to be cleaned considering the fact that it was almost empty and had no furniture except the fitted kitchen when the cleaners were there.
I know it took the cleaners around two hours to do the flat which is really fast but I would rather them spend more time paying more attention to details than do it that quickly and go.
I’m not sure if we will use the service again.

After tenancy cleaning - this was completed very well and they contractors were on time, professional and even had cash on the spot for change.
After builders cleaning - I would not entirely recommend Happy House as the contractors who came and completed the cleaning was in a rush (i felt). When it was ready for me to check, I found so many areas that they had forgotten and I was they showing each one and how they responded (via cleaning) was also a rush. there were times I had even helped them clean because it was getting late for them and for me. I felt two person for this type of cleaning (and the size of the property) was inadequate. After several email exchanges (which they had tried to defend every comment), they did offer a discount for the next service.
I would recommend Happy House Cleaning develop and design quality controls in place that is reviewed and signed (via paper / electronic) before completion and payment. Also add the use of photos too.
Their customer service (via phone) was great and supportive.

Reading the negative reviews here, and the responses from the company, I see that all negative reviews are responded to - not to apologise, but to prove the customer wrong. This is an interesting customer care strategy and makes me wonder why they don't just apologise for poor service. The company have many satisfied customers, so in dealing with the negative reviews, I don't see how this inability to apologise helps them.
A cleaner was booked early April for a four hour clean. Alone in the flat, the male cleaner arrived. He was aggressive, and only did 2 hours of cleaning. Nothing was cleaned to a high standard. There was a language barrier, and when asked to do more cleaning, as had been booked, he took offence.
This man knows the address and the location of where he cleaned, so the date of the clean will not be disclosed in this review.
Any woman booking with this company, who does not want to be alone in her flat with an aggressive man, ask for a female cleaner.

A month ago I had to move out and of course I had no time to clean the property after me for the check out day.
It was first of all , very easy scheduling and they gave me reasonable quote straight away.
I was not available to stay with them while cleaning but as I found out later was not necessary.
The cleaning team have done their job so good, that on the check out day everything was spot on and "professionally cleaned to a highest standards" as written on the check out report. And of course the deposit released shortly in full.

After several emails, providing extensive info including that it was a second floor flat we arranged a window cleaning time. Then they sent 2 separate cleaners who both said it was too high up to clean. One arrived with a 1m step ladder. I blame the booking team as I felt very bad for the tradesmen who came to the flat and and were unable to do the job or get paid.

They did a good job, the place was cleaned well and my new tenant coming in after was happy. This also means that when they move out, the place should be cleaned to the same standard, so I'll be recommending them to my current tenant too.
