Well you can forget the optician that offers ear wax removal. After visiting six of their shops, on line, to book an appointment the best they could offer was in five weeks time. Ear Medics offered me an appointment in a few days time. I opted for a home visit and Sohal arrived on time and explained the procedure which he carried out very efficiently. Highly recommended. I phoned on Saturday morning , and much to my surprise an appointment was made for a home visit the very next day..it was all done so easily and quickly with no problems. Was struggling to locate a service to help clear my ears which were significantly blocked and causing discomfort. Called this company after seeing positive reviews online. Home appointment within days and sorted brilliantly. Was a bit anxious, but Sohail was brilliant and talked me through the process and his thinking of what would work best. Keen to check I was comfortable throughout which was appreciated. Within 30 mins or so, the pressure in my ears was relieved and hearing a lot better. Would defo recommend!

I am so pleased with the service we received. Initially we had a consultation for my 8 year old daughter in September and it ended up being a free of charge visit with advice to consult the nhs and at this time there was no need for wax suction. Fast forward 6 months when we were finally seen by the Nhs and were advised that we needed syringing which could be around a 6-9 month wait. I messaged ear medic and was fitted in promptly. Mr Ashfaq arrived as arranged with full ppe and instantly put both myself and my daughter at ease. He showed me the insides of her ears which were very full and very quickly and painlessly removed the nasty wax build up. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend.

Nice enough guy but disappointed with the hygiene. When he took the equipment out of his case, I was disgusted to see the tube attached was full of other people's ear wax ! He quite nonchalantly told me they use the same tube for everyone! Then he proceeded to take the old scope/probe which he'd used on previous client off, and just put it on my tablecloth without using any kind of wrapping. Not what I would expect from a clinician.
