We recently had a new combi boiler installed at the beginning of November. Steve, the contractor that carried out the work was an absolute diamond. It took him forever to figure out the pipework for the boiler that was already in situ but it didn't phase him at all. He was polite and professional at all times and went above and beyond our expectations. I can honestly say that i wouldn't hesitate in recommending them as a company and should the need arise i would definitely use them again. Exceptional service and excellent value for money. Couldn't fault anything.

He broke the cupboard door the boiler sits in and dropped a tool on the worktop denting it.

Just had my new Vaillant boiler installed and cavity wall insulation by Energycare. Everyone was lovely, professional and did a perfect job. I can't believe how quick and mess free it was. Have already recommended.

Given 3 stars as good and bad points:
Good: Worcester boiler is excellent and working well. Will arrived early and worked really hard for 1.5 days he had to re-site the boiler and install a new one so fair bit of work. The heating is brilliant and they added thermostatic valves to our rads after I requested it. Sam bailey was very helpful on email and Dan the surveyor was much more impressive than another company's surveyor we had round. Bad: extra pipes were needed which wasn't brought up in the survey so now the bedroom is covered in copper pipes, However we can box them in. The plumber made loads of holes by mistake under the boiler and filled them with silicone so looks messy now. The electrician was unable to finish work as our electrics needed some work so we had to get that sorted and ask them back. In the meantime got a few letters asking us to complete the finance forms. I emailed them saying job was not completed. Got a rude reply from their director David Malia saying my credit rating would be affected etc when I was merely informing him what was going on. Called them and he wouldn't speak to me.
We got another electrician back to complete work, wiring boiler to main electrical supply he pointed out the original electrician had not secured the cable casing to the walls and were all coming loose. So he fixed that.
Overall an ok company with some plus points but some below par workmanship which for the £3500 they charged is not really good enough.

We've just had our boiler and system updated by Energy care group and I couldn't have been happier with the service and work that they have done. At every stage they have been polite, courteous and professional - I don't know many other companies that have engineers / electricians that would stay to finish a job past 6pm on a Friday, and I quote 'I didn't want to leave you without heating over the weekend'. Top job, I would recommended them without hesitation. Thanks again.

Fantastic engineers!
Not the easiest job to do as they were taking away my old back boiler, but after two days worth of work you wouldn't of known they had been, except the new shiny Worcester Bosch boiler on the wall. Thanks to the engineers and also thanks to the electrician, surveyor and the office staff for making the whole process go so smoothly. Mike

We was pondering weather to use a big company or a one man band. one man bands tends to be cheaper. we got 4 quotes in the end. 2 big companies. energy care, british gas and 2 smaller companies. whats stood out for us and made us go with energy care is the surveyor had a structured system of what a job would cost... rather than a salesman trying to get as much as they can out of you. keely who carried out the survey was very personable and the price was on par with the one man bands. they offered us finance deals like pay nothing for 6 months and the likes. but we decided we never needed to employ finance arrangements . booking time was 10 days. pretty good this time of year. and we had a gas engineer turn up 8am on day 1 of a 2 day job and manage to get the system fired for us over night so we was not in the cold. this was at the engineers expense as he worked until nearly 8:30pm. day two we had some making good and final touches and paper work which was all explained in great detail. we now have a 7 year guarantee and a building regulations compliance certificate which ads peace of mind knowing the boiler was installed properly... i will add though. should you want to keep your guarantee you do need to get your boiler serviced every year. which seems a little daft getting a new boiler serviced but i guess its a small price to pay for a good boiler and that added peace of mind. would i recommend Energy Care? without a doubt. they turn up when they say they do. the engineer was polite, swift and sacrificed his evening to ensure we had a working boiler. this is truly a great choice when you need a new boiler

After being refused about 3yrs ago by another company for having too small loft door,i tried again after receiving leaflet through the door. Customer service couldn't have been more helpful. I was able to choose the day for the survey. Very polite and professional. Was also able too choose the day of insulation. One young man turned up,very surprised as i was expecting two because of the size of the hatch. He was amazing not a small man but just got on with the job.
