I was particularly looking for a Vaillant boiler (recommended for quality) to replace our old floor standing boiler. I found Kraken Plumbing and Heating via the Vaillant site. Shane was quick to respond and gave us great advice on first visit. I promptly received a competitive quote and all communications were well handled. Turned up on time and did a great job. Very pleased with the neat installation. I would highly recommend Shane's services and I would certainly use him again for future plumbing/heating jobs.

Kraken Plumbing & Heating I had a leaking towel radiator which I need to replace and switched off my boiler from the spur switch instead of the boiler switch. This caused a surge and blew the boilers circuit board. Evidently a know fault. So we had no hot water. The boiler was 15 years old and it was an ideal time to get a more efficient replacement in the summer months, with a 10 year warranty on parts and labour and hopefully reliability in the winter. I contacted Kraken Plumbing and Shane came around and to get me hot water again lent me a replacement circuit board to get the old boiler going again, while I sourced a new boiler and waited for a day in his busy schedule when he could fit it. Shane came back on the day agreed and replaced the my boiler, he did excellent job, and I am very happy with it. I’m hoping to use Shane again in the future and highly recommend him.

Kraken plumbing and heating Ltd installed a heat pump in my house. They did the job very well, leaving the space very clean, paying attention that I would have hot water as soon as at the end of the first day of work.They provided clear explanations whenever I would ask questions. They were even able to find bricks of the color of my house to fill the hole left by my old gas boiler. The definition of above and beyond!

5 star service from Shane, having received a couple of quotes from other plumbers for either a new boiler or replacing radiators, upon inspection Shane noticed the boiler was just set to low. This has not been noticed by 2 other plumbers. Shane quickly altered the boiler setting then checked all my radiators were balanced and heating up, even went as far as checking that there was no a blockage in them on his device. I cannot thank him enough, for his professional and honest service. I will 100% use Kraken Plumbing again and am arranging to have my boiler serviced through them. Good to know there are still honest and reliable trades people out there, that also take the time to explain. Thank you!

Vailllant ecoTEC plus 832 H combi annual service. I found Shane through Vaillant recommended skilled service engineers. I had an immediate response and offered some available slots. Once booked communication was excellent and Shane completed a very thorough service with his colleague. A fault was pinpointed with the pressure sensor and this was cleaned and not replaced and after testing was working perfectly again. If allowed to continue it could of resulted in a major fault with the boiler so it shows how important an annual service is. Very friendly, very professional will definitely use again

I highly recommend Kraken Plumbing. Shane installed everything in our en-suite including a rainfall shower, back to wall toilet, units and towel rail, he tiled the walls and floor and it now looks like a showroom thanks to his great attention to detail. It all started with a quick response to our request of quotation to install a new boiler and new cylinder as well as changing the all from a vented to an unvented system. Shane advised us to the best option and followed it by a very competitive quote. Shane started the job on time and during the 4 long days job he didn’t spare any effort to make sure we had hot water by the end of every day. The installation done by Shane is very neat and clean. Kraken Plumbing and heating recently undertook a full plumbing and heating overhaul on my new home. The previous system was old and inefficient. Shane came, measured up, priced up and got busy making upgrades. We had a new boiler, all new radiators, new pipe runs, new Kicthen plumbing, waste and other works undertaken. Great professional service. Shane was extremely helpful all the way through the process. He was happy to field questions any time and helped us to understand the pros and cons of various boiler options, providing advice and guidance without overselling. Once we made a decision the installation was carried out proficiently, very covid aware (mask worn at all times which can’t be comfortable) whilst also answering more questions from me as I still had not grasped all the new technology! Shane and his apprentice Ollie were both v professional when installing a new vaillant eco boiler and 3 new radiators for us. Their work was 1st class and they tidied up after themselves. Dust sheets were put down to minimise mess. They also had to install a new flue on the roof. When installing the radiators upstairs they helped with moving beds etc and they pulled up and replaced carpet to do under floor pipes, they also upgraded old pipe work throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. They even wanted to put back cupboard doors we had removed ourselves. We would definitely recommend this Company and would give more than 5 stars if we could.
