Great installation by Rob with help from Del. Had a helpful, informative discussion about the options available to us and ultimately opted to change an old gravity fed system to an unvented one and moved the tank into the loft. Really pleased with the outcome, airing cupboard now empty to convert, more room in the loft too as pressurised tank set back further than old storage tanks and most importantly all pressure and water issues now resolved and future proofed for decades to come. Pipework and install super neat and laid out thoughtfully to ensure easy to service in future and to isolate any parts as needed. Brilliant communication throughout and always on time, friendly and tidy. Highly recommended.

Rob did a great job diagnosing our home heating problems. He provided a clear explanation of the faults and the solutions in a way that was simple to understand. Rob was very quick to respond , diagnose my boiler fault ( no heating or water ) and to replace the parts & service it faster than anyone I’ve used in 18 years of living in Portishead. My boiler ( the original -Gloworm 12 HXI ) is now more efficient than the day it was installed and I’ve got the paperwork to prove it . Rob is a friendly guy with over 30 years of experience in this field and clearly knows his stuff . He was recommended to me by my next door neighbour Keith who had Rob replace his boiler.

Our boiler packed up suddenly with no warning and we were left without hot water. We called around a number of local heating engineers and Rob was the first to respond. He came around the following morning and gave us two options: replace a couple of parts and perhaps get another 2 years use out of our boiler, or buy a new one. We felt informed enough to make the right decision, but not pressured to take any specific option and we opted to invest in a new boiler as it felt like a false economy to do the former. Rob gave us a date that was further away then we’d ideally have liked, but we trusted him and so we decided to wait. He then called back and said that he could come two days sooner and we were delighted and then on the afternoon before he was due to arrive, he called again and said that he could get started that day! 30 minutes later, he arrived. The following day he and his colleague worked tirelessly, fitted the new boiler, a new thermostat, took all waste away, left everything tidy and even fixed a small potential gas leak in the process. Both were friendly and respectful and diligent and we honesty could not be more impressed or satisfied with their work and service. We would recommend Harbourside Heating without hesitation - an honest professional is what you need when you’re left without hot water and that’s exactly what you get from these guys. If we could give them 6 stars, we would.

Trustworthy, timely, tidy and thorough. Replaced our boiler recently but gave us options to replace the parts if we preferred. Due to the boiler’s age we decided to bite the bullet and replace. Fair price, easy to communicate with and I would recommend to anyone I know. Thanks Rob.
