Had gas engineer out to the house today, brett was his name. Guy was great. Kept me informed with everything he was doing. Also fixed a problem with my cooker hob that ive had for years. Top marks👍

I needed a new boiler and Edinburgh Heat Team had been recommended to me. Kris (the owner) was knowledgeable and helpful and I decided on replacing the old heat-only boiler with a combination one and some associated work. This was installed over three days by Brett and Dave who worked very hard and were always polite and helpful (answering my many questions, explaining what was being done and why) and inspiring confidence that they were competent and professional. Everything was completed to my satisfaction and the house left tidy. I am very happy with the result and recommend the Edinburgh Heat Team to anyone looking for a new boiler.

The guy that carried out the work was brilliant - polite and on time. They also give you the option of having an invoice sent with payment terms that allow you time to pay the invoice, ie wait on pay day etc. Highly recommended!

I called Edinburgh Heat Team on a Sunday evening and spoke to Kris about a leak I had on our boiler to which Kris was really responsive and was at my property within 20 minutes as this was an emergency. Kris then gave me quote to fix the old boiler and a couple of new quotes to get a new boiler. We decided to go with a new boiler as it’s just peace of mind as we now have a 10 year warranty. Kris and his employee fitted the boiler in the same week and what a difference I have noticed with the new boiler and smart thermostat. Have used Kris and his team of engineers on a number of occasions. Quick and professional at all times. Kris sent his engineer Ian round to fit a new thermostat and sort a leaking valve. Ian arrived on time and ensured carpet was fully protected before he started dealing with the issue. I had a leak at the connector that joins the tenement's lead rising main to my flat's copper supply pipe. It was not an easy job to replace the connector, as it is located in a confined space. However, it proved no problem for Brett from the Edinburgh Heat Team. He got the job done quickly, efficiently, with minimum disruption to the water supply for the other tenants and with excellent customer relations! I had a leaking shower tray, and although they were confident that the cause was cracked silicone, they still (carefully) lifted floorboards to check the condition of the waste and mains pipes to be absolutely sure. All the silicone in the shower was replaced, not just the faulty patch. I would absolutely recommend Kris & his team, and will use them in the future.

I take reviews seriously and I always try to be as objective as I can about what I write. A 3-star review here, because the boiler was changed and is working properly. No issues there, clearly technicians are trained and qualified. What earns the last two starts from me is professionalism. I am forgoing the state of my walls, because it's a dirty job because fair enough it may not be avoided. However, it is not professional to leave rubbish behind in my yard and debris all over walkways and surrounded stones. I spent two hours cleaning it up to prevent harm to my 14-month old nephew who crawls all over the place. It is also not professional to leave behind a hole in a wall and not address it with me. Then doing nothing about it until I complain and then promise to fix it at some later date. This is not a 5-star service. A 5-star service reviews are reserved for true professionals who not only do the job right but also have enough respect for my home to leave it in the same state as they found it.
