Came next day for a survey and immediately diagnosed problem and work that needed to be done. Gave a fantastic recommendation for a company for a wood burner and within a couple of weeks we had bought it, he collected it and fitted within days as he had a cancellation. Over 2 days, Nigel and his team installed a new multi-fuel stove and flexible chimney liner. This involved first cleaning the chimney, then removing the existing grate and wooden fire-surround, digging back into the old fireplace to create room for the new stove, re-configuring and dressing the new space, using a cherry-picker to install the new flexible liner for the chimney, installing the new stove (which I provided - but which Nigel can also provide if required), installing a new (black slate) hearth and removing all debris/waste. A small amount of re-plastering was required, so Nigel put me in touch with a local professional who did the job very well. Nigel also installed a new oak mantelpiece (which I provided), and a black metal surround for the hearth to complete the job. All the work was done in a friendly manner - with regular referrals to myself - and to a high, professional standard, at reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

Excellent work by Nigel and his family team. 2 flues to install in our 14C farm house chimneys and connection to stoves. Tricky job but undertaken professionally and efficiently. A cheerful friendly and knowledgeable contractor.
