We're so glad we chose Glow Heating to install our new boiler, the price was great and the service was faultless. Jack answered all my questions about the new Bosch boiler including the install courteously and with great knowledge. Everything went smooth, they kept everything very clean during the process, taking out my old tanks in the loft and fitting a new-combi boiler as well as changing 2 rads for new ones. 3 months later when we needed to use the heating this October air had collected in the system and some rads would not heat up, called them and everything was sorted very professionally by Derek within a matter of minutes. They pride themselves about their service including Stefanie in the office and to date I totally agree, keep up the good work team Glow.

When I contacted them they were very helpful and they provided me with all the information regarding their services, costs and date they would be attending. Can't recommend Jack highly enough. He came to service my appliances after I'd been let down by another engineer. He was courteous, friendly and punctual, and not at all pushy when suggesting other products and services that might be useful, he just genuinely cares about helping the customer, and making sure everything is safe. He explained everything he was doing with my appliances and why, and was extremely helpful when we discovered my cooker was no longer safe to use, even arranging an electrician to fit a new socket for my new cooker and a scrap man to take my old one away. I would recommend him 100% and will never use anyone else from now on.

I can't recommend Jack and his team enough. Jamie came with him today and they both serviced my boiler and tightened up and sorted the valves on the radiators. Jack was very informative and answered all my questions about what he would be carrying out. He checked our carbon monoxide alarm to and told showed me that it would be running out in the next couple of months and he offered to change it for me They were very clean and tidy on their visit. A great local company. Our heating went on the blink, we called British Gas who installed our boiler but their response (automated) was to offer and appointment in three weeks time! Jack arrived when he said he would, very smart in appearance and his Van is very distinctive. We decided to change to a local company rather than BG which we have used for many years. Jack is very knowledgeable and carried out a excellent service, he was more than happy to explain when asked technical questions. === SERVICE === Our boiler started leaking on Sunday, the hot water stopped working and the heating came on constantly. Called Glow (based on a recommendation from our previous gas-safe plumber who has now retired) and they got someone round on Monday. Engineer was clearly an expert with huge amount of experience. Knew exactly what the issue was before even removing the cover. After removing the cover, he showed me what had happened (leak dripped onto a motor and blew it). Really professional. I will 100% be using them again. === PRICE === They have some kind of subscription payment on their website but you can also book them for one-off repairs (this is what we did). Engineer told me what parts he needed to install (he had them in his van), explained their price (£75). Labour was around £100 and it took about an hour for the repair. === OVERALL === Perfect. Will use again and will recommend to friends.

Derek came out to do our initial boiler assessment and I told him about an intermittent fault (a loud vibrating sounds) we’ve had since it was fitted 2 years ago. The manufacturer had been out previously and replaced a part and thought they had fixed it, but the problem re-occurred so we have just been putting up with it. Although the fault didn’t occur when Derek was here, he was able to determine what the likely cause was (partial blocked condenser pipe) and fixed it within 30 mins and it’s been behaving since! He also let our dog ‘greet him’ and she then whined at the door when he left! Excellent service would thoroughly recommend.

Had been let down by HomeServe who didn’t arrive on three occasions. Hoped a local provider might do better. Hopefully more accessible, reliable and trustworthy. Decided I’d opt for complete package of care to cover boiler, CH, plumbing, electrics and drains. My boiler was inspected and serviced. A report provided online subsequently. I drew attention to a broken toilet and faulty electrical switch as additional concerns. Whilst I wasn’t covered for these they sorted both problems for me, for a fair fee. Toilet fixed later the same day and also switch a bit later. Hopefully this level of support can continue and if so I will remain a satisfied customer. Time will tell. I need peace of mind and reassurance that my problems can and will be rectified. Initial impression is very favourable. A local company receptive to local needs. Not just another customer.

I decided on a new boiler and jack sent his team out to install it aswell as making the outlet/ pipework safer than the old setup. I also purchased a hive system which jack helped to set up and explain how to use. My new boiler showed up problems with old radiators. Jack was at the end of the phone to talk me through the basics (putting pressure into the boiler) until he could come and fix the radiator. Within the price of the work I received a years glow plus membership which meant the problems could be fixed free of charge. Wow what a find! A 5* local run business! I spotted a Facebook post for Glow Heating Services Black Friday deal for a hive, great value for money, around £50 cheaper than anyone else I had found! He came within a week to fit the hive and left his details to give him a call if I was unsure of anything or had any problems. Despite not being booked in prior, whilst he was there he made time to do a full service on the boiler and fix a radiator that hasn’t been getting very hot for sometime and then booked a follow up visit to come fix something else and make sure everything was still working ok. Again very promptly the Monday following the initial visit on the Friday! I Would highly recommend Jack & Glow Heating Services to anybody! 10 out of 10!
