Alex and his team installed a ASHP for us in Sept 2020. The team is highly competent, very professional and work to a very high standard. They do not hesitate to put the hours in and go the extra miles that guarantee a successful delivery of the service. Alex has met a very tight schedule of work and kept us up to date on every aspect of the job. I highly recommend for renewable, they definitively know what they are talking about and will deliver to the highest standard!

Contacted Element 5 for Green Homes Grant (GHG) quote (Nov 2020), with a particular interest in solar thermal -- which Duncan and Alex both confirmed they were qualified to install. They provided a detailed quote, seemed knowledgeable and professional, and we submitted our GHG application using their quote and certification deatails. Six weeks later, GHG contacted us to say that Element 5's certification did not cover solar installations, which Alex subsequently confirmed. Three stars (and not just one) because I don't doubt their installation experience, and I appreciated the detailed, fully transparent quote -- with options included to reduce overall costs. But I get no compensation for time spent and lost on what they knew from the start would be a dead end, unless I gave up on solar thermal and chose to only install an air heat pump. This feels like a straight-up bait and switch in an attempt to get GHG pay for a £12k air heat pump system, without the solar thermal elements. Mid Jan 2021, we're now back at square one with our GHG submission, which we will pursue with our no. 2 choice of installer. Poor form, Alex.

Removing out of date and hard to get at boiler in a listed building. Installing a more efficient one in a new position was a very tricky problem. Alex and team did a very professional job. Every thing working well. Highly recommended.
