Progas have installed and maintained my boilers for 8 years, and I'm really happy I found them. Everyone I've ever dealt with has been very polite, and everything has always been explained to me clearly and patiently. The must trustworthy lot in the trade, highly recommended!

Progas are always super professional and transparent. I have found them very trustworthy and even though I've had a bit of a dodgy boiler, they've been really good at being transparent on what is/isn't possible. Always very helpful when I have phoned them and even found me a plumber at Christmas when I had a leak!

The managing agents at the flat I’d just bought were being especially awkward, but Del and Dan met all their demands and were cheerful about it throughout. Del offered some much needed advice and reassurance, and helped make the process much less daunting for me. When Kyle and his team came to install the boiler, they were quick, polite and tidy, and I’ve been enjoying the benefits of the new boiler ever since. And all this for a really reasonable price. Progas came to fit Hive plus 18 smart radiator valves. They were here all day, worked extremely hard, were knowledgeable and helpful in setting up the system. AND were very reasonably priced, prompt and efficient. Highly recommended all round

Excellent service and top quality work! The job was to fit a whole central heating system: boiler, radiators, all the pipe work, remove the hot and cold water tanks and all the useless pipes. We had no gas in the property (except from the actual meter). Progas first came to establish a quote. They listened to everything I wanted and explained the requirements for fitting the boiler, etc. I very much appreciated their professionalism because I met with several other companies and as a woman, I was often patronised and made to feel uncomfortable (even by the British Gas engineer!). Derek from Progas made sure all my questions and concerns were dealt with and that I was clear on everything. He worked very hard and very patiently with me to make the quote fit in my budget while still matching my requirements. When the engineers came to do the work, they were very professional, respectful of my property and polite. They were always available to answer my questions and checked with me to make sure I was happy with everything. I felt very much at ease with them the whole time. Now the work is complete, I am most happy with the result: everything is nice and neat, radiators are perfectly centered, pipes are hidden away and they made sure I knew how to operate my system before they left. I still ended up forgetting some things so I called (as they had told me to) with a couple more question and I was put through to an engineer who was extremely helpful. I have nothing but praise for this company and I would use them again in a heartbeat as well as recommend them to everyone I know.

I've used Progas since they fitted central heating to my Victorian house in the late '90s. Since then they have serviced and modified the system as the house has been extended, and recently replaced the 16 year old boiler with a new eco model. Always helpful and knowledgeable, and I have recommended them to friends who have been equally happy

Well what can I say...Such a great service and really helpful people. I had my boiler fitted by these guys and it was a superb service, but better still, in March 2018 when we had an awful snow storm known as the Siberian "Beast from the East" my boiler wouldn't work. The team at Progas were on hand to help, despite getting almost 60 calls a day for over a week, regarding very similar problems. I am also suffering from a broken hand so it was virtually impossible for me to activate any of their advice myself, so within a couple of hours they had an engineer with me at no charge, whom sorted the problem instantly. I couldn't praise these guys enough!!! I was so relieved to have them there for me. I really couldn't recommend them more highly. I've already recommended them to friends whom use their services. Thanks again Progas...keep up the good work. We really appreciate it!

Have used Progas again to install a new Worcester Bosch boiler. Brilliant company you can trust to do a good job. Quick response with professional engineers who took their time to do a really good job. They left the place spotless Got a 10 year warranty as well.

I've used Progas for a couple years for my boiler servicing and they've always been great. However, this morning my boiler stopped working. I called them and the lovely guy at the end of the phone asked what was happening, what I had done so far, and then talked me through fixing it over the phone (the pipe was frozen outside). Great service and lovely people who stopped me freezing on one of the coldest days of the year.

I can only praise Progas. We had the central heating installed by this company and they were absolutely brilliant. Ever since we have had an annual maintenance contract with them. On the rare occasion, one winter, when the fan went on the boiler, they were absolutely superb. I had to take my elderly mother to the local hospital and after explaining my predicament they came once I had phoned them to say I was on my way home. Now that is a fantastic service for which I shall always be grateful.

I found this company to be the most honest and best priced of all the quotes I requested. They did not try and force be to buy but advised me and helped me understand. I never felt pressurised. Derek was most helpful in me making a decision. The work carried out was spot on. The workmen were punctual, just got on with the job - didn't stop once - left the place clean. But today they really went above and beyond, helping me fix central heating, free of charge, on their busiest day of the year - along with about 50 others whose outflow pipes had iced up too! Having recently purchased a property that was in need of modernising, Progas fitted a brand new central heating system with a combi-boiler. We immediately took to Derek from our first meeting with him and everything has gone very smoothly and the fitting was carried out swiftly and right on schedule. The finished installation is wonderful and the radiators were placed to our exact positions and requirements. They serviced my worcester bosch combi boiler. The engineer who came turned up on time, he was friendly and professional. He serviced the boiler and managed to fix a strange fault that it had, he also offered me advice on how I could save the amount of gas it used. I am one of the directors of this company and am writing in response to John Goodhews review on here. At no time did i bellow down the phone to Mr Goodhews wife. Infact, i suggested that maybe her husband call us to discuss the outstanding invoice to which she declined and offered to pay. I had previously sent a gentle reminder email requesting payment and had no response and was calling the customer and inquiring if there was any reason why they had not paid an invoice that had been outstanding for several months before i sent a final letter in the post. This customer would not even speak to me on the phone yesterday so i could put my side of things to him and all of the above can be verified my one of my colleagues in our office. I was actually writing an email to explain the situation to Mr Goodhew when he put this review up. Running a small business is difficult enough at the moment and is further exasperated when customers do not pay on time and do not even bother to contact ourselves as to any reasons why.
