Very happy with our stay in this hotel. The check in and out were very fast, friendly and efficient. Room was clean and very spacious especially for a London hotel. Great location. Breakfast was tasty if not maybe a little cold. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is on the doorstep of piccadilly circus and Leicester Square. Soho and China Town are a stones throw away. Our room was clean and comfortable. The double glazing kept the noise of the city out giving us a perfect night's sleep. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Superb location for many areas within Central London particularly Chinatown, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Them being a 5 min walk to either from hotel entrance. Hotel reception very welcoming and no issues. We had the top floor with a sofa bed that was all set up on arrival. Room had just about everything you require for a short stay, good size ensuite, AC, large flat screen tv, hairdryer, iron & board. Only issue was a drainage smell in the room that I believe was coming from the AC as when turned off, not as bad. Breakfast very good choice and comfortable. Buffet style with cereals, fruit, pastries, full English or continental on offer. Slightly disappointed I was not aware the bar was temporarily closed until spring to enjoy a night cap. However the free room bar with a small selection of drinks did kind of alleviate the situation. Will definately consider on next visit to the capital for sure, as staff are very good.

Superb location right on the edge of Leicester Square. Despite room looking out over one of the busiest areas of London in the evenings, there was absolutely no noise in our room. The room was a good size and the hotel was clean. The staff were all friendly and it was no problem for us to leave our bags with the hotel for the entire day after our night. Great value and will definitely return.

I stayed in a Junior Suite over the Bank Holiday weekend. Decent-sized room, very quiet, good air-con that was occasionally a bit on the clicky noisy side, though. I could have done with a tissue dispenser in room, but that's a minor omission. Teak room furniture was rather tired and dated and curtains didn't provide complete black-out for windows; however, the bed was massive and very comfortable, the bathroom a clean and more than decent boutique-style, room TV reception was good and the room well-lit. Room-cleaning service was timely and efficient, reception staff - particularly daytime and early evening - were also efficient, friendly and chatty, and also ensured any requests were rapidly followed up and actioned; so, a major plus there!. Breakfast - which is now buffet-style since Covid - featured all the essential offerings, although sausages were rather bland and dry. Overall, though, I was more than happy, and the price when I stayed was very reasonable given the location and time of year; so, I would recommend the hotel and particularly commend the reception staff who were always on point and clearly know their jobs which they carry out with pleasing and pleasant efficiency! Recommended!

Decent hotel in a great location. Adequate room that was clean. It had a refrigerator and a safe. They don't profide washcloths. Breakfast was included but just ok. The fried eggs were very under cooked but the chef was happy to make me eggs cooked properly. The scrambled eggs were not good. We didn't care for the sausage. They were kind to find some Tabasco for me from the kitchen. We decided to pay at a near by restaurant the 2nd morning but the Thistle breakfast will do in a pinch... except the coffee. Forget about it. The best part is the price and the location. We'd consider staying there again.

Stayed at the Thistle Piccadilly for 3 nights the first weekend in July ‘21. We have truly found a diamond in this hotel band will certainly be returning next time we’re in London. We were able to walk everywhere including all 3 of the theatres we’d booked, Oxford street as well as Buckingham Palace. The room - a superior double was very comfy - maybe the bed was slightly too firm for my personal liking. On the first night we did find the noise a little loud. If we hadn’t unpacked everything I may have asked for a room on the other side of the hotel - however, non of this would stop us coming back again - oh and breakfast as well as the staff were both outstanding. See you soon !!!

Reality is I'll probably try a different hotel next time as there are so many to choose from in the area but if this was the only hotel available I wouldn't have a problem making another booking.

Got upgraded to a junior suite which was a lovely surprise. The beds were soft and spacious. They gave bathrobes and a free minibar. The location was incredible (right in front of m&m world!). Staff were lovely and helpful. Couldn't find a fault. Definitely would return.

Where shall I start from thistle piccadilly Hotel is amazing morning team were amazing thetia and Laura checked us in excellent customer service then the night team sofia and eugen helped us a lot especially Laura took good care of my daughter. Minhaila helped my wife she needed somthing really appreciate her help. The room was amazing excellent view spacious comfy bed what a sleep it was I will definitely come back again and I will recommend this hotel to everyone . In terms of price / quality ratio - an excellent option! The room is very clean and comfortable, thoughtful design, everything is done beautifully and tastefully. The building itself, where the hotel is located, is also very interestingly decorated from the inside. The bed is soft and comfortable, the bedding is new. The metro is close, and you can even walk to the main attractions in the center. The system of "remote reception" is understandable and practical, you can quickly figure it out. In general, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of accommodation that I received for my money.

Very nice room. Plenty of space and huge bed. The quality of room is extremely good at a decent price. After all it is London. The reception might look a bit odd but nevertheless, the hotel room was really nice at one of the best locations for tourists in London. I was expecting it to be loud due to the crowd but the noise was minimal and I could have a very nice sleep during my 3-day stay there. Would definitely book this hotel again!

Decent hotel. The location might be nice for some but I don't like how crowded it is. Was surprisingly quiet inside. The biggest turn off for me is the size. It is tiny and if you need a crib like I did there is no where to walk around. The other major downside was that there are no operable windows. They have them all sealed up. Also, the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have expected. Someone else's hair was in the shower and bathroom floor. Staff was very nice and the location is close to everything touristy.

A cute little hotel in the most excellent location. The hotel was rather small - I'm used to (and prefer) larger hotels that have restaurants, bars, etc., inside of them. However, the location can't be beat. It's about 2 blocks away from the Picadilly tube station, and a couple blocks away from Soho (which is where all the good food is). At night, it's incredibly lively but none of the noise is audible from the room. The shower (no matter which way you turned the handle in the shower) was always warm, and the shampoo/conditioner is incredibly low end so I'd recommend bringing your own. Also, the maids did throw out one of my face washes the second day I was there which was a little bit annoying. Additionally, my stuffed bunny that I brought I found twice, left on the ground instead of the bed. The blanket that comes on the bed is one of the heaviest/warmest I've found in a hotel room. All in all, since you don't end up spending most of your time in the hotel I enjoyed my stay here and would likely stay here again.

Nice modern compact hotel right in the heart of Leicester Square. Rooms not overly big but in good condition and all amenities worked fine. Small gym was quite good. They let us check-in 2 hours early and check out one extra hour longer was nice.

Right on Leicester square! Big room with a massive bed (3 pillow width and you get 6 pillows in total) free softdrinks in minibar. Really big bathroom and a coffee machine. Some toiletries provided. Tv with a great selection of channels. I loved every minute of staying here. Nearly made me want to never leave the hotel! Highly recommend it and doubt I would stay anywhere else in future. Plus my room was so clean. I never write reviews unless I feel they are deserved! One more thing, the hairdryer was powerful and came with a thin head to straighten and robes are provided in room. Great service!

My new favorite place in the world. The most accommodating, kind, “above and beyond” staff ever. My grand daughter and I spent our first Christmas away from home and family here with our instant new family. When we couldn’t put a dent in our beautiful Christmas dinner, (too full from the full-course traditional English breakfast) and we couldn’t bear to throw the excellent yummy and beautifully plated food away, the staff wrapped it up and refrigerated it for us for supper! No silly “take/out” required: we were treated as genuinely “at home”. I will be back with my 4 other grand daughters and the rest of my family...over the years!

I was so excited to spend the weekend away at the Thistle Hotel at Piccadilly, my uncle had told me about the standard room he stayed in but as this was my better half birthday I thought I would splash out and get the junior suite. The pictures on the website is what sold me..<br/>Then when we arrived it appears to be an average room with a sofa but cost over £700. I never felt so disappointed especially paying out what I did.

Location is unbelievable! I had an issue with the in-room hotel iron ruining my pants. The manager (Sam) was very apologetic and reimbursed me for the damage. Great customer service made up for this unfortunate incident. Rooms could use a bit of maintenance (chipped paint etc.) but overall worth it for the stellar location.

Average hotel with respect accomodations, cleanliness and services. Rooms and toilets are small. The wardrobe is tiny and there is little space for anything else than sleeping on the bed. Best thing of the hotel is location. It is located 100m away Picadilly Circus, that is, in the very center of the city of London and surrounded by millions of locals, restaurants, attractions and people. The hotel is very expensive for what it offers but location may solve somewhat the negative points.

Fantastic location, opposite the glockenspiel on Leicester Square, near M&M World. Although my room overlooked the glockenspiel I didn't hear it. Overslept so didn't try the breakfast. Just next door is a Costa and two doors down is my favourite Thai restaurant in London. Easy walking distance to many of the theatres and on the doorstep of Chinatown. Enjoyed the hotel and location so much I stayed for longer the following week. Loved the walk-in shower in the en-suite bathroom. Would stay again.

Diamond in the rough, highly recommend staying here. Prices are very reasonable (and ours at least included breakfast). The times are spacious, modern, and climate controlled. Keep an eye on the thermostats because the default programming is... economical. This place is actually a bit closer to Leicester square than piccadilly, but it's a short walk to both, as well as trafalgur square. Perfect place to stay as a tourist visiting the city.

They seem to have tried to focus on important things - there's no big fancy reception, but it's a clean modern place with WiFi all round, and our room had great facilities like complimentary soft drinks in the fridge, a Nespresso machine with decent coffee, a huge comfy bed, huge tv in a sensible position, great shower, and a great view towards Leicester Square, but completely soundproofed so the crowds didn't disturb us at all. Nice downstairs bar and breakfast room, and a great location for central London and theatres. And the staff were really friendly and helpful. Was genuinely very impressed.

The hotel is really conveniently located for Leicester Sq, Soho, Covent Grdn etc... The room was clean and well presented. Check in was quick. Super fast free WiFi. Also, I was really impressed with how quiet the room was given where the hotel is. I knocked a star off for the size of the room (really quite small by international standards) and the "free non alcoholic mini bar" which had a variety of 3 items only.

A small hotel in the hearth of Leicester square in London. Centrally located close to both tube stations ( Piccadilly circus and Leicester square) so commuting is easy. Close to various restaurants and bars. Also close to quite a few theaters. The restaurant in the hotel is quite small and in a basement and although they serve a very good breakfast dining there is not a good option. Service at the hotel is great. We stayed in this hotel various times and usually we were given a room overlooking coventry street, but this time we were given a room overlooking a fire escape.

I went to Every Hotel for Boards game Club, which is held in their lower bar. The location is very nice, the staff is always friendly, and the bartenders can make great drinks! It's a fab location, with wonderful wifi.

A cost effective hotel in central London? Yes please! All I want is a quiet room, WiFi and a comfortable bed. Every Hotel do this and more by throwing in cleanliness, friendly staff and places to eat. The mini bar in my room was free. Sure, it just had some soft drinks and snacks in but it meant I could just relax and treat myself. The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix from!
