Nigel from PBS spent a long time answering all my questions and was very helpful given my lack of knowledge. We agreed on a Worcester Bosch boiler and Nest Thermostat controls. Everything was installed in a single day and I am very happy with the quality of the work.

Complete new boiler and radiator installation. Very prompt house visit and initial quote - more expensive than others, but seemed the most reliable. Work went ahead on the dates scheduled, and was completed in time. Installer and apprentice very respectful and tided-up at the end of every evening. They checked my thoughts before installation on positioning, plus completed the work to high standards - with particular care to alignment of pipes/clips etc - so the work looks fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

First time customer. I called PBS out for a combi boiler break down. They attended when stated and the fitter was very helpful, he knew exactly what was wrong almost immediately. The replacement part was obtained and fixed on the same day. They were also extremely fair with the pricing which was greatly appreciated. Good value, efficient and professional. I have my next boiler service booked in with PBS and would highly recommend.

We have used PBS's services to regularly service our heating system for several years. They have also helped with small leakage problems and fitted new kitchen taps for us. Most recently they replaced our errant boiler (cracked heat-exchanger). Without exception the engineers have been skilled, helpful and took great care, which we really appreciate.

I've waited 7 months before writing this review, partliy due to COVID and partly to allow time for any issues to surface. There have been no faults or issues with my new combination boiler since it was installed and the system is much better than the previous one. PBS were absolutely brilliant from their initial visit. Neil to came quote and assess the instalation the same morning after I called. He was very informative and discussed all the options clearly. As this was a combination boiler the pipework had to be upgraded from 15mm to 22mm as per the regulations. We chose that a new electrical supply should be installed as well, as the previous boiler was connected to a multiple mains socket. The quote arrived that after noon and I compared it to the British Gas quote. Not only did I get the manufacture of the boiler I wanted but the quote was considerably cheaper and PBS had noticed the additional pipework and electrical requirements. The quote was accpted that afternoon and payment was made via online banking. 36 hours later Steve (our installer) arrived and completed all the installation work by 3pm. There was a minimum of fuss and disturbance whilst this was happening and we were kept informed of the progress during the day. Once completed, Steve then cleared all the mess and took the old boiler away. I must say that the customer service and installation were of the highest standard and everyone helped to install the boiler as a matter of urgency. And all this just before the COVID lockdown. Would I use this company again: MOST Definitely Would I recommend them: MOST Definitely

We wish to thank you sincerely for the prompt response to our plea for help yesterday7 April which resulted in a visit today by Stewart. He quickly identified the problem and it was resolved and the system back in action within45 mins of his arrival. We have been customers of British Gas for many years and have a Home Care Service agreement with them. They blatantly advertise they look after vulnerable customers especially during Covid but our experience when the breakdown occurred was anything but, as after having to deal with a robot for 45 mins and being referred to Local Heroes who could not find anyone to help and did not even keep us in the picture as to developments we were left to seeking help elsewhere. Hence our call to you. All credit for your prompt action and it was refreshing to deal with someone who demonstrates good customer service. Regards and thanks Lionel

PBS have replaced the boiler in my rental property. The service has been very good. The responded to the request for a quote quickly and sent in 2 options combi and std boilers with multiple boiler options. They arrived on site and fitted as planned. My tenant is happy too. Thank you.

Actually couldn’t fault, polite phone service, both surveyor & engineer on time. Job completed in specified timeframe & left clean and tidy. It was also the cheapest quote I’d had. So, I’m happy to give 5* rating & would use this company again.

True professionals, I run a large team of Master Locksmiths and we do our best to respond asap to crisis situations with value for money prices and advice. PBS sent an engineer to my mums house (70+ years old, living on her own) no heating (oil fired) no hot water (mega flow system) PBS attended and fixed both systems 2 days before any of the 'nationals' could manage - and neither of the 'nationals' offered any assurance of megaflow repairs. Proper service, value for money and total honesty - my mum asked about replacing the boiler and was told 'no need - it's good bit of kit'. You have a great team and a good business model - well done to all. Customers often give negative feedback as they don't understand the legal obligations, they just want it fixed and don't appreciate there are 14 million different combinations/parts to solve the problem, and lots of the jigsaw parts are no longer made.

From the first call to the end of the job we experienced first class, swift, professional and polite service. From the people on the phone in their office to the two men who dealt with our issue our experience was highly positive. Our central heating had been making a loud banging noise for some time. We had another plumber out who charged £100 and the problem was as bad as ever. Half an hour after I phoned PB a plumber arrived, diagnosed the problem and, a couple of days later, as arranged, he returned and fixed it. He and his apprentice replaced the carpet and bedroom furniture perfectly. I would highly Peterborough Boilers.

Brilliant service. Rang Tuesday, Nigel came out on Wednesday morning to quote for a new boiler, a favourable quote came on Wednesday afternoon which was accepted. Tony arrived Thursday morning to dismantle the old boiler and fit the new one with new controls. Just a bit of finishing to do on Friday morning. He was smart, polite and cleaned up afterwards. Very efficient from beginning to end, from Jo on the phone, Nigel quoting and Tony installing.

In my opinion this outfit should be avoided like the plague. A so called engineer arrived but unfortunately I didn't get his name. It could be Bronco, Billy the kid or the Lone Ranger. The uniform should include a Stetson and spurs. Unnecessary work was done I contacted the manager, Sheriff Nigel and his social and customer service skills were that of a troglodyte. Any village looking for a village idiot should give him a call even though he will need training up to reach the required level of stupidity .Do not use this company

Excellent service - thoroughly recommend. Called them out for a service, a small repair was required. Part sourced and fitted within 48 hours of initial visit. Friendly and helpful staff in the office and engineer who attended v knowledgeable.
