Friendly and inviting staff. Haven't tasted a chicken wrap like this in a long time. Also had a sweet filo pastry type desert ( can't remember the exact name ) taste was outstanding. Will be back for more.

Having read brilliant reviews online, we decided to give it a go. We ordered fattoush salad, falafel wrap, shish tawouk and Kafta meshwi. The service was top notch and our server was very courteous. The food was good especially the shish tawouk which was very different to the shish that we usually have. The owner, (Abu Ali) asked how everything was and I mentioned how I thought the Kafta was a bit dry. It probably could have been from the fact that we had pre ordered the food. But he went out of the day to pack a Kafta kebab skewer to go home with. A true gentleman!

Been eager to try deerah for a while. Ordered chicken shawarma on hummus and daughter had the steak wrap. x2 7ups and came to just under £20. Service was polite and prompt, I thought the food coming out was a little slow considering it was only us and another couple. Food was fine, the steak wrap was somewhat bland and my side salad was very oily so I opted to leave it. Probably won't be back as I was underwhelmed, but nothing fundamentally bad.

I had ordered the chicken shawarma platter. The taste was really good but the major disappointment was the quantity. It's really not that filling when compared to the pricing. The ambience is pretty good.

Again beyond belief at how enjoyable the food is. Got batata hara, lamb kibbeh and Arabic shawarma mix wraps. The wrap was that good I ate half before I remembered to take a photo hahaha.

Some of the best Hummus you will ever have, amazing freshly baked bread too. There will be something for everyone on their menu, the falafels are also fantastic!

Excellent chefs and floor staff. Generous servings and authentic ingredients and flavours of Mediterranean/ Levantine cuisine. Perfect place to eat delicious, healthy food and relax with traditional music and dining room beautifully decorated.

Have eaten here twice - once was the shawarma wrap, the other the lamb shish with rice. Excellent food both times. Very friendly staff too. Also, they do a mean cup of coffee. I think this place will really take off once the new University of Ulster campus opens in autumn 2022 so get in before the rush.

Deerah serves great food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The freshly made hummus and flatbread are really good to share as a starter. Try the Arabic Sharwama wraps, Lebanese coffee and baklava. I fail to understand why anyone would choose to eat in one of the fast food chains in the city centre rather than the Deerah.

Absolutely lovely authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The bread was beautiful and fresh, the shawarma was delightful and the staff are a joy. Shukran!

The food here is tasty, but not great, and not authentically Lebanese, and the service was very slow. The shawarma is obviously not cooked on a shawarma spit, there was no sumac in the fatoush, and both the lahme ba'ajine and the kibbeh weren't quite right. On the flip side, the hummus is some of the best we've had outside Lebanon and the bread was amazing! Just a final note that it took around forty-five minutes for us to start getting our food, and we left forty-five minutes after that, still not having received our final dish. This place has a lot of potential, but needs to streamline their processes.

The best and most authentic Lebanese food in Northern Ireland! After living in Lebanon a few years ago, I continually dream about tawouk. Now I can finally eat the best tawouk, tastiest hummus and homemade pita in Belfast thanks to Deerah!

A lovely meal with a few of us prior to a gallery visit… wonderful to stumble upon Deerah, although curious it did not pop up in our searches beforehand. Food was tasty but not outstanding, we had Shawarma and Falafel, with some delicious vine leaves which were probably the most memorable to be honest. The staff were lovely and friendly, but it just felt like it needed a little more zest and personality, both in terms of the food and the interior. We enjoyed our time though and would certainly recommend.
