Food was excellent as always, had to wait ages before someone took our order , the person who was looking after the section we were sitting in didn't wasn't very good. As I said waited ages to order and had to ask staff from other sections for extra drinks and the bill

Team lead and FOH servers could use a bit more training in fire drill safety and overall customer service. Team lead was over heard saying she was unsure of what to do during the fire alarm and somewhat rude in her delivery of information the little that we received on the evening in question. A lot of the staff unsure what to do or tell customers when the incident happened. And didn't communicate with customers once we reached outside. Hard to differentiate between Team Leads, servers and black bands. The young woman tall, short spiked hair, fantastic make up (white line across nose) was a fantastic seater and server. Made sure we were okay and checked back on us during our meal. Very active on the floor compared to a lot of other FOH. A lot of staff but service was very slow. 5 people at the bar and drinks not being served within the recommended time frame set out in server handbook. Go easy on the sichimi on the chilli squid, it was too heavy handed and doesn't require that much. Dressing and pickles missing from Katsu, carrots for the mini noodler's dish were sopping wet and tasted very off (possibly sitting in water or cross contaminated with other vegetables in situ). It wasn't an overly busy service and yet dishes were left on the pass for a really long time, with many staff walking past the pass without running food, it wasn't busy enough to have set staff running for the evening so there were many opportunities to run food to tables.

It was fairly busy when we arrived, but we didn’t have to wait long; the staff were very friendly and after ordering the food arrived within about 15 minutes. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were quite large. I got the chicken ramen which was delicious and I also took advantage of the lovely complimentary green tea. I’m no expert on Asian cuisine but it was a great experience and I would recommend

It’s rare I give low ratings like this but the main reasons are: They were out of stock of the seitan vegan katsu curry which is really the only reason I wanted to go. They were out of stock on a couple of other starts too. We ended up just getting the normal katsu curry which was ok, a very large portion! We make their recipe at home and it seemed different. The salad and it’s dressing was amazing though! The bao buns were amazing and came very quickly. When it came to dessert, it was very limited. We ate around 5:30pm and had already sold their last brownie just as I had asked for it. The ice cream was also artificial vanilla *flavour* not real vanilla (little black dots) which I think for a place like Wagamama’s could be a bit more fussy on real ingredients. The chocolate cake wasn’t great though, not very strongly flavoured. The staff member who served us though was lovely!

Nice set up for social distancing. The place was quite busy when we got there but the food came quickly and all dishes were delicious. Wagamama is not the best Asian restaurant in town but would definitely recommend it if you're around !

The service wasn't the best at this wagamama although one of the girls who took us to our seat gave me some of her favourite options as she was a vegan too which was nice. Myself and my dinner partner both ordered a gin and tonic and was only given the gin although it specified it came with tonic of our choice and there wasn't an option to purchase a tonic on it's own. The food was lovely. Its a shame there's not as many vegan options as other wagamama I've been to.

Laid back atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty. It's served as it's made rather than trying to keep it warm while other dishes are prepared. Definitely recommend visiting here. Waiter got part of my order wrong and brought the wrong dish. He let us keep the wrong dish and brought the correct one but charged us for both.

First time at Wagamas and won't be the last. The Katsu curry came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The Korean BBQ beef bao buns , chilli squid and bang bang prawns were all delicious as well. Main courses were very well priced, and sharing sides between the table kept us well satiated without breaking the bank. 4 mains, 3 sides, 3 soft drinks + water for £20 per person.

Adore, adore, adore this place! The Korean bao buns are to die for - alongside the duck donburi. Only fault is that the seating can be a bit uncomfortable at times with the table often feeling a little crammed, but it's not bad enough to make it a bad experience in any way.

I have tried Wagamama in Amsterdam and Victoria park Belfast quite a few times. Service has always been friendly and helpful. Food is always so tasty. Ideal for lunch with a toddler. Healthy simple kids meal options, high chairs, crayons and stuff for kids and special 'kids chopsticks'. Clean bathrooms including change table inside the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. It's a chain restaurant but was perfect for us and catering to kids.

It was very good to have Ramen noodles and the wagamama specials contains pretty much everything in it. We also had the chicken ramen and teriyaki chicken and it was great too. If you're looking for spicy food then you may have to add the seasoning. Definitely recommended.

I love the long tables in Wagamama. I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you need to remember that it's part of the experience! The Japanese are polite and friendly. It is the atmosphere of a local, bustling and hustling ramen shop that they are trying to create. The food is amazing. The staff are super nice and I always remember to tip them as their service is really notable.

After hearing so much about this place I am actually disappointed. Had the Chicken Ramen here and it was so bland and way over priced for what it was. Basically egg noodles and bland chicken stock with flavourless cooked chicken. I wanted this place to have tasty Ramen but I regretted getting it. No way is it worth £9 for that blandness.

I'd like to thank the staff for their amazing service! I was just taking the first sips of my drink while waiting for my food to arrive when I suddenly realised I had to catch a bus in 15 minutes. The waiter who was serving me (who I unfortunately didn't get the name of) was really understanding and helpful and made sure that I got my food to go a quickly as possible while I necked my beer, payed my bill, collected my food and ran off into the warm Belfast night! 10/10 would attempt to eat at Wagamuma, Victoria Square again!

Me and my partner went for an evening meal today. I've a food intolerance and manager went out of his way to explain menu and recommend me what food is suitable. Where as i normally would give them 5 stars as the franchise overall is great and i find they have a very good menu. Today, 22/11/19, was a bit of a poor show. I ordered the chilly steak ramen. The steak was cut with the grain making it barely chewable and i had to ask for a knife to chop it up. Still struggled as i got handed a safety knife. There was no toilet paper in one of the stalls either. The servers showed little interest in serving the customer or remedying either problem, nor did they bother to ask at the end if everything was alright. A great menu but poor show from the staff. The restaurant was pretty empty so they were not busy.

Quick, good food as always. Even when the world is shutting down with what's going on, wagamama has the doors open for food. Great of travelers out here with no ways to cook. Server and staff was every polite and friendly, and made dinner a real treat for 1 person alone. Ni, went above and beyond for server there.

Came to Wagamama for lunch today and loved it. The service is really fast and the staff are always friendly. I have only been to this resteraunt a handful of times but I will definitely be back again, especially as my daughter likes trying different thi vs on the menu. I had the pork belly ramen which I was initially dubious about but it came out great. I'm really not sure if I was eating it right but no one cared. The rest of the family had teriyaki chicken and neef with rice, which I had to stop myself from stealing. The only down side I would say is that in the times that I have been here the menu has not changed, not that I am complaining but a bit of variety might be nice, even between lunch and dinner. That said there is still s load of other dishes on the menu I am yet to try and look forward to doing so. The seating is a feature of the place, you sit at long tables on a bench which at busy times you would imagine would be awkward with strangers sitting beside you, but even me as a socially awkward penguin had no issues. All in all I love coming here for a treat and will be back again

Probably our most favourite and visited restaurant in Belfast. Staff are helping food is great. But I have to say this time it was a little burnt and I'm not just talking about my meal but 3 meals. That's all of us that went. Not sure what happened. It can be a busy place so be ready for a wait at busy times 5 to 7 pm. Etc. I love the food here.

The staff here are so lovely and friendly, always open to explaining anything on the menu and giving their own recommendations. The long benches encourage an open and lively atmosphere. As for the food it is truly divine, I am huge ramen fan and Wagamama does not fail on flavour and options. Truly their ramen is a hug in a bowl.

Ordered Wagamaga ramen and a tropical juice. Very nice! Ramen was very tasteful and plenty of meat and seafood. I would only say 2 things that could be improved: a) Got a big wooden spoon instead of the typical Asian spoon. I think that's more for serving rather than eating with that. b) Tiger prawns were unpeeled. I think this is a bit lazy from the restaurant. I don't think I'm supposed to dig my fingers into the soup and peel them. Overall, I was happy with the food and will definitely come back again!

Really unique experience for a delicious oriental bite. Friendly staff and good waiting times. Can be very busy but normally there is enough seating available. It's laid out like a giant canteen with rows of benches and tables, so some people may find that uncomfortable but it is definitely worth trying!

Good Asian food in the Victoria centre. Bench seating and informal atmosphere combine with a wide asian/noodle bar menu. Service is ok rather than great from a young and not overly enthusiastic group of waiters/waitresses. Food comes as it is prepared which can mean getting a main before all the starters have arrived. Prices are not bad for the location.

Very friendly staff, but have been to a number of other branches of the chain, which I think are more flavourful. Myself and my sister both ordered Yasi Itame and it was nice but lacked flavour, it was as if 1 lot of paste had been divided between both soups and it tasted quite insipid. Would try it again, but would definitely order something to my sister again to try and avoid this.

Yay for vegan options! was craving bibimbop which we couldn't find in Belfast that night, so we went here. The food was amazing, so glad we went. Communal tables, bright and bustling atmosphere, big portions of hot ramen.

Food was excellent and service for main food was good although even though you order starters and mains they come as and when. After that waiting on dessert and extra drinks was quite slow. But overall a good experience 😀

First ever experience of this chain came in Leeds years ago and prayed for many nights that Wagamama would come to Belfast. Absolutely adored the ramen bowls. When it did come, the novelty soon wore off and I realised I should have had better prayer-orities. The concept of canteen style benches and no real frills within should allow for a less expensive product, while the food genre should call for much more flavour. Would still go for ramen if I'm in, but with a beer, say £19 and add a starter such as the dumplings, £24. At lunch time that's just not on. No real offers I'm aware of at lunch. That would be my main gripe, as if the ramen was £6/£7 I'd go much more regularly.

The first Japanese restaurant I visited after a year in Japan myself. I went for the yakisoba, with a side of miso soup and pickled vegetables. The yakisoba was very tasty and filling, tasted fresh with good quality noodles. The ingredients seemed pretty authentic, and I loved the texture from the crumbs sprinkled on top. The pickled vegetables were good too. It was disappointing then when I finished with the miso soup. The broth was so weak it was practically plain hot water - surprising from such an elementary dish. Just avoid the soup.

I ordered the duck and it was.tasty until (I know duck is fatty) but 2 large lumps of pure fat was amongst my dish as well as a few veins which totally put me of. Whilst to toilet 🚽 was.clean it appeared no one had been into clear up loo roll people used to.clean their hands hence me trailing it on my heels 👠 back into the restaurant. I wouldn't go back

Ignore the out of date reviews on here, this is the best Wagamama we've been to, hands down. Authentic Japanese chefs, huge portions and superb, friendly and chatty staff. The best chicken itame I've ever eaten anywhere.

If you like udons, my husband got yaki udon ... flavorful ... with shrimp, chicken, vegetables, egg ... Very positive note: the waiter as soon as we entered asked us if we had allergies or intolerances ... so I think they are also very careful in advising you and telling you what you can or cannot eat according to your dietary needs! (Original) Ci siamo fermati ieri sera per l'ultima cena a Belfast!!!! Un'ottima conclusione! I piatti che abbiamo preso erano veramente buoni e abbondanti!
