*****4 rating is for the company's ice cream taste and not for the outlet. To be honest, the outlet and management deserve 1 rating.****** If you're are a tidy person and looking for a 100% customer-focused place, then this ice-cream parlour is not for you. When I visited yesterday, the company franchise outlet was opened for taking out only due to an ongoing refurbishment. The outlet wasn't ready for serving however, considering the weekend business, the management just opened it without any preparations. Comparatively, with the number of customers, the outlet had only 1 member of staff available and that looks tired as well. Apart from this, their ice-creams was great and I do recommend their pistachio almond as the flavour contains less sugar and fits most of the taste buds as well. So, yes if you are visiting for the first time, must try their 'Pistachio Almond' ice cream and shakes. PS:- If you are visiting for the first time and not an ice cream lover, please do not order more than one scoop as their 1 scoop is way too bigger than a normal scoop. Otherwise, you'll end up with an ice-cream dinner 😂

Been wanting to visit for ages and finally got the chance. I ordered a cookie layered sundae and cookie stack shake, both tasted gorgeous. The staff were very nice and friendly as well, can't wait to visit again.

Great dessert place to visit. A fantastic range of good quality ice cream. Plenty of choices and ideal location with plenty going on. Would recommend people to try this place out and experience the dessert qualities they have in stock. Staff are also helpful and pin point to a specific taste that you are looking for, because when it comes to a dessert with all the variety it can be hard to choose what to have but the staff are great at handling a specific taste you want. Chocolate brownies is a standout for me.

Had an evening dessert with the kids. Ice cream is really fine quality and the flavours intense. Good size scoops too. Kids went for the double scoops with toppings and I had the peanut butter stack to share. Really scrummy and indulgent which tasted like a luxurious Snickers bar...super yum. The place is spacious yet cozy and family friendly as you'd expect from Basking Robbins. Really happy that we have one local to us. Staff were brilliant and wanted to make sure everything was okay without being overbearing. Definitely recommend and will be back soon.

The girl was not friendly she seemed the typical moody Asian girl, who lacks customer service skills. I said "hi" and she just stared at me. I proceeded to ask her can we sit there and she replied yes. We chose our desserts and to add to my disappointment no cheese cake and no coconut ice cream for my wife. My children enjoyed their deserts and the guy who served was was friendly and gave a good service. I purchased the American birthday cake to take out for my niece and she loved it. I will be going back to check out the cheese cake as I LOVE cheesecake.

Love this place have been going since they opened have seen lots of staff come & go. Went on bank holiday was served by Aiden fantastic customer service, polite friendly and calm especially when it was so busy. Did however notice the manager telling young children off for not sitting down, he also kept saying to every customer "will be with you shortly" and then pushed the other two workers forward whilst he continued to watch customers and faff about at the back. If u go ask to be served by Aiden he is just great

Red velvet milkshake was ok maybe 6 out of 10 and the sundae was really good actually and the service was really great despite them being so busy and the tall pakistani kid was really good! And so was the hijabi girl despite being so tired i could tell! Bless them! I hope they give these kids a pay rise for keeping in such high spirites and to make sure everything is clean too. Id just come back for the service more than anything and their recommendations for what to have was very good too. Deffo a place to go to for different type of desserts!

Best ice cream in Birmingham, just rubbish opening times so it's a rare treat...google says opens at 4pm but deliveroo is 5pm so too late before work is done to grab some ice cream. I wouldn't go anywhere else because nowhere is as good but this part-time business approach sucks

Loved the range of ice creams! I had the America's birthday cake and cotton candy ice cream also got the chocolate fondant overall good prices. Service slightly delayed as it was a Saturday night and there was alot of staff which was confusing. But the twins working there were very pleasant. Will definitely be coming again.

I was a bit dubious about visiting the new Baskin Robins on Ladypool Rd, after reading the mix reviews it had. But I must admit I’m very pleased I checked it out myself. The dessert were to die for, absolutely scrumptious, exactly what I asked for the hot cookie with ice cream was lovely. The service was good, my order was taken by warm and friendly staff member. My order was brought to me correctly and together no problem. Whatever teething problems they had at the beginning seemed to have been sorted out. I would definitely recommend a visit good food, fun and friendly atmosphere fair prices some where nice to bring friends and family for a well deserved treat.

A perfect desert shop. I love how they located an American based desert shop in Birmingham! Crazy. Also the prices are really good considering the location and the shops around it. Flavours of the ice cream are actually really flavoursome and not cheap at all.

Staff are exceptional and look after you very well, especially Sohaiba for taking care of me and my family. Great service, The staff were friendly and very helpful in us deciding what to get. The deserts here are also absolutely stunning visually and the taste was also superb. The waiting time and actually receiving your is also not that long at all compared to heavenly deserts where it can take more than an hour to actually get your food. It is located literally a 2 minute walk from heavenlys too. This deserts parlour is our first choice now when dining out for a desert. really really impressed and the shop it's self also looks amazing !! Cannot recommend it enough!

I usually don't write reviews but today I needed to because I genuinely enjoyed my experience at Baskin Robbins. I went with my sister and brother here to try out the desserts based on recommendations and because it was a fairly new location on the radar. The place looks absolutely nice and I cannot fault it in way. After browsing the menu at a glance one thing I immediately recognised was that the pricing strategy for the products were reasonable and you haven't heard it all yet... The staff members were very polite and friendly. Always attentive; making sure if everything was okay. We were served by Umaryr - his hospitality was beyond substantial, ensuring our likes and needs were met. Overall great customer service from all staff. Moving onto the desserts. Famously known for there ice cream; lots of colorful and different flavored ice creams with fanciful names. I love desserts and I must say these desserts were delicious and the presentation was amazing. My siblings also enjoyed the desserts and they were satisfied with the service we received. I would happily give this place a 10/10. Take my word for it guys it's worth it.
