Absolutely brilliant meal from start to finish. Owners are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, kind. Celiac restrictions not a problem nor vegetarians. Presentation and quality of the food is of the highest standard. Real works of art! Highly recommend this fantastic place to dine whether lunch or dinner. Keep in mind closed Mondays and check their website for exact opening hours or call.

I haven't been in such a nice restaurant in a long time. Personnel, quality of food, presentation and the flavors stand out in such an amazing beautiful way.

What a lovely restaurant!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was outstanding, from bringing complimentary bread and oil, to topping up people's drinks, to making sure everyone was happy. Such a lovely atmosphere!
The food was really tasty and very well presented, we really enjoyed all our courses. We will definitely be returning.

An old-fashioned restaurant in the very best way! The food was beautifully cooked and presented and the service excellent. We felt welcome and that our custom was valued.
We went for Sunday lunch and the whitebait was delicious followed by roast pork. My companion had the beef.

First time here as went out for lunch on spur of moment.
Lovely and very friendly restaurant where the owners made you feel very welcome. We both had the 3 course lunch(on a offer)which was both beautifully presented and hot.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. A lovely family run business which has the best food. Tried a few different meals on the menu and could not pick a favourite. Everything is outstanding .

Every thing about this restaurant was delightful! From the lovely lady who took my booking call through to the fond wave goodbye. When we arrived our baby was sleeping in the car so they thoughtfully set up a table right next to our car; complete with white linen clothes and silverware . Anyone who knows what it’s like going for a meal with a little one can image how good it felt to sit in the sun and enjoy a tasty starter in peace! When kiddo woke up a high chair appeared and a freshly cooked meal for her too. The food was excellent and the price for a set menu lunch was very good value. We will be back for sure! They made our day!

After a day out at Southerndown walking the clifftops and enjoying the sea air, this was the perfect end to a beautiful day. We had the warmest welcome upon arrival by the lady at front of house, she couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We both had a three course meal and it was very reasonably priced. More importantly, the food was delicious, excellently cooked with fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be visiting this quirky little restaurant again!
