Went with my partner last weekend for the first time for the Hello Kitty theme. Beautifully decorated, with lovely, kind staff. We were able to finish a main and dessert along with our drinks...we couldn't resist! Mains were a decent portion, I have quite an appetite and I would have been satisfied with that alone, but wanted to try the honeycomb ice cream! Our food did take a while to arrive and we were cutting it close to the hour limit, but that's to be expected as it was a busy Saturday, and every meal is presented so perfectly...it must take a while to get right. We weren't rushed out though, so it was all ok in the end. Would have given five stars if not for the waiting time, and would give 4.5 if I could. Eager to come again and try different dishes!

I have visited Artbox Cafe twice now and enjoyed it both times. Staff are lovely and attentive, the Cafe itself is super cute with cute photo opportunities. The food is unique and I love how they design it around the current theme. I feel the menu is very well priced for the portions you get! Will definitely visit a third time.

Today was my second time visiting the cafe. The first time with my best friends and second time with my mother! Todays visit was as just a wonderful experience as the first! The cutest cafe set up and the gift shop is incredible. The staff are wonderful and so incredibly bubbly! They explain everything to you and I did not feel rushed at all within my hour slot. I highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The waitress that served me was ever so lovely! She complimented my makeup too. The food & drink is so adorable - you’ll want to take lots of photos - and tasty! Definitely worth the price. I’m planning to take my brother here for his birthday! Visited last month. Such a cute cafe, loved all of the decor and the shop downstairs was full of cute merchandise! You are allocated an hour slot for eating but thats plenty of time - was able to have a hot drink, main and dessert. I had the Chimmy corn soup which was amazing and kinda tasted like Doritos and the Cookie waffle which was also amazing but verrry filling! Will definitely be back again!

Wonderful experience, I went to Brithton to go to this café because I love bt21 and I can tell that all the food is really well made and so lovely. It's really an aesthetic place from the outside to the inside. If you want there is also a little shoop where you can buy official line and bt21 goods. Super suggested. You have to book on the internet site.

A few weekends ago I visited Artbox for an early birthday trip, and though I got absolutely soaked from the stormy weather in Brighton, the warm hospitality and food made up for it! I'm sad the BT21 theme will be ending but I'm glad I came in the nick of time to get my fix. If I come down the Brighton again, I definitely want to experiment with the milkshake combos - so many Ice creams to choose from! I had Matcha and Honeycomb, very delicious 🍦 Also, if you have mobility needs like myself, I advise booking the ground floor, however the toilets are located upstairs.

We went this weekend (BT21 theme) and I loved it! We originally booked for 3 pm, but because of traffic on the way from London as well as in Brighton and extreme difficulty in finding parking, we were late. The staff was really accommodating and suggested we rebook for another slot later in the day so we could have the full experience. I was very happy we decided to do that. Really cute decor and really cute and tasty food in the cafe on the first floor. The shop on the ground floor is small but stocks interesting merch! I would definitely go back.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. The decor, the very friendly and sweet staff, the amazing food and desserts which looks exactly like the pictures in the menu, the attention to detail over every. single. thing. to make sure it is a memorable and a great experience. Just being at artbox makes me so happy and I love going there all the time. Also, check out their mango sorbet because it is SO delicious! It's creamy, not too icy, not too sweet and just perfect for a hot summer day! I've got the fully customised sundae, special black forest hot chocolate WITH vegan marshmallows(which were soo good btw), mang pudding, latte, tomato mozzarella basil sandwich with crisps and mango waffle! I've been to the gudetama and the bt21 themes and I've absolutely loved it! The mango waffle came with mango sorbet and mango popping pearls! They also give you a coaster to take with you if you order any hot/cold drink! I have also taken everything put on my dishes for presentation home with me. In love with this cafe always hope everyone enjoys it like i do! :) <3

Lovely little shop in a great location, the staff are so friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy their work. I haven't tried the upstairs cafe yet but will be in a month's time. The BT21 merch was amazing, so much variety. Bubble tea was delicious as was the ice cream which came with a line friends wafer. The lady serving let us try the flavour first before committing to a whole scoop. We sat outside with our ice-cream as they have small designated seating area to enjoy the sun. Looking forward to visiting again!

Such a cute place but unfortunately you need to book a reservation to sit down and eat on the upstairs restaurant :-( was only able to sit outside to have some ice cream but it was actually good. Hopefully next time I’ll be able to have some food because it looked delicious when they were bringing the food to the table of other customers.

Underwhelming honestly! Hate to say that as a big artbox fan. Icecream tasted very cheap: the toffee flavour had lots of icey chunks & the vanilla was that white vanilla stuff. Caramel sauce was thin & reminded me of the sugar free caramel syrup you can get in coffee. Also the sundae was covered in these sugar sprinkles/beads that looked adorable but tasted quite nasty in combination with the icecream. Shame because the presentation is top notch - clean & bright, the music isn't too loud, staff were all lovely, adorable decor and food. But yeah I expected more. Shop downstairs was cute & had some nice (if not expensive) merch.

We had an hour slot and that's supposed to be enough time to have a main and dessert but because the staff was so slow we didn't get a dessert. I've been to the café 3 times with each visit was different themes and I absolutely love the place. Very cute decor and friendly staff. I would visit more often if I live closer, nevertheless always make an effort to go to the café on my days off. Food and drink items are a little on the expensive side, but understandable with the large portions and the amount of work to present the food/drinks.

Fantastic experience , friendly , fabulous food pre-booked a table, pricing was very reasonable the attention to details both in the shop and with the foods were perfect every little detail from the place mats to the hello kitty shaped carrots. The restaurant was up stairs and the little shop was as you entered. Such a cute shop! The boutique was very nice and the staff was really friendly. We just had ice cream, which is on the first floor right when you walk in. The sit down area has limited space so you need to wait when you go in. I love Pusheen so much and the store had so many details, which was awesome.

This is definitely an experience cafe, so keep that in mind when looking for a place to eat. That being said, I loved every minute of being here. I love Gudetama and getting to spend my birthday surrounded by the little egg made me so happy. Food and drinks we ordered were good! It's definitely more suited to serving deserts, but the savory dishes aren't bad at all. I also really appreciate how accommodating the menu is for vegan/gluten free options. Can't forget to mention the wonderful, friendly staff. I really had a wonderful experience!

I am absolutely obsessed with Gudetama and loved every second of my time at this cafe. The artbox cafe is officially licensed by Sanrio so all the character themes they use is properly done and the whole cafe gets decorated accordingly. As mentioned it is currently Gudetama and as you enter the cafe there is a mini-shop like layout with clothes, mugs and other merchandise. There is also an ice cream counter there for those who want a themed ice-cream / hot drink. Upstairs is where the theme goes into full force with everything because Gudetama centres, from the paint colours, to the wall decals, to the napkin holder...you name it. I would recommend booking in advance if more than 2 people as there aren’t a lot of tables at the moment due to the distancing rules. They also enforce a face mask policy too. Once booking the cost of the deposit also gets deducted from the bill, which is £5 per person for the deposit. Overall we spent £38 for 2 mocktails, two meals and one dessert. Which is definitely a tad pricey but it’s for the experience rather than the food. However with that said I really liked both the sandwich I had as well as the tofu cheesecake dessert which was incredible!!! They also have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options as we well as a couple gluten-free options too, Overall for experience it’s getting a 10 and for service it is also getting a 10 because of how friendly all the waitresses were, 10/10 🍳👌🏼

This place is super accessible for such an adorable cafe! However there is no disabled toilet. This is because the building is very small but there is a pub over the road that has a good disabled toilet! Please go and visit, my friends work there and they all work so hard! There is seating downstairs for people with mobility issues or large power chairs. The food is super good and the ice cream is excellent. This place is super great for large groups as well ♡ (There is a very small Ridge up to the inside of the shop and cafe. But please don't let that stop you if you need a hand the staff will help you! If you are a group with accessibility needs, please book in advance to use the downstairs table!)

Went on the 1st Day, The whole building is decorated perfectly. Super cute. The Menu is cute, food was good, drinks were lovely. The shop is tiny. Could barely move around. Once sat down, Service was very polite / apologetic but very unorganised! Waited 20 mins for our sundaes. Somehow confused everyone's order and ended up shouting over everyone each order and you put your hands up. Another 15 for our drinks that were supposed to come with a cute collectable coaster, my friend got one but i didnt, i was dissapointed, asked if i could have one and was told I'd get it straight away, they forgot. We finished and waited 10 mins to pay. Service needs improving 100%. But didn't put too much of a dampner on our time spent here.

Following the vein of Japanese pop up character cafés, London based kawaii shop Artbox launches their first café based on Pusheen. The venue stands out and is spread across two floors, the ground floor being part shop, ice cream take out parlour and coffee shop. The first floor is the café itself. As it is still in it’s early days, the shop gets extremely crowded and cramped and we came in at 12:30 to go the café. Unfortunately it’s kind of a first come first serve basis and they took our names and gave us a set time to come back a few hours later. They don’t take bookings, you have to come on the day. The shop: a cute array of Pusheen plush toys, kitchenware, pick ups and clothing. There is also an exclusive pin badge that can only be purchased here which was sold out at the time of our visit, there is also an array of USA exclusive merch that can only be bought here. The café: the first floor is gloriously cute and quiet and the café staff are so polite and helpful, the menu offers a selection of ice cream sundae and waffles in gluten free and vegan options. all gloriously kitted our in Pusheen cut outs and actually really tasty! Affordable also! If I had any feedback I guess would be to suss out the booking method and maybe have visitors wait outside and be called in as it gets so busy and you end up awkwardly squashing yourself against something whilst there are shoppers also trying to come through. But as I said it’s early days and I’m sure they will work out a way to streamline this. The pop up café is only for a limited time as they will change the theme every so often. Even if you might not be a fan of Pusheen, you wouldn’t be here otherwise I recommend coming a little early!

I had a good experience at artbox cafe and went during the bt21 theme but I would like them to change themes again as they previously decorated it to pusheen or guedtama before. Otherwise I don't have much interest to travel for the same cafe theme.

My visit here was the happiest day of my life! As a huge pusheen fan I had to see it, both boutique and cafe were fantastic, I've rarely come across nicer customer service, the staff was super friendly and the Atmosphere was so soft and adorable! My eldest son loves Pusheen so as soon as we found out about this cafe we had to visit. The weather was bad on the day we visited but there was no issue with getting a table booked. Good choice of sundaes and waffles available, slightly expensive but it's the only place to get these so worth it. Food was very good and my sons both loved the experience. The shop downstairs is quite small but well stocked and they chose a Pusheen plush each. The prices are about the same as what they go for on Amazon but there were also some special items only available at this shop. If you love Pusheen then you have to visit here before it changes to the next theme.

I visited this place last time I was in Brighton, a couple of years ago, and It was Pusheen themed. We couldn't sit down cause we went a bit late, but it looked so cute, like a themed Japanese café, and the ice-cream we ordered to take away was so delicious, I wanted to come back. When I knew I was visiting Brighton, I checked this place and Saw they had BT21 theme so I couldn't resist and I booked a table! It was quiet when we visited but I recommend booking a table to avoid disappointments. The place is adorable and looks really beautiful. But if you come for the looks, you'll stay for the food! Milkshake was super tasty and refreshing and the waffle was to die for! Soft, fluffly, so much chocolate! Loved it!!! Staff was super lovely as well. Lovely place!!

We came from London to Art box cafe. My daughter loves all things Kawaii. We booked online and you wait in a separate queue until your time slot. The cafe was decorated with the Line friends theme which was very cute. The food was lovely, it was great that they had a vegan option for everything. The staff were really friendly and even came to tell us that we could go downstairs to the shop as there was space for us.Will definitely go back, my daughter absolutely loved the whole experience.

The place downstairs is super cute, a lot of memorabilia (many not on Amazon!), the coffee was alright, the prices were decent (memorabilia is Amazon priced). Please book a table in advance if you want to eat in. So many people flock to this cute cafe that they run out of tables so make sure you book a table online to avoid disappointment. I didn't have the opportunity to dine in but I did get to browse the merchandise downstairs. They have so many different characters and items to choose from. Also, the steps they have taken to make everyone feel safe under the current circumstances (hand sanitizer everywhere, suitable spacing between tables etc). The drinks and food were lovely when they did arrive, the décor is wonderful as always. We went for the BT21 stuff (and Rilakkuma when they finally do that). Now for the not so good. Although at the table it states that everyone has 60mins to enjoy everything, and both my friend and myself understood that it's tough for everyone right now, but by the time we were sat down and had our order taken, we only had 40 mins. It got to a point where I had to cancel what I had ordered because we were running out of time, and when the food finally arrived for my friend, she had 15 mins to wolf down her meal and dessert. We went back into the boutique for merch, and the only thing I bought was a limited edition pin, that was NOT a display, but as you can see on the photo provided the pin is badly damaged (no mouth, overlapping colour and a literal hole in the bow tie not to mention some other defects). I only realised by the time I got home and not what I expected for £8. I will definitely come again, especially when they have a Rilakkuma month and some other characters, and as stated the staff were lovely and did what they could, but today was a deflating experience.

This has got to be the cutest cafe in town! Artbox x pusheen is a great place to visit if you love hot chocolate, ice cream and waffles and of course, Pusheen! The location changes its theme regularly so it never gets boring. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the waffles are to die for and the merchandise is adorable. There's a table waiting list so if you want to visit and get some of those delicious waffles, go down there and put your name down for a table because it gets busy super fast! They don't take bookings over the phone so make sure you get there early! The one thing I found a bit annoying was the small space, you can barely fit a buggy in there and if you want to sit down upstairs, you can't get it up. The staff were nice and allowed me to park it downstairs but if I was to meet another fellow mum with buggy there, it would be a bit difficult. Other than that, I can't really fault it and would definitely recommend you go see it!
