I went into AL SHAM today as my son was treating me to a box of delicious cakes and baklava. This is my favouite shop. Its a beautiful shop, candelabras on the ceiling, beautiful display cabinets, so clean and the cakes are set out so beautifully. I asked the owner to fill a box with as many delicious treats as he could. I am delighted with my Christmas treat. Happy Christmas and a happy new year to all the talented staff in the shop from Caroline

I had never properly tried Syrian/Lebanese treats before. Me and my friends decided to try eating here and I am so glad that we did! The baklawa was amazing and I really enjoyed the range of desserts! Genuinely think I've found my new favourite sweet. 10/10 will definitely be coming here again

Finally walked in, always going next door but today gave these guys a try. I'm glad I did as I loved it. Bought a tray of baklavas, kunafa and a milk pot of something that tasted awesome. Definitely will be going more often. Chap in there who served me was very welcoming and even gave a sample taste of their baklava.

The best kunefe in Cardiff, hands down. I was struggling to find somewhere I could get some but now that I've found this place I can get kunefe by the kilo. It's prices are good too. I got two huge slices for £7. Workers are really friendly too. Be sure to take advantage of their free samples if you are overwhelmed by the choices. You may find a new favorite dessert here!

Very affordable place for dessert. The sweets are by the kilo so you can make your own platter. It's a smorgasbord of Arabic desserts: baklava, sweet cheese-based pastries and Arabic ice cream.

WOW!! Not just sweets but a taste of eastern bites. Some are flakey and just melt, especially for those choco lovers. Great for something different instead of a box of chocs. Ice cream to . Didn't try it yet but deffo will.
