Absolutely the best! The small minced beef and onion pies are so good when fresh from the oven, really nice peppery beef flavour and the custard slices are the greatest things on earth (my kids being miles behind in second place) the nicest people work there to. If anyone is visiting Cardiff, forget the stadium, forget the castle, just try this place first, you won't be disappointed.

I've been going to Clark's pies for more than thirty years and the original pie still tastes like heaven. Tip: always take plenty of knapkins with you as they're so delicious you have to eat them straight away in the car on the way back home.

The legend that is Clark's is alive and well and living in Grangetown (so not a legend then, eh?). I believe there was some falling out in the family and there was a split between the Grange and Canton shops, so I'm not sure about the recipe for the pie, but the one in Bromsgrove St says it's the "original", so who am I to argue? Still tastes great though!

When I think Cardiff I think Clarkie Pies. Still a great pie despite a recent change in recipe. I still prefer the original pies but the new version is still top quality. LONG LIVE CLARKIES.....

Reminds me of an old traditional British shop so nice to still see shops like this. lovely pies, friendly ladies that work there definitely worth a visit.
