M. L.Truly wonderful desserts. From silky milkshakes to crofles (croissant waffles). Presentation is beautiful in most cases. Sorbet and crepes are delicious. Mini donuts that are hot with Nutella filling. Premises are brightly lit and comfortable if a bit loud (lots of reflective surfaces). Service was efficient if not overly friendly.
Z. S.Had my first experience here tonight, absolutely loved it... firstly, it was clean and well laid out. The staff were awesome, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable... and omg our waitress was so busy, they were both working so hard but always smiling. The food and drinks were both so good. Looked amazing but also tasted amazing... we shared everything so tried 4 different things and all were great, maybe the doughnuts were my least fav but still nice... the Salted Caramel dip was amazing. Shall put pics of what we had. Worth a visit... seriously something for every sweet toothed person. Yum. Shall be back.
Edit: Been back again. And completely different staff but they were all again so hard working and very friendly. One lady was especially lovely but sadly can't remember her name. We visited Friday 5.30pm ish. Food again was amazing. Took a friend that hadn't been before who also loved it. ❤️

I tried there desserts and honestly it was by far the best dessert shop I’ve ever been in. I 100% recommended to all friends and families. My and my friends are literally obsessed with it now!!
J. O.We had a fantastic time in Heavenly Desserts the other day. This was our first visit with my daughter. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite and they made sure everyone was getting a great experience. A little thing such as trying a bit of ice cream means a world to a child! We had a decaff cappuccino with soya milk, a tiramisu dessert with nougat ice cream (amazing flavour!), strawberry cheesecake and strawberry tart, both served with a scoop of ice cream (oreo and strawberries&cream). The look and the taste of these creations were divine, no wonder they are called 'heavenly'! We'll be back when our friends visit to share a slice/a piece of heaven! 10 out of 10!

Visited today as a group of 6, which included 2 people with serious allergies (nuts and coeliac). They went above and beyond our expectations.
They gave us the regular menus, as well as those catering for gluten free, and the allergens list for all the products used. There was a wide range of desserts to choose from in both menus, as well as the option to create your own dish.
The waiter was absolutely superb; attentive, very helpful, and extremely thorough when taking our orders.
The kitchen staff made sure they were changing gloves and preparation areas and utensils between each dessert to ensure no cross-contamimation occurred.
Really lovely decor inside, and reasonably priced.
Will definitely be visiting here again.

I went there with my friends for a sweet afternoon and we've been surprised by the delicious food, atmosphere, friendly staff. Vasi was the one who served us, he is been prompt, polite and recommended us the best option. Moreover, the price for food quality is definitely worth it and we will be back for sure soon enough! K. P.Food at the restaurant is always great. However, I have gotten delivery from here a few times now and it has always been disappointing. The food itself has been okay on delivery but I have ordered milkshakes and a lychee latte previously which both just tasted of milk when it arrived in the expected time, absolutely horrible, (I have ordered both of these before in person which were much more flavourful and delicious so I know what it's meant to taste like). Also given no straws for them, I understand no cutlery as it is expected to have that in a home, but not everyone has a straw for a half whipped cream very milky milkshake. I dont recommend ordering delivery from here but in person has always been nice.

M. A.I'm not a huge fan of deserts, but I have to give a shout out to Heavenly Desserts for doing a great job pleasing my tastes. Colchester is a beautiful town and have great places to visit and this place should be on your list if you ever visit the town as is probably an exception place to take a break and relax while enjoying something you will definitely remember. They have a variety of cakes and the place itself is lovely with a friendly and warm staff. They gave me a pleased experience when I went to their store and I don't have to say the desserts are amazing from the aspect to the taste. I'm not a fan of doing reviews as well, but when something really deserves one I will give it. I would also like to thank Vasy Alex (sorry if I spelled it wrong) for helping me choose what to try and for being so helpful and friendly overall. I will definitely recommend this place further to my friends and to anyone who would love to try something sweet.

H. P.I’m not sure about this place. We have ordered a few times from here but are you sure the vegan options are vegan? One of the new menu items on the vegan menu has meringue. That’s made from egg?? So it wouldn’t be vegan. We had marshmallows on the banoffee waffle. Do they contain gelatine?
We ordered 2 non vegan and 2 vegan waffles and all the ice cream tubs weren’t labelled so we didn’t know which ones were vegan. We had to leave ours as we didn’t want to risk it.
A. “. M.I really felt for the poor guy on front of house, he was clearly new to the job, it was very busy and he had no support trying cope on his own. If I were in his shoes, I dont think I would return for the next shift. He was very polite and kept apologising to customers, it really wasn't his fault. The food preparation was very slow, despite there being 3 people preparing food, in fact the on line orders seemed to be getting served quicker than the customers in the restaurant. Then a very noisey group came in with their feral kids shouting jumping around, while the parent sat on another table oblivious. I can't complain about the deserts though, they were amazing. Well done to that young man, I do hope it got better for you. Don't think I will return though.

r.I had travelled to Colchester to celebrate my anniversary with my partner and we'd stumbled upon this place at the top of the high street. We were warmly greeted by the staff even though we were the last ones in at night and they held a friendly conversation with us while we waited. Of course at that time some of the items had run out, but we were well accommodated with alternative toppings. A very special thank you to the store manager Nouran and the staff member Natasha for creating an extra special memory for our anniversary. If we're ever back in Colchester, we'll be sure to visit again!!

Also I want to give a shout out to Gabi. She has been an absolute delight! The place was packed and she was managing it really well with a smile on her face. True indication of someone who breathes hospitality. She managed busy front of the house as well as the team in the back making sure orders are done quickly.
Will be going back next time I'm in Colchester.

Go for more original ones is my advice: rose cheesecake was great, same their signature milk cake, but a tiramisu had good chocolate but the coffee part was uninspiring. Ice creams really good.

Wanted to take our plates as soon as they were empty and wanted payment straight away. After we said we weren't finished (because we were chatting and wanted to stay longer) they came back again 5 mins later and took the plates without asking, saying "how are you going to pay today?". The restaurant was not busy and it was not close to closing time. It felt rude and rushed. Disappointed as have come here twice before with no problems. Thought it was a one off but after reading others reviews seems to be a common (management?) problem.

L.Don't know why it took us a year of living in Colchester to try this place! There are so many times when you just fancy a good ice-cream or bit of cake a night, and these guys are the answer!
Open til late; they have an extensive menu with amazing vegan and gluten free options- with a whole separate menu!
I took my in laws here and they were so spoilt for choice.
Big or small; hot or cold; they have it.
S. C.The service here alone could give 5 stars! The staff are so incredibly friendly, bombastic, and very very helpful with helping an indecisive group of sixth formers choose their desserts. The desserts themselves are extremely filling, safisfying, and tasty. There's often a promotion going on too, such as the free hot drink I managed to get. Try the Afogato they're decadent for any coffee drinker! I've been here several times before and I'll continue to come here. Plus, it really isn't expensive at all. Similar prices to Kaspas.
