Amazing family day out for a really good price.
Enough going on to keep the kids (or all ages) entertained all day.
The cafe served great snacks and ice cream..and more importantly cold drinks (we went in 32° heat)
My only suggestion would be to add some recycling bins as we had a lot of cans/recycling options that just went in the bin..but that was a minor part of an amazing day out

A wonderful day, plenty to do, great activities. New adventure play area. Expanded a lot since our last visit. Great ice cream and other food options. Picnic benches too. Lovely space for children to meet and feed the animals. Plenty of outdoor space for children to run out and have fun! Good value for money.
S. B.
My first visit with a friend and her little girl yesterday. The farm is so lovely and it’s great that you can feed the animals (an extra charge of £1.25 per bag).
Those complaining about the entry fee obviously do not understand the costs involved in keeping animals and running a business. The animals need feeding, veterinary treatment, staff wages, general running costs and like all of us, the cost of living has increased, therefor businesses need to increase their fees to reflect that. It really isn’t difficult to understand!
The entry fee includes access to all activities inside, of which there are more than enough such as a tractor ride, maze, peddle go-carts, animal meet and greets and much more. I know a lot of places where you pay to enter, then have to pay extra to take part in activities.
The cafe is superb; the food choices were great and just enough for a small café like this.
Lastly the ice cream! Absolutely delicious and I’ve been waiting to try it for a long time; was not disappointed. I am very much an ice cream lover and it’s not often you find one like Bluebells.
I will definitely be returning as there is so much to see and do. A great family day out.

Took my youngest sister (7) here today. What a fabulous place, very well kept. Beautiful animals all well kept and cared for. Had a lovely day out would highly recommend! Will definitely be returning!

Christmas experience was simply the best so well thought out. From the singalong to helping the elves the hit chocolate stop and story time with Santa. How the gifts came down the chimney was a great idea we all really enjoyed it. Fantastic
S. S.
Went with family for a day trip. Entry cost £10 pp. It was worth it as kids really enjoyed. Plenty of farm animals to look at, including a cow safari. Also got to feed and pet the animals. Lots of play activities as well.
The icecream was delicious and bought fresh milk to take with.

My kids really enjoy the farm, we've been coming here for years. The improvements made are very good and they seem to be building a whole new play area for bigger kids (October 21) which is a very welcome addition.
My main gripe is that there's no accommodations for food intolerances in the cafe. How hard is it to buy a tub of dairy free spread so my 4 year old daughter doesn't have to eat a dry ham cob, really? I know you're a dairy farm, but it's hardly her fault that she's intolerant to dairy. It's 2021, we shouldn't be having to beg for inclusion still.
Halloween event was very good, and we got fantastic pumpkins. The shows are always fantastic for kids, and well worth the entry fee.
S. P.
The farm has changed so much over the years. Now you can spend all day there without realising. The plant potting was my favourite activity, while our children liked the tractor safari best.

Great farm, lots of animals and activities. Kids areas are a lot of fun for them. Ice cream is amazing

Perfect day out with the kids. Variety of animals and options to feed too. Also includes a great indoor sand play area and Ofcourse the cafe with special ice cream made in house
R. A.
Best farm we’ve visited! So much for kids to see and do. Very well maintained and clean. Ice cream was delicious! The animals were so tame and cute with a good variety. There was a large outdoor play area and indoor big sandpit too.
Y.
Our second visit here and we loved it. We visited mid-week and it was lovely and quiet. The animals are very interactive and it's great for big and little kids. We wish we'd have bought two bags of 4-legged food as there weren't many 2-legged things to feed.
Fantastic ice cream to finish off too!
D. E.
We spent the day here today. The kids enjoyed it and so did I. Especially the Highland cows they are my favourite. There was lots to do to keep us busy all day. The foam party at the end of the day was a hit especially in this heat! The only thing I'd say more shaded areas are needed. Great little place to visit with younger kids. We took a picnic and a few drinks so save some pennies as it is an expensive day out.
C. E.
We had an absolutely wonderful day at Bluebells' Christmas special. Elves everywhere guiding us through a variety of fun experiences, all really different and great for a wide spread of ages. There's so much love, imagination, care and attention put into making sure the children have a really good time. Plus the excellent food, drink and ice cream, the animals, the play barn, outdoor play area and enormous bouncy pillow.. we spent hours there... amazing value for money. Thanks Bluebells! We will definitely be back very soon.
L. F.
Absolutely lovely day, the staff work so hard at making it a fun filled day, and my grandsons, daughter and myself thought it was a fantastic day. Animals all looked so well cared for, everywhere was clean, friendly staff and just so much to do…. Not to mention the lovely ice cream.
We can’t wait to return.
Well priced too.

We had a lovely day for the first day of the summer fun... there are lots of new things to see and do since we last went. Today we were lucky enough to catch the bug show and the very first foam party which was an absolute blast! We've also come home with about 47 litres of pear and elderflower sorbet because it is absolutely divine ✨️ super good fun for all the family 💕
C.
Came here with my 3 year old daughter and she loved it. The place is big enough to stretch your legs but not too big that you end up needing a pushchair yourself. The time-table for the pet events are perfectly spread out and in between these the play areas are great - with picnic benches all round. The staff are very friendly and nearly everything there is free once you’re in. Bouncing pillow, foam party, pet talks, maze, tractor ride!! What more could you want. The cafe serves amazing ice cream and there’s a small shop on the way out (of course). Plenty of parking space.
A. F.
Saw an advert on Instagram and thought we would check it out as it was cheaper then another one we looked at, and it didn’t disappoint. Great farm and play areas plenty to do the kids loved it and want to go again. Food was lovely and so many choices for ice cream makes it hard to decide. Definitely a place to revisit.
N. S.
Fantastic Christmas experience. Children (and adults) loved all the different elements. Santa was great and took the time to have a picture with everybody. The children get to choose a present which comes out of a chimney at the end which is another special touch. Everyone was very friendly and it's great that you get entry to the farm for 3 hours before your santa visit.
L. P.
Lovely day out for the kids. We enjoyed our visit and definitely recommend taking the family there. However they definitely need some signs in the cafe for ice cream and drink counters. I made the mistake of standing in the only line to be told at the end (15/20min later…) that the drinks are served at the counter next door!
M. S.
Over the years have visited many similar farm set ups with the kids, chose to check out Bluebell's.
Didn't disappoint!! Great set up with lots to do and some great activities included in the price. We normally just spend 2-3 hours at these places but we stayed at Bluebell's for over 6 hours. The foam party at the end of the visit the icing on the cake.
Thanks Bluebell's 👍👍

Great place to take the kids for a good feel of nature and the outdoors. We fed all the four legged animals which was a huge hit along with watching the sheep racing and doing the llama walk which was fab. They are so soft.
The playground is fab, lots to do and then you finish it off with an ice cream.
The 4/5 stars is down to the fact I find the ice cream “icy” which means it might have a higher water rate. I prefer dairy yard ice cream to be really really creamy to get that final star.
But over all a great place to come.
E. H.
We went for the Halloween event and it was fantastic! So much effort had been put into it, all the staff were happy, friendly and enthusiastic. The only downside is that the cafe is a little small for the amount of peole that were, so could do with an alternative indoor seating area for wet and cold days. Will definitely be returning!
W.
We had an astoundingly good day out today. We attended the Halloween event at the farm and it was brilliant.
My boy attended in costume as a Werewolf and was complimented by every staff member he encountered which made him feel really special.
We booked on-line and that experience was smooth as silk.
We attended every event and they were fun for both of us.
The pumpkin 🎃 patch was huge and we got to carve the pumpkin on site with staff helping out.
Ultimately this was a very very well run event and its worth taking some extra cash for the divine ice cream 🍦 😀 😍.
Well done to you and your staff 5 Stars 🌟 🤩 👏 👍
D. M.
Great place x x maize bouncy pillows animals, shows pumpkin picking x amazing ice cream x
L. C.
Nice farm park with loads to do. Ice cream was lovely. Animals seemed happy and well cared for. The staff were really nice.
Only annoying thing was having to go all the way back out to get round to the cafe.
K. C.
Brilliant day out for all the family!
We visited for my son’s 2nd birthday and he had a fantastic day. There is so much to do and the staff are very friendly. The small animal handling was brilliant and the ice cream was delicious. Highly recommend Bluebell Dairy for all the family!
K. B.
Great fun for all the family loads to do and see, super tasty food and ice cream made on site
A. B.
Lovely farm, lots of different activities for all ages.
We looked at bugs today which all 3 children ranging between 2 and 6 loved.
It's not cheap to get in, and the food is a bit pricey but worth a visit!
D. M.
Expensive!
Very nice to see the animals.
Would benefit from a soft play perhaps as oppose to a sand pit, which had bits of rubbish in it.
Nice day out.
M. W.
Amazing service and menu once we arrived throughout the entire day, but had 15 minutes traffic outside to get in and a slight lack of things to do for the whole day. Gorgeous setting but a bit smelly and empty.
A.
Lovely location. Lots for the kids. Plenty of parking.. went during summer holidays. The queue was huge.. but went to try the ice cream. Even though the texture was nice. But the actual flavour was very bland. I had lemon..and chocolate hazelnut and both almost tasted the same.. Shame. As its a good location. Great ingredients..just not enough flavour. To some of the other ice cream farms etc.
J. S.
Me and other family went for the Bluebells camping experience and I have to say it was incredible! It started with pretty much zero wait time and then proceedes to setup the tent with decently large pitches in a cosy field.
After a great day in the park seeing the cows on the tractor ride, especially Dave! We then went for dinner with a pulled pork burger, chips and a 2 scoop ice cream sundae with brownie!!
Overall I would definitely do it again but the one thing I would say is that the food can be slightly overpriced but well worth it in the end!
S. R.
Lovely farm. Lots of animals to see who all looked well looked after. Friendly staff. Given a map and timetable of activities to do. Get to buy animal feed and feed the animals. Lots of play areas - indoor and outdoor. Picnic benches and cafe. Toilets not bad for a farm. Would go again.
L. M.
We had the best day at the Pumpkin festival today. It was even better than last year. There was so much to do, all the costumes were fantastic and the kids absolutely loved it, especially the monster mash bash.
R. T.
Wonderful place can touching the animals & very good place for the kids
K. S.
Really lovely farm for a family day out. They have a range of animals to see and feed. Food for the animals are at a cost but you get a big bag so very reasonable. The overall walk around is about 1.5 hours. Cost to farm a little pricey (£6.50 even for kids over 1 years old) but it's once in a while. You can't go and not have the ice cream!!! So creamy and delicious.
H. J.
Great day for kids, not so great for bank balance so book online if you can and rough road to drive in gravel wise.
But the activity schedule is fantastic the staff are absolutely lovely, very tasty icecreams, inventive play areas and new themes every few weeks. They have done so much with the place! Everytime I go there is so much more to see and do plus spacious car park, at least in the early afternoon when I went.
Petting giant rabbits, reptile days, brushing goats, sheep racing, you name it.
C. M.
Really thought this was a great place to visit with younger children. My little one absolutely enjoyed his day. The only reason i have given 4 stars and not 5 was because as lovely as the day was, this is a place for younger children and i struggled in some areas to push the pushchair. On the grass areas or areas that didnt have too many stones it was ok but on the deep gravelled area (and there was a bit of deeper gravelled areas) it was near to impossible to push a pushchair. But again as for activities and seeing the animals that was amazing.
M. H.
Went to see Santa and the Elfs at Bluebell Farm well what an experience. Such fun interacting with the Elves and Santa even us adults joined in. It was really magical all the trees with snow and lights on. The penguins were brilliant and as for Humbug tje Elf and the sweet tractor experience we'll that was the best.
Santa was so realistic and told a lovely story again with audience participation.
It truly was a magical experience. Love this Farm.
B. M.
The sheep race was genuinely thrilling... and the kids seemed to like it! They loved the cow safari, alpaca walking and truck riding. Lots to do and see, can easily spend all day there so get there early and finish off with ice cream before you go.
J. B.
I don't know what else to say other than this place literally serves the most amazing ice cream desserts I have ever tasted (and I've tasted A LOT!)
There's a staggering variety of options on offer ... Hot ice cream based desserts (waffle type things for example), numerous cold ice cream desserts (just layer upon layer of amazing - ness and the most awesome ice cream ever), milkshakes, plain ice cream, hot drinks....
My dessert was just to die for. There was so much in there and all of it tasted like heaven. Sadly, despite my best endeavours, I am ashamed to say I couldn't eat it all because it was HUGE, but it was so delicious it's impossible to convey!
I certainly wouldn't recommend visiting if you are watching your waistline, but if you want a real treat then you MUST visit.
This is basically the closest thing to heaven on earth 🍧🍨🍦🍧🍨🍦🍧🍨🍦
E. C.
A good variety of kids games but overall expensive (children pays more than adults). Limited diversity of animal species to look at, alpaca being the most exotic. Good icecreams
C. S.
Good farm park, lots of Easter/spring activities during the Easter holidays like lamb feeding.
Trailer ride including in the price. (Seasonal)
Would be nice to actually be able to cuddle animals in the "cuddle corner" not just stroke them.
They need a separate queue to buy ice cream (or a stand with all the flavours) as it's annoying having to wait in a huge queue with people ordering lunch at the cafe.
We came again for their half term "young farmers" event and the two actors playing farmer Geoff and Bluebell the cow were a HUGE hit with my children.
Another visit... Great pumpkin patch without too much other "stuff" to detract from the joy of pumpkins.
k. p.
Amazing place found out about it on Facebook. Kids loved the big bouncy ball and the foam party. Loved looking at all the different animals as well
T. M.
Went to the Christmas event they have on. Didn’t expect it to be half as good as it was! The staff were absolutely amazing with the children and made the experience 10x better!
R. W.
First visit here and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and patient. So many people were there but the sheer level of organisation was immense. The Halloween trail was so well laid out that it made it an even more enjoyable experience! The price was fantastic, considering the jumping pillow, games, go karts, petting the animals, the trail and the barn (where we carved our pumpkin) with the bale mountain and yet more activities..was all included. There were free icecream for the kids due to low pumpkin numbers and we also had delicious cake and tea! Overall we spent 4 hours of non-stop fun here. I can't recommend it enough, we are definitely going back for Xmas.
A.
Cheap entry price but the café is expensive and you have to pay extra for a tractor ride and animal feed. Staff are friendly and helpful and the play barn is great fun for the kids. Good day out and the ice cream is divine but we probably won't be back in a hurry. Adventure Farm in Burton is better value (and they sell Bluebell Dairy Ice cream there too)
T. B.
First time visiting since all new covid measures in place and dare i say it's the best day we've ever had here yet!
The booking system works so Not over crowded. One way systems guide us nicely round the farm and park.
We had Ice cream, picnic, saw lots of animals and played. Staff were brilliant. Had a lovely time.
S. T.
First visit with my special need daughter and they had a special event on for Easter. We dont usually stay too long at most places due to meltdowns so was good that I didnt have to pay entrance fee to go in as the carer go free. Think most kids would enjoy what was on offer. My daughter enjoyed feeding the animals and we paid a pound for some animal feed. She also enjoyed the go karts and swings. On looking around children loved the bouncy pillow unfortunately not something my daughter would go on. They also had a show on but also didnt watch this cos my daughter had a melt down so cant comment how good this was and Easter egg hunt which we did. There was a couple play areas park type sections which was good. Due to meltdown we ended up leaving after hour and half but felt it was value for money paid.
K. P.
Had a lovely time at bluebells with the grandchildren to visit Santa, well done to all the elf's for all your hard work xx
L. A.
Had an amazing day today at the farm pumpkin picking with my little boy. Enjoyed a lovely ice cream from the cafe too. Everything was totally covid safe and was lovely to have a day out
M. K.
There is something for all ages here. We went over Easter and enjoyed a Wonderland themed event with hiularious characters, brilliant costumes and loads for the kids to do!! Even a sheep race! It was so fun and it is possible to see the kids most of the time so it feels very safe when they all decide to dart in different directions! Plus, of course.... great ice cream :)
V.
Great for kids, staggered booking times so no crowding. Fantastic play area for kids and a lovely cafe with hotdogs, burgers, ice cream and dairy free alternatives. The only downside is there weren't any available seats in the cafe and one of the activities listed didn't take place with no reason given.
Would definitely recommend a visit for a fab day out 👍
R. F.
Really fun experience, my 16 month old daughter loved it and really enjoyed playing with the rabbits and the sheep race. Very Covid-19 safe too with loads of hand sanitizers and spaced out benches for eating.
S. T.
Visited recently with our 5yo daughter. We had the most amazing day. There was lots for us to do and see. We especially loved seeing all the new lambs and kids on the farm. The bouncy pillow and the new outdoor play equipment were thoroughly enjoyed. We had lots of fun meeting all the animals and took advantage of the different experiences on offer. Walking animals and petting area were a big hit. We enjoyed an amazing home cooked meal in the cafe. The pulled pork fries in particular was amazing. The ice cream was nothing short of perfection. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. A full day out and fun for all.
L. L.
Had a fabulous visit to Bluebells. Highly recommend. Beautifully decorated. Had good fun throwing snowballs. Loved the hot chocolate in the Aline alpine bar. Superb effort from the staff.
V. B.
Not been for a while and was somewhat surprised by the increase in pricing for everything. Don't get me wrong the ice cream is still great but is it worth £3 a scoop. No it's not. Particularly after a 10 min queue to find none of the flavours advertised above the counter are actually available. Not sure we'll be back in a rush.
F. A.
A fantastic day out. We saw and fed different animals, brushed a goat, walked a sheep and petted a rabbit and some Guinea pigs. We then had a play on the park and jumping pillow before lunch which was reasonably priced and tasty. It arrived quickly and the ice cream was amazing. The toilets are brill as they have little seats for little bums as well as normal seats and even though it was muddy, everywhere was clean and tidy. Another highlight was the sheep racing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we can't wait to visit again.
M. B. W.
My favourite place to go. Beautiful, well kept and obviously happy animals who don't seem to mind a bit of fuss! Plenty of different activities for all ages. I even love going when the weather is terrible! For the price membership is a must, I'm there weekly! The staff are very outgoing and so welcoming with a café accomodating many dietary restrictions , can't recommend enough :)
J. F.
Managed to get around quite easily with a walking frame. loads for the little ones to do. Loved feeding and petting the animals. Delicious ice cream. 10 year old son said I had to give 5 stars and I agree!
B. E.
Visited after a 5.1 mile walk from Chaddesden, didn't go to the farm itself but got drinks and ice cream.
Obviously I can't comment on the farm side of things but the ice cream is delicious with some excellent flavours, I had café latte and crème brulé whilst my partner had jammie dodger.
Prices for ice cream and drinks are inline with most other places like this, not exactly cheap, but not as expensive as I thought it'd be to be fair.
K. B.
We had an amazing time out! All the animals were adorable, we throughly enjoyed feeding all the four legged friends! Definitely recommend for anyone with children or anyone who loves animals!
A. D.
Loved our visit...lovely animals on farm...we loved feeding them and enjoyed nature trail. And yeah the ice cream was top notch.I had deviliously chocolate flavour...will be visiting again
A. O.
Amazing day out and great value for money, we couldn't get around everything in one day so we'll definitely be going back.
Went with my mum, dad and nephew, we all had an amazing time, but most importantly my nephew loved it.
All of the staff were absolutely amazing, they all seemed so happy to be there, and were more than happy to help us with anything, they were all very knowledgeable about the animals which made the experience even better and all the animals looked extremely healthy and happy!
They've also done a spectacular job at abiding to social distancing regulations, we felt extremely safe regarding the current pandemic, they have hand sanitising stations dotted all around the facility and they've reduced their daily intake which makes social distancing much easier. It is important to know they do not currently accept cash, which wasn't an issue for us, I personally liked the fact they only accept card at this moment in time.
Ohh before I forget to mention the ice-cream is delicious!!!
R. W.
Enjoyable day with family and friends. If the sun hadn't come out we would have struggled for shelter. A few things were closed such as the maze and a new playground was in development but closed, no tractor rides, hence only 4 stars.
P. G.
Fabulous day out with our grandchild aged 8. Fun for all the family. Lots to do and see and participate in. Amazing foam party to end the day!
G. P.
Nice place, not a lot of shade, the animals looks healthy. The lady on the petting corner was lovely. A bit expensive. Paths were very difficult to push pushchairs.
N. K.
Just a quick review to say thank you to bluebells who helped me provide 400 tubs of ice cream to customers on the hottest day of the year, at such short notice.
Exceptional customer service from Tash and the team.
H. F.
Great little local farm with animals that are obviously well loved and cared for. Ice cream is absolutely amazing 😍 lots to do for younger children. A great day out. Food available on site too.
R. K.
Absolutely love this place. We've been multiple times and it never fails to impress. It's such a great day out with the kids and the icecream is amazing
A. B.
I’d highly recommend for a fun day out with the family. There’s lots of activities, great play areas, really nice food and of course great ice cream!
K. G.
Brilliant day out. So much to do. Staff were very knowledgeable about the animals and great with the kids. Will definitely be coming back soon
E. H.
Lovely diary farm. I only went into the tearooms which was spacious and modern place to have some hot food or in my case a tub of yummy ice cream.
K. E.
Went to the summer fun first day of kids holidays and it was absolutely amazing the kids loved it especially the foam party
I took my 10 year old niece my 8 year old daughter 1 year old son and the activities suited all of them
It was the best thing we did and are debating on getting the summer pass
Loved it best place ever!!
C. B.
My two year old enjoyed this trip so much he wanted to stay forever! Staff are friendly and helpful and there is so much to do from small children to big!
A. T.
What an amazing find, and worth the 40 mile drive! Clean, well thought out and run by staff who clearly care. A full day of smiles.... thank you x
S. J.
Lovely little farm, great for my 4 year old. Little outdoor park, and indoor corn pit and play area. Plenty of animals to feed. Ideal for a little afternoon trip. Or was a chilly day so we didn't try the ice cream! Maybe next time! 😄
B. J.
Loads for kids all ages under 12. Great value and friendly, helpful staff. Ice cream is brilliant too.
c. c.
Few years since we last visited and we loved it then. Love it even more now . Lots of new attractions and great value for money
L. H.
Amazing day out enjoyed by all adults and children 5 *
Wish you were closer we would visit every week.
C.
Amazing experience once again at bluebells, great activities lovely family day out and the staff went the extra mile to help my little one.
r. h.
Really enjoy this farm. Great value and loads to do and see. Make sure you go in for the sheep races as they are brill
C. C.
Great place, starting raining on our first visit and we were given a free pass to return. Loved it.
A.
Never been before and we all had a great day, sheep racing should be a national sport and the ice cream is tip top.Grandkids loved everything and went mad in the foam party and went home wet and happy
R. S.
A wonderful day was had at the Alice in Wonderland themed Easter Event. After three hours it was time to go and it required our best powers of persuasion to leave as there was so much for children to do. We were really impressed. Thank you.
A. A.
Excellent farmpark for little ones . I have 4 year old and 1 yr old.
Since opening again Feb 2022 the additions are very good and practical, the new clean, easily accessible toilets, the huge new play area and zip wire. Farm academy was on when we went and was very good.
J. B.
Had a fabulous day at the Christmas experience, the best we've been to 🎅🌲
s. d.
I’ve not been for a couple of years and the reason for this it didn’t take long to get around the place but I was pleasantly surprised with the new play areas for the kids, a petting corner and so many more animals to see. Not to mention the amazing ice cream 🍦and food. I will definitely be visiting Bluebell’s Farm much more now. My son said he had the best day EVER!!!
N. D.
Really nice place I never new existed. Ice cream is lovely and the hot chocolate was not bad too, been good if we could have got breakfast there instead of just cake ,ice cream and drinks. But worth a visit just for the ice cream
J. N.
We had such a good time at the Halloween fest. We loved seeing the animals and feeding them. The extra shows and games were brilliant for the kids. The only downside for us was we had to pay the full amount for our just over 1 year old this is the same amount as a 16 year old and we felt that was a bit steep as she obviously didn’t get the same experience as older children. So we did feel a little robbed out of £23.90. But apart from this we still had a great time.
J. F.
A great day out for my daughter, myself and partner. Well organised timetable of events, friendly staff, really enjoyed it. Finished off with ice cream at the cafe on site, delicious!
S. K.
What a wonderful place for a family day out. There's so much for the kids to do, they didn't want to leave! Plenty of mini activities like stroking rabbits and guinea pigs, walking with the sheep to name a couple. Friendly staff..defo worth the visit and you have to try their ice cream 😋
D. H.
Amazing day out today at bluebell farm with the Easter in wonderland theme! All the characters were great! Especially the queen of hearts ♥️
Fantastic would highly recommend! Only slight negative we had was service really slow in cafe as lots of team not serving and the ones that were looked miserable and could hear them just talking about getting a break !? Shame as the rest of the day was fab!!
E. B.
We have just been to the ice cream getaway camping. Despite the bad weather, we had an excellent time. The food was delightful, ice cream amazing. The quiz was good fun. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. Angela, who greeted us and showed us to our "pitch" was fabulous. Always smiling, enthusiastic, nothing too much trouble. Not only did she greet us, she was doing the quiz in the evening, serving drinks at the bar, she then served us for breakfast in the morning. Even my youngest daughter said, Angela works really hard, she's everywhere doing everything. Would really recommend the camping experience.
K. H.
We had no idea what to expect about today. But had a fantastic time and it was all perfect for our almost 4 year old son. He participated in the fashion show, modelling tinsel 🤣 and we had fun with the snowball training, throwing balls into the various buckets. The hot chocolate was a welcome pause in the festivities and we got the chance to post a letter to Santa. Finally, meeting Santa was a great highlight - he was brilliant with the kids and the gift we brought home has been played with all afternoon!
l. h.
Great day out lots to do, we didn't manage to do everything as I loose my children to the jumping pillow for hours! Always loved visiting here, only drawback is the cost of food and drink here. We only brought snacks, drink and ice cream and it made for a very expensive day out. But the children had fun which is the main thing.
V. S.
Absolutely fantastic day from start to finish. Warmly welcomed by helpful staff who clearly love being at work! The farm is clean, tidy and beautifully presented with exciting and inviting play areas. We visited for the Santa's Snowlympics event and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely and entertaining each part was, not only for our children but us aswell! Laughing throughout at the dedicated actors and had lots of fun joining in. Thanks for a fabulous time, we have made great memories here.

Lovely little farm with sheep, goats, cows, alpacas, and pet animals as well as several play areas, picnic areas (including covered marquee) and Maizeaze (during the summer). Also has indoor barn with large play area on sandpit, pretend shops and foam ball cannons. Farm makes its own ice-cream which you can enjoy in their cafe, which sells hot and cold snacks. Suited to younger children - would say up to about 12. Have events during the day like sheep racing and cuddling small animals. Recommend
S. G.
We had a great day at Bluebells! We really enjoyed goat grooming, lamb feeding and the petting corner. The new parks and the bouncy pillow are great, it feels like there’s loads to do!
S. G.
Lovely spacious farm with lots to see and do. The animals look well cared for and happy which is great to see. There are loads of play areas for kids and loads to do. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Halloween event was really good too 😊
A. G.
Went there with my grandchildren not expecting much. Left 5 hours later with two very happy children (aged 3 and 5) and we were happy too.
So much to commend, especially the sheep race and the pleasantness of the staff.
The only issue we're the toilets where things were all a bit too high for little children.
Thoroughly recommend and we will return!
M. G.
Feeding the animals is great fun, all the ice creams are amazing. It was a really hot day,so the ice cream was very welcome
A. H.
We love Bluebells! Fantastic farm and playground in the countryside with a lovely atmosphere and great views. There are lots of activities with a wide range animals, our favourite is the cow safari! There are mini tractors to play on, a large playground and the fantastic bouncy pillow!! The cafe is really practical for parents and young children, plenty of seating inside and outside and the ice cream is of course delicious!!
In answer to the reviewers noting the queues, we visited last weekend when it was very busy. There was a large queue to get in but this went down quickly when an extra member of staff jumped in to help.
I couldn’t recommend Bluebells enough, we are already looking forward to our next visit and the special events for Halloween and Christmas.
A. B.
Fab experience seeing Father Christmas! Definitely plan to visit again next year
G. S.
We had a fantastic day, there was lots to do, and a lot of animals to see. We all enjoyed calf cuddling and my little boy loved the tractor ride. The icecream was amazing, unfortunately we live an hour away, so didn't bring any home with us, but if you live nearer, or come prepared, be prepared to stock up! 🤣🍦
M. W.
Really good for children and staff are polite, everything is easy to sort out, will deffo visit again!
C. W.
Lovely place to take children of all age with lots to do and plenty of places to sit in the shade in the sunny weather.
My very boisterous son had an accident and cut his head on the path, a first aider came and made sure he was OK and cleaned him up. One staff member bought the injured party and his little brother some ice cream to help the recovery which was amazing of them. ❤
Can't rate it enough. 😊
N. R.
A lovely day out for the whole family and super tasty ice-cream! An opportunity to let your inner child out.
P. T.
Wonderful Christmas event. The character actors were all excellent and got everyone into the festive joining in. A wonderful experience in these very strange times. I think everyone felt safe with all the precautions taken. Lovely food as well in the cafe afterwards.
R. B.
Lovely day out with kids, especially enjoyed feeding animals and corn maize and not forgetting bouncy pillow!!
Z. C.
An amazing place for a kids day out. The food in the cafe is delicious too.
T. B.
Took the kids here pretty short notice today. Loved all the 1 way systems although at a couple of points it could have been clearer. Plenty hand sanitizer dotted about and all staff were very friendly. It was a lovely few hours out with the kids. The maize was really good and the bouncy pillow proved a big hit with the kids. Feeding the animals was also a top scorer. The ice creams were soooooo delicious! A winner for the whole family. I had the toffee/fudge and wow. DELICIOUS! The husband and kids had honeycomb, lemon curd, rhubarb ripple, raspberry something or another and they all loved theirs too. 10/10 there!
The price for eating inside (I had to feed my baby) was shocking. My husband thinks he paid £17 for our ice creams which should have only been £11 (1xtripple and 3xsingle cones). Since we couldn't confirm what we paid at the time, we didn't challenge it. But will have a look once the purchase is showing on our account. If it's right, I can't see why they'd charge that much. There's no dishes to wash and they weren't cleaning the tables after each customer either. We will see...
Portaloos were beyond disgusting though. They stunk so so bad and there was what I can only hope was dried water droplets all over the seat and surfaces. The loo I went into couldn't separate the seat from the lid so I ended up hovering (no way I was sitting anyway) above the loo to do my business.
Other than that. We had a good time, the kids had loads of fun and even my husband had fun with the kids on the bouncy pillow. I have photos to tease him with at a later date.
Thank you Bluebell Farm. We will be back.
A. G.
A great day out for a young family. A very well thought out attraction, with lots to do for little ones and events on throughout the day. Lots of options at the cafe and of course, great ice cream!
C. P.
Came today with my friend and our children and it was a lovely day out. Would definitely come again.
S. B.
Great day out for children with Parents or/and Grandparents though a little expensive when you get there for food and drink and ice creams
S. R.
Hidden gem on our doorstep. Great for young kids, though older ones may find it less interesting.
Fantastic ice cream, with a wide range of flavours.
The food offer is confusing in the food area, needs to be clearer, gives initial impression that it is ice cream only.
You've got to watch the sheep racing!
R. W.
Bluebell is getting better every time we go, you can see that their investing in the site. We went to the Halloween event, which initially I thought was a bit pricy however, the show and activities they put on were pretty good. The kids had a great day despite the rain. The indoor area is coming on. For me that would be something I'd like them to improve if its rains you're kind of stuck for things to do.
N. W.
We went on a Sunday after the summer hols so didn't have any queuing issues. Great fun particularly for toddler ages, the maze was shut but other than that we enjoyed all that was on offer including the bouncy pillow which is fun for adults alike! Lots of sanitiser stations and wasn't uncomfortably busy on our visit so we very much enjoyed it - including the ice cream. Maybe more could be made out of the trail walk. We made it round with an offroad buggy as there are no steps or gates but didn't see anything of interest and didn't entertain the child much, we didnt see anyone else walking round it at all! I'm not sure how you could stretch it out for any more than about half a day but an entertaining place to visit every now and again as all littlens tend to love animals!
L. D.
Lovely farm for the children. All staff very friendly. Plenty of play parks, activities and animals!
E. P.
Great place to spend the day. Lots of outside seating which I can imagine is great in summer but super windy today so seating inside was at a premium
Food lovely, and lots for kids to do being half term.
L. G.
A very nice place, good to visit with all family! Kids definetly would like it! Many funny animals and delicious icecream!
P. T.
Been to Bluebells at other times of the year but the Halloween event is really good. The maize me makes you laugh with all the jokes and the 'wrong way' monsters make the children squeal. The pumpkin picking and carving is great. The best bit was the Trick or Treat training show. They got everyone involved and were a great pantomime act.
H. H.
We did the date with a difference experience with the Highland cow. There was food to feed Delilah and brushes to groom her. Turn up in plenty of time as the line to get in is quite slow moving.
J. B.
Lovely visit to see santa, very covid safe they sanitised before and after each group. Kids had a fab time
B. B.
Lovely coffee and rocky road cake. Superb ice cream, I had the lemon curd. Also nice selection of friendly animals.... don't be fooled by Brenda.... we were. Great for toddlers.
G. M. (.
Absolutely loved this place, went for my daughter's 4th birthday and she couldn't be happier. She managed to get both grandma's and granddad's to join her on the bouncer - which I'm so glad that I got videos of 😂 - and me, of course. She then, reluctantly at first, went on to feed the animals and then she wouldn't stop! These were the highlights but we managed to try everything, but the soaker, in about 4 hours. However, there is a whole days itinerary of things to do - from sheep racing to petting to tractor rides.
Great trip for all the family!
D. B.
Great place to take the kids.
Still some work going on but improvements are all excellent 👍
K. S.
We really loved it here. We can't wait to go back and take my partner too. We would have stayed longer but it was raining badly so left earlier than planned.
D. L.
Great place to keep kids entertained for a few hours food served and delicious ice cream
T. H.
Absolutely amazing had a brilliant time loads for children to do really good value for money.
C. B.
Problems with the tills when we went so were waiting a long time to get served. Food was nice, not the most expensive but certainly not cheap. Would have been an extra star if it wasn't for the fact we were overcharged for a brownie, and at £3.50 that's not a cheap mistake! Already left by then though.
M. B.
Great way to end the kids six week holidays they had the best time!
M. C.
Christmas Experience was excellent. Not crowded, not rushed. Characters were all very well performed, especially the big man 🎅. The cheeky elf helpers made it all go smoothly. Very impressed.
E. L.
Nice farm with lots of animals that seem well looked after. Slightly disappointed with the cafe. Very expensive for food served in plastic cartons and half the ingredients missing in one of the meals ( when asked they hadn't had a delivery but this wasn't mentioned on ordering). The main reason for the 3 stars is the indoor play park is still shut. Why?
K. C.
Fab day! Always a good day out!
A little disappointed the play barn wasn't open
But luckily only had a brief shower😊
A. B.
Great fun for kids and parents. Nice ice cream. Big variety of entertainment for kids. Great day out. Very recommended
L. N.
The little ones loved it! Lots to see and do, great day out.
S. W.
A very good range of things to do for the children, who thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
P. H.
Stopped by for a Coffee and Food while we were doing a circular route.
We were disappointed with the food on offer.
Such things as Scones,Toasted Teacakes & Sandwiches were not on the menu or available.
Enquired about the Play Farm with a view to brining our Grandaughters but it seemed a bit pricey.
V. R.
Loved this farm. Well run with social distancing. The sheep race was absolutely hilarious. Food and drink extortionate so take a lunch with you.
I think ice cream price is ok as they make themselves. Staff very friendly.
Admission price is very good compared to other farms we have visited.
The drive up to it isn't as bad as some said on trip advisor.
N. G.
An absolutely amazing place, the ice cream is out of this world, all flavours are yummy. The fresh milk is lovely and so creamy just like the old days, with a cream top ❤ definitely recommend, if you want lovely service and yummy produce you need to visit
M.
I used to love Bluebells but they really have moved away from catering for walkers and people without kids. We live nearby but it is no longer fun to walk over for a quick ice-cream or cake. With so many families here there is rarely space to sit down in the cafe. Still it's a sign they are doing well overall I guess.
H. W.
Really good day out, pouring with rain today so a little miserable but the animals were still out. Had the farm almost to ourselves! Had a good experience with the cow cuddling and got a spend a lot of time with the animals.
H. B.
Ice cream was delicious 😋 but the actual farm is expensive for what it is but animals looked very clean and well treated staff could be a bit more happier
F.
A great day out. Well set out, healthy friendly animals. Lots of other attractions to keep young ones busy. Cafe food delicious. Only criticism would be there needs to be a separate que for icecreams/ice-cream and food. Very friendly staff.
A. H.
Really nice farm for a afternoon out. Just thought though for £6.50 for entry and then a £1.50 booking fee to then have to pay for all animal food was Abit much if you have a big family. Also they only gave two time slots for the cuddle corner which was at 11am and 4pm so for £8 (including booking fee) if you miss it due to the one way system then youve got to wait over 4 hours for the next slot. Just would be nice to get Abit more for the price! Overall nice place for a day out though
A. M.
Lovely place to visit. Couldn’t see that the maize was actually open as gate was shut. Also mention of go karts on the map, but couldn’t find it. Cute farm though for little ones. Excellent in door sand pit.
K. T.
We had a fantastic day out, my children enjoyed it, there was lots to see and do! They loved the goat grooming, cow safari tractor ride and petting the small animals!
J. L.
A lovely Farm to enjoy with the family or just the two of you.Delicious ice cream freshly made and comes in lots of different flavours. Staff very nice and knowledgeable and the animals seemed healthy and happy. It’s closed at the moment getting ready for a great Summer opening hopefully🤞
S. H.
Fabulous day out, kids loved it and so did the adults
A. “. P.
This is the second year we went to the Starlit Grotto and the Candy Cane express, this year was even better than the last, our children enjoyed the experience. The elves are great fun and do a fantastic job of entertaining the children and they loved meeting Santa.
The only disappointment was we took a later time, the cafe was closed so I didn't get a piece of cheesecake :(
T. D.
Every time we visit it’s always such a pleasant experience. Plenty for little one to do and see and the kids love feeding the animals especially the alpacas.
Thankyou bluebells for your amazing service. 😊
R. S.
We've been a number of times and never had a bad experience. We've taken out membership now which is fantastic value.
We have never had a bad experience and the staff are always amazing.
Big shout out the one eyed one horned fluffy purple people eater from Halloween. She was awesome.
We have allergies and the cafe have been great.
S. B.
Visited with my family (X2 adults and X2 kids) the entry fee was £30 which did include x4 bags of food for the animals. I would say this is a place for younger children say 12yo and below and not really for older children as the play areas are more geared for the younger in mind. The entrance road and carpark plus all hard standing areas in the park are uneven and gravelly and so not ideal for pushchairs or wheelchairs unless supervised (the main reason it's not a 5*) there's not a lot to do when your there but the day was fun and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the inflatable pillow. The cafe and ice cream are excellent and definitely sample when you are there. The toilets available are limited to one toilet per gender which are clean but if it's busy you will be queuing. Overall it's worth a visit but don't expect a lot of choice.
S. R.
The kids had a wonderful time at the snowlympics. It was a well organised day with lots of fun for the children. Would definitely recommend
J. N.
Lovely place to visit
Only gripe I have is the price for under two”s
When we visited in February under two”s were free and he had access to alll areas and animals
Now we have to pay £8 for a 19 month old who can’t go on most of the play equipment
Child price range is 1 to 16
A 12 year old will have more access to play equipment than a 19 month old
I do think they could have a lower price for under twos
With the present economic climate people will vote with their feet and unfortunately not visit As a 60 year old retired Nannie £16 for myself and a toddler is way too expensive
C. B.
Lovely artisan ice creams ,many different flavours, a good place to bring the children to visit the farm and play for a few hours.
s. r.
Visited during the haloween event. Excellent value for money. Lots to do and animals look so well cared for and are very friendly. The sheep race was great fun. There are safety procedures in place and staff are constantly cleaning and sanatizing. Great staff, great place. Would definitely take a picnic, plenty of places to sit and eat. Highly recommend a visit.
P. W.
Just a great place to visit with the kids. So much to do and see that you could spend hours there. All at a more than reasonable price. Only problem is that the kids didn’t want to leave.
J. C.
Lovely place to take kids, excellent ice cream deliciousness.
R. H.
Great place to visit with our 4yr old he loved it on the play areas and the animals are great especially if you have food lol, staff are so friendly too and they also do the best ice-cream in Derby definitely recommend
M. W.
Fun place if with young kids. But ice cream seems to get less flavourful as the years go on. Lemon curd barely tastes of lemon, Chocolate is pretty pale, etc
W.
Excellent place for ice cream lovers. Cheap but high quality scoops of ice cream. Exemplary polite staff. Strongly recommended!
A. K.
Lots to do for kids; animals to see and feed. Cafe on site but you can bring your own food. It's quite pricey for what it is but they've obviously got a lot of mouths to feed! Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for families with children under five.
J. B.
Visited Bluebell Farm on Good Friday so inevitably, it was going to be busy. We did stay to have a coffee & scones (£11 + for 2 coffees & 2 scones!). OH & I had to share a seat. The staff & service were excellent. However we decided not to stay to see the animals or go in the barn due to the excessive charges especially as we had already spent so much in the cafe. I appreciate that the animals need to be fed & cared for but to charge for adults AND kids is a bit odd plus a strange pricing system. The car park was a swamp which was not the farm's fault as the weather had been very wet but the whole set up was pretty chaotic &, sadly, we wished we hadn't gone. Not saying we won't go again but we'll give it a lot of thought.
I. K.
Nice place to visit in the sumer, very open very windy and very cold during our visit, however not the Farms fault, this being the second time we were full of high expectations, a Halloween experience for our 4 year old granddaughter, all dressed up and rearri g to go on our allotted slot of 3pm, on entry we were informed there had been a shortage of time tables, and this meant we had little to no idea what was on or where it was being held, as cosiquence we only got to see a fraction on offer.
Better luck next year Bluebell Dairy, we will be back but I think around the summer time...
E. L.
This is always a fun family day out, we never get dissapointed. And the ice creams are just the cherry on top.
B. S.
Great food, plenty of seating for the kids. Quick service and friendly staff. The kids play areas are great fun for all ages. The daily activities are well organised. The car park was a bit muddy and we nearly got stuck, be careful where you park! It looks like they are working on this though.
J. D.
Been to Bluebells a number of times over many years and it's great to see it growing. They have farm animals that are well kept and have a beautiful restaurant and friendly staff.
They also have a small indoor playbarn for the kids, an outdoor adventure area, bouncy inflatable pillow and go carts. In the last 2 years Bluebells have reviewed their pricing approach and here's were I have the issue.
They now charge quite a lot for adults. I do understand that to make a profit or grow; prices have had to increase. Charging an extra £3-4 pounds for a child is understandable. But to introduce what I think is quite a high charge for EACH adult who accompanies a child is in my view excessive when there is actually little for adults.
Where Bluebells is excellent and the prices are rightly justified are for special events, like the Halloween event we just attended where there was additional entertainment that justified the adult price. If the adult price was more reasonable I'd score it a 4 but I don't feel that the experience is value for money BUT that is not to say Bluebells is a bad experience. Clearly a lot of blood sweat and tears has gone into a beautiful, growing family attraction.
Seriously though please sort out the driveway up to the farm it's hazardous.
B. M.
Amazing place to go with a family not far from Derby. There are a lot of activities to do there.
There are petting zoo and the animals can be fed with food bought there. There are cows, donkeys, goats, chickens and other animals.
There is also an amazing play ground for the kids as well as some other activities for the young ones.
There is a nice cafe where you can buy and ice-cream made there and have lunch or breakfast.
W. A.
We visited the parlour this morning, the food we had was very tasty and reasonably priced. Angela served us and could not have been more friendly and welcoming, as were the other staff. The ice cream was delicious and we took some home. Will definitely make another visit.
A. N.
We used to love bluebells over the past 2 years. However, this year for some reason something has changed. We attended the unicorns/fairy weekend and that was fantastic. The shows/activities they had on was brilliant and entertaining for my 18 month and 3 year old, we spent the whole day there.
We then attended the Easter week after seeing lots of positive reviews on facebook and that was fantastic too, although quite pricey, but we don't mind paying for a decent day out and laughs with the family.
After having 2 fantastic experiences, and after speaking to one of the staff members who was manning the Bale Barn, she said this event would be spectacular and not one to miss, so we booked in for the Dinosaur day, and wow what a disappointment! I was absolutely appalled at the lack of enthusiasm from the staff, absolute rubbish entertainment (two people with puppets), the far corner of the farm where there's usually a treasure hunt etc was not open. We spent so much money and only stayed for 2 hours as we had completed all the activites and even had lunch in that time. Oh I forgot to mention there was one poxy dinosaur that walked around the whole event.
Sorry to say Bluebells, but we were so ready to attend every one of your events but now I don't want to come back.
S. W.
Had a fantastic day at Bluebell Dairy today during their Halloween event. It was perfect for my 4 and 8 year old. They both loved the panto, the bogarts dash, pumpkin walk and of course the play area. We had a lovely lunch - the sausage roll was the best I’ve tasted! We finished off with some face painting and pumpkin carving. Highly recommend.
S. s.
We came here for the santas woodland experience today. It was fantastic the setting was perfect, santa was amazing, mrs claus and their elves were brilliant. The staff here are really help full and polite too. Its the best santas grotto we have been to in 11 years. My daughter is 11 now and she loved it myself and my husband really enjoyed the experience too, Would defo recomend. Thers also a few animals to see and a few play activities to keep the children entertained after and before the experience. We did not eat or drink in the cafe so cant comment on this but the toilet facilities were clean and pleasent to use.
Thankyou to all of the staff for making our day and our family christmas.
Happy Christmas and a Happy New year to you all.
A. U.
The animal feed is extremely overpriced considering they now charge an entrance fee. Would not recommend the cafe at all, ordered a cheese sandwich which took 25 minutes to arrive, (by which time my daughter had finished her meal and was itching to go) and was very dry hardly any filling and not a cheap sandwich either at £5.95! It's a nice place to spend a couple of hours but by the time we'd finished I was nearly £40 down, quite expensive for such a short period of time for two people. Probably wouldn't bother going again.
E. S.
Lovely place. Recently had a move round and lovely new bits added. My little boy had a great time! Food is a bit pricy BUT it is delicious so great for a treat.
M. B.
Might need to request help to disabled toilets as one way system prevents wheelchair access. At this present time (may 2021)
Moved around a lot since I last visited . Not a short walk, so if part/full time user (wheelchair) you will need a hand x
A. B.
A great afternoon out with lots to see and do. Delicious food, ice cream and sorbets. We will be back again next week to make the most of our summer passes. 😊
A. J.
Went to buy normal vanilla ice cream, couldn't find any, would have liked 1 litre. Felt freezer positioned in wrong place as it held up people queuing. Direction arrows on floor confusing! Must say lovely ice cream, when you can get it!! Lovely place for children.
S. H.
Could be more animals on site.
Ice cream amazing
Great day out for children
E. T.
Loved it but was very busy. Plenty of play things for all ages. Good was good bit pricy and the staff did very well coping with the amount of people there! £3 for adults and £3 for kids to get in and food for the animals was a pound so all in all not a massively expensive day! Will defiantly be going again.
L. C. (.
Great day out for the whole family, lots to
do & very inexpensive. Good quality food in the cafe. Lovely ice cream! Only real complaint is the need for more toilet facilities. Fresh milk to take away straight from the cow. Friendly, chatty staff.
R. T.
Amazing place. Always have a fantastic time. Now started charging entry, which is still fantastic value and worth every penny. We've been here in every season and from glorious sun to torrential rain and it's always been a brilliant time. Been recommending here for years and will always continue to.
E. L.
The animal experiences were lovely and the staff were great with out little girl. However, we were disappointed by the number of people on site and the poor layout of the place.
K. S.
It was good an soooooo much thought time effort as gone in 2 it I love it makes me laugh xx but it was absolutely amazing brilliant last year an I will never 4get it xx they all do a brilliant job xx
R. R.
If your autistic or physically disabled its not amazingly accessible. Previously parking has been a nightmare but they seem to have adressed this through slot booking. There previously was a lack of seating, again adressed through seating in the barn. I then went to the booth where I enquired about lost gloves. Their response wasnt great but the cafe owner was amazing and found them. The Toilet where OK and knowledge of disabilities poor. Saying this the entertainment was A* and the cast was amazing. The barn as it currently is, is a Godsend. I only go during ticket events as its t he e only way to guarantee seating and access.
L. S.
Great visit. It's free to see the animals, rabbits, chickens, ducks, goat, sheep and a donkeys. Animal food is 1 pound and it has a great outdoors playground. Cake is nice and ice cream expensive but it's a nice half day trip. Can get really busy.
m. l.
visited bluebell farm today, great atmosphere and lovely staff. small areas of land but just the right amount of animals. got to feed the goats and sheep. food was nice, would’ve liked hooks on the back on the toilet doors for your bags. overall good experience, will be back soon!
K. M.
Cafe and animals are great for all the family. Nice touch that there is only a small charge for animal feed. Ice cream is delicious but can be a little bit expensive for the whole family at £1.90 each. Well worth a visit.
D. H.
Great day out. Lots of fun activities to do as well as outdoor and indoor play. Nice little cafe and the ice cream is delicious!!
C. S.
Had a lovely few hrs here on saturday 1st time with 2 grandaughters. They loved the animals and cant wait to return in the summer
W. A.
Great place to take the kids on a sunny day.
Some small animals available for them to view up close, a sandpit and the recent introduction of an enlarged cafe is much appreciated.
Bluebells ice cream is definitely worth a try and is quite famous locally.
R. I.
Very expensive £4.50 each adult and £4.50 each child then animal food on top on a weekend visit, can remember when it was free entry just a few pounds for food, then it was £3.00 per visit plus food, used to recommend won't now as its so expensive to feed a few goats and sleeping pigs . Staff are friendly and helpful though, Bluebells you have overpriced your self now. Such a shame, very unlikely to return.
S. H.
Great day out! The animals are happy and well cared for and there is a lot to see and do. Excellent ice cream in the cafe too!
S. B.
Came today on the 5th July with my little girl. She had a awesome time. And for me the staff are so polite and friendly. Defo coming again.
L. M.
Great family day out, they have special things to do throughout the day ,some cost a bit extra but most are included in the admission fee, great cafe but they provide plenty of space for you to take your own picnic, staff are friendly and most importantly the animals are very well looked after and loved, and of coarse the selection of ice cream is amazing...
K. t.
Very interactive get close an actually feed an stoke the animals friendly an pleasant staff will defernatly go again
K. H.
Xclent place, took the grand daughter...tip, book online in advance to save a bit
A. S.
Had a nice trip to see my little grandaughter was well organised with plenty of hand sanitiser and reminders re social distancing! Food was good too we will be back as didnt try the ice-cream! 👍😁
C. C.
Great free day out. The kids love the animals and it's a good play area. Lots of work has gone into modernising it lately. Only downside is how expensive the food is, but it's hard to begrudge them that when entry is free!
A. M.
Amazing experience. Friendly staff, multitude of activities and attractions with animals as the stars of the show 😊. Reasonably priced and the food is out of the world.
C. P.
Food is really expensive £6 for a sandwich £18 for 2 1/2 sausage rolls Cartoon juices £2.10 ... So take your own. Children enjoyed the afternoon pumpkin picking £5.50 entrance for children £3 each for adults to participate in the pumpkin picking etc x
g. p.
Absolutely delicious ice cream and also quite alot to do and see.
G. G.
Really nice ice cream, play area for kids and a restaurant. All very clean and tidy, staff were polite and helpful.
G. T.
Excellent ice cream! Nice petting zoo style walk, the outdoor play area is superb for children of all ages!
E. A. N. I. U. C. E.
Good ice cream little expensive, only except cash if exact amount, which I feel is little silly don't carry change.
play area very busy and overcrowded didn't bother with as too packed
J. W.
It's the first time we have been to Bluebells since they have started charging people. my little boy is under 2 but I would have been happy to pay for him also. The bouncy pillow was his favourite and the animals of course. we always enjoy spoiling ourselves to cake and tea in the cafe or a hot sausage roll dinner if we are really hungry. I will always recommend bluebells.. They really do make an effort to make you stay enjoyable and entertaining. If you're unsure about the pricing, pop along to their cafe for their wonderful homemade ice cream and cakes and then you can nosy at the play and farm area whilst you eat. :-)
V. W.
Always have the best time at Bluebells. Highly recommend.
s. c. l.
Good farm , suitable for family with children
S. T.
Brilliant value for money. Clean. Wonderful food. So much to do and very friendly staff ....
P. D.
Very nice ice cream and the animals are a nice touch. However the food is very poor, baked potato must have been cooking for several days, and reheated several times, i have never seen a liquid potato before! Salad was limp and partly rotten. Part of the order was forgotten and we were then asked to pay for it (pay on order) after we realized and went back up to the order point. Panini with cheese must have been toasted for less than 1 minute as the bread was still limp and the cheese hadn't even melted. Go for the cake and ice cream, have a look at the animals, but my advice is to avoid the hot food!

This was my first visit since the improvements and admission fee. The improvements are definitely worth the admission fee, absolutely brilliant time spent there. In the 4 hours we spent there we still didn't go around everything. Highly recommended 👍

Very nice and cute farm and the ice-cream and animals are amazing! :)

A great little free farm to visit. Excellent for young children, with a large play area. The cafe serves amazing ice cream and great food.
L. D.
Nice location & great outdoor facilities. The service wasn't great in the cafe area, we got a frosty reception when we ordered & when we complained that our hot chocolate was cold, the response was that this was because she'd left them standing whilst she made the childrens drinks.

We’ve had a fantastic day at Bluebells. Love the cow safari and little Ethel the pig 🥰 can’t wait to get lost in the maize maze again.

Went for a treat. Place waz buzzin. Loads of adults n kidz n wrinklies. Great treat for me . . . .lemon curd n coconut and lime ice cream even got to take some home. Just difficult to decide what to get. It would be a great idea if they sold some freeze/cool bags. Good for advertising there products.

Can be a nice day out, however the prices go up for special events which to always appear the special. Cafe is lovely but if busy it can be like table wars as no real organisation.

Whilst the ice cream is still amazing it is very expensive £3 per adult £3 per child for admission to the animals and children's play area (used to be free although a few new additions) which has little more than a local council park wouldn't have minded paying for children but the adult cost are ott (3 stars for the icecream)
G. B.
