Lovely tasty food and nice staff and property. Went here today after seeing it on 'rate my takeaway' and i needed some lunch. Normanton is hard to park in so bear that in mind when going. Nice friendly staff (Uzman) and a clean restaurant, its all open plan you can see how nice it all is and they have a 5 star hygiene rating. I had the No2 large hot chilli mix with drink for £7, plenty in the box i didn't think it would be much but it weighed a ton and I'm a fat git and still full at time if writing (5pm). Lots of meat on top of the noodles and rice. It was all fresh and recently prepared, it certainly tasted that way so good quality. Malaysian chicken, amazing totally perfect. Salt pepper chicken, nice but not really my thing. Noodles, nice but not really tasty, i can do nicer noodles at home. Egg fried rice, same as noodles really, nice but i can cook tastier more authentic myself. Value for money? Yes Tasty? Yes Good portion size? Yes Hard to park nearby? Yes Staff? Friendly and helpful Clean? Yes Do i want to rush back and spend my mortgage money on food? No Will i go again when i want a treat? Yes My tastes might differ to yours, but either way this is on my list to go back to again.

Tasted Great, Very fast delivery, for me maybe a little high delivery charge (2.50 on Just eat and I'm only 1m away) , But generally Great food, I'd only order one sauce option per Box as obviously it will be infused into everything. :) Unfortunately a few hours later paying 11.50 for One Tub made me order more food from some someone else, there is No value for money here the delivery charge and the Basic charge Delsolves the Value so I reflect my Score I'm Afraid...

According to the staff welcome and generosity that they made me taste a several of their most popular cuisine products cuz he asked if it is the first time to me( which you can not find it in other place) so after his recomandation I chose what I adore which is the most spicy food and after I start eating the meal ... wow that was a very nice and awesome taste. I think they are the best in their sector here in Derby. I recommend it and please enjoy the cleanly fastest service I had seen here.

I visited Oodles for the first time and I couldn’t of asked for more really, the staff where all so polite and helpful and the food was amazing. As I came in I was welcomed by a happy and cheerful staff member who was ready to take my order straight away I watched as they made my box and it was a very short wait 2-3 minutes. I sat in to eat and I also really liked the lay out of the seating all in all 10/10

First time coming to this place wasn’t really a fan of Chinese until I came to oodles. The food was made in 5-10 mins of ordering which was impressive and the food itself made me fall in love with Chinese. Lovely place for family to enjoy a nice meal. I’m very picky when it comes to getting a takeout as I look at not only the food but the service abs premise. I was hungry for Chinese so I went to oodles, I found the staff very friendly and chatty, asked about my day which was nice. They took my order and offered to bring it over to my table but I was happy to wait. The portions they gave on the chicken was very generous. Almost seeping through the box, the drink was nice and cold and the table was clean. Would definitely be revisiting this store. Thanks Oodles

The food was good, but there wasn't an ingredients list on the Deliveroo website. One of my housemates is allergic to peas, and didn't know the egg fried rice had them in. If she'd knows, we could've requested otherwise, but we didn't. Obviously, this is an issue, and she didn't notice them until after she'd eaten them. Again, the food was tasty, but I'd really recommend adding an ingredients list of what's in what, rather than just "EGG FRIED RICE" and suchlike.

After being a customer of Oodles for some time now it is with deep regret that I will no longer be giving them any more of my business. Sure, the food is great and for a place that does food. That's almost all that matters. Why am I giving this review 3 stars? Their delivery service is appalling. My most recent order for example, took 70 minutes to arrive. Upon phoning the restaurant, the blame was shifted onto the delivery driver and upon his arrival and me asking him where he has been due to how I had waited, he informed me that he had only just picked up my order from the restaurant. I fear that if I hadn't rang them, I'd still be waiting for my food. Overall, their food is good. It's just a coinflip on if it arrives in a timely manner or not.

Oodles being the 11th takeaway i rang to ask for food delivery and such great customer service .Fazeel, offered to take our order and kindly delivered to us with reassurance even on his way, letting us know how far and how long hes going to be. Food's been consistently good however the quantity seems to be less and they've gone up on the price. Cash only service, most annoying. Been going on for a while (why?). Toilet was disgusting, no toilet paper, soap dispenser broken. Automatic sanitizer outside is broken, another sanitizer bottle sitting on the counter with very sticky sanitiser. About 10 customers walked in within the hour. They seem to be doing ok, wish they would put back into the restruant a little bit.

EXTREMELY IMPRESSED. As soon as I walked in I was amazed with the interior. Really love how Oodles have done so well with the interior, unlike most Chinese restaurants. It smells clean & looks clean. I can see hygiene is very important here. The customer service was on another level! It’s sooo nice to have people that care about their food and reputation which is very rare to find these days. Everyone was so friendly, approachable, respectful & explained their menu. The customer service definitely sets the mark for me. I haven’t tasted the food just yet as I’m waiting on it. I’ve never wrote a google review but this place truly deserves it. & that’s me saying that without even trying the food. So happy to find such a place in derby! Will be a returning customer. Omg i love this place!! I order a small box for myself and because i get addicted i eat the remainder of my husbands and sons!! There is so much food in each box. Really like this place. The step by step menu is easy to follow so you know exactly what you're getting. The staff are helpful in helping you choose the spice level you want and much of the food is cooked fresh. The restaurant is clean. It's in Normanton but this adds interest I think. Definitely go back

Somewhere in the middle Food was cold, everything taste the same, no crunchiness or nutty flavour like in chinese cuisine. A lot of chilly and sause tasted like from jar. Even we have ordered mild meals it was to hot. :( very dissapointed. It should be our birthday meal and we have paid more than £25 for 2 small boxes. I have been travelling around Asian countries a lot and I love chinese, thai and any other exotic specialities. But I believe you shouldl put more effort to prepare your boxes as they have been very messy. I love the idea with boxes but food isn't the best. Thanks anyway. All the best.

Enjoyed a pleasant experience today at Oodles Chinese in derby, the staff were very friendly explaining the different foods on the menu. I do enjoy oriental style foods after my many trips to Malaysia and Singapore and I must say that this place was delicious. I ordered the Schezuan beef stir fry and the flavours taste and the aroma were outstanding. The meat was cooked well, and the spice combinations was just perfect. Will be visiting again soon, and this time will order something else.

Visited the Derby branch for the 1st time on my way to Batley. The person on the till was extremely friendly, and offered to let me taste the two different types of chicken before I placed my order. Food arrived in around ten minutes, and I have to say. Absolutely stunning. The flavours were absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to make a return journey next time. The place was also very clean, including the toilets. Keep it up guys!
