I was so happy when they made this ice cream place, right where it is my forever favourite place. There are so many different flavours to choose from and so so delicious 😋 I never thought I'll buy a bucket of ice cream but is never enough when it's soooo delicious. 😍

The ice cream was very tasty with a wider range of flavours to choose from. Having the option of a fudge stick or a flake was also a really nice option. The only thing is that the quantity was a little on the small side, but overall it was very good

We had bubblegum, marshmallow and white choc cherry ice-creams in nice waffle cones. Lovely icecream and handy self serve milk fridge . Jersey Milk very good too. Lovely to see cows the milk came from just up the road.

My favourite place..come rain or shine. Delicious jersey ice cream, butter and milk. Such lovely staff. Amazing choices of flavours. Butter is delicious. Seating down my river is lovely. Car parking is in the field only 5 minute walk if that.

Lovely ice cream but a touch on the expensive side. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful, I only wish I'd known the milk machines were cash only before we went as I had really hoped to get some lovely jersey milk. The ice cream shop do take cards but don't sell milk, the milk machines next door don't take card, cash only.

Delicious ice cream, with multiple flavours available. Plenty of outdoor space, including down to the river and the orchard over the road. Reasonable value too. You can also buy fresh milk from Jersey cows. Service can be a little slow.

Up to 16 flavours available in 1, 2 or 3 scoop (£5) and cone sizes, and tubs in the freezer for later. Of all the businesses in the world, ice cream shops must have the most smiling customers. No exception here.

I've been past a few times however with the sun shining i was in need for something ice, so decided to try them out today. Well there is an ample selection of flavours to choice from they also change a selection of flavours so there is pretty much always something new to try. The staff were excellent, the ice cream mouth watering, just got to try there milkshakes next 😋. Highly recommend if your in the area.

Some of the best Rum & Raisin ice-cream I've ever had! Lovely little stop off and exceptionally friendly staff. They also do some unusual/uncommon flavours like Party Rings, so they're worth a visit just to try something new. Be warned though, the portions are very generous and you may struggle to get through it all! We had two scoop waffle cones, and they were huge.

This place has the best ice cream in the most lovely surroundings! We managed to try a few flavours and the service was great, the staff are really friendly. We came down a couple of times last summer and will be back as soon as we can. There is so much space for kids to play and a lovely river too!

I love the ice cream from here. My go to place for a little treat for me and my little one. Unfortunately the other customers can be a little snobby but if you can put up with that then this is the place to go. Perhaps that was just a one off and you can't hold it against the hosts.

Great selection of ice creams made with jersey milk from the cows next door! The pub next door allows you to grab your ice cream and sit in the beer garden by the river. Lovely friendly staff who are great with the kids. All round little gem of a place. Well done team Cow Shack! 🍦

What a find! Yummy home made jersey ice cream . Loads of flavours, served in a waffle cone or tub, and fudge stick or chocolate flake available. The shop has access to picnic tables beside the river Idle, or in a separate grassy area. Bonus public house next door too! Also selling take home buckets, great for housebound family members not to miss out on the treat!

Fantastic ice cream, incredibly yummy! Lotus is a strong favourite! Always served with a smile and then you get to sit and enjoy your ice cream while watching the Jersey cows in their field who produced the milk to make it!

Love this place, visited a few times in summer and was never disappointed. The choice is incredible and the flavour is amazing! Bought myself a few litres tub to get through lockdown and they've just reopened operating as a takeaway service. The fact during summer you could sit and watch the cows over the river where the milk has come from means vetm minimal food miles!!! Love it. I love supporting family run small businesses and even more so during these uncertain times. They opened at the start of the pandemic and have adapted at every twist and turn. Fantastic if you ask me!!

Waited in line almost an hour as I've heard good things about this place. It sis not disappoint. Gorgeous I've cream and lots of flavours..staff work non stop and ate still very friendly.

Staff were really nice and efficient. We tried the Wagon Wheel, Lemon Cheesecake, Jaffa Cake and the classic Just Jersey. All flavours were beautiful. We will definitely back to try out the rest. 5/5 from us!

would recommend. suitable for wheelchair users and guide dog owners. they are very accommodating. we buy the milk from there and its very different to shop brought you can tastes the difference. the icecreams change weekly so i would suggest checking there fb page for upto date flavour. oscar my guide dog wishes they would do a dog friendly one because he always hopes for some but sadly dogs cant have normal icecream, the covid precautions in place work great
