The gorgeous smells of fudge freshly prepared enticed us in as we stepped through the door of the shop. We could do nothing else but choose some of the beautifully arranged slabs of fudge - such an array of wonderful flavours! - to take home. Can't wait to try them all!

The best fudge I've ever tasted. I was given some fudge by "the toffee shop" (fairly expensive) as a gift and the fudge house blows it out of the water. They offer incredible vegan fudge and the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is a must visit if you're in Edinburgh, or even Scotland.

Lots of different flavours. You simply want to try them all. They have a good deal on - 10 slices for £17. Their slices are of a really decent size. All fudge is handmade. We've tried a few so far and they're all delicious. Flavours include vanilla, chocolate rocky road, chocolate peanut butter, triple dark chocolate, strawberries & cream, butterscotch and many more. The lady that served us was very friendly and polite. We had an excellent shopping experience. Highly recommended.

Love it here. They have a wide range of different fudges. You can buy just one slab or choose multiple ones. There are also fudge cut into bite size pieces. Definitely a nice gift to bring back for your families and friends. The staff are also very professional and friendly. The location is quite hidden but it is a nice walk down Canongate.

Found this lovely wee shop by chance and so glad we did. It looks amazing from the outside and even more so when entering into the shop. Along with all the beautiful fudge that is available it makes it extra special that there is glass so u can see where the fudge is made. Good tasting fudge, in more manageable portions than at Fudge Kitchen. However, unlike Fudge Kitchen, you cannot sample the fudge before you buy. The Fudge House only ever have 2 samples on display which kinda sucks. This inability to sample retracts from the gourmet experience a fudge venue such as this one would be expected to provide. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5.

Okay, so it was my first ever experience of fudge thing, we tasted rum fudge and cococnut fudge (that were kept as tasters :p) and we also asked them that what fudge actually is? So, nice lady there, explained to us that for her fudge means milk and sugar to her, blended perfectly and flavors of choice are added... In my opinion, we Indians can equate fudge to pedas (may be) Chocolate truffle, cocunut, chocolate fundge's all were mouth-watering, tempting, yummy and morish...totally full of tastes ... Yum already!

Went there on our holiday trip and tried a few fudges. I didn't expect much since the only fudges I knew till then were those you can get in germany. But after the first bite I realised, that this is something special. They were just fresh and so tasty. Unbelievable. I fell in love with the drambuie-fudge! Sadly on our way back home we had no time left to visit the Fudge House again, so I ordered two boxes full of fudge when we were back in Germany. The boxes were delivered in less than two weeks. The Fudge house is a real recommendation if you're planning to visit Edinburgh. Especially if you're heading to holyrood park or carlton hill, but that's just because it is quite a walk and there aren't much special shops around them. They offer around 20 different flavours of fudge and we were able to taste 2 examples. They've got a special 'box price' where they don't count the weight but let you choose 10 bars for a fixed price. In the end some nice helping folks and good quality fudge for a reasonable price.
