Awesome gelato and the price is great too. Different flavors everytime I go there. Love it! Just make sure to keep cash on you. No cards accepted but who cares when the gelato is that good?

We visited Glasgow for a summer break this weekend after so many years. I remember this place having fab ice cream.I thought let's give it a try & see if it is still good. Well we popped in & all us 12 people tried it.Absolutely amazing ice cream! 11 out of 10 we rate it ! Worth the price & the customer service was brilliant.The lady in there was so friendly.We enjoyed it sooo much we went in again the next day for the ice cream.I will say it is the best so far I have had in the UK. The vanilla flavour is mourish,who ever is in Glasgow please go & give it a try.

This is certainly one of the best places that I have ever had a gelato from! The owner lady was so kind and polite. She struck a very meaningful conversation with us amidst her busy day. Her genuine nature struck me and meant so much to me amidst these tough times. Coming to the ice cream, it truly was heavenly that we actually went back for more after our first mouthful. The pricing is also cheap. I would certainly recommend everyone to try this place and can’t wait to go back when I am in Glasgow.

Was first introduced to this place by a friend who insisted that they did best ice cream in Glasgow. It was no exaggeration. They offer a wide range, including some vegan options. In addition to the usual cones, they sell tubs in different sizes for those who want to take their's home. They also do half-and-half, which is really helpful as it's often hard to pick just one. I've been many times since that first visit and never been disappointed.

Great ice cream. I dont understand why people are complaining about the prices. You can see the prices and the cup sizes before you are served. I'd like to make a suggestion that it would be great if you use tissues/napkins to pick and hold the cones as you serve instead of touching with bare hands (not only during covid). It's safer if the hands touching coins&banknotes, everything else on the counter don't hold the cones we eat 😉Thanks

Delicious Ice Cream. Years old family traditional Italian recipe. Variety of different flavours which they change regularly. We have been coming to this cafe for around 40 years. My mum didnt like any other ice cream. She said this was the best.

Traditional Cafe - went when little girl & visited recently with my grandkids - Ideally situated just before Queens Park. All the usual cone selection and tubs. Has some lovely home baking like macaroon, tablet etc on sale also - much tastier than bakers! My favourite is the ice cream drinks-try them out. Sitting area is large as area out of view from counter - lots of space - I've popped in and had a cuppa also so suits all ages. Quick service and staff patient as you decide which ice cream flavour to try. As said before been here since i was a lass - long may it stay xx

Wonderful genuine old cafe just down from Queens Park gates on Victoria road. Best roll'n'sausage in town. Great ices at reasonable prices. Old fashioned which is fantastic. Spotlessly clean with lovely friendly staff. Great place to chill,read a newspaper and enjoy Tea, coffee with a snack. Over 100 years old there are few left like it. Served by buses 4,4a,5,6 and with a short walk also no.7,7a all from city centre.

I dont choose vanilla ice cream anywhere... accept here. I dont even know what they do to it but it is hands down the best ice cream. My gran regularly drives from an hour away to get a big tub to keep at home! Thankfully im only a ten minute walk. It stays open late too which is nice :) If you dont usually get vanilla just try it here! You wont regret it!

I swear by this place. I live locally and cannot fault it in any way. Ice cream making is raised to an art form too. As with everything there are detractors. Invariably they are the kind of people who wouldn't know quality if it hit them between the eyes. To be avoided if you are the type who knows the cost of everything but the value of nothing.

I’ve read your review and find myself compelled to respond. As a local resident and repeat customer of the Queens Cafe for over twenty years I find your review offensive and completely beyond belief. The family who run the cafe are amongst the nicest people I’ve came across and more than adequate at operating their business. To call anyone “the OAP with glasses and to suggest she charged the customer before you one pound less for the same item is complete nonsense. Are you suggesting because she is older that she would make a mistake because of her age? You also mentioned the running costs of the business being “tiny”. I’m bewildered in who you would know what the running costs of a business that isn’t yours would be. You also mentioned the condition of the shop and said it was run down and hadn’t been upgraded in thirty years? Have you been a customer of this shop for over thirty years? If not how would you know? The purpose of reviews is to give an honest account of a particular business. You clearly aren’t doing so. I’ve noticed you have 17 reviews and 14 are one star? Are you what is referred to as a “online troll” or a keyboard warrior? If your taking the time to publish reviews. at least have the backbone to use your name. I also have the number of a good physiologist if you need it.

One of the last few quality ice cream makers left in Glasgow next to Valentini's in Giffnock. Sugar Rush/Big Licks/Deesserts/Waffle Monster are all okay desert parlours in their own right, however the ice cream really isn't worth it unless it's for queen's cafe or Valentini's. Queens cafe is quite a sweet tasting ice cream, with a fresh vanilla kick.
