Very disappointing, which is a shame as me and my family love Del Gelato. The table was dirty when we first came in, we got baby waffles and a cookie dough all for £18 which is quite expensive for what we got. We ordered tap water and it came warm, i know it’s free but we sent it back and still got warm water but the waiter was happy to change it and explained they had no ice. we received our waffles and cookie dough in a good time, so we weren’t waiting very long. Though when we cut into the waffles it fell in two, which i think is poor quality for the price, almost like it got stuck to the waffle machine and was placed ontop. Though i have to say, the ice cream never lets us down, it still is amazing! Just a shame how the other bits were so disappointing as it will be quite awhile until we will return. noticed how it’s gone down hill since the pandemic and had been shut, almost gone abit lazy.

Nice and cosy place but they they need to work out on their customer service. I went there with my family and we didn’t receive any warm welcome, as a server if someone walk in first thing you should do if to pay your attention to them, make them feel comfortable and take their orders. We sat there over 5 mins and nobody came to us to ask if we wanna order anything, we wife had to go to the counter to order something.

I always love the gelato from here. Great selection to choose from, polite staff and reasonable prices. Last few times I've been have been ridiculous waiting times. My family waited 25 minutes for 4 scoops of ice cream. Seriously, 4 scoops 25 minutes.

This place was a surprise, didn’t expect the gelato to be so nice! Parma Violet was delicious, as was the baked cookie dough. Prices were reasonable and the decor is cool! If your staff were happy to give-out mini taster samples before purchase, you might have gotten five stars haha. Will be back!

Would recommend! Ordered a Chocolate Cookie Dough with a scoop of ice-cream on top, it was fantastic! Family loved it and was really fast delivery! It's no doubt that it was the best ice-cream I have ever had.

Not sure if these guys have any venues elsewhere apart from Hull, but if you live or visit hull and don't try their ice cream you are wasting your life. Lol. You might want to avoid busy times as waiting times may be up to 20 minutes and you might struggle to find a place to sit. Lots of kids as well, so can be noisy. Absolutely delicious. I have tried several types of ice cream they serve and loved them all. My girlfriend love them all as well.

Our daughter has just had her birthday celebration at Del Gelato. Everything was just perfect. Staff really nice and so attentive. Finally the staff brought her a birthday cake, a birthday card and sung Happy Birthday, this was a lovely surprise. Thank you ☺

Unbelievable! Excellent for money, and you get a LOT with your order. Even down to the hot fudge. Quick service, fancy milkshakes are great and the waffles are fresh. Will go again once our diet has recovered!

Went as a group of about 12 friends. We were welcomed with a smile and friendly member of staff and served quickly. We were told that if there was something we wanted that was slightly different to the menus that we could create our own, which I did. I chose the salted toffe fudge waffles but switched the ice cream flavours for Parma Violet and Shockers. It was so delicious.

Visited Saturday before lunch with relatives. Found the seating to be extremely grubby and in need of a proper clean. The toilets were absolutely disgusting and the seat had to be cleaned before my friend could use it. We wouldn't expect the cleanliness to be this shabby so early in the day.

Nice and clean place to go for a desert, even later on in the evening! Quick service and tasty looking menu! Made a mistake with a friends order by giving him a waffle instead of a sundae, still got the waffle for free to! Cant go wrong!

Been here a few times now and on each occasion we have left stuffed. The sundaes are really nice and big, they could do with a few more flavours on their menus instead of everything being the same...mix it up a bit. Yer you can choose from different scoops but then you loose out as its a smaller container. Have a "Make your own Sundae" option on the menu. I would still pay full price for choosing 3 different flavours of ice cream in my sundae.

The best ice cream parlour I have ever visited. One small gripe is that the staff (including the manager are clueless when it comes to catering for people who suffer from allergies. Apparently even the vanilla ice cream has wheat in... Something that I have never known before and i highly doubt it to be a truthful account, moreover a blanket policy that if anyone asks about allergens simply tell them all ice cream is off limits to prevent being sued. Facilities are clean and the ice cream / sorbet is superb.

It's okay if you're in the area, but it's the weakest Del gelato in Hull. Their hot chocolates are weak, coffees milky, the gelato is decent, but the pancakes and waffles aren't great when compared to other del gelato competition in Hull. Second best being Princes avenue, and the best being Newland avenue. Worth stretching your legs for.
