Excellent service from the young employees in the shop, they look after there local, regular customers that live in Leiston. Having the hot donuts has made it very popular. The customer service is 5* always. Some of the older employees are a bit tight on the ice-cream they give out. Other than that, we will continue to recommend this place and go there weekly throughout the year. Well done to the staff and their hard work

I've been buying h&J ice cream for years, originally in Southwold. I really appreciate their 'brand', which in my eyes and experience stands for quality. Every time you you purchase an ice cream, a coffee, a churro (or even a donut) it's all really great. I really appreciate the effort the business goes to and I love that it's local to Suffolk. As I write this I'm pondering on going to the seafront to buy a bag of fresh donuts from H&J.

Lovely cafe with selection of cakes , coffees and ice-cream's , only 2 tables of 4 inside and 1 table for 4 outside , the service was good and quick . Reasonably priced , we had 4 coffees and 3 cakes for £18 , the cakes were a good size portion and very tasty , the coffees were nice and hot and the staff were polite and efficient 👍😁

Absolutely lovely ice cream and more importantly lovely people. I forgot to take photos as the ice cream was so good and frankly the kids wolfed theirs down before I had even paid for them all. I will be going back tomorrow morning for a coffee and might take home some of the many different types coffee and hot chocolate they have.

An excellent ice cream parlour. At first I though the prices were a bit on the high side, but they’re very generous with their scoops, so I think it’s still good value. I had tiramisu which was nice, but the chocolate was particularly good and very rich.

Generous, creamy and indulgent ice cream in Aldeburgh town centre served by lovely and welcoming staff. The jaffa cake one is definitely worth a try. However, I would personally recommend to go for the « plain » flavours (chocolate, vanilla, coffee, ...) if you don’t like ice creams that are too sweet.

OMG the Ice Cream and sorbet flavors are amazing. Went twice with 2 friends on a weekend break, having 2 scoop each, each time. Between us we tried 12 different flavours, all were fabulous. They also sell drinks, chocolates, cakes & savoury snacks.

There might be a queue but as soon as you taste the ice-cream you'll understand why. Many flavours ranging from the bold and innovative to old favourites but all shockingly delicious. Plus a "1 scoop" cone is invariably overflowingly generous.

Having been born in Germany, with many Italians, and having eaten proper Italian ice cream, I can honestly say that this is just as good! I whole heartedly recommend this place if ever visiting Aldeburgh. Whilst you're at it, keep making the Pistachio ice cream..... 😍

Super staff here, and dog friendly, with doggie treats in a jar! Having ordered a very nice birthday cake from H&J in Southwold, I wasn't surprised to find excellent produce in Aldeburgh, even though this shop is small by comparison. Our cockerpoo pup even loved the tub of Doggie Ice Cream, (his first) which helped ensure I got to eat my pistachio ice cream, so a win-win!
