Food: without question the very best place in Leicester for Farsan and Sweets. Location: this is a real issue which I guess is mostly outside of the owners control. However, there is no where to park and as a result access is a challenge. Wait times: being such a popular outlet has it's disadvantages. On every visit I've ever made, regardless of the day or time, the Sweet Centre is exceptionally busy. Normally, people are queueing out of the door so I'd allow yourself 30 minutes to be able to complete your purchases. Overall: this is the very best Sweet Centre in Leicester and the hassle of parking as well as the long wait times are more than worth it. The food really is that good.

My first on-line order delivered to Kent. Absolutely top quality food. Papdi ganthiya were thin, light and crispy. All the other ganthiyas and chevdos were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and I will definitely order in future when I have cravings for Gujrati snacks. I would not hesitate to recommend Aarti if you want quality food.

Awesome food, reasonably priced but they definitely loose a star for the waiting times. Always queues, and even if you phone up to collect still have to wait a while. I understand that its a small shop and they have limits but pay another staff to just deal with the collections maybe as I have seen people walk away quite often. I also ordered by phone and order wasn't ready so had to wait until was all picked when I placed the order and was told it would be ready and even called to confirm before I collected.

The best place for Indian savouries. They know how to balance the flavours. My only critique is their staff can be trained better to efficiently serve customers. I had to wait 40mins to be served and was observing staff behaviour and though they were doing their best, the lack of leadership or/and training let's the buying experience down. revisited a couple of months later and still they need to improve the queuing and serving system.

Aarti sweet centre provided the catering service for my sister's wedding and all the pre wedding functions. Right from the beginning it was a pleasure dealing with them. We were given suggestions on all aspects of the wedding menu and catering and they highlighted things in the menu we could potentially not even think of which they obviously knew from experience. All the food was absolutely deliciously with amazing service from the staff. They were very timely in terms of food delivery and got in touch with us all through the process to ensure we were in the loop with how far they had got. All the waiting staff was provided by Aarti too and I cannot fault them. They ensured every table was well served and guests taken care of. Highly recommend them

I’m quite reluctant to eat out at times, but not in this shop. Very pleased with the quality of the ingredients! This was my first visit to this place, but it won’t be the last. Will definitely go back again soon. The food looked quite fresh which is very important. Customer service was not exceptional, but good. Asked by one of the staff if I wanted to try it, but I said it’s okay. When I do go to this place again & if the quality of the food was the same, I will raise it to 5 stars.

November 2022 bought Papdi Gathia Mari they were not like their normal, they were very thick. Also taking advantage of cost of living . Increasing prices more than cost of living. Having said all that staff are brilliant.

If you are looking for the Indian savouries(Farsan), this is the place for you. Everything freshly made and you may need to wait in a queue but it really worth it. Love the products and staff is really helpful. I think it is one of the best places from where you can buy Gujarati Farsan..👍🏻

Outstanding food and great service. The best on Belgrave Road by far! We bought some Samosas, Dokras, Patras etc for our New Years get together. All of our guests complimented on how delicious the food was and asked where we had got it from. The dokra was so soft and all the food was flavoursome. You could really tell how freshly prepared it was. An absolute hit with EVERYONE! If you are on the Golden Mile then this is one that is not to be missed. 5 *****

I liked the sweet section, well balanced sugar level and fresh, I didn't like the samosas though, the filling is mashed potatoes with sugar, couple of carrot bits ? The pastry is bit crispy but dry flour after taste, cost is higher than other establishments. Could do better. Thaplas were nice.

You cannot beat this place for fresh and tasty food with an excellent choice It's always busy, and you have to queue (never ever been in with no one already in front of me) so you know everything is fresh. Don't go in when you are hungry as the wonderfull relaxed atmosphere combined with the smell of food being prepared will make you buy lots more than you wanted to ... just cannot resist the great choice. Never been served by anyone grumpy - they have very friendly and helpful staff ... it's like a big family. Fabulous!

Disappointed at the service. We placed an order for several items on Tuesday from our home in Luton for collection on Wednesday at 2.00pm. On arrival the order was not ready. The counter staff started to prepare the order but halfway through the process she took a phone call and asked her colleague to complete the order. I trusted her to prepare the order as per our list. She handed me the bag and process it for payment which I did. But the biggest error I made was to trust her to include all items ordered and therefore didn't check. On returning back from Leicester we noticed two important items were missing. This was very disappointing. This has severely undermine my testing nature.

THE GO TO PLACE for Indian sweets and savouries in Leicester. This is the place that sets the standard, and you can tell this by the constant queues of customers as well as trying the food ! A few years back it may have been Alpa or Jalaram, but they snoozed and now they definitely are gonna "lose"! They even do catering for small occasions and religious ceremonies and this is also of a great standard. Highly recommend their samosas! Enjoy!!

The snacks, mithai, ganthia are all of great and good quality however the queue just to get in because it is the tiniest place on Belgrave Road and the Masi's are all too slow. If there is a queue, no need to stay and wait in line, there are other and just as good places to go to! Aarti need to get a bigger place! This place is too hyped up. Honestly not worth the waiting.

I must say best place to get sweets and authentic savoury food. I live in london and Use to get farsan from London but from the day I tasted from Arti sweets I would rather wait for months to get it from all the way from Leicester. The shop itself is so busy that I am sure they must be making everything everyday fresh, and of course you can make it out from the taste. The Gathia here is probably one of the best I have had. The queue was out of the door and a little down the street so be prepared to wait - we went on a Thursday and it was still busy. They seem to specialise more in different flavours of Gathia (plain, black pepper and spicy) as well as different kinds of chevra. I didn't try their mithai but they do have a decent selection. Would recommend the black pepper Gathia!
