This place has been a fixture in Leicester for many, many years. An alladins cave of sweets My daughter used their website for the first time today. Her order was hand delivered within a couple of hours It may be Ye Olde Sweet Shop but the website works well, and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommended

This is such a lovely shop with friendly staff. I was looking for some particular chocolates for my Mum as a Christmas present, as the place I usually went to unfortunately closed down. I've been to this shop a few times when visiting Lecister and found the chocolates there. But what with lockdown, I couldn't go to get them as I'm not local, so I went to see if they delivered. They do have a website but the chocolates that I wanted weren't on the site, so on the off chance I wrote an email and made inquiries. The person who replied was so helpful and friendly and even took photos of the chocolates for me to make sure that they were the right ones. So we arranged a PayPal transaction and they were delivered quickly. The package smelt lovely even before opened it! It's very rare to find customer service that genuinely wants to help and is happy to do so. Thank you very much.

Ever wondered if you can still get Kali Fish, Fruit Salads, Blackjacks, Flying Saucers or Sour Apples? This is the place to come to get them! I dropped in to get some Aniseed Balls and was dazzled by the range and variety of sweets they stock, many I had forgotten about since my youth. I will definitely be back to buy some more forgotten memories from this gem from another retail era. Come here and have your memories refreshed!

Went in there last week and I was astounded, that there is still an old shop still in Leicester. Not only that but an old fashioned sweet shop that sells old fashioned sweets. The selection is unbelievable and you are spoilt for choice. The staff were brillaint the young lad and a lady where really pleasant we had a bit of banter which is always good. When I next come into Leicester I will certainly be coming in here. An authentic shop with a nostaligic feel.
