My family and I stopped here on the way home as had heard good things about it. It was so nice to try something a little different. The pork belly and duck dishes were cooked to perfection and the starts were fantastic too. Will definitely be returning.

House of Feasts is a must if your looking for a delicious lunch! We opted to sit in the garden area which is beautiful and had music playing in the background. We were greeted by the owner on arrival and made to feel welcome, the waitress was friendly and lovely, the food was a 45/10 and it was just overall a very pleasant experience. The food was half price today but I'd happily pay full price any day of the week.

Wow, what can I say. Visited here for the first time last night. Firstly, when we walked in you could just feel how great the atmosphere was. Everyone was enjoying themselves and you really felt at home. The people serving us were absolutely lovely! And secondly… the food. Well, it was absolutely incredible. The food made me smile - and it’s not often that it does! (I had the pork belly) Everything was made to order and the best food I have had in an awfully long time - maybe even ever out in a restaurant. We will definitely be coming back here, definitely our new favourite spot! An absolute hidden gem that we never would have thought was so close to us. If you’re wondering whether you should try it - you should!

The food was a sheer delight. The setting is lovely and the drinks well chosen to complement the food. I was particularly struck by the delicate, sweet and suculent pickled vegetables that accompanied my dishes and intend to give it a try in my own cooking. Unfortunately I live about 100 miles away, but any trip I can reasonably divert to eat lunch or dinner here, I shall certainly do so. A wonderful discovery and highly recomended.

We've been meaning to try HoF for a while and finally got round to it a few nights ago. The food was really delicious; starters were baked camembert and cured herring, mains were fish and chips, and spiced smoked ribs. Super tasty, great service, we would go again 👍🏼

Booked in had a beautiful Sunday roast. Tried the vegan pierogo for the first time, which was amazing. The highlight of the dish was the parsnips. Finished it off with an oat milk latté. Service was amazing they were so attentive and made sure we had a lovely afternoon. Will definitely be returning.

Went here today with about 8 of us and sat in the garden. The young waiter was very accommodating. I was hoping to have some Polish food but it was the Sunday lunch menu. Had an awesome hog roast lunch for a bloody tenner! Excellent value. Really chilled restaurant. Drinks were decent, my mate had homemade lemonade which he said was great. 10/10. Legends. Quickly shown to our table - a birthday treat for me from my family - drinks offered while we perused the menus. A varied selection of food for the adults and the two little ones. The young waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, and we did not have to wait long for our freshly cooked food. The portions were large and hot. The owner, Damien, came to our table to make sure everything was ok. It was a very enjoyable meal, and we were not rushed out after finishing our meal. On a separate visit, the service and the food were again excellent. Visit here if you can. I would thoroughly recommend it

I came from Leeds especially to try this restaurant on Saturday evening. I must say, I was not disappointed. The food was beyond my expectations! Every bite was made with absolute dedication. It has been a very long time since I've seen a chef with as much passion as Damien has for his dishes. There was no over compensating. No pompous ego dishes you get in some of the big London restaurants.. Everything served was quality.. Simple, beautifully cooked food made with the best ingredients and served with love. The way all good cooking should be. Each course was a delight. Only increasing my excitment for the next one. It felt shameful to send a single morsel back on the plate, but we went with the intention of tasting as much of the menu as we could manage. That being said, there is no scrimping on the portions. My belly pork was easily the size of a house brick and I was overjoyed with the combination of flavours, and how the meat was melt-in-the-mouth. The staff couldn't do enough to please. We were seated and served our drinks. The courses came out at the right time, leaving just enough time between to marvel at this delightful restaurant we'd found. The atmosphere was homely and inviting. The wine was quality. We saw the chef approach every table during our visit, explaining the dishes and checking on the customers. My only regret is that I live too far away to visit more often! Thank you so much for a wonderful memorable meal, and the experience that is your restaurant. If you're reading this and considering a visit.. Get it booked! Please excuse the photos.. I couldn't wait to tuck in and didn't make taking pictures my priority!

Great culinary adventure! Recommended to every fan of polish cousine and for people who want to try something new. We really enjoyed everything that we picked for menu. All fresh with great mix of tastes. Some of them might be surprising. Lovely customer service, place cosy, tidy. Music is playing not too loud. Great place for lunch and dinner. You can also buy very good bread (last picture).

Had been wanting to go and eat at House of Feasts for ages and despite my high expectations I was not disappointed one bit. This was my 5th time at the restaurant for Sunday dinner since we moved to Eye in 2017. I can say that everything food wise has moved on and improved since our last visit. The smalec was denser (this is absolutely a good thing) and the thin fat cap that tops the pot was rendered very cleanly and retained a good amount of flavour. I would have preferred more sourdough and fewer pickled veg to go with the smalec but this is personal preference. For main, I opted for the sea bass today which being a carnivore of almost legendary proportions made me feel a bit insecure, however the fish was very well cooked for my tastes with a crispy exterior from the pan but retaining a delicate flaky interior. The sweet flavour of the fish and beetroot was balanced well with the roast potatoes, i will be putting that combination together at home in the future. My personal preference with the fish would have been to have a very crispy skin as it not only makes for a contrasting texture but also makes it easier to cut/snap the skin with the flesh of the fish. For dessert i had the smoked chilli chocolate mouse. This was incredibly rich and flavourfull but the chili was difficult to pick out, when i could detect the chilli, the smoky flavour came through really well. My son had a childrens portion of the slow roasted pork, this was delicious and since he is only 3 had to be 'helped' to finish but he clearly enjoyed it as he ate more than he usually would at home. I would have preferred some more meat reduction with this dish but i did not ask for any as i did not think my son would make it through his full portion and it would go to waste. Being a foodie, it is amazing to have a place like house of feasts within walking distance and i'm sure you will have to travel far to find this style of food being done at this level. Locally, we have now tried all the restaurants and takeaways in Eye as well as quite a few in the Peterborough area and this is by far the best quality food and worth a visit.

Very welcoming ,nice environment , spotlessly clean. Only one member of staff serving ,she coped as more people arrived. We had coffee and cake, unfortunately didn't rate cappuccino at all,cake really good !! I think overall it was very expensive for what it was,nearly £18 for tea ,coffee and 2x cake. Also didn't like music blaring out while trying to talk. I would probably go again,maybe for meal instead.

I booked the restaurant for my 40th birthday. A nice cosy restaurant, with great atmosphere and service. Straight away Damian, who’s in charge of the restaurant , made us feel welcomed! He was so polite and kind, made us feel completely at ease. His communication was out of this world- would highly recommend. He is simply outstanding and made us feel very special and enhanced our entire birthday night experience. The food was absolutely incredible! When each meal arrived at our table, it was like it was plated by an artist, each plate was a work of art! I honestly can’t think of one little thing wrong. The food was outstanding. First visit for A Sunday Roast last week. Wow what can I say, flavour in every bite. The beef fell apart and was cooked to perfection. The pork Pate was delicious with Homemade Sourdough bread so much so that I asked to buy a loaf to take home. Finally the Polish cheesecake was lovely and light and a great way to finish an amazing dinner. Damien and the Team were very welcoming. This will be my new Sunday Dinner Venue 🥰

Over two days we've tried a regular dinner, breakfast as well as a roast dinner and in short we were not disappointed. The biggest disappointment of it all was the first meal - steak tartare. The pieces of meat were way too big and therefore chewy and there was not bread until we asked for it. Also, I wasn't a fan of the half cooked egg yolk. The service on our first night could've been better too. Luckily both of our main courses were great and the side of curried gherkins was incredible. I even bought some to take home. The breakfast next day was excellent too. The chef agreed to make a pastrami sandwich for me as a breakfast dish which was very kind of him. The only disappointment from the roast dinner was that they run out of pork belly but that's our own fault for arriving late. The live music was very enjoyable. Overall I'd definitely recommend this pub/restaurant.

Sensational Dining Experience! We have had a dinner for two at House of Feasts, we just can not say it enough about their smalec, sourdough breads and leg of duck! Dessert pear with surprise, was perfect finish to this culinary journey. Every single bite was a hit of different flavours. Its only matter of time, when they will receive michelin star! Definitely best restaurant in Peterborough area and miles ahead of their competition. Good luck and we will be back soon!

We visited as a family with 2 children. Great menu and added bonus that they had an offer on for kids to eat free. We tried the peirogi which was delicious and a very good size portion. The chocolate brownies were yummy. They also have a lovely garden if we ever get a nice weather to enjoy it. We will be back.

Amazing outdoor area, both covered and open-air are available with ample seating. Unique menu with some lovely options for lunch, great for all the family. The pulled pork bun was huge and delicious too! Great service and quality food. Awesome spot!

On Sundays the menu is a little more limited, although the meals we had were delicious. Service was friendly, the red cabbage was particularly delicious, and the crackling on the pork roast excellent. The vegetarian option is pierogi, which I'd expected to come with the usual cream and onions, but it came with all the trimmings from a roast. It was good, just a little strange!

Somewhat overselling itself. Followed them on Instagram prior to visiting and was really looking forward to it. The starter of baked Camembert was very nice though only by chance did the waitress ask how many we wanted in a way that suggested it would be more suitable sharing dish than individual starter - the menu didn’t really give any indication of size. Nor was the menu the same as the one mentioned on Instagram as the new evening menu, which was a shame, though the reason given for this seems to be supply issues (stock response from reading other reviews on here). Mains were nice but not above average in my opinion. My companions had the special (duck) and I had pierogies… all was perfectly adequate but not ‘wow’. Think perhaps that the positive reviews in the past might have gone to the restaurant’s heads with their requirement for card details to book table etc. lends itself to the impression that it’s a ‘must try’ destination when unfortunately it fell a bit short. Wouldn’t want to put anyone off of going but maybe to adjust your expectations. Might try again when they’ve sorted their supply issues but wouldn’t travel out of my way for it otherwise.

I ordered a Christmas package for a traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner. Food was delicious, so well prepared with quality ingredients. Like back home in Poland or maybe even better. Package arrived via courier (next day delivery), all items perfectly packed in food boxes, vacuum sealed packs and extra wrapping. The interior was clean. We had a lunch menu and i was disappointed that there wasn't a starter menu, although the waitress said we could make a smaller portion for a starter if we wanted. I had the pierogi sauerkraut which was nice. No dessert menu was offered, but they were busy, and we'd asked for the bill before the waitress returned. so we went to the local Starbucks for coffee and muffins.

I love this place. Great food and great staff. The owner is a legend too (no I’m not the owner ;)). They’ve started taking non-refundable deposits now but after seeing the no shows and cancellations during the pandemic I fully support that. We need to support our local independent venues to survive during this time so I think it’s only fair really. Can’t wait to go back.

I booked this restaurant under the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. It was the only restaurant that had a booking earlier than most. I then had some qualms because as soon as I scanned the menu on their website, I was wondering if there would be anything I would actually like to eat there! My worries were totally unfounded! There were very 'British' dishes, but there were some authentic, rustic dishes on the menu that both myself and my husband chose to eat. We concentrated so much on the main meal, we both completely forgot about the side dishes, which my husband would have benefitted from, but we shared the tastes of each main meal & enjoyed them both. The welcome from the whole team at the restaurant was warm, welcoming & very relaxed & Damian & the kitchen team's skills & expertise in the creation of our dishes was just lovely. I had the duck with pearl barley & my husband enjoyed the salmon with beetroot, followed by poached pear with orange & raspberry syrup & the chocolate mousse with ice cream & (I'm sure it was described differently on the menu!) candy floss!. The restaurant had a great ambience, both inside & in the garden. The experience was well worth the 'punt'!

Poor service today. Wrong order received twice! A couple on another table also received an incorrect dish (it was offered to us first). My wife unfortunately found a hair in her main......we then left quickly, disappointed and unlikely to return. We have visited before. Food was good, but frequently found dishes not available. The place itself is nice. Looks clean. In the front there is a counter with yummy pastries, bread (if available) and other chilled products. That was ok.i did not buy anything. We had a booking on Saturday evening and when we arrived we had to wait quite long to be seated not because of queue, just nobody was looking after front door. Finally, we have been seated in the garden. Very nice, spacious, however the back end looks forgotten and need tidying up. After half an hour of waiting for waiters we did order drinks finally. But we did not received a drinks menu, so we were guessing our choices. Then couple of main dishes were unavailable and draught beer run out! Food was served in parts. Did not came the same time. The distance from garden to kitchen is too long for one waiter. The food was just OK. No starters and not desserts either. Poor choice of dishes really.

I've been really looking forward to trying out House of Feasts the last couple of months and I have not been disappointed. I managed to get an early afternoon booking which was good considering they were prepping for a live music evening same day. I had the pulled pork brioche bun and my partner had fish and chips. Both were delicious, really generous portions and great value for money. I'll definitely be coming again.

It's a GEM! Oh what a fantastic place - ! I'm so glad we've found it. House Of Feasts is a really great place to eat. Lovely staff and best of all the FOOD! I love that they serve Polish cuisine with a twist, also with French or Asian influence but also if you fancy a traditional Sunday roast you'll get it there, however elevated to a more refined meal, which ticks all the boxes for me. The food is always fresh! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated in a rustic, shabby chic style. Can't wait to go again!

This place will get a Michelin star, and it will get one (or more) soon - you read it here first! Everything from warm welcome on the door to customer service, presentation, and - of course - quality and taste of food is well above one's expectations. Hidden in a small village near Peterborough, you wouldn't expect this restaurant to be such a hit - but it is! Serving authentic Polish food, but with an original twist to make it really appealing for all, Damian and his team are the best ambassadors of the Polish cuisine one can hope for. By all means, do go there - even if it means you have to go off your beaten track or travel to Peterborough just for this. It's worth it.

We have been twice now and both times the staff have been very friendly, attentive and always with a smile. Regularly asked if everything is ok and do we need anything. Even the boss is cheerful and talks to you. We have just had the duck on a bed of pearl barley risotto with beetroot side salad absolutely georgeous didnt want it to end. One small criticism is the slight delay in bringing the meals out. We were in a party of 8 and by the time the last persons meal was brought out the first person had nearly finished. I would highly recommend house of feasts as they go out their way to provide good food and good service

Tiny menu (4 Manis) not helped by the fact that an item wasn't (beef stew) on there. Pierogis were great, all else so so including the coffee which was thick like Turkish although not meant to be. Went to house of feasts last night to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday. Must say the staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. the menu was explained fully and food was lovely. Drinks a bit pricey but all in all we had a thoroughly good night .

Was looking forward to picking up some breakfast and bakery here as it sounded amazing. Unfortunately I followed the Facebook page open times and got here at 08:15 this morning - it isn't open. WOW! Me and a worked colleague stopped in here and had the BBQ Pulled pork rolls and they were incredible so good infact we went straight back in to try the pastrami sandwhich. Warm welcome as soon as you get in the door aswell would 100% reccomend you try here if u havent already.

Fantastic traditional Policy cooking with modern execution. The tartare of aged beef was so flavourful and the Hong Kong style pork belly so tender. Finished off with a homemade baked cheesecake with a red berry compote. We came all the way from London for this and it was definitely worth it.
