I’m gonna be honest, the bagels were a disappointment. The bread tastes extremely plain, the salmon tasted old, the Mexican chicken did not have a good flavour. I will say the desserts and slushies are absolutely delicious. The prices are great too, for the bagels I wouldn’t come back again, for everything else definitely.

Been going to bagel Kings for yearsss. My experience today however was one of "did they change chefs" the juices use to be nice and now they taste watered-down. My partner was not impressed with his oxtail and rice and peas, he said the rice tasted half cooked, had no coconut milk. The only thing that we enjoyed was apple crumble and custard. Please go back to the old chef of atleast 5 years ago. Feel like we wasted our money.

We travelled from far in the cold and rain for the world-famous Bagel King apple crumble, and it did not disappoint! So good, in fact, that a rebranding to Crumble King would be justified. Served hot with custard, the crumble was rich but light – we comfortably polished off our generous portions (including my fellow patron who is actually allergic to custard). Service was quick and friendly. If I had to constructively criticise Bagel King, it would be for a lack of stand-/sit-in space and a particularly meaty savoury menu. Perhaps customers aren’t demanding it, but I’d have hoped to see more veggie options. Couldn’t see kombucha on the drinks menu either – a kombucha slushy could be a game changing addition!

A long time attendee to this here establishment. It was usually the go to place after a night out. However I think they've dropped in quality. Its hard to quantify but in my opinion they have gone down the high volume lower quality route. Example, the apple crumble used to taste almost homemade. Now its clearly out of a box. There's also a similar place up the road, across from the McDonald's selling the same stuff 24hr. I now go there. Edit: Reply to their response. I've been going to your shop since the early 2000s, I think I'm in a good place to say. Your shop has been around far longer than covid 19. I just decided to review it after going there recently after a while. Take it as constructive feedback.

My favorite place in London for eating bagels. They not only have a huge variety of bagels, but also opened 24 hours. Nice food, chicken in a bagel tasted delicious. The apple crumble was delicious too and very filling for me. I also had it with a slushy. All together it was cheap and tasted really good. There is a long queue but it's not too bad since the staff are doing everything really fast. There is no place to sit so you have to eat in your car or at home. The other good thing is that it's open 24/7.

Decent food for a 24hr place. Bagels could be better, but aren’t bad. I recommend the jerk chicken bagel. The salt beef bagel sometimes tastes a bit stale to me. Be a little cautious if going late at night/very early morning as the surrounding area sometimes has some issues which have occurred very close.

Really don't know what the fuss is about. Jerk chicken was nice, but bagel had basically been microwaved. Cold bagels were stale and a bit underwhelming on the whole. Give it three stars because it's quite cheap.

This place is nothing short of the word EPIC! Definitely gets a legendary status from me. Firstly, I have to make a public apology to my grandma because apple crumble doesn't get better than this place. Whoever came up with the recipe deserves a promotion! I grew up in a jamaican household and their Jerk chicken bagel with cheese and sauce is... *insert happy tears emoji*. Just try it people and get some plantain too they don't play with their portions! Slushie was superb. I personally didn't like the Sorrel & Ginger and the pineapple punch was ok. I can't knock these guys on that though because everything else was OUTSTANDING! Hope to try the Guinness punch next time. You'll definitely see my face again, thank you very much. I was one satisfied customer and still am. P. S Someone mentioned a dry bagel in a previous review. I figured out what must of happened... The bagels are so good that obviously the delivery man ate the bagel from bagel King and gave you one from the local supermarket. I would most likely do the same and that why I don't do takeaway deliveries 🤗. That's all folks.

It’s a really popular place, where is always crowded with hungry people. I ordered one minted lamb, and it tasted a little too sweet to me. The taste is too strong so that I couldn’t feel my cheese. I’ve never try this style. Actually, I expect that is salty flavor. Anyway, staffs are really nice👍

Been coming here, to get lunch for work, or a snack on my way home from a night shift. During Ramadan as sehri/suhoor. It's versatile because of the open always attitude. The quality of the food is something I have always relied on during my visits. Because I know what to expect I can account for my next meals. I enjoy coming here. It's cheap, value for money and good good food. The staff are on job. Commendable. I honestly think if it weren't for Bagel king then South London would be dead. Great value bagels and good price. A huge variety of toppings and combinations offered along with desserts such as custard and cake. Custard is Ambrosia brand and they give you a generous portion which is always great. Can't fault it, 5/5.

Bagel king Jerk chicken bagel with cheese - £3.50 So I went and grabbed a bagel from @bagelking247 at 8am to have at lunch during work . Went for my favourite bagel , the jerk chicken bagel with cheese ( costs £3.20 without cheese ) it came with barbecue sauce but I also asked for hot chilli sauce . It's a very simple bagel with loads of flavour . The bagel itself has a good texture and flavour . The jerk chicken is packed full of flavour and has a good level of heat . The cheese is a nice thick slice which is similar to mozzeralla cheese but goes very well with the rest of the flavours . I would highly recommend this place especially if you have never had a bagel before. They are open 24/7 ,yes 24/7 went there at 2am once and saw them bring out a fresh batch of jerk chicken. They have loads of different flavours to choose from and also sell freshly baked cakes with custard .The variety is endless .

Bagel King has been around for a long time and I can say they are still going strong. When you need some hearty food for the soul and had a long night out. Food range from bagels with choice of filling, to patties and coco bread ( actually what I had), chicken and much more. Drink ranging from Slushies, Cans, Peanut punch and more. And let's not talk deserts, apple crumbles with or without custard, cakes (carrot, vanilla, chocolate, lemon ect). Open 24 hours, the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because there are no toilets.

I mean, its Bagel King. Never a quiet moment, always happy with what I buy (apple crumble and custard, slushy, crab stick bagel to name a few). Usually abit of a struggle to make my way to the front to be served amongst all the tall people (I'm a shorty) whom may I add come in after but manage to dominate and get served first...its part and parcel of the "experience" you just know its gunna happen and still you go back again for more. Must say tho, if the staff notice you have been waiting a while they make it a priority to come to you next, regardless of the man dem who think they can come in shout "boss, boss" in order to place their order.

I've been coming into Bagel King for over 15 years. The queues in here at times are horrendous, that's if you can call it a queue. Service is usually quick but unless you get the attention of a server an inconsiderate person will order before you if you're not quick. The apple crumble and custard is legendary and a pattie and coco bread will fill you up for a whole day.

Damn near world famous! People come from far and wide to this place. It's called Bagel King but these guys can fix you up pretty much anything. My personal favourite is Apple Crumble & Custard or Banana Cake & Custard. It's open 24/7 And I mean 24/7!!! Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, you name it. It's more of a take away situation as even tho there's a couple of seats it's not enough for masses of people that frequent this spot, Especially after a hard nights raving. There is limited parking but people generally park anywhere, especially in the evening. I highly recommend it. It's 1 of the 7 wonders of South London.

24 hour bagel shop that has been running for years. Historic for Londoners. Selling a range of food from simple cheese bagels to jerk chicken, akee & saltfish or bbq chicken bagels. You can pick up bun & cheese, rice & peas and patties too. BK sells desserts... apple crumble or cake and custard, slush puppies and more. Whether 5am after a party or 5pm after work, BK will provide. Be mindful as they tend to be very busy, however they serve very fast so a short wait.
