i got the chinese crepe and taiyaki octopus balls. The crepe was really nice and big. The balls were a bit too sweet as he did put a lot of sauce but still nice. There was only one man working so you had to wait a bit but it wasn’t too long plus you got to see him make it which was really nice.

We were attracted to this place which was practically obscured by bubble tea customers in the alley, when we saw through the glass front what was being cooked.
I particularly liked the crepes.
And loved the pork buns which are competitively priced.
The café serves Chinese Street food and does some good deals of snacks and bubble tea packages.
Some seating are available upstairs over the kitchen.
The prawn balls were a bit disappointing (only a tiny shrimp in egg mould).
I didn't try the octopus balls in fear of not getting much out of it.
Great place for quick snacks. But for the crepes I would still try Lemon Tree next door.

We tried:
Mango bubble waffle 🥭
Matcha and red bean bubble waffle
Teriyaki octopus balls🐙
Original Bubble Tea🥤
Steamed Bao Buns (chicken, pork and vegetarian)
.
They have some super amazing deals going on such as Bubble Waffles for £5 or octopus balls with Bubble Tea for only £5 as well 🤩
My favourite were the octopus balls which were SO full of flavour. The bao buns we had were the biggest ones I’ve ever seen (bigger than my hand probably 😁) and very flavourful too.
The waffles were nice but would appreciate some topping on top apart from the ice-cream.

A nice small shop in an alley in central london. The service was slow, since there was only one person taking the order. But the food was alright, plus I got the combo meal, which had the Takoyaki and taro bubble tea for 5 pounds. So In terms of price it was alright. Definitely worth a try once, and make up your mind as to whether youd go visit again.

I really just come here for the Chinese crepe. It is so delicious. They also have a range of refreshing desserts. They make the crepe in front of you as well!

The dessert is tasty and there are lots of variety on the menu, the price is reasonable, I would recommend this cafe if only talking about food. But this cafe is quite small, we had 5 adults and 1 child and the table is very small and squashed to fit 6 of us. I didn’t see a bigger table there. When asked if we could sit upstairs as there might have more spaces, the waiter replied brutely that we couldn’t, it wasn’t opened! I would say the service wasn’t very impressed in this cafe.

Pricey, small but the desserts were good. Ginger milk dessert could really taste the ginger the spheres something was pleasantly not too sweet.
If it was not so expensive, I would have given 4.5 stars

This place has such authentic flavors in desserts and drinks! Not sure why it has such a low rating.
I got the super fruit tea with boba and it was DELICIOUS. Words can’t describe how refreshing it was on a hot summer day! I got both black and white boba, along with passion fruit seeds. After the tea was finished, the cashier gave me a fork to pick out the fresh watermelon, kiwi, and strawberries. Super impressed with this drink.
My friend got the Durian Milk Oolong Tea with black boba, she loved it too! Its rare to find durian flavor on the menus, so we were absolutely thrilled with our choices.
After lunch, I will be coming back for more desserts.
I see that many reviews complained about the service. Being a Mandarin speaker, I was able to communicate directly with the staff. I can understand if others can get frustrated. However, the product should speak for itself, absolutely delicious !

Try the Chinese Crepe it’s the best in London! This guy makes everything by hand in front of you. It’s a bit slow but worth the wait. Best thing to eat in china town!
H. G.
To be fare it's decent despite the fact it could be quite slow as it is always one man show but you better get takeaway and only visit when there is no Queue to avoid disappointment

New dessert Hong Kong dessert place in Chinatown. Wide selection but quite stingy with the mango as quite a big difference with the image. Reasonable service but I know a few other places I would choose over this one.

Food
The peanut ice that we got was really nice and creamy. It was also a decent portion size unlike what my friend ordered.
Service
The girl servicing our area was a bit rude and pushy. She even rolled her eyes at us when we said we needed a few more minutes and rushed us out when they were near closing time.
Ambience
It was nice in a new part of Chinatown. Word of warning, the place smells of durian.
Price
A bit pricey for the portion sizes for some dishes.
L. N.
Overpriced, inattentive service, cash only.
There's much better places for shaved ice and tapioca desserts in London.

Was craving for some Chinese dessert and just walk in to this little cafe in Chinatown. Surprisingly it is so good, matched crepes is awesome not sweet at all. Definitely a must try.
-. N.
yummy matcha snowdae (shaved milk ice). server was quite unfriendly but overall a pretty good experience.

Decent place for Chinese/Japanese snacks and desserts. No outdoor seating at this venue as of April 27th 2021. Takeaway only.
The main attraction of this place versus other joints in Chinatown was the fact that they have a £5 value deal. 4 pieces of Takoyaki (6/10, decent) with either a Taiwanese style fruit tea or boba milk tea. Average. If you want good Takoyaki, go somewhere else. If you want good tea/boba, go somewhere else. If you want a good deal, go here.

I had a bingsoo with my friend on summer and it was good enough. However they served another kind of Bingsoo with lack of milk. The visual and size is appealing. The cafe itself was nice and cute.

The taro ball is a must to try. This place doesn’t accept card so be prepared with your cash.

We had to get the attention of the worker for him to take the order, but the desserts were good. Though the wait time was a bit long it was reasonable as there was only one worker, he worked really efficiently for the number of orders and the huge range of the menu.
M. R.
Not bad desserts, pricey.
Cash only.
Comfy seating area.
no toilets.

The mango Bubble waffle was good and not expensive.
P. S.
The most amazing mango Ice cream 😍😍😍😍 in Soho, London. Share with a loved one!

The waitress were very nice and kind, even though one of them was learning english and didn't know much. The strawberry milkshake is the best that I ever tried, good price and feels like you are not in London but in China. The decoration is superb, we need more places like this.
M. L.
I got the oolong tea topped with durian milk with tapioca balls and it was AMAZING. The only thing was the oolong flavor was a little lost, but it was just the right amount of sweet and tasted great. The tapioca was cooked well, nice and chewy. The server couldn’t speak English very well but that wasn’t a problem for us. Yes it was very pricey (8gbp) , but durian oolong milk tea is so rare that it was worth it to me.
T. R.
Service is a bit slow due to the one man show but decent value for money. Takoyaki is smaller portion than what you would normally get at most places.

Good desserts, drinks are ok but its but a tad pricey

Handmade chinese/asian style snacks cafe

Not all drinks were cold as we expected. The flavours of the drinks, smoothies and ice cream were okay though.
The whole place smelled like durian. Eventually the smell become less strong till I don't notice it anymore.

Excellent pitstop for a "jianbing" (Chinese savoury crepe) filled with dough stick, egg, spring onion and spicy fermented sauce. Just like I remember from the street vendors in Beijing! Highly recommended.
J. B.
You can get Durian flavoured ice cream and smoothies here. Durian has such a fantastic and interesting taste. There is a plastic Durian in the window. They play cool Chinese music and it's full of Chinese people at the weekend. It's very clean inside and there are cute teddys on each table. The menu is expansive and pretty.
R. L.
I came here for the durian desserts because I love durian!! We had the durian shaved ice one, and it was so good. I will definitely be coming back to try the other desserts!

(Translated) I feel very good, I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. The white fat Q bomb Q milk tea rice ice, chewing the bullet does not lose the taste of the pearl, but also healthier than the pearl, super like strongly recommended! !

我觉得很好吃,不知道为什么这么多差评。那白白胖胖 Q弹Q弹的奶茶饭冰冰,嚼的弹度一点都不输珍珠的口感,而且又比珍珠更健康,超喜欢强烈推荐!!

(Translated) In fact, I think it is quite delicious. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. We ordered peanut ice, chocolate egg, black rice coconut milk and a taro dessert, which are delicious and not particularly sweet. The service is slightly inferior to the UK, and it can only be paid in cash, but the taste is OK. Four desserts are ordered, and the per capita consumption is £8.5.

(Translated) We ordered a matcha bubble waffle.
Dessert was good but did not meet expectations. The ice cream was green tea but not the Gauffre itself which, according to the photo, should have been.

Nous avons commandé une bubble waffle au matcha.
Le dessert était bon mais ne correspondait pas aux attentes. La glace était bien au the vert mais pas la Gauffre elle même qui, sur selon la photo, aurait dû l'être.
