Reviews of Chin Chin Labs (Chin Chin Ice Cream)
E. B.
First time trying this place. I had a marshmallow waffle cup with vanilla ice cream and chocolate fudge sauce. My friend had chocolate ice cream with pistachio and cardamom. It was lovely, fairly reasonably priced. Only a few tables inside to sit at. Staff were reasonably friendly. Would deffo recommend to ice cream and desert lovers!
S. B.
Visited just to try the hot chocolate with Marshmellows. The store is tiny with around 4 small tables for seating. The hot chocolate is thick, not very hot, the Marshmellow is very very sweet,a bit messy to eat. Next time I would try other things on menu as I don't think the hot chocolate is the best.
E. R.
Delicious desserts with options for vegans. Their ice-cream are made using liquid nitrogen on-spot which makes it quite interesting to watch. The prices are little steep but the taste is fine. The staff are friendly and there are tables to sit and eat. I have been here couple of times and have enjoyed their sweet treats a bit.
M. H.
Marshmallow Hot chocolate.
Suitable for vegetarians.
Sweet and silky hot chocolate, soft and buttery marshmallow.
Very sweet, we shared one, too sweet to have one to yourself.
K. S.
Supposedly, London’s best hot chocolate? @chinchinicecream
We haven’t tried them all yet but it’s certainly up with one of the best that I have ever had 😍
The perfect thickness of real melted chocolate. Not too thick and not too thin and then that torched marshmallow on top was just so incredible… especially when you mix it in 🤤
I thought it could have been a hype job but it really delivered 😍
N. A.
I tried the hot chocolate with the marshmallow. It’s their speciality. The hot chocolate was good but I’m not a huge fan of marshmallow so it was way too much for me. Fun to try though! The hot chocolate was good. Fun place.
S. T.
I was in heaven! I had the cookie sandwich with vanilla icecream and the pistachio /cardamom crumbs. Good Lord! So delicious and the cookie just crumbled. So soft and gooey. I would definitely go back again
A.
Its a Different Experience....I feel for a Ice Cream shop could have been more varieties of Flavours.....but what they is yummy though.....its Coffee Desert Shop but their Wafel Biscuit base is something nice and filling....will drop by if I pass by to try out their other limited varieties
K. S.
Best place ever! As an ice cream addict I can say this is the BEST ice cream, hand made! Ricardo's suggestions helped us to have the most amazing ice cream experience. He's a master! And the nicest guy in Candem. You can also try the coffee. BTW, I've tried the chocolate (ohhhhhh my), banana (beautiful), vanilla (unbelievable) and apple (unforgettable)... I need to move to this place. I've cream is my favourite food, now more than ever! Thank you so much Ricardo! You're the best, a legend!

CUTE CONCEPT
I follow Chin Chin on Instagram so I was desperate to come to Camden and try it for myself. Service was quick despite it being busy and I was able to get a seat too. The stripped back interior is very in trend and it fits the theme, just could be a bit bigger. After a lot of deliberation, I went for the vegan griddled cookie dough with hazelnut ice cream and strawberry chocolate. Amazing combo, would recommend. Good portion size and is great value for money. Only wished I had honeycomb as I saw it afterwards and it looked LENG
M. T.
Cute desserts, quite sweet but still quite a nice cocoa flavour from the hot chocolate.
Very few seats indoors so expect to stand outside to eat.
Z. K.
The best ice cream I've had in a long time fully exceeded my expectations the flavours are amazing not one bit too sweet or sickening was absolutely amazing I'll definitely be back for my cherry and caramel pies !!
M. A.
We went out with friends for coffee and ice cream. The parlour at camden market. Its a perfect spot as its in the middle of the market and covered place too.
Chocolate ice cream is dark one so it more bitter them sweet side. If you like dark chocolate than this is the right place to come. Even their hot chocolate is to die for agin more on dark side then milk one.
They also serve sundaes, ice cream sandwich, hot brownies and many more. The place is so tempting I would again to try other ice creams.
The only thing they have only three tables so you would lucky to get a spot
R. C.
The ice cream is made to order at Chin Chin using liquid nitrogen. You choose the type of ice cream you want, the flavour and toppings and then watch it being made, and it is quite fun to see the clouds billowing out from the liquid nitrogen. You also end up with great tasting ice cream with a really smooth texture.
Y. M.
Would of been 5 star however we had a hair in our hot chocolate which was discovered half way through apart from this it was delicious and would return
D. A.
When I searched for best dessert places in London, Chin Chin was highly recommended. It definitely did not disappoint. Fast and friendly service from Anisa and Dom made my visit even more memorable. I had the marshmallow waffle cup with Tonka bean ice cream. It was AMAZING🤩 I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you Anisa and Dom.
E. V.
Epic poems should be done to this place, the ice cream is handmade there, we were lucky enough to watch them make it as we ordered them. After eating them we had to order another round. The service it's top notch, Ricardo couldn't be more friendly.
The only problem I have now is that my gf wants to move to there.
Thanks again Ricardo for everything!
P. K. L.
The best hot chocolate experience in London. Sweet, but not so tangy hot chocolate topped with a sweet and foamy toasted marshmallow with excellent service. At a reasonable price also. Great for dessert.
H. H.
Amorino? Mamason? Gelateria? Kaspas? Snowflake? Are they good? Yes. But dare I say Chin Chin is better than the lot? Yes. Was wondering how they made their ice cream so smooth until they told me that they used liquid nitrogen to make theirs. Had their cookie dough with a vanilla ice cream, didn’t disappoint. Special mention to their friendly staff; Ricky, Domingo and Junaid. Very friendly and informative. Definitely coming back.
C. D.
First time visit and I wasn’t quite sure what to get but their kind staff Julia was very helpful recommending their most popular desserts. I followed her recommendation and got the warm cookie dough and it was beyond delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
M. D. M.
The staff were so friendly and fun to talk to! We loved the ice cream, brownie and cookie we had. And the hot chocolate went so well with it.
So so so good and it didn’t felt as heavy as other sweets.
J.
My partner and I shared the signature hot chocolate, it was delicious. I thought it may be too sweet, but it wasn't, I wish we had got one each! Service was really fast and people respectfully waited at the door so not many were inside at once. Highly recommend.
I. D. I. L. U.
Travelled from Yorkshire to come to Camden market, and there was only place that kept being recommended by all, ChinChin labs! We tried the signature hot chocolate, waffle cone, and ice cream with marshmallow fluff.
Everything was brilliant and delicious!
A special thank you to Ben, Domingo, Ricardo and Junaid who were amazing when we accidentally spilled out first hot chocolate, and brought us another one straightaway with no hassle!
Thank you all of you, we will certainly be back again to visit 😍
A.
Let me tell you wag1, ice cream is fire, so is gelato stuff is smooth and creamy, but let me tell you when I had that first scoop it was the smoothest s**t ever, I had the vanilla whatever special variation it was of vanilla and my boy had chocolate we both had grilled white chocolate which despite being named so I didn't not see a single grill which did hurt abit on the inside, but yo the geezer that served us short guy(no offence to my bro, his still a short king) I go how'd you lot make this cus it called grilled white chocolate he goes dunno(fair enough) so I said to him cus it London I thought mandem here made some new creation with their grilling so what does my short King brother do pullout the blowtorch and say you want me torch it. Come on ya boy said ye.
Great geeza, fire super smooth and surprisingly flavourful icecream(most Icecream very 1 dimensional don't @ me but this was like a Triple H and Shaun Michaels tag team just wow )
T. Y.
Fantastic experience. Had a sticky toffee pudding with burnt caramel ice cream, topped with Hazelnut 'sand'. Roughly £6. Would advise coming here after you've eaten at the various Camden food stalls. RECOMMEND.
R. P. Q.
Awesome fresh ice cream! Very efficient & friendly service! I think it’s on the pricey side but it’s something you would like to try. 😇
H. (.
This is such a quirky little shop with a laboratory/Willy Wonka vibe, with the mini-factory setting that’s set up within the shop.
I got the cookie dough with nitro ice cream and the flamed marshmallow with hot chocolate.
The cookie dough with burnt caramel ice cream and black truffle was absolutely delicious - its texture and consistency was beautiful as it was evenly cooked, gooey and melted in your mouth, with the ice cream that complimented it well.
However, the hot chocolate was very watery and basic, and the marshmallow was far too excessive - overly thick and sickly sweet, which couldn’t be finished. If it were a thin layer or lighter consistency, then it could have been finished.
The pricing was decent given the locality. I would definitely return for the cookie dough and nitro ice cream if I’m around town. 7/10.
D. A.
Nice job in terms of marketing/advertising. The ice cream it's good but nothing special for that price you can have much much better options
S. M.
I've sampled both the hot chocolate and the ice cream. Both are worth a visit. They look great and taste better. The Hot chocolate is very rich - we shared 1 between 3 and that was fine. A sample but not too much. Don't think we could have handled 1 each. Fyi the hot choc is more of a dessert than a drink as can only really be eaten with a spoon.
P. S.
You might think it's a bit gimmicky, and it kind of is, but there's no arguing that the ice-cream is great. The flavours could be punchier, but the texture is still incredible and the toppings are better than almost anywhere else. That said, the price matches the quality, so dummy expect a bargain.
O. C.
My girlfriend and I had the signature hot chocolate. We both really enjoyed the marshmallow part, however the hot chocolate itself wasn’t to our taste as we found it too “bitty” and “strong”. It’s a fantastic place.
J. F.
Absolutely fantastic hot chocolate, and the banana jam ice cream pie was delish, too! Thank you especially to Alex for the fabulous customer service!
K. B.
I would rate this place 10 stars if I could!! I make it a point to visit Chin Chin Labs every time I'm in London for more than 2 days and I'm never disappointed! I was recommended this by a friend more than 2 years ago while we were discussing the trend of liquid nitrogen ice cream and I cannot explain how rough regular ice cream is compared to these smooth delights! Not only do they make delicious ice cream but also amazingly rich and dark hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow! Must must visit.
N. K.
A few things to keep in mind while visiting this spot:
— it may be crowded at times and you might need to wait outside
— it’s really hot inside, it would be better to sit outside when served
— they prepare ice cream for each person separately, no pre-cooked meals
— ice cream is very very sweet
— take CASH!
I think some staff speaks also Spanish.
By the way, the floor looks really cool when it’s covered with the smoke from ice cream maker.
A. P.
Chin Chin claim to fame is liquid nitrogen ice cream with cookie dough and marshmallow. Their ice cream flavours - tonka bean, burnt butter caramel, valrhona chocolate, mango lassi and coconut & rose jam - and eleven toppings / sauces are all about indulgence. The menu also includes a brownie cookie sandwich and griddled cookie dough.
The Camden location resembles an industrial science lab with a three person crew scrambling between hand churning the ice cream, blow thorching the marshmallow and taking orders.
All of this comes at a steep premium. Five pounds for one scoop of ice cream and one topping. Flavour wise, there is definitely much better ice cream. If you are after a novelty, indulgent dessert, give Chin Chin a try but expect a long wait and a premium price.
H. R.
Nitrogen freshly made ice cream. Awesome flavors and super friendly service. Limited seating available. Unbelievable hot chocoate. Lots of vegan options available.
K. L.
I tried the Cookie Dough with Ice cream that Ricky recommended and it was amazing will 100% go again to try some other flavours. Might check out the Soho Store next. Ben also suggested the Hot chocolate to make at home and I Love it! Overall great experience from the pair and highly recommend a visit!
J. M.
Super cool! Loved this spot. Okay definitely the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had in my life!!! I'll dream of this!! 😁 It's going to be hard not to be in the same country!!
B. L.
Verdict - would return: fun and tasty!
Liked - signature hot chocolate with gooey marshmallows
Disliked - not a criticism per se but it’s very rich and sweet
Other comments - ice cream also tasty 😋
M. F.
These crazy scientists make ice cream out of nitrogen! It is so good! And coffee is also tasty. You can buy also a little bag of smoked white chocolate or a honeycomb. We visit here every time when we go to Camden Town. I Highly recommend!
E. L.
My second visit here! The ice cream is lush. CASH ONLY THOUGH. They should make that sign bigger. I had the burnt caramel ice cream with bee pollen honey comb topping. Limited seating in the store so be prepared to eat and walk.
j. C.
By far the most reasonable Mocha /Vanilla latte I have ever tasted. This place makes ice cream, white chocolate cookies(not easy to get one thesedays, cause I failed to get one twice before ) mocha/Vanilla latte that makes sense, in London. The ingredients they use for lattes are the most authentic and smart, which makes this Labs popular among tourists. Ice cream sandwiches are nice one to try as well. Whenever I needed 'Heart' to my coffee, I never bothered to make a journey to camden just for mocha, and it never failed to comfort me good enough to charge my strength for my work. Cheers! #thebinaryscale
K. B.
It’s amazing to see the attention these guys give to the smallest of details. Brilliant ice creams, which will leave you craving for more. The toppings for the dessert are equally tasty. Interior designing of this place could be a bit better though.
P. J. S.
Stumbled in this place by mistake and must admit it was one of the best food surprise I’ve had so far. I saw smoke coming out of kitchen aid machines and when I asked the staff if it was liquid nitrogen she confirmed. They add great toppings to the ice cream and also sell caramelised pretzels which are deliciously addictive!
K. P. J. (.
A cute place for tasty instant ice cream that is made in a unique way using liquid nitrogen to freeze the handmade ice cream. They don’t have a variety of flavours , but the ones they have are really good. We tried the lychee, coconut and rose jam flavour with truffle crumble topping and the tonka bean( kinda vanilla) with pistachio and cardamom topping ( this topping is a must try) and both were nice. Everything is homemade here.
We will definitely try their hot chocolate next time.. heard that’s great too.
Even though we loved the ice cream and was amused by the way the make it, service at the cash till was poor , the cashiers attitude wasn’t welcoming! We went there in the evening few days back and had no queues .
A. S.
Worth the price. Try honey comb if you like sweet burst.
M. B.
Very interesting ice cream place..Affordable and tasty, and the queue in front of it testifies to its quality.
H. C.
Ice cream flavours are limited but taste nice. The available toppings are pretty unique too. However, the poor and rude attitude from the cashier made the experience a bad one.
G. w.
Visited on a Friday late afternoon and had no queue at all - had lots of expectations on the place and ordered the burnt caramel ice cream in a chocolate cookie "sandwich". Ice cream was GREAT, but the cookies were dry and very plain, just felt like a usually supermarket cookie. So the overall taste was good, but felt like the cookies were doing more damage to this place than benefit. To sum it up:
1) service: 5 stars
2) queue/wait: 5 stars
3) quality / taste: 3.5 stars. great ice cream, ok cookies, and nothing special overall BUT would come back.
I. C.
Very cool ice cream "lab" with an inventive menu. We had a pineapple ice cream sandwiched between 2 "brownie cookies" topped with a cute Chin Chin labs chocolate. They make the ice cream to order and it tasted incredible. Stake out a table early as it gets full fast!
J. A.
I have attempted to taste the renound hot chocolate which was mentioned in several articles on the best places for hot chocolate in London. As somebody who really loves their cuppa of hot chocolate, this one was a "little" bit too sweet for me. There was plentiful of marshmallow on top, which by the time I ate enough of it to get to the drink itself made the drink too sweet to finish. I cannot say much for other food in the cafe, but if you have a really sweet tooth this is your place!
L. N.
Hot chocolate was good, not great. Definitely not the best I had.
Might have hyped up too much after appearing on Business Insider's.
However definitely does not live up to the hype.
Prepare for it to get messy and stick all over your face.
Review based on their hot chocolate - yet to try their ice cream.
A. A. G.
If you're looking for smooth velvety ice cream & great hot chocolate in Camden Town check these guy out.
Industrial aesthetic & nitrogen ice cream drama 👌
Plus the Camden branch has the loveliest staff
Unfortunately it's a cash only place but there are free cash withdrawal machines near by and inside the stables
R.
The only thing I liked about this place is their unique ice cream flavours, however everything else was extremely mediocre. In my opinion it’s way overrated and very small with extremely limited seating area. Staff was fun and lovely though. I do not think I’ll come again.
S. P.
LOVE the ice cream here! The staff is also very friendly! :) The hot chocolate is decadent and a must-try!
N. x.
Great ice cream.
Junaid is probably the best ice cream scooper in town.
Go for the tonka bean ice cream - best flavour!
A. B.
Worth the hype! Located right in the middle of Camden market, the hot chocolate here will linger in your mouth long after you’re done. Great place to stop for a rest, especially during the winter months.
The place itself is pretty small so I suggest getting it to go!
F. i.
Better pictures on IG than taste in real life. Pics on IG can be very misleading.
Flavour 4/5 Very authentic
creativity 5/5
Texture 2/5 not creamy and velvety soft.
I broke my plastic spoon trying to get into the meringue pie, and that was upsetting since i couldn't be bothered to get a new one.
hashtag-go2thegym
Recommend the basil mint chocolate chip icecream, and burnt salted caramel.
s. b.
very unique ice cream experience.
the burnt caramel flavour is amazing!
i recommend to add marshmello on the side
T. B.
I had the mango lassi nitro ice cream here which I was very intrigued about being an Indian myself - it was enjoyable - only thing is I do wish the cookie wasn’t as tough and had been softer to complement the lovely ice cream better!
Staff are great, and friendly - would be interested to go and try more if in the area!
E. N.
FUN of experience ice cream lover
Taste are good, especially the homemade topping.
But have to queue sometimes. The place are in the Camden market, have to come have their dessert ice cream after meal. 👍👍👍
M. S. K.
The service in this place was amazing the lady on the till was so friendly and helpful. The process are on the expensive side but the product is so so good! Definitely recommend to try while in Camden the toasted marshmallow fluff is delicious! The cone is generous for the price as it is filled inside half the cone also!
L. D.
Wow! This place was worth the whole visit to the UK. The vanilla ice cream is to die for, and the homemade marshmallow, holy Mary baby of Jesus was sooooo damn good. I need a whole suitcase full to take back to Texas. Will be back to London for this. GODDAAAAMM.
R. C.
Supposedly the first nitro ice cream parlour in the UK. The husband and wife team have a great selection of fresh custards that they pour liquid nitrogen into, whizz around in kitchen aid mixers, and hey presto, delicious ice cream. There are some regular flavours and always New seasonable choices such as strawberries and hay (no hay, just the grassy notes of summer hay). Worth trying when in Camden.
A. C. C.
Loved the caramel ice cream with cookies. The hot chocolate was good too.
B. T.
The best hot chocolate I have ever had! Served in a bowl & spoon bc the marshmallow makes the chocolate overflowwww! So be careful on the first scoop. Very small location with only 4 tables. Line moves decently fast. Loved the marshmallow fluff I got on the hot chocolate. Takes cash and card.
P.
Tried the pumpkin flavored icecream which was delicious, but I have to say the price is a bit high for the small portion.
And cash only btw.
K. T.
Great place with friendly staff. Got the hot chocolate with handmade marshmallows. The hot chocolate was sweet, but I didn’t enjoy the burnt marshmallows. For £4.50, it’s a one-off novelty drink for me.
A. P.
Genuinely good. Not good in a kind of oh-me-too hipster chic way but genuinely outstanding ice cream made with real attention to detail and originality. Smooth glistening spheres of dense, creamy ice cream with great depth of taste served with fluffy crumbly cookies. Friendly efficient team and a great location. Do believe the hype.
C. M.
As someone who has eaten way more ice-cream than they should have, I must say this is up there with the very best...arguably the best period!
D. T.
Very good, but very sweet in the same time because of the marshmallow on top, I recommend it without it!
Ž. S.
Probably only place in Camden where you can get good quality ice cream. Sadly when we visited they did not have any crazy flavours for example beetroot as they had in the past but it still was a great dessert! Also how can You not tip such a wonderfully designed tip jar??? 😂
D. M. R.
Excellent place to go for a sweet treat!
Excellent service from the staff and specially from Ricardo, who knows the menu and flavours from top to bottom to make the best recommendations!
J. H.
Probably the best ice cream I have ever eaten. And I eat a lot of ice cream 😋. I tried the caramel with valrhona sauce and home made marshmallow.
C. A.
Delicious cookie dough! Lots of vegan options. Very sweet! One was enough to share between two people. Bit annoying that it’s cash only.
C. M.
Huge queue, but the ice cream was amazing. Super creamy and tasty, but a bit expensive!
Also, they are a cash only place which it's a down side for me.
L.
First of all the reviews with 1 and 2 stars and the stupid explanations are a bunch of morons
I've been there many times in both branches and I'll go many times more cause the ice cream is the best I've ever tasted.. the thing that they made instantly the ice cream with just the pure flavour of your choice and liquid nitrogen is AWESOME.. the branch in Greek street has more flavours in the same high quality
D. S.
The environment of the shop is very fitting of the service that they provide, it reflects the high quality of the delicious ice cream. I got the sticky toffee pudding with tanca bean. One of the servants called Anise she was very amicable and provided a quick and efficient yet friendly service.
Overall my experience was like being in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
C. M.
This was very very nice - reasonably priced and just the right portion . Queued for around 20 mins on Sunday late afternoon but it was worth the wait. However, I would have liked the taste on the 'burnt butter caramel' ice cream to be a bit stronger / less subtle.
S. M.
Burnt butter caramel is a taste sensation. Have it with the marshmallow fluff. Disappointing service though, like the staff don’t actually want to be a work or serve you
j. b.
One of if not the finest ice creams I've ever eaten. Really innovative flavours and a unique creative process. Lovely and friendly staff that accommodated for my slightly off menu order and I feel like because I got to chatting they provided me we a vast amount of honeycomb also, which as you can imagine is really great (particularly good as this honeycomb was infused with bees pollen adding a dark honey flavour to the otherwise tooth crunching cinder toffee).
A must have stop while in Camden market, you do pay somewhat of a premium but to be honest for the flavour quality, scoop size, and innovation in the process to make the ice cream as creamy as possible using liquid nitrogen in the cooling process. It is absolutely worth the money you spend.
Didn't get to try any of the unique desserts but upon my next trip to Camden town, I most certainly will. Absolutely a highlight of the day!
Ps: always keep the brown butter caramel flavour on it is just ridiculously good.
k. b.
Chins Chins signature rich hot chocolate topped with torched marshmallow is definitely a must! Everything they serve is truly delicious and really worth the trip. The experience is super cool as you get to watch the smoke being prepared (liquid nitrogen) whilst they make the yummy ice cream desserts.
L. A.
Different and incredible ice cream made with hydrogen, the flavor is so intense I think they are an interesting option to try
J. W.
Lovely ice cream, but bit of a sausage factory - they just want you in and out. This is a shame, cause part of the magic of nitrogen ice cream is being shown/seeing it in action.. but they just want you in and out.
Think they need to open a larger store!
B. L.
What a great little place! It was our first time visiting Chin Chin a couple of days ago and Anisa was so kind and patient, explaining everything to us. It was exciting seeing Dom make the ice cream in front of us. I thought it might take a moment but Dom was very efficient. The ice cream flavours were different for sure but they tasted delicious and both Anisa and Dom were so friendly! Will definitely be going back!
I. M.
The ice cream cookie was really nice above average and worth a visit. Usually big queues but worth the wait.
a. k.
Can I just say I was met by the most spectacular front of house, Nisha who was so insanely friendly and I allowed in even though they were closed! They still served me with the best customer service I have received! A complete 10/10 experience! Ben and Ivy helped me as I’m so so fussy, but they were all understanding and I got salty hazelnut praline ice cream and I genuinely could not believe it was vegan! It tasted like something from the Ferrero brand. This was my first time here and honestly it did not disappoint! I was recommended a load of other things which I cannot wait to try! I’ll be back! Thank you for your wonderful and kind hospitality Nisha, Ben and Ivy!
E. G.
Super creamy vegan ice cream and outstanding service!! Love this place! The girl with the dark curly hair and the Spanish guy were both serving me and they were amazing, so friendly and helped me to decide when I was stuck. Big shout out to them for making my day brighter!
E. R.
If you come to Camden, you MUST come here! They make the ice cream with nitrogen in front of you and it really makes it delicious. We had the vegan cookie dough and it was honestly sensational. The 2 Spanish guys who served us were incredibly friendly and they made our order so special we immediately came back and ordered another! A MUST GO PLACE - YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Thank you Chin Chin Labs and to the wonderful 2 Spanish guys <3 We will be back!!!
K. S.
Sampled the Tonka Bean Ice Cream, Burnt Butter Caramel Ice Cream & Hot Chocolate. All of it was to die for. If I was on death row having a last mean - Chin Chin would be choice desert vendor!
C. G.
Great ice cream in Camden with unique flavours. The staff were so friendly and even replaced my son's scoop free of charge after he dropped it on the ground outside! Will definitely visit again next time we're in the area.
E.
One of the best ice cream places 😋
Hot Chocolat is good but the marshmallow on top is little bit heavy .
L. T.
Excellent food with amazing staff who make your time unforgettable. Anisa and Dom were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. Highly recommend this place! Great to see the nitrogen being used to make ice cream right in front of us. :)
F. Z. (. D.
Really interesting to see how they made the ice cream. Good taste but a little bit to much sugar for me.
H. K.
Amazing experience. Cozy and vibrant enviroment, with genuine and unique ice flavours. Vegan options (:
S. “. r. n. E.
It's more than an interesting concept. The ice cream they prepare is actually really tasty and the portions are relatively inexpensive (compared to a similar portion of regular ice cream in a fancy restaurant) at the £5-6 on average. Plus the service was friendly and the place itself very pleasantly decorated and they played cool music.
M. B.
I ordered the burnt butter caramel, the service was fast and polite, texture of the ice cream was amazing, but I didn't really like the flavour.
Now that's not to say that's the ice creams fault, it definitely tastes like something had been burnt but I can't complain about that it says the word burnt on the menu. So that's on me.
Would recommend, but I'm going to try and different flavour if I ever come back here. The burnt butter is definitely a polarising flavour choice.
P. T.
Came to experience the social media crazed hot chocolate. Super decadent, delicious and worth the visit for the ‘gram. Once is enough though. 😬
c. s.
A tiny little place in the middle of Camden, very cozy. The pandan ice-cream was amazing, a bit pricey but worth the experience.
C. H.
Deffinanty the smoothest ice cream I've ever had! If you are in Camden it is a must visit!
S. A.
GOOD STUFF. Had the hot chocolate. Was very rich! Enjoyed!
S. T.
This place has taken the art of making ice cream to the next level! Long queue even during winter, that's how popular this shop is.
C. G.
Fantastic range of dairy free and vegan ice creams! They are creamy and so delicious, definitely not too sweet and just the perfect consistency. Their small scoops are huge and the prices are 100% worth every bite.
R.
Using the online store during the pandemic, I was excited to receive my all time favourite white chocolate from Chin Chin. Unfortunately, due to errors I received the wrong order twice. Despite this, Ny and the team were quick to respond and allowed me to keep the wrong orders as a sorry on their behalf. Not only was this customer service outstanding, but completely unexpected from a small business during these difficult times. Would 100% recommend their grilled white chocolate, or cookie dough starter mix if buying online, but also their AMAZING ice cream once the stores open again.
k. k.
Ricky and Dom were very helpful and kind. Great service
L. V.
Deserves 6 stars!! Try the Tonka Bean with Fleur de Sel Caramel sauce. Must try for ice cream lovers
D. P.
This is not just an ice cream place, the options for a dessert with ice are amazing! You can build your own option and get great recommendation from the people who run the place. They add special have flavours too like pandan (which I loved!).
C. T.
If you like ice cream you better try this one. A unique experience in Camden market! Hot chocolate with marshmallow is a must as well! 👌🏼
S. A.
My second visit here to have taste their awesome ice creams. Will definitely be back to try some more from their menu. The sticky toffee pudding is delicious. I've noticed other reviews bash the customer service. I didn't encounter any issues with the service at all.
L.
Myself and my partner ordered the cookie dough, after she loved the ice cream. I hated it, yet she loved it so I can't rate this poorly based on my sole judgement. Portion size for the cost is small. The venue itself is small, therefore there is limited seating.
B.
Simply the best ice cream I have had. Really creative designs, flavours and combinations. Every changing specials menu throws up some nice surprises.
The technique they use ensures the smoothest finish to the ice cream!
S.
Yummmmmmmyy!!!!! The vanilla ice cream is to die for 👌 just what I was looking for 😍
S. H.
Loved the sticky toffee pudding icecream, really delicious and high quality, 4 stars not five as there was a bit of a bitter aftertaste and portion size is on the small side
A. A.
Tried the mango lassi icecream and the tonka flavour icecream. Both tasted amazing. But be careful the tonka isn’t for everyone. My sister did not like it. The marshmallow fluff is delicious. The staff are very friendly and it is served quickly.
A.
The name is funny if you speak Japanese you would know what I mean.
Delicious ice cream, but keep in mind, it’s cash only.
H. K.
Best ice cream I have ever tried. Cool experimental flavours.
D.
Pumpkin 5 spices, special flavor... the cookie dough is tooooo sweet
S. A.
This is a very busy place with unique flavours of ice cream. Their best is the brownie cookie sandwich with burnt butter caramel ice cream. The queue can be very long especially on a sunny day but it will be worth it at the end. You'll also get to see how the ice cream is made using liquid nitrogen. Definitely worth it if you are in the area.
C. B.
Ice cream was absolutely fabulous! Shame they don't have much seating or take card payments.
B. R.
Amazing ice cream but not amazing sorbet very cool experience, I got the killer cone which was a red cone that tasted like red velvet cake and throughout the whole cone was veggie marshmallow fluff, very good. The best Icecream is the burnt butter caramel! Didn't enjoy the beetroot, rose and coconut sorbet!
F. K.
I visited Camden Market because I heard that the Insta-Famous Chin Chin Labs was there! I was very excited to find this out and headed out immediately. I arrived at Chin Chin Labs and the staff was super kind and very sweet :) I ordered the hot chocolate w/ marshmallow fluff (it's vegan!) I went ahead and tasted it and I was sort of disappointed. The hot chocolate tasted very bitter, and it wasn't even hot; so that was a bummer. On the table across from us, there was a family who had ordered a burnt butter caramel ice cream. They had seemed to be enjoying it until they found a long piece of hair in it; which was a really unpleasant sight. I didn't finish most of my "hot" chocolate and chucked in the dustbin, and had left. I would recommend this place, but keep some cash as they don't accept cards! A nice trip but wasn't quite worth the money for the hot chocolate.
C. L.
One of my favourite ice cream places in London. It's a shame that you miss out on the show of how they make the ice cream now when it's busier (before you could touch the condensation from the nitrogen as he poured it in and he explained what was happening). Ice cream tastes great, staff is really friendly and flavours&toppings are of exciting variations. If you don't feel like going on an adventure I strongly recommend their vanilla with honeycomb and salted caramel topping.
R. P.
The smoothest ice cream! I had chocolate ice cream, caramel sauce and hazelnut topping - cost: £4.40 and well worth it. None of the flavours were sickly sweet and the chocolate ice cream was so good, it would have worked on its own. Friendly staff. Definitely worth follow up visits.
d.
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had, combined with delicious brownies.
C. G.
A cool and quirky take on ice cream, the staff are friendly and whilst it's busy, you don't have to wait too long to be served. The ice cream itself was nice but nothing special to be honest, the toppings though were very good. It's quite expensive seeing as you get one scoop and one topping for around £4
A. F.
This is my favourite place in Camden and the staff are excellent. Ben, Anisa, and Ivy were so helpful when I last visited. Ben even kindly lent me his spare t-shirt as I stained mine with ice cream!
A. Y.
Remember to bring cash! The Pondicherry vanilla was exquisite. Nitrogen ice-cream is known for its super smooth and creamy texture and this place didn't disappoint. You only get one free topping! Strongly recommend the honeycomb. Would want to try their more unusual flavours next time. I have had better chocolate ice-cream elsewhere but that's personal preference.
R. A.
Had the vegan griddled cookie dough with tonka ice cream and pistachio cardamom topping. The girl there was really nice and asked if it was my first time there and said I wouldn’t be disappointed with my choice, which I wasn’t! I will definitely be back for this again! Cost £5.70
A. D.
Very popular and busy place.Good customer service.Good ice cream but the wait could be long as there you will find a long queque
R. L.
Make sure you have physical cash in hand and then take your pick of the treats on offer. The flavours are always great and I love the bee pollen honeycomb.
In the colder months the fondant cakes are a great choice and in the warmer months I prefer just to have a scoop of ice cream.
There may not be many spots to park your bum inside but it's lovely to walk down the canal and head into Primrose Hill as you eat.
H. L.
My girlfriend introduced me to Chin Chin, and we are now firm regulars there. I can't express how much I enjoy both the ice cream and the people who work there - the food is incredible (easily the best ice cream I've ever had, and ALWAYS interesting), and the people are always kind, friendly, and fun.
Each week (pretty much) there is a new guest flavour, with generally 2 guest flavours available at any time. These are always fun, interesting, innovative, and without exception (in my opinion) delicious, including even such flavours as Beetroot Sorbet with Dehydrated Goats Cheese Crumble.
Also available is excellent Monmouth coffee, very well brewed.
The prices are actually very reasonable for the quality (I think £3.95 for an amazing ice cream with a topping / sauce) and I have never been remotely disappointed with either service or excellence of the food.
It's always a joy to visit Chin Chin - the atmosphere there is electric, since everyone who goes there seems to be amazed and excited by what they do there.
All in all, I would heartily recommend visiting - though I warn you that you may well be hooked quickly!
j. b.
One of if not the finest ice creams I've ever eaten. Really innovative flavours and a unique creative process. Lovely and friendly staff that accommodated for my slightly off menu order and I feel like because I got to chatting they …
S. J.
One of the best ice cream in London 🍨
D. “. W. S.
Interesting tasting ice cream, I would recommend giving it a go, the burnt white chocolate is nice.
A. C.
Loved that brownie... a place that u shouldn’t miss if u’re around Camden Market
R. V.
Best hot chocolate I've ever had, and with this perfect marshmallow goodness with it!!
G. I.
I found this place while i was in London with the circus. It’s in Camden market which by itself is full of things to eat and do. Stop by for the thickest and most over the top hot chocolate! It’s super yummy!
A. H.
tonka bean ice cream was delicious!
A. B.
The best desserts in Camden. The Valrhona chocolate with pistachio/cardamom toppings is to die for
E. A.
Cool ice cream made with nirto
J. F.
Delicious icecream. The flavor I had was raspberry rose with a honeycomb topping. My wife had chocolate with toasted marshmallow. We preferred the raspberry but the chocolate was good too. We also had a hot chocolate. The marshmallow was to die for but we find the chocolate very heavy and bitter. There were three big drawbacks: under staffed, hardly any seating, and the place is cash only.
D. “. W. S.
Interesting tasting ice cream, I would recommend giving it a go, the burnt white chocolate is nice.
J. E.
I can see why people rave about this place, texturally the ice cream is lovely. I went for the burnt toffee and it was tasty, but I think maybe the flavour was a little too burnt and it verged on too bitter. It's also really small inside, so unless it's quite you have to eat it whilst you walk because there aren't many seats.
E. J.
This place is incredible, and so is the staff! Didn’t realize it was cash only, so my friend and I were about to leave. It was our last day, so we were out of pounds. Mary offered us a brownie sandwich on the house. So sweet. And the food was amazing. Thank you for treating us! Passing the good luck on.
M. A. F.
I happened upon this place while roaming around Camden and stopped to warm up with a steamy hot chocolate they were serving from a small cart outside. I was served a creamy indulgence that was clearly made with fine ingredients (£2.50) and I topped it up with a generous helping of marshmallows for an extra 50p. What a treat! I also sampled their egg nog, which was outstanding. This place is definitely worth a X-Mas time visit.
M. L. F.
I've been to Chin Chin Labs twice now and neither time has disappointed. You feel like you're in a chemistry lab as you watch the masters at work mixing the ice cream using liquid nitrogen with smoke pouring over the sides of the bowl.
I like that they always try different flavours. Most recently I had cream cheese frosting and red velvet ice cream which was unique and amazing.
Also whoever came up with the idea of grilled chocolate is a genius!
My one negative would be the cost as it's quite pricy for what you get but as a special treat it's not too bad.
S. E. H. K.
Excellent service, I showed up right at closing and Ricky, Junaid and Domingo were very patient and accommodating!
E. M.
Worth the queue time, Chin Chin Labs ice cream is the smoothest ice cream I've ever tasted. Love the unusual flavours too. Last time we visited we tried peach ice cream with blue cheese whip, bizarre flavour combination but it worked. Yum!
S. K.
I tend to feel like Camden's a bit too cool for me. But I braved my insecurities with the place for a visit to the Labs and would definitely do it again! Who knew liquid nitrogen could be so fun?! This place is a must- not only for the experience and delicious ice cream but also for the wonderful customer service and seriously friendly staff. You're sure to have a delightful time.
J. C. S.
An ice cream cafe without comparison. Consistently top quality uce cream, regular new flavours, a delightful experience everytime and the owners are very friendly and always willing to have a chat about their awesome business. Not surprised that it's been named the best ice cream in the UK, you really have to have it to believe it. It's incomparable.
D. P.
Lovely place.
Really nice concept with amazing flavours.
Very friendly staff.
Highly recommended.
C. W.
I keep coming back for this ice cream, time and time again. It's fascinating to watch them make it with the nitrogen oxide and there are always different flavours to try. The only thing that's a bit offputting is that you used to be able to pick two toppings - now you pick an ice cream flavour and a sauce flavour. Things like popping candy and honeycomb bits are charged extra (at approx. £1.50 a pop too), which is a little disappointing.
h.
A futuristic dessert place! It's great to see them make the ice cream and the choice is GREAT!
F. S.
Great ice cream and excellent coffee! This is a perfect treat though you may have to wait for it and there are only few places to sit inside (then again, the market is right outside and you can go grap a chair there and enjoy the vibrant life with yummy ice cream).
S.
Their ice cream really was delicious. I’m sometimes a bit wary of gimmicks, but this was well worth queuing up for. My only complaint - which is minor, is that it’s cash only. Once you know, you know, but I’m one of those annoying people who don’t seem to ever have cash on me, so it was annoying.
W. O.
So, best ice cream in UK? Doesn't say much for UK Ice cream then. All about creaminess and texture, shame someone forgot about flavour. Lots of marketing schpiel about provenance of ingredients doesn't hide the fact that the taste is quite ordinary. And expensive to boot but 'theatre' has always been a bit pricey
m. s.
Amazing. Don’t miss out, the ice cream is stunning. A must have.
R. V.
Best hot chocolate I've ever had, and with this perfect marshmallow goodness with it!!
N. S.
Amazing ice cream! A lot of fun to watch them make it and tastes amazing. Not a lot of space to sit, and sometimes can get busy, but definitely worth the wait ! I recommend the brownie one
P. L.
I'm a big ice cream fan, so was excited to try out Chin Chin Labs. It's one of those places people talk about a lot – I mean, making ice cream using liquid nitrogen is pretty cool – so I had high expectations. The ice cream was really great and they have lots of toppings so that you can customise to your taste. Worth checking out.
M. A.
Visited some time ago. Had to wait a long time to be served. Wasn’t explained about the concept. Rushed and hurried along. Wasn’t anything to ride home about. Had white chocolate.
G. A. L.
Delicious ice cream and dessert. Had the red velvet cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I don't like the store itself, it's waaaay too small so it gets easily crowded. Not comfortable even for just standing there and wait to buy.
C. S.
My tied top 2 ice cream parlour in London. The ice cream is soooooo tasty and creamy. Besides, the warm soft marshmallow under the ice cream makes the difference. You have to try it.
M. P.
Home to weird and wonderful concoctions it's a brilliant quirky little find - a personal favourite! Perfect in the summer for astounding us with mystical experiments and a life saver when the weather's not so amazing with its luxurious hot chocolate. An ice cream parlour in a whole league of it's own.
G. C.
I have been to Chin Chin labs a couple of times now. Although the selection of favours is minimal they are always very original and taste great! The recipes seem to change regularly which gives you a good reason to return again to try out the latest liquid nitrogen concoction! Really smooth and creamy textures with great choices of sauces an toppings. A little on the pricey side but a fun experience nonetheless.
C. G.
At Chin Chin Labs, ice cream is as much an art than a scientific success, the perfect equation adding taste and liquid nitrogen. This is the first address in Europe to present them in such an innovative way. And those are done on the spot, right in front of you, within a minute, a frosted fog unrolling around the machine. Look around, the decoration is inspired by chemistry labs, popping candy in test tubes, sweet equations on the white board, sugar and home made sauces in bechers. The choice is simple but so tempting. Exquisite vanilla or decadent chocolate for classics and always a couple highly creative choices. Mine was a frozen mint julep – fresh mint, cucumber, elderflower and whiskey. This comes with a topping or a sauce (homemade) of your choice (try the caramelised peanuts with a touch of green tea – I would make a detour just for this). You are told, when handed your treat, that this has the texture of snow. For a minute, you will probably struggle, trying to remember the last time you tasted a flake, not quite succeeding. It becomes clear at the first spoonful. An ice-cream, you see, tends to melt as soon as it touches the warmth of your mouth leaving you with the creaminess and sugar. But this has a much better, much more velvety consistency, giving you more time to make it roll on the tongue, enjoy the flavours fully. So much more elegant, so very refined. Even better enjoyed sitting along the canal, a few steps from there.
M. L.
Ice cream tastes so much better when it is hand-crafted for you in a cafe that feels much like a school science lab. Think white lab coats, large flasks of liquid nitrogen, sauces in measuring beakers, and little test tubes of candy. I loved my Pondicherry vanilla ice cream topped with Valhrona chocolate sauce - but my partner's hazlenut crunch toppings gave me serious food envy. The menu is a little limited - but you will be hard-pressed to find better taste in London.
a. C.
Omg this place is amazing!!!! And it's super cute on the inside too, I got the ice cream nachos and tity cake (lol) service was outstanding, very warm, friendly, and welcoming. Mary (I think that was her name, black girl, really cute) was super helpful, I'm sure I was difficult only because I had a hard time choosing between everything, but she was really patient with me which I appreciated.
A. B.
The best desserts in Camden. The Valrhona chocolate with pistachio/cardamom toppings is to die for
R. S.
Such a unique place. OK so its a bit expensive but this is artisan ice cream made to order. Flavours are creative and fun. I forgot to mention delicious!
O. F.
Expect to queue on weekends! Nice but not the best ice cream in London. Very limited choice of flavours. But understand this is a small shop with high demand.
J. C.
Best ice cream I've ever had in my life, and the whole shop itself is fantastic. Lovely staff and tasty treats abound through the billowing clouds of evaporating nitrogen.
E.
Can't fault this place! The ice cream is perfection and the staff are really nice. Definitely worth the wait in the inevitable queue. I'd recommend the caramel ice cream with marshmallow!
N. Y.
Lovely deserts, small place and quite busy
J. F.
Chin chin is a must try . It offers instant handmade ice cream using nitro technique. Loved the concept. The ice creams are divinely tasty and fresh with plenty of incredible flavors. Service is fast and prices are fair.
G. I.
I found this place while i was in London with the circus. It’s in Camden market which by itself is full of things to eat and do. Stop by for the thickest and most over the top hot chocolate! It’s super yummy!
A.
Amazing place for desserts unlike lily's chocolate which me and my family are still astounded with the terrible and rude service. Chin chin was very accommodating and patient. Thank you guys we will be back soon as we live close by.
A. H.
Among Camden's busy shops and market stalls, you will find Chin Chin Labs ice cream shop. Strange name for a place that sells ice cream? That's because it specialises in ice creams frozen instantly by liquid nitrogen, making 'nitro ice cream'.
The concept is pretty simple: pick what you want from a relatively small menu, and then they make it in their open kitchen in front of you in minutes. It's novelty, but the results taste quite good too.
V. B.
Does look good. Worth mentioning that they do not have a card machine so you have to bring cash! It’s a little weird because all the stalls and shops surrounding do have card machines. Ended up not going because we were already tired from walking around and I wouldn’t know where the nearest ATM is. Shame because they’re losing business really.
N. M.
Ice cream still on point, but theatre somewhat diminished. Kids still loved it
S. F.
Delicious ice cream served with a twist! So fun watching this being made. A selection of delicious flavours. A must if you’re in Camden 🍦
I. A.
Their best is the brownie cookie sandwich with burnt butter caramel ice cream. The queue can be very long especially on a sunny day but it will be worth it at the end.
O. W.
Best ice cream there is. Liquid nitrogen not only adds a fantastic mad-scientist visual twist but also makes the smoothest ice cream on a molecular level. Mind-blowing flavour combinations (from peanut butter jelly to tobacco, leather, strawberries and hay... all totes delicious), textbook classics, brownwiches (Whut? Yiuh!) as well as the best hot chocolate in London. Go Chin Chin
R. A.
Delicious, the ice cream is delicious at its exact point.
Recommended!
A. K.
Fantastic experience! Order your ice cream and see it being made, like magic, with liquid nitrogen! We had the Pondicherry vanila with a salted caramel sauce and it was rich, creamy and delicious! Highly recommend!
p. t.
I nice little cafe to watch the world of Camden go by. The wife had spotted dick with rhubarb ice cream which she said was divine and I had a coffee which was nice. The staff here are very friendly and are not trying to push you out there door.
A. C.
Loved that brownie... a place that u shouldn’t miss if u’re around Camden Market
P. T.
One of the best places for an ice cream in London; specially when it is not busy and you clearly see ice cream being frozen in seconds in front of your eyes! Unique choices of toppings as well!
R. A.
Great experience! However the shop is tiny, therefore it takes some time to get served. There are only 2 tables and the prices are quite steep, but the flavour and dry ice make it worth it..
S. G.
Chin Chin labs is home to the most incredible vanilla ice cream, ever. Had the cookiewich but wasn't particularly impressed with the chocolate chip cookies - too hard and crunchy.
Save a couple quid and opt just for the ice cream. You won't be dissapointed.
G. C.
a fun experience for ice cream lovers - ice cream very creamy. a little bit more expensive than usual ice cream, but well worth the experience. enjoyed the different flavours too
R. M.
This place is amazing so you can understand why the queue is always so long! It’s all worth the wait to get your hands on the delicious vegan options they have available in this place! We had it once and can’t stop going back, it’s become my favourite place to get dessert!
H. S.
Vegan cookie is super tasty!
P. P.
Awesome ice cream.. cookie is as good if not better than the ice cream..
O. R.
“Chin Chin labs is a great program for adults or children alike. Quite nice to have your ice cream made in front of you, being part of the experience. The flavour varies and they have some weird combinations, that actually work. Highly recommended!”
J. E.
Not bad. Nothing too special. $4.5 for 1 scoop
K. M.
Can't recommend this place highly enough - you have to try it. It's only a tiny premises but it's fascinating to watch them at their craft. The ice cream is to die for - don't think
I'll ever taste better.
J. S.
Wow! Came here to make ice cream for a night out. Great fun playing with liquid co2 and pretending to be a mad scientist. The range of flavours are more unusual than the standard vanilla or choclate. Go mad and create your own crazy concoction.
s. h.
A completely unique experience, with a beautiful interior and inventive new flavours every new month. the quality is unreal and unmatchable anywhere else in london!
A. C.
Great flavours! Absolutely love the toasted marshmallow on the hot chocolate
D. K.
The ice-cream is definitely worth trying at least once for the experience.
Y. C.
Smooth ice cream with a variety of options. Really enjoyed the 'Brown-wich' (2 brownie cookies stuffed with burnt caramel ice cream)! It opens daily from 12-7pm.
J. C.

Great ice creams and good customer service. Outside tables are nice for summer but winter it’s a bit cold.
f.
Simply the best. You must try their ice cream sandwich and grilled white chocolate. Absolutely delicious!
Do keep in mind that they only accept cash.
R. M.
Original idea to freeze ice cream with nitrogen. Taste is good, worth to try.
Not much space inside cafe but there is some seats outside. Not easy to find how to get there.
K. G.
Chin Chin is a madcap gem tucked amongst the grime of Camden market. Serving up handmade ice cream using liquid nitrogen, it's a treat to watch - and they have an ever-changing, ever-eclectic menu, plus toppings. My fave included some rather chunky honey comb (also homemade). LOVE.
B.
Simply the best ice cream I have had. Really creative designs, flavours and combinations.
Y. K.
Europe's First Nitro Ice-Cream Parlour!
Who wouldn't love this place? It has a something something for everyone... I especially loved the rose and lychee float. Scrum-diddly-umptious!
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to taste something slightly different but not scrimp on deliciousness :)
A. G.
The specials are always to die for. My fav ice cream/dessert place in London. I only wish they would be open till later so I could get there more often
A. H.
Amazing ice cream. I was quite cynical about the concept, thinking it would be all style and no substance but actually the ice cream was delicious. I had the vanilla with a giant caramel pretzel stuck into it. Perfect!
M. S.
Minus one star for rude/careless service on Sunday night. The warm ice cream sandwiches are very good and have a creamy texture.
T. S.
A nice small place in the Camden market.
Very special and tasty flavours. Not a large variety but all sounds good - as well for the toppings.
A. J.
very delicious cookie dough with ice cream!

Beautiful flavours and tastes. Great atmosphere and staff.
A. Y.
Incredible ice cream. I loved loved loved the pistachio dust and the freshly toasted marshmallows

Great ice cream with some unusual flavours to choose from. Surroundings a bit cramped if you want to sit in and eat your ice cream.
M. F.
In love with this place . Such a great variety of delicious baked and sweet goods that are always freshly made and served at reasonable prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff.

If you via Camden then you have to check out Chin Chin Labs, their Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream is seriously the most yummy thing ever. Just make sure you bring Cash as they don’t accept card.
P. G.
Really nice ice cream and interesting to see the nitrogen thing, but definitely not the best ice cream I ever ate. But it's ok to have a look and try it.
S. O.
Best cookie ice cream ever. That’s it.
M. D.
Fun gastro science watching your ice cream frozen on demand.
Delicious flavours with a range of toppings.
Great tasty fun.

L. A.
Willy Wonka of ice creams. One of my favourite ice cream places, made to order with liquid nitrogen.
H. M.
An absolute slice of paradise during weekdays when the camden markets are a bit quieter. And a must see place to visit this summer for some refreshing nitro magic :D
A. K.
Simply amazing icecream with the smoothest creamiest texture! One of the best in London.
E. T.
The marshmallow was too sweet and too big half the cup was just marshmallow. A bit disappointed to be honest. Maybe bad choice
N. G.
Lovely service. Able to try flavors first. Delicious ice cream.

Mediocre ice cream with the honeycomb being the highlight of the visit, what is off-putting is the tongue in cheek assassination fund for President Trump, stay out of politics and stick to ice cream.

I have been going to Chin Chin labs for the past 4 years - it's an awesome place and I always make sure to take newcomers to Camden here.
The ice cream is superb, super smooth and full of flavour.
If you're interested then the staff will happily explain how using liquid nitrogen alters the Ice Cream making process.

(Translated) Delicious ice cream prepared with nitrogen at the moment. Wide choice of flavors, cups, cones also for vegans and intolerants. Excellent also hot chocolate and desserts.

Gelato buonissimo preparato con l'azoto al momento. Ampia scelta di gusti, coppette, coni anche per vegani ed intolleranti. Ottima anche la cioccolata calda e i desserts.

(Translated) An ice cream, cocoa and coffee shop .. inside the Campden Town Market
Famous for hot chocolate with marshmallow on top
The shop is small and has no seats in it .. I mean, take your request and delegate it
(Original)

(Translated) Very sweet ice cream ! Taste better mix ice cream and marshmallow!
Marshmallow mixed ice cream is delicious! Marshmallow is not the kind that a supermarket sells. It is a whole but not like the night market in Taiwan. It has a rich taste and cotton. It is delicious. But if you are not an ant, you should feel too sweet after eating it!
(Original)
Very sweet ice cream ! Taste better mix ice cream and marshmallow!

(Translated) An essential place if you pass in the area. Their hot chocolate with its homemade marshmallow fell to the ground. I would come back to test the ice cream. It just lacks a few more tables to be able to settle down because the place is very small!
(Original)

(Translated) The taste is normal, the price is high, and the shop is small, but those who love photography will like it
(Original)
الطعم عادي والسعر غالي والمحل صغير بس لمحبي التصوير راح يعجبهم
