Excellent super friendly Korean fast food restaurant. We absolutely loved the pork and also the beef donburi. Every single item in the donburi box was tasty and complimented the other bits. A real pleasing mixture of hot, salty, sour, sweet. We also tried the vegetarian gyozas which were also tasty and freshly made. Aside from the food the place was very clean, comfortable and the service was fast and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely food. I would definitely be coming back for the hirata buns, both the chicken and beef were juicy and full of flavour. The chicken katsu was tasty and a good sized portion, I really liked the pickled veg with it. Overall great experience dining in.

Was super excited about Donburi opening again. Lovely spacious dining area, lovely staff and of course always yummy food. I work across the road and each time I come in, Lee and the team greeted me with a big smile. Next time I’ll take a photo. I just couldn’t wait to eat them every time I order food, and always forget to take a pic 😊 thank you!

Expect tasty spicy food in a cool woody setting and soft music. Staff is knowledgeable of the food and full of advice. Toilet are clean and decent size. Off street Parking is available but train station is within walking distance of the restaurant. Will definitely come back.

So, I’m not an expert in Japanese or Korean food but I like the food here especially the tofu bibinbap, however, I do think it’s a bit pricey and the service on my second visit was a bit disappointing. The staff were lovely and friendly but they couldn’t confidently tell us what was vegan or ingredients ins some of the dishes. But overall a nice place with decent food.

The food was delicious, the decor great. The serving staff polite...but the meal took forever to arrive and just before it arrived we were told that a key ingredient had run out. Why not tell us when we were ordering? Kitchen needs to talk to serving staff. Generous discount given.

The food was amazing! Real comfort food and good value. A nice selection of drinks and I always leave with a smile. Wish I knew how to cook Korean! Will definitely come back! ✌️🥟

I enjoyed the experience of the new cafe, the staff we're very polite and welcoming. Food delicious love their chicken katsu and the price's were cheap. I would recommend it to anyone feeling for korean food in that area, definitely will be back for sure. Oh and grab a choco-pie their ...'Banging'.

Enjoyed so much on Monday evening as food tasty, staff kind and good price. This shop should be busy as there is no better food around here but it was so quiet. Bibimbab in a hot stone bowl was soooooo good. I will come back another day soon.

Super tasty donburi, fairly small menu but great food! Japanese drinks offering including sake both hot and cold. Better value at lunch times compared to dinner. My usual favourite is bibimbap and an Ashahi.

Had dinner here on the weekend and it was great. Alarm bells initially when I saw they would be doing both Japanese and Korean food, but they nailed both. The KFC (wings) are up there with the best I've ever eaten. Bao and Katsu curry were excellent too.

Good food if you are new to Korean 🇰🇷 because they are a fusion restaurant with Japanese classics here like chicken yakitori 🍢. The Korean F C is fantastic! And I love their fried dumplings 🥟, which you don't normally get in Chinese (my favourite) cuisine. Chicken Donburi is pretty cool too, if you want something that's not too weird but a bit original. Spicy 🌶 bbq pork lettuce wrap is good too but I pull the fat off because there's a lot of it.

If you've ever visited Korea and are expecting something similar this is not it. The bulgogi is more like something from a steak footlong in subway. Also massively disappointed in the gyoza wasnt pan fried at the end and more like a chinese dumpling. All that said the food was tasty but not Korean at all, would happily order again my only disappointment was expecting something a little bit more authentic.

Amazing foods and friendly staffs! I went here before they refurblish, and I’ve been here today, Foods and staffs are still great for me. I also asked why they’ve change and She explained so well like they changed to take away shop and price dropped. It makes sense for me... It could be shame for any onther people who loved previous one but I’m sure I will visit there again.. cuz they’re still good!
